We held our Senior Prom here, Felipe who is apart of the event staff was extremely RUDE! The ballroom was musty, not vacuumed, and the carpet had stains everywhere. We had to ask for trash to be picked up along the walls prior to prom. The rest ofcthe staff was kind, but Felipe was unprofessional, and is the cause of us not returning next year.

Oh my god… I booked 2 queens and the beds are barely bigger than singles! also no one told us there would be a rock concert outside our window. I have one very tired and irritated child. Never again. Front desk staff is not helpful at all.

Hotel and hotel Staff gets 5 stars, We just feel sorry for the Employees and those Customers like Us who had to deal with the selfish guests vomit at the pool area and loud party all night at the hallway inappropriate behavior and the trash they left after the party all over the hotel. I understand is out of the staff's hands We just feel disappointed after a sleepless night and not being able to use the pool for obvi.

I have to say how extremely disappointed I was in our hotel stay. We checked in this past Saturday, and the air conditioning seemed to not be working in the entire hotel. We were miserable trying to sleep in a hot 79 degrees. The sheets were damp and the carpet was wet from the humidity. We were there as part of a big group hosting an event.
We were all dripping with sweat the entire 2 days working on setting up our event. The rooms were filthy and unkempt and the rooms and hallways smelt rancid and foul. The “pleather” chairs in the rooms were peeling and falling apart sticking to our clothes. The keypad broke on my room door and I was locked out for several hours until maintenance fixed. We host, not only our big charity event here every year, but also our high school prom.
I have to say I’m dreading our next event here unless some MAJOR RENOVATIONS happen. We were booked for 2 nights, but decided not to stay the 2nd night because the rooms were so hot, and dirty, we just left to go home at midnight.
Disappointed & disgusted to say the least.

We have been coming to this Marriott for years. This visit has been overall pretty bad. We called to see if we could use our suite certificate and before we even finished the lady on the phone interrupted and said no we are fully booked. Then she was rude at check-in. We had requested extra pillows and we never got them. Our room had fewer pillows than normal and only 1 towel despite booking for 2 people. When I tried to get late check out I started with the chat feature at 9:30 am and by 11 was not getting responses so I called the front desk and after being on hold for 20 mins I walked down. I expected to see a huge line but no one was in the lobby waiting. I think you guys need to step it up. This is a nice hotel and I’m a rewards member and Marriott card holder. I expect better.

The rude customer service, the refusal to give me towels (I had ONE for a double occupancy room for five days and was told where to do laundry which also costs to do) is reason enough for me to never stay here again. My bed was heavenly and the room was spacious and clean. My television worked fine but there was no service connected and no attempt to fix it by the hotel. I was told the Wi-Fi is also unavailable despite having paid extra for faster Wi-Fi. Not sure why that was an option if they didnt have it but the least they could do is not charge you for what you cant use. I doubt that will happen. There clearly was once beautiful opportunity here. However, it is poorly managed and I imagine that will not change anytime soon.

Always love staying at this hotel. Great location. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. However, last weekend our catalytic converters were stolen off of our SUV while parked in the adjoining garage. Very expensive weekend…

Way overpriced. No amenities. They just know it’s a good location so they overcharge. They do the bare minimum as a hotel. I’ve had better stays at just some regular chain hotel that offers room service, a hot breakfast and at least offers some kind of coffee other than the stupid little play toy coffee maker in your room. Not worth it.

We had a problem with the AC. The front staff was rude. The fix was to tape up cardboard over the intake vent in the room. They wouldn’t switch our room and no one followed up to see about our room. It was a hot mess, literally! We had paid for a concierge king room. WASTE OF MONEY! Don’t stay here! In fact, we did say that we would be leaving a review. The response by front desk manager: “You do what you need to do. ”

Staff is helpful and the hotel is spacious.

Tons of shopping within walking distance. There were activities in the town square each night. The area around the hotel is safe and very clean. The front desk attendant (Karmen) was very friendly and accomodating. We had an event in the ballroom. The room was clean and all of the waiters providing food and drinks were very friendly. Highly recommend this hotel for any event or a great nights stay.

Great place for shopping, dining, drinking, walking and just hanging out. Lots of parking with 3 "free" garages and a lit of street parking as well. Huge green area in front of City Hall. Enjoy!

Excellent location and view from our room (544). However, the 2 girls working the check in desk at around 11:00pm are lifeless… and seem bothered that I would ask them any question regarding the facility. They seemed annoyed and aggravated that I interrupted their conversation to inquire about a drink and some ice. The young Latino female seemed as though she was bored, didn’t enjoy seeing people, didn’t care for her job, or just didn’t really care about life in general. My question is this… why in the world would u put 2 girls like that front and center? Only thing I could think of was maybe someone in their family passed away earlier that day. And so they were sad. I felt bad because I asked where I could get some ice. -Room 544

I was kinda passing by. I only got inside and looked around. It looks good and it was busy with guests. I think there was a conference. The location is great because it is in the heart of the town square. The reception staff look friendly. One time maybe three years ago I was there and I asked about the conference room and the lady that talked to me was nice. I know nothing about the rooms since I never stayed there.

Gone down like a roller coaster at Six Flags. The front desk will not answer the phone. Internet is Super Slow… The beds are SINGLES, not doubles! By any standard. We stayed here for 6 years and it was fine. Now, please bring your own water. There’s no water offered in the room, not even for purchase. They will sell you water. No more Club Level offered unless you are apparently GOLD Elite Superior Status. You can’t just be Marriott rewards which we are silver. Whatever. Thank heavens I won’t stay at this place again. Now, I can’t say that the restaurant across the street which is now called bar Louie is fabulous! I would highly recommend Bar Louie. Exceptional staff good food very attentive service.

A very beautiful hotel. Did a wedding party hair in one of the rooms, the rooms were very nice size where you was able too move around freely. I love that place. You can have a stay home vacation.

We loved the location of this hotel and the entire furnishings. Clean, modern, comfortable, roomy, elegant and reasonably priced. It's in the middle of a shopping strip and close to the main highway. It's perfect for a weekend concert/shopping trip. Loved it and was very impressed with our whole experience!

This is no mere hotel. Simply spectacular. The foyer and bar are beautiful, the many ballrooms (although unseen) appear to be princess worthy. The staff was very helpful, respectful and accommodating. The pool is fantastic. We stayed during a thunder and lightening storm, swimming on the 3rd floor balcony with music playing, fun lighting, comfortable seating and warm water while watching lightening was simply an experience I will never ever forget. The location is also very nice, late night cafes and bars abound. Although very quiet and serene outside.

This is a Great place to have an event. Just went to AISD Awards Program. They have a very big room for large events. We had a sit down dinner and the food was Great. Easy to park your vehicle close to the Hotel.

Fantastic staff and very helpful. Was a pleasure staying here. The food on the room service menu could definitely use improvement but the hotel is located walking distance to plenty of great places to grab food, including the bar + grill across the street which has a kitchen open until 2am. Great place to stay with a great surrounding. Highly recommend.

I attended an event at Sugar Land Marriott (Prom). Event space was well decorated and food was amazing. Every employee was very personable. The ambiance of the hotel overall was very nice as well. Would definitely recommend hosting an event or staying at the hotel!

Typical Marriott and what they offer with amenities. I was there for a conference as well and everybody was happy with the facilities. The location is premium because of the great downtown bistros and other stores that are within walking distance. Having a free parking garage helps alleviate any concerns of parking so you don't have to deal with the meters. Overall a great stay!

I've stayed here overnight twice and I love it. The location is amazing with a ton of excellent restaurants all around it. Staff is really nice and full of great suggestions. Anytime I stay in the area I will stay here.

From the moment we checked in until we checked out, everything was wonderful. The room was very clean and well stocked. Staff was friendly & helpful.

We stayed her on a whim one night. Very easy to get to and park and the staff was really nice and checked us in very quickly. Our room had a good view of the town center and was quite and comfortable. There was lots of stuff going on downstairs but we didn't hear any noise from their events. I would definitely stay here again since it is so convenient with everything to do in the town center area.

Excellent staff, and service. Rooms are quiet, clean and new. Location is close to multiple restaurants and shopping centers. Fitness center is ok if you're looking for cardio. Not a lot of free weights and not a barbell to be seen. Pool area is very well kept.

I've never stayed at this hotel personally, but their first floor restrooms are the only "public" restrooms open at night in Town Center, and they are A1. Top notch. Stalls are private. Always clean. But the soap… Why doesn't it lather? I'm so confused by their soap. — 1 star for weird soap. I wanna see bubbles, fam.

Never again on the Earth Day weekend. This lovely hotel's windows vibrated for 4 hours with the Earth Day event. There was no escape from the horrible thumping music from across the street. I was hoping for r & r. Not here… not on this weekend… never again!

Overall, not on par with other Marriott experiences. Check-in was bumpy and I was given the wrong room. The staff was courteous. The bellman was the highlight of the stay! He was incredibly friendly and engaging. He needs some help! He works his butt off.

Attended a wedding reception. The ballroom was very nice and staff were good. Rooms were dark and dated however. Fine if you're just staying one night and just need a spot to sleep.

This hotel is in a great location if you're wanting to dine and shop nearby. Parking can be a pain depending on the weather. It was cold and raining when I stayed in December and we had to walk through the rain from the parking garage to the hotel. We did not use valet parking, but we were still billed a $20 fee. We also had some very noisy neighbors that were having a party in their room past midnight. Finally, all of our room requests made via the Marriott app were ignored. Apparently, their staff didn't have access to see requests. Spoke to mgmt and they offered us free breakfast. This was a beautiful hotel but the experience we received did not justify the cost of our stay.

If I were only rating my overnight stay here, I would probably give it four stars. It was more or less what I expected, your standard Marriott. I'd been in and out of the lobby here before since it's in a good location. Lots of good restaurants nearby, as well as shopping. Lots within walking distance. Easy parking. Check in was easy, though it did seem to take a while. No one helped us with our bags, but it was 2am so maybe they have a bell hop during regular hours. Room was clean. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that a "double" was two full beds instead of queens. The guy at check-in even made a big deal about telling me there was plenty of room for the four of us (for my bridesmaids and me the night before the wedding) and how the double wasn't two twins (which is true… I guess). The other star I docked was the experience I had with booking them as a room block for my wedding. I'm in the Houston area and my wedding was in Sugar Land, so I decided to book with this Marriott. We negotiated a price that was relatively reasonable. Lower than the market rate at the time but we had to sign a contract to be responsible for 90% of the 20 nights we reserved. The contract was fine. The problem came when I discovered later that the market rate for the Marriott was lower than our contract rate, a month before the wedding.

We had a less than ideal stay recently at this Marriot. We thoroughly enjoy Marriot hotels as a whole but would not recommend this location to anyone. We have complained to Hotel management about our awful stay at this location and were given a mild apology and told to enjoy the complimentary breakfast. We tried again and received an apology and told to come again so they can try to do better. Why would we ever go to a location again that does not seem care about a miserable stay we already had? I recommend you find another Marriot in the Houston area before ever staying here. At this location you may as well be staying at a Motel6.

I went for an event and the meeting rooms were elegant. It is a place where you would have an important event as a celebration. Not much parking, but the area is very nice.

Chose location due to proximity to Methodist Hospital. Commute to hospital is very fast and allowed my family to take shifts visiting without much worry. The parking in the garage nearby usually had spaces on the first level. Most of the food venues nearby close around ten on the weekdays, but plenty of options are available. A concierge is available all night with free drinks and snacks, and breakfast in the mornings (except the weekend). Room was cozy with a view of the pool. Reception staff was very accommodating.

Room: Very comfortable, as you'd expect from a Marriott. It was a little hard to get out of bed in the mornings! Service: Very professional and helpful. Location: Tough to beat in Sugar Land. Easy access to 6 and 59 makes it easy to get anywhere you need to go and Town Square provides plenty of food and entertainment. Overall this was a great experience and we'll likely be back next time we're in the area.

The hotel was conveniently located near where I was celebrating Christmas with family. The shops and restaurants around the hotel are great. Our room was clean and comfortable. Valet was nice, but will probably choose self park if we stay there again next year.

The employees were all very nice but the bathroom wasn't very clean. Our tube of liquid hand soap had clearly been used and we never received a replacement even after requesting it with the front desk. The location is very convenient and near lots of shopping and restaurants. I would stay here again but would bring antibacterial wipes.

Their workers and managers are rude and unhelpful. We've been here before many times, getting treated like strangers was very frustrating and unprofessional.

I've stayed at nicer hotels for cheaper prices. This will be my 5th consecutive week at this hotel and they refuse to even bring me a wine opener. The rooms are old and terrible, and the elevators are a pain. Some of the staff here are excellent but some have bad attitudes that definitely stand out and make you seem like your stay here isn't important to them. The one redeeming quality I can see is how accessible the surrounding businesses are. If you want a hotel where you can walk out the door and find dinner then this is the place; if you want a nice room with great service you'll need to look elsewhere.

We love staying at the Marriott Town Square because of the location and the surrounding businesses. Great restaurants and shopping. The one thing that I don't like is the smoking area is at the front entrance. This is a non smoking facility so it should have a designated area away from the entrance for smokers, at least 25 feet.

Apparently you can only request a room and hope for the best. We wanted a king but they didn't have any. I travel a lot and have never had this happen. What was worse was that we were told they do have them but they were holding them for gold members.

We booked a suite and adjoining room for my daughter's birthday weekend. It was wonderful. We were able to drop off luggage curbside and find free parking in the garage next door. We were greeted promptly and warmly. The room was great; spacious and clean. The beds were great and the couch and additional seating in the suite was comfortable. The area around that hotel was chic and vibrant. The girls enjoyed the nearby shopping while the boys headed to the Sports Bar to catch the MLB playoffs. The area was outstanding! We would most definitely stay at the property again.

Great foyer and such, very very classy. Rooms are little dated, still with showers over a bath. Our room had zero ceiling lights, the lamps struggled to make the room fully light at night. Very good location in sugar land, some freeway noise though.

This was more of a forced stay at the hotel rather than some getaway because of hurricane Harvey. But, it was still good nontheless. Angela at the bar is super awesome. The food is actually pretty good, a bit overpriced? Sure, but definitely filled me up. The guac and onion dips are fantastic.

I visited the Sugar Land Marriott Town Square on August 12, 2017. Was one of the best hotel experiences ever! Great service, everything was very clean inside and out. The location is excellent with lots of cute shops and restaurants all within close walking distance. June, at the front desk assisted me at check in and was excellent (very efficient, friendly and helpful). Thank you all for a pleasant experience.

Me and my fiance stopped at the Starbucks attached to the lobby before dinner. We got drink and sat on the patio, which was very nice. The only restroom I was told about the Starbucks staff was in the hotel and I found it to be very clean and pretty. However, there didn't appear to be a lock on the rather large, closet-like-door. So that being my only complaint, I'd say it was a good visit.

This is my 2nd time at this location. Which I enjoyed so much that it prompted my return visit. It has a great venue, view, and attractions all around (so much to do) if you're a night person and outgoing. Slight bummer if you're not a lively or night person, then this may not be the best place simply due to the traffic and music or street noise one can hear from there room. I love it! and i'll be returning soon!

The room was nice and very clean. We were there for a conference and very disappointed with the food. Pork was too salty, tuna fish just gross and then they would run out of a food item and never replace it. At dinner there should have been a kids Buffett but kids food was with the adults. Mac and cheese ran out out. Management was indifferent. This was a conference for medically fragile kids! Your response at first was it will take too long then it was you have to pay for it and your director will not authorize. That's bs you screwed up! I went to the bar and purchased what I needed and had all kids eating in under ten minutes. I showed management and they just smirked. The next morning I ordered ala cart. It took over an hour and only half the food arrived. We called management no response. Then my wife questioned an item on our bill and again no response. We will never stay here again and left earlier than we wanted to out of sheer frustration.

Love the location of this hotel. The staff is both friendly and helpful. The hotel is nice, could use a few upgrades but nothing major. Would definitely stay here again.

I was disappointed with the fact that we pay so much for a room and unless we used our coffee pot in the the room we had to pay for coffee in their restaurant. We went and had breakfast in their restaurant and only my husband ate and it was $26 for the buffet and we couldn't use the concierge room unless we were platinum members. Outrageous. We were there for a marriage retreat and the smoking area was disgusting. Drinks from the previous night were everywhere with cigarette butts in them. Ridiculous. We won't stay there again.

I work next door to the Sugar Land Marriott in the Town Square Center and have a great relationship with the sales team there. This location is perfect for my guest because of the convenience of being able to walk next door. Steven at the front desk is always so gracious and informative. Although they do not have concierge, the front desk agents do a wonderful job to recommend nearby attractions and services. The lobby and rooms are always in pristine condition. This hotel offers various and beautiful meeting spaces as well as banquet rooms. Guess also love that there is a Starbucks attached. This hotel is located within a shopping center minutes from the mall, hospitals, and an airport.

Just finished a great stay at this location. It is quite despite the town center location being in the thick of a popular nightlife scene. We had many guests from our wedding stay here and all of them loved the accessibility to live music, food, and drinks. The night after our wedding we were greeted to chocolate covered strawberries and champagne. We had a suite over looking city hall and we absolutely loved it. We also were provided the discounted rate that all our wedding guests were given for the suite which was very nice of management. MARIA did a fantastic job organizing our wedding block and all the guests enjoyed their stay. One last note, the check-in staff is the best I've ever seen. Fast, friendly, hard working, and knowledgeable. There's one guy who worked a ton that weekend. Can't remember his name but he got off at 11pm Friday and was back in by 7 am Saturday. He was amazing and I appreciate all his help.

5 areas: This is a beautiful hotel that paid the money for a gorgeous lobby and bar, ballrooms, patio with large fire pit and just in entertaining in general. 5 stars for that. Front desk staff was very friendly. (Bar staff, not so friendly). Room had a large big screen TV which was nice (we wanted to watch some football). As far as rooms, they are mediocre at best. They have very few King rooms and mainly all double rooms so keep that in mind if you're wanting a romantic get away or just to enjoy a big bed (unless you book way in advance you're not going to. As they explained to me). No fridge, no coffee machine, no hair dryer, no laundry bag, few TV channels, sand paper towels, super tiny bathroom (compared to all other Marriotts I've stayed) and the A/C took half the day to reach a tolerable temperature. It was sweltering for a long time. Wifi worked around lobby & grounds but not in the room. (Maybe I didn't log in the right one? ). I've stayed at town and fairfield's from the Marriott brand that had WAAYYYY nicer rooms and better room amenities. So, if you're coming to hang out, grab a bite and a few drinks and watch the game at the bar, you'll love it! Or lounge outside by the fire pit and large patio, it's awesome. But if you want to just enjoy some time in your room and relax, I'd pick another location. Great restaurants and entertainment within walking distance.

The food and snacks were great. The rooms looked nice! Sometimes the pads and pens were not stocked but overall it was great!

I took my keys, left my luggage a in my room and left for dinner around 8:45 pm. I came back to my room around 10:30 pm and when I pulled the blanket, I've seen a stain on the sheet. Because of the color and size, stain disturbed me and I called the front desk and asked for a change of sheets. Someone came and handed sheets to my roommate and left right away. And I called the front office agai and I explained that this stain was here when I came and I need my bed redone. And they said that there is a high volume at this moment and they can't change my sheets. They offered me a room change. I said I'm ok with that because I really wanna sleep since I have training tomorrow morning here in Marriott again. Then they said that they will get my sheets changed. It's been more than 30 min. I'm waiting for them to come and change it so I can go to sleep. This is not supposed to be the experience in this branch. This is a very decent part of the city and this one branch is not a cheap branch.

Staff is incredibly friendly. All common areas are well appointed. Only complaint is that we did not receive turndown service.

Attended the Bollywood Gala at the Sugar Land Marriott, it was very nice. The set-up was awesome. Great place to host an event.

Stayed back in December and, for the most part, it was a good experience but I was stuck on the hotel elevator for a hour. The fire department had to come and pry the does open. I was contacted by the general manager the next day and they stated they would rectify the situation; I'm still waiting on that to happen. They never followed up again and still haven't sent me what they promised me.

We host annual professional events at this venue and the staff has always been professional and accommodating. It's definitely one of our top venue choices.

Everytime I've stayed here, it's been nothing but delightful. I've stayed in everything from the basic rooms to the super awesome Stephen F. Austin suite. The staff is friendly and warm and does everything in their power to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The rooms were nice. The breakfast service was a little slow. Really convenient lounge when you stay on the concereige level.

Simply put I Love the Sugar Land Marriott Town Square. My initial stay was three weeks ago on business and the service and ambiance at this property was so outstanding I decided to come back for a leisurely stay and enjoy what City Walk has to offer. This second time around, I fell even more in love with this hotel. As someone who travels for business on a regular basis I tend to take certain things for granted, but the professionalism and friendliness of the staff at this property left me very impressed. The rooms are beautiful and the drinks and food at the hotel's restaurant were excellent. This hotel sets the bar very high for all other hotels. I look forward to my next return.

Awesome stay! my wife treated me to my birthday weekend there January 9th — 12th. We frequent the local areas quite often but never the Marriott. The bartenders were the best. Derik, was one member that I can remember. Also red carpet treatment in the room along with champagne, cookies, cheesecake and strawberries. The breakfast was awesome. The people were very professional and courteous. Looking forward to going just to enjoy happy hour at the bar soon.

This place is nice and clean the room was good, but they had to reprogram my key card twice so twice I was locked out of my paid for room and the food they serve is lame, any of the restaurants around it will be much better and they have a cheescake factory right around the corner.

We loved the staff, the hotel and the location. But we stayed in a double room and only received one towel upon check in and each time our room was cleanef. We had to call down each day and ask housekeeping for more towels. Also you have to pay for Wi-Fi if you want it in your room. And it's not like $2 either. For the price you pay for the room Wi-Fi should be included everywhere in the hotel.

I had a great time, I like the amenities and the food, I will be coming back very a SOON.
