Honestly I was disappointed at first with my stay, I guess I was expecting more being in sugar land, but I will give credit where credit is due. Pro: close to the hospital where my son was. Mattress extremely comfortable. Staff very friendly. Maid service efficient. Cons: carpet smells (especially in the hallway). Absolutely no water pressure (which would be nice after sitting up all night/ day at the hospital). Breakfast was ok. Pool was dirty. Although advertised as a non — smoking hotel, there was guests smoking on the premises. I would save overall it was a fair or ok stay for the price.

The hotel is very nice. Clean and spacious rooms, with a refrigerator and microwave. This is great for small families. No smoking in the hotel, but there are outside areas provided.

We stayed in the third floor, the hallway had a funny smell when you get off. The room was nice and clean, bed was comfy however the pillows we're either to soft or to firm. I enjoy working out the gym was what it was no free weights however decent machines. A bike, treadmill and an elliptical. I chose the elliptical it was a little unstable and I couldn't go forward and backwards without it shutting off. Breakfast is only served till 9 am 10 would be better. Decent selection just don't expect a lot of healthy choices.

The hotel appears to be fairly new in a very quite neighborhood. All of the staff were very friendly and excellent at their jobs. Beds were comfy. Breakfast in morning not so good. They need more fresh fruit, yogurt, and cooked oatmeal (without all the additives. ) The eggs were awful. The pool area is very nice — small, but nice — and relaxing. The biggest drawback to this hotel is all of the harsh chemicals used for cleaning. It smells like chemicals as soon as you walk through the door. My eyes were red the entire stay from the cleaning chemicals used. We stayed in a BW last November that had NO carpet in the rooms. It was awesome. Wish all hotels would go to a more environmentally friendly cleaning regimen and get rid of the carpeting.

I always love my stays at Best Western. Haven't had a bad one in over 5 years. Sometimes they don't put out the waffle batter, but guess it helps keep my waist line in check.

The entire stay was great. The staff, rooms were very clean, the Decor was beautiful as well as the outside. The guy working the breakfast was very friendly and helpful.

Look very clean inside and out but there was an offensive odor thru out the hotel. The smell was so bad in our room (110) that I had to put a drop of perfume under my nose to sleep and left there feeling nauseous. I'm not sure what the smell was but I kept thinking urine.

Wonderful area. Quiet. Staff is friendly and of help all the time. Away from freeway access road so that’s a plus as it’s not on the access road where there would be a lot of noise. Staff is great I would not stay anywhere else.

Great hotel with comfortable bed and multiple breakfast options. However, did not get a lot of sleep due to the constant pounding noise from footsteps. Maybe it was just my room location or being on the 2nd floor, but if I need to stay here again, I will have to bring a white noise sound machine. At that point it would be a full 5 stars… because then the noise wouldn't be a problem.

Very clean everyone was extremely friendly, the entire staff. Morning breakfast had a nice variety of pastry, waffles and fruit. Stay was nice and surroundings had shopping and fast food. Aaa +

Great location & plenty of nice restaurants nearby like Salt Grass & Brick House. We like to visit Wharton 20th century technology museum & space center from Sugarland. Nice area to jog in morning. Great breakfast including wide variety of muffins, hard boil eggs, omelets, & fruits and pastries. Rooms have microwaves & good size refrigerators. Very relaxing.

I stayed here for a night when in city for work. My office is in Sugarland so the hotel was couple miles away. I chose the hotel as it was cheaper compared to other places I generally stay at. I didn't expect much, but was really impressed how this place is maintained and managed. The hotel is really clean (no smoking anywhere), the rooms are big, spacious and so very clean and well maintained. My stay here was very comfortable and I think I will stay here from now on. The breakfast is just about ok. Pretty much same as what u would expect in other such hotels. But for the cleanliness, the spacious rooms, low machine noise in room and the staff, I highly recommend this place.

Do not stay here. The excellent reviews that show up are likely fake and written by the hotel or paid to do so. We stayed for a night during Hurricane Harvey, it was an horrible experience inaddition to the stress we had about flooding. Bad thing about this hotel location, it is very close to the Brazos river and was under voluntary evacuation. Hotwire is bad in not revealing such information to the customers. The staff (lady) at the front desk was very rude and took 20 min to reach her after we arrived for check-in. She was not inviting, maybe a bad night for her or some personal issue. The internet was down and the staff was not ready to resolve it until next day. The rooms were okay, but the sheets and pillows were stinking as rightly pointed out by my 3 year old. Hopefully, this review get posted so that folks who plans to stay here in the future will know the truth.

During the catastrophic flood in Houston and surrounding areas, they refused to take my dog. I asked for an exception to the rule, considering I live in the neighborhood and it was an emergency. I offered to pay a "fee". I was told "we cannot change our policy". What a horrible way to respond to the devastation. Jerks.

Very nice hotel. Located close to Smart Financial Center. We stayed in a room with a kitchenette and there were open bags of potato chips and dip in the cupboard, also there weren't any utensils for cooking.

Clean, friendly staff. The shower head was clogged and the water pressure terrible. The fridge in the breakfast bar was in the "danger zone" on the thermostat, which left only with the bready options for breakfast. For some, this wouldn't be an issue, but waffles, French toast, cinnamon rolls or muffins aren't diet friendly nor are they appropriate for my gluten free husband.

Little Secret… pool all for ourselve. Mall 10 min away… 1 hour to airport… room good bed good! WHAT IS NOT GOOD: breakfast up to 9:00 am… wtf!? guest wake up like 8-9. Sad. Especially if one is very hungry! irritates.

Just passing through for the night & I wish I could have stayed longer! That's very surprising for me to say for a hotel especially one that I chose just because I was passing through the town & happened to come across it. Very spacious room for one. Friendly, clean, quiet & accommodating! Top things I look for in a hotel. Totally exceeded my expectations! Definitely would stay again!

The worse customer service ever! They stole money from kids playing softball trying to do something with their life. They lied and where very rude! After everything was said and done the group housing will never use them again!

I had one simple request after my van was significant damaged overnight at this hotel. And that was for them to pull the video and give me license plate of the vehicle that damaged our van. I called the hotel four times. I gave them detailed information. I do not hold the hotel the responsibile for the damage. I do hold them responsible for their inability to help me identify the individual who caused 2000.00 worth of damages to my van. My phone calls were never returned. So they can now deal with the police and my insurance company.

Big soft beds, nice and clean. No issues. Inside halls for room access, so even on cold day a non issue as your walking to vending & ice machine in climate controlled environment.

I didn't get to stay the night but when I called to see if they had any vacancies the gentleman that answer the phone was very friendly and very helpful he spoke up where I can hear him without mumbling like the rest of the places I called. They wanted your business like if you where doing them a favor not the other way around. You know what I mean by that don't you.

All around nice comfortable well lit room. Nice staff, easy to exit stopped traffic on nearby freeway. We were not looking for luxury and just wanted to stop the car after 660 miles on the road. We were happy with the room and convenience to local dining. Pool was unheated : (hot water spa converted to a planter : (breakfast consisted of, rolls, biscuits, waffles etc. A better breakfast and spa would have earned it five stars from me. Still would recommend the place despite these minor flaws.

Unless you're there on business and plan on getting up early, you won't get housekeeping services. We stayed 5 nights and didn't get our room cleaned once bc the cleaning crew leaves early. Unheard of! The staff was very nice and the place is quiet but the housekeeping services just blow my mind.

Hands down the nicest and newest Best Western I have ever stayed in. Friendly service, very quiet rooms. When I saw my company booked me here I started looking for other hotels, but this turned out to be nicer than the past two Holiday Inns I have stayed. Happy hour just has drinks, no food like most other chains have.
