Wonderful hotel in the heart of museum district. So much to do and see within a small radius. The staff is amazing and friendly. The hotels shuttle conveniently whisks you to local restaurants or shops. Rooms were well appointed but I wish there was a bath tub. I will return here again.

Always top notch… and care! Left my Tiffany Necklace In our room… called the next day, they went and hunted for it, arranged shipping it back to us. And we’re the nicest! Every stay at each ZaZa is incredible! Highly recommend.

Love Love Love it here… had the pleasure of staying here three times now… My honeymoon being one of the visits… My husband and Myself were very pleased with our room The Champagne Villa it was an upgrade because of the occasion Zaza showed up & out & we couldn't have been more satisfied… If I ever leave him I'm moving in.

Stopped in on Christmas Eve for a couple of drinks. They politely valeted our bicycles as we enjoyed the comfort and well appointed lounge area.

Ambience very very nice. Good and service in the restaurants was awesome. Went to the spa and had one of the best massages I’ve ever had and I’ve had many.

Impeccable and unique! Worked with Tina Nguyen for an intimate wedding and couldn’t have asked for more responsive, helpful and professional service. One of my absolutely favorite places.

The pool is everything! Must go to the spa. The staff is incredible and the products are fantastic!

Taking photos of girls in the pool and around it. Staff did nothing about it. They were smug enough to show the girls the photos they took of them in front of staff, staff still did nothing.

5 Stars Made a surprise reservation here for my girlfriend’s birthday. Super friendly people welcomed me and there were refreshments in the lobby. We got an amazing room overlooking the pool with an enormous bathroom! They delivered champagne and a birthday cake to the room, and gave us a complimentary ride down the street to dinner. Excellent breakfast at the hotel restaurant on the patio. I’m chillin by the pool right now while she is in the spa getting a massage and facial. This was a staycation as we both live in the Houston area, but this feels more like a resort than a hotel. Highly recommend!

Such an amazing hotel. I travel a lot for business (220 days or more a year) and this is one of my favorite hotels. Rooms are fantastic, service is wonderful, food and cocktails are exceptional… I could keep going on and on or you could just stay here and experience it for yourself!

I love this hotel and their quirky little paintings around the hotel. Always great service! I had no idea they had such a cool brunch spot. Make sure to sit out at the patio for brunch. Their eggs Benedict is delicious!

This Hotel has a lot of charm and sophistication. I loved the decor and all the pictures of celebrities. The bellman and the valet gentlemen were very nice and courteous. I would like to give 5 stars but the ladies at the front desk were very rude. We did have some issues with the room and at checkout communicated that. The clerk was dismissive and combative and then when the customer behind us complained about the time it was taking for us to resolve the issue, she smacked her lips and said "I know right ". In my opinion she should have apologized for the wait and kept it moving with that customer. Hospitality training would be beneficial. Other than that we had a wonderful time there.

Came here for a staycation celebration for my boyfriend's birthday. I've always wanted to check out this eclectic boutique hotel. It did not disappoint, we got upgraded to a JR Suite right off the bat. Pool service ends too early, and pool closes too early. The pool does get pretty crowded, but understandably so as the pool is really cute and a nice place to hang out — pretty small pool too. I would definitely stay here again, The Monarch restaurant was so delicious, didn't eat a bad thing there.

So impressed with this hotel. They didn’t have our magnificent 7 suite ready and automatically upgraded us to another M7 suite larger and had champagne and a cake ready for us. Spa was delicious and room service right on point. Mike our shuttle driver was fabulous and the pool area inviting. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Cheers!

Loved our stay here (07/06-07/07 2018). Great valet service, front desk provided excellent customer service. They even provided a shuttle service to anywhere within 5 miles. Amazing pool lounge area. We stayed one night, ordered room service, food was good. Also, I highly recommend signing up for their loyalty membership! We even got an upgrade to our bed from queen to king! We will definitely be returning!

This is a great place to stay. Very stylish, in a modern casual way. Friendly, helpful staff made a really good impression on us. Sliders and bourbon on our arrival was a nice touch. Each morning, jugs of coffee are provided on each floor so you can grab a cup before heading downstairs. The restaurant is very good and there's an excellent sushi place around the corner. When our flight was delayed and we had to stay an extra night, the desk took pity on us and upgraded us to a beautiful room overlooking the pool; we are very grateful for that. There's a good atmosphere at ZaZa, and I would recommend staying with them.

I arrived and the valet guys acted like they didn't want to attend to me. I saw them help others, who arrived after I did, first. I had to drive around that driveway 3 times. I didn't want to be late for my business appointment and they were just standing around talking until I had to get a little assertive with them. Once I was inside, things were fine. A person directed me to where my meeting was. Employees greeted me with "Good morning. " The staff was very friendly. I conducted my business and then went to retrieve my car. This time, the valet service was better. A young lady asked me if I needed help. I provided my validation ticket. It said to call 15 minutes before, so I was prepared to wait. But, I don't think I had to wait 5 minutes. Except for the valet issue at the beginning, I had a great experience.

My room was not ready when I arrived at 6:30 PM. The young lady, L. Mays at the desk told me to hold on a minute to check the status. Unfortunately, the room would not be ready in decent time so she said; don't worry I have another room for you. No worries at all, I thought another king with a balcony would be offered. Please note, this was my first visit to Hotel ZaZa and let me tell you, out of all the hotels I have stayed at in my lifetime, I have never had customer service like this. L. Mays said being your first time at ZaZa I apologize your room was not ready but, your room will be one of our Magnificent Seven: It Happened One Night. This room was significantly more than what I booked and I am very grateful for the fabulous upgrade though, not expected at all. My two nights in this stunning room had spectacular comfort like a one bedroom apartment and beautiful views of the city! If I could give this 10 stars I would. Thank you for your wonderful team from greeting, check in, valet and concierge service! I will return to ZaZa everytime I'm in Houston. You truly have a magnificent team! Thank you for your kindness and hospitality all the way around! PS… you must try the strawberry cake… it was Ahhhmazing!

Great hotel, but all the rooms are not equipped with bathtub, not enough to prepare a coffee or tea in the room, the Villa rooms are spacious and we view the pool but are very noisy with the delivery trucks or the traffic, no space for smokers, a restaurant but expensive located in the museum district but away from the Center and a neighborhood that next to the hotel where you should not venture at night because not on. It's not a hotel where you can rest quietly.

Great hotel. We are local and did a birthday get away. The staff was great. We didn't book thru the hotel and I have had hotel staff at nice hotles treat me differently because I had a "discounted rate" not at ZaZa. They were incredibly professional and made us feel at home. There were a lot of nice touches that set the place apart. Highly recommend.

Attended a friend's event there. The valet didn't open the passenger door of the car for my wife — I had to walk around and do that. The only person in the lobby who helped us find the event which was upstairs was the hired security guard for the prom that was being held there (not hotel staff). None of the catering staff seemed to want to be there and one dropped a fork full of salad dressing down my back and barely acknowledged the mark on my jacket. There were no signs or directions on how to have parking validated at the party so when I went to get my car the valet charged me $15 and didn't care that it was supposed to have been complimentary. To sum it up, beautiful place, good food, significantly sub par service.

Hotel Zaza was absolutely wonderful! I arrived after 12 midnight where they were anticipating my arrival. The front desk agent was efficient and professional. I was pleasantly surprised with an upgraded villa with a cheese and fruit platter and wine waiting in the room. Room decor was clean, unique decorated and outfitted with wonderful amenities. Whenever I'm in Houston, this will be first choice! Also, I left a package at the front desk and the concierge called and made the requisite arrangements for it to be shipped to me.

The ZaZa was a great hotel. Went for a meeting and the meeting room accommodations were nice. Some of the rooms are on the small side but I'd say worth it. The decor is amazing, from the furniture to the paintings, to the koi pond in the lobby. The bar is a whiskey lover's dream also!

We love ZaZa! Where we stay the night and enjoy all the amenities our just pop in for a couples massage. We've been to other spas but this is by far, hand down, the best Houston has to offer. One day we will stay in one of their themed rooms. Until then, we will continue to enjoy the regular rooms, beautiful pool, restaurant and spa.

Peaceful and serene. I was hoping to see tge cherry blossoms but they have not yet bloomed. I will definitely return. Nice place to picnic or just sit in silence. A lot of construction going on right now. I wish that annoying Metro warning wasn't so loud, I didn't hear it in the garden but walking to and fro.

We booked a jr Sweet. The room was really nice with a great view. The staff were very courteous, from the valets to the front desk. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because of terrible evening we had at the restaurant. The waiter was not interested in helping us at all but was attentive to two other tables outside. The vegan meal was a roasted stuffed red bel pepper to which was only roasted not stuffed. They didn’t clean it out at all so there were seads in it. As Gordon Ramsey says if it’s not Edible don’t put it on the plate. I don’t complain about the price of places when you go full well knowing it’s not going to be cheap. But if you’re going to be charging those prices in your restaurant you Damn sure better have a good staff and food.

Suite was very comfortable and HUGE! Great service and always with a smile. Loved the lighting and the art… museum district style! Definitely recommend!

Hotel Zaza is set apart from others with it's eclectic interior design throughout the hotel. Not only is the lobby meticulously designed, the rooms also had much thought put into them. The hotel is located in the museum district and is walking distance from Hermann Park and museums. The hotel is kept clean and tidy. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Recommend to valet your car as it was very reasonably priced. The bar downstairs has a great vibe, wonderful staff and the dinks are made well.

The spa… OMG! The smell that welcomes you in is so refreshing that you automatically start relaxing. The ambiance is wonderful. The locker rooms have all the necessities that one could ever need at a spa. The spa shoes are so comfy and the robes are super soft. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The tea and fruit-infused water they offer are delicious. The sauna wasn't as hot as I would have liked it, but it served its purpose. The toilet area was clean and towels were replenished quite often. I will definitely be returning.

Very, very upscale; yet still accessible. Lovely atmosphere. Resturaunt moderately priced for breakfast/lunch crowd. No knowledge of evening fare or pricing.

Honestly so was disappointed. I had high hopes for this hotel. I stay in 4 Star+ quality hotels all the time and since it's so expensive and people talked about how great it was that it was worth it. It cost way more than other 4 star hotels, but I got one of the bigger king rooms and it was very basic. I switched rooms and it had a better room but then the bathroom was like a locker. It was so small. Please don't waste your money. There are better and cheaper 4 star hotels. Don't believe the hype.

Went for a cocktail party. The small bites were all delicious, particularly the creamy artichoke ball and a spicy tuna cone. The hotel is beautiful and just unique enough. I have enjoyed every event I have attended here.

Service is impressive. Staff very attentive and proactive. Environment is boutique but very high scale in a funky comfy way. Definitely worth checking out If you want to be pampered.

We attended a Christmas party at Zaza. It was nice… I'm not a fan of valet parking, but that's what you get with a venue like this. I'm sure some people love the hotel, but it's not my style. I wouldn't actively seek to host an event here, but that's just me. Staff was friendly and the building itself was very nice.

Always clean, always fast, and always accommodating. The guys in valet are excellent, I've never felt the need not to trust them (and I'm handing them the keys to expensive, modified, track ready, sports cars). Finally the shuttles they have are the easiest things in the world to use. I've stayed here two years running for MD Anderson treatments and they've done me well. I'll see them again next year.

I've stayed in a lot of five star hotels. But this hotel absolutely takes the cake. This hotel will upgrade your room if better rooms are available. Incredible service. Such unique and wonderful rooms. I highly recommend staying here if you're in Houston.

We had a work event here. The food and service was amazing. The bed and pillows were great for a good nights rest. The elevators are slow for large group events and it is really dark in the hotel, low lighting is part of the theme. The pool side area made for a great reception area. Beautiful! Love the staff here they are so professional and friendly.

Very well located in a museum area. Of the few places you can walk a bit in Houston. Excellent facilities and attention. Very good design. Very pleasant stay.

Checked in very late after trying to find a hotel. Staff was incredibly friendly and the hotel itself was so well put together. My room was spotless with all the amenities I could ask for. Overall one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at for any of my business travel. Perfect spot for any reason.

Work provides accommodations at this hotel when I travel to Houston. The building is very nice, but generally this hotel is extremely overpriced. I would not stay here if I was paying. There are plenty of reasonable priced hotels that are just as clean. And this hotel is right next to a public transportation line so I frequently wake up from the bell which indicates a train is arriving. The best part of staying here is the turn down service which includes Lindt truffles.

We went here following Hurricane Harvey to escape the madness and celebrate our anniversary. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. Nerissa at the front desk was extra helpful and friendly. Great experience overall.

A wonderful property. I love the appearance and look of the place. The interaction I had with the staff was great. I was able to witness a staff mistake was made and it was handled in the most professional and subtle way possible. My only complaint which is really out of their control is the parking situation. Expect to valet.

The staff is excellent, rooms are lovely, service is spot on. We enjoyed the beautiful bathroom with separate soaker tub and shower. The bed and bath linens are first rate, including the robes. The restaurant and bar are equally good. Everything is thoughtfully done with a unique style. The look and feel is decidedly upscale but the friendly, helpful staff makes you feel right at home. The location in the museum district is ideal and they offer transportation in a longhorn fronted suburban! I wish I could live at Hotel ZaZa forever!

The hotel itself is gorgeous — lots of art. We went for a happy hour cocktail event in the terrace area by the restaurant, and was able to get our valet ticket validated (it would have cost ~$15). The lamb lollipops were delicious, very well seasoned. The cocktails (one special and one ginger something) were also very well made. Not too sweet and not too little alcohol. The staff were very friendly everywhere we went.

Absolutely amazing experience. The hotel is fancy. I went there for a banquet hosted by the student council of my college everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious. The taste and the presentation, definitely a 10/10. The décor was marvelous and I would definitely recommend anyone going there. It's the fancy-dancy type of place, and overall just had a great time.
