Horrible service. Horrible stay. Ugly location. Can hear the highway in your room. Seriously overpriced!

Very easy to reserve over the phone best part was delicious breakfast. The rooms were clean. Everything in the room functioned. Great customer service. Definitely would recommend this place.

We love the palm trees. Very nice rooms. A great breakfast bar.

1st impressions were that the property looked great. However, after barely scratching the surface or was easy to tell it was just makeup on pork. The plumbing needs work. The shower bar was hung in the middle of the tub so the curtain was all over me like a girl that's recently been dumped and drank way too much. The room has high ceilings and the a/c unit isn't big enough to cool the room during a Texas summer. It was too hot to sleep in there so I didn't even try the bed but it looked like it had more craters than the moon. I'd try the days inn.

Not sure how this hotel got such good reviews but I'm assuming it's because there's no other option in this area. I travel a lot for work so I should preface this review by saying that, although I've never stayed in what I'd call a "bad" hotel, this is by far the worst. The water fountains don't work in the lobby. Nothing to complain about, so I tried buy a water bottle. The vending machine only took quarters. Again, nothing to complain about, so I thought I'd just get change from the front desk. The front desk didn't have change for a five. This was when it became ridiculous. Long story short, I had to drink tap water from my room. If you plan on working out during your stay, don't bother. The fitness center is in shambles. There's an elliptical, treadmill and bike machine, making it the smallest and most limited fitness center at any hotel I've ever stayed. The elliptical sounds and feels like it's about to fall apart. The treadmill is useless with a torn tread that sticks to the base as you run. The bike machine *works* although the heart rate monitor and other parts are literally hanging off by wires. The room itself was fine and the area and staff are nice (hence 2 stars instead of 1), but I expected better from a franchise like BW — and I don't expect much. It's hard to complain when I'm traveling for work, but it can get frustrating when I can't exercise or get a decent drink of water during my stay.

Room was reasonable but overpriced. Local ameneties were lacking. Staff was polite and professional.

Mikah was as please as they come. And the location is very nice with clean rooms.

The motel is conveniently located off 59, it was clean. I saw alot of people with their barbque pits who appeared to be living there. Free breakfast was gone by 9:00am.

Stay one night at best western El compo tx one night for business. Will stay there when ever I am in the area. Great staff comfortable bads very nice room thank best Western for a great night sleep.

Physical shape of the hotel was fine. I was charged for 4 rooms that I should not have been charged for ($800) on a card that I never gave them. They received my cc info from a different hotel that they own. When calling the hotel they had no record of that payment. I called everyday for one week and left a message for the manager to call me. It took 1 week to speak to a manager. In order to get the money back, I had to file fraudulent charges with my bank. Horrible customer service with this hotel. I understand things happen, but no effort was set forth to fix the mistake.

Rooms are nice, large with a couch. Bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke. Parking can get filled without a space left to park. Staff is friendly, motel is easily accessible from highway.

We arrived early on March 24. Our room was ready and your friendly staff made check in a breeze. When she said was on the second floor I said oh I did not think to ask about a first floor so I didn't have to climb stairs. She apologized that she didn't have a first floor available. We made it fine. When we checked out she again apologized for not having a first floor room and hoped we were okay. The issue was not her or the hotel's problem at all We should have requested a first floor because of my mobility issues. Everything worked out and we had a very clean spacious room with a very comfortable bed for our stay. We would highly suggest staying at the Best Western Executive Inn when you need a clean spacious comfortable room with a comfortable bed along with a hot delicious breakfast.

Great customer service. The room was well decorated. Refrigerator and microwave in the room. You have your options of rooms for non-smoking or smoking. Right next to the highway, so it's easy to get to.

Room was a huge room. Very clean and staff was so nice. I would definitely stay there again.

Hotel is always booked over the weekend. Best hotel in the area. A little pricey but nice large rooms. Quiet area adjacent to the highway.

The hotel has been renovated and was comfortable. The bathtub was slippery and had no handrail. There was a smell of mold in the bathroom but it all looked very clean.

Service is great but ac is load and too much lighing coming from outside through curtains and from under the door.

Nice, comfortable rooms. The only hiccup was the room was not ready when I arrived about 3:30, but it was ready not long after. Not a big deal really. The bed was comfortable, big plus. Overall it was an enjoyable stay at the hotel.

I spent the whole weekend here in El Campo the best western is the place too stay and relax very big nice rooms!

Overall I give Best Western Executive Inn in El Campo, Texas a 4 star rating. It was a pleasant stay and breakfast was very good. I loved the Texas shaped waffles, but being originally from Texas I would. I was there for a Benefit for my daughter, so I stayed 4 nights, 3 days… it was nice! The cleaning staff was pleasant and very helpful if you needed anything extra.

We came to south Texas 3 times year to see the kids and grandkid
And all ways stay here on our way down.

Our stay in El Campo was a great one! As small as El Campo is, this place looks like something you'd see in Palm Beach, FL. It's beautiful, clean, friendly and right near the highway. The rooms are big; we had a double queen, and our three month old slept in one whole bed, which he loved. There was no funky or stale room odors, very refreshing. The breakfast is really mind blowing. Good coffee. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here, very pleasant. Thank you all! And great job!

We made reservation 1 month in advance and when we arrived for my cousin Clint Titzman's wedding we were told that all they had were smoking rooms. This should never have happened.
They over-booked rooms and I was afraid this was going to happen because I knew alot of people were going to this wedding and thats why I booked ahead of time.
This Best Western called me a week before we were to arrive and asked if we needed a room with both beds.
I told them yes thats why I reserved this 2 queen bed non-smoking room. We all they said when I arrived was they had smoking rooms available only.
My Aunt gave us one of her rooms and made arrangements for her son to stay in their room
This NEVER should have happened. I was so upset I almost went back home to San Antonio without seeing my cousins get married.
Very dissatisfied! I will tell everyone I know about this hotels bad business practices. We were not offered any free night stays or and other accommodations or anything.

The Best Western El Campo was started and is run by the Desai Family; who do a splendid job of keeping the place clean, orderly, and modernized. We have been staying with Sonny Desai since the beginning, and are grateful to have such a neat place to stay while in Wharton County. Sonny is there daily and is a "hands-on" manager, inspecting maids cleaning jobs, etc. … If the B-W is full, sonny has another brand hotel at the next exit East, also very well-kept. This place is convenient to US 59, restaurants, gas stations, and is only 3 or 5 minutes from a large HEB Grocery, downtown businesses, and the City's nicer restaurants on Mechanic Street, Old 59, or "the West "Loop". We are here frequently and are familiar with competitors; so we recommend this place without hesitation! This is the best of what is available, by far. Thanks, Sonny Rick Fremaux, MD
