Never stay there. No cameras in parking lot. Your truck will be broken into. The police said they are here all the time. Burglary, catalytic converters, domestic violence and human trafficking.

Be sure to look in your coffee maker we found mold all inside the coffee maker before my husband poured water into it I have stayed there several times I have come across fights and noise in the hall at 3 AM waking up to people with the police all around them due to people breaking into cars in the parking lot on several of my stays I’ve heard the reports of the thefts there are also a lot of bums in the area begging for money it has a real unsafe environment and needs to improve on its cleanliness!

Every visit has been a great experience for me and I've stayed here for the last 3 years… today I was upgraded to a very nice suite… I will continue to make this location my number one choice.

Although it is a nice hotel, I saw tons of red flags. They do not enforce mask wearing, people in the lobby were without masks even checking in without masks on. Guests were walking barefoot in the lobby. Lastly, there was a ton of dog poop outside on the premises. I really wanted to like our stay but it was hard to overlook these things. The room was nice, modern and clean but most def on the small side. My family will not be staying here unless they can improve and enforce proper safety protocols.

We stayed in this hotel during hurricane evacuation for one night because it was gross and we didn’t feel safe. We decided to load up all our stuff and all our kids again (evacuated) and move hotels. We were pretty disgusted at the rooms. Our room had dog food on the floor (we didn’t have a dog in our room), Cheetos or maybe Doritos on the blanket, and some kind of nasty black thing stuck on the blanket. In my parents room, room, there was hair everywhere, my sister dropped her razor in the shower and had to throw it away because of a long black hair attached to it. There was dry dog poo that my 3 year old nephew picked up and might have put in his mouth? There was a gusher candy he picked up. Also a dogs dirty tennis ball was in their room. I just feel like we paid for a nice hotel and cleaning fee that was not clean and made us feel really nasty. When leaving (because all of this didn’t happen at once! I didn’t inspect the room when we got there) I told the girl at the front desk (different from the one who checked us in and I spoke to on the phone) about everything that happened. She was very nice and handed me a card and explained that if I just email the hotel and Nathaniel the manager that obviously is never available… that they would certainly have this fixed. So I sat down at the next hotel and typed up my msg. No response.

I stayed here back in November 2019, and the staff was amazing, especially Chance. But this last visit on June 18-20, it seems like they have an entirely new staff. Most of them are nice but I feel that they were more interested in talking with their friends who are loitering around or more focused on their phones. One employee, Arian (night front desk) was straight up RUDE. How dare I ask her a simple question when she is texting on her phone? And how dare I bother her with a simple request to open the front door so I could leave. I probably will not be staying at this location again due to the less than enthusiastic staff. Being a Hyatt Rewards member I always get a survey from them… somehow this visit, I didn't. Hmmmm?

Internet is unacceptably slow. Video can only play at 144p. When McDonald's beats out your internet, you're doing it wrong.

Went to this location to stay the night (obviously) when we arrived we found out the amenities we came for were somewhat skewed from what the site said. So we checked out as soon as we got there and got another hotel. I was told to contact the manager directly for a refund. No biggie, that makes sense. When I did so the manager was extremely combative and nasty. He even said I was lying and said "sorry you misunderstood" the website. He refused to refund me for a room we never stayed in. Corporate insisted they'd be refunding me. Over a month later still no refund. They said they processed it back to Expedia. Who has nothing processing for me. So the company straight up is just running me in circles. Over 130 dollars. Dont waste your time, go to the hilton garden inn in katy, it was awesome!

Not what expect froma hyatt family hotel! they dont have enough staff tou have to keep going down to get stuff u need extra towels etc the breakfast is horrible Holiday Inn is wayyy better they dont provide basic toiletries shower gel or shower cap are standards hotel is not cosy staff are not helpful … wont be coming back ever! … on the plus rooms are clean but theey forget to replace towels needed tou have to go dowstairs to pick up what you want as hotel is only few months old.

Beautiful hotel! Keegan (the Gallery Host) was amazing. He gave us a tour of the hotel and the amenities including the swimming pool, and 24 — hour fitness center! This is definitely the best hotel in Katy. From the premier location, to the outstanding employees, Hyatt Place Katy is the way to go.

Good clean hotel and the bar area was great for that hotel size. The location could be closer to the action but it was fine. Right by highway.

Optimist here. Our first room had mold which makes sense since Houston is very humid. It took a little while to move us to a new room, but the new room is great. As for the location that is pretty great too can't go wrong with being near almost everything you want to find in Katy.

Good breakfast. Comfy beds. But restroom had poor drainage. We stayed for 5 nights. We brought it up with MGMT several times, but issue was not fixed during our stay.

Great value, excellent experience. The front desk check in had minor difficulties — room not ready — but was handled extremely well. The entire staff was exceptional, starting with Kaitlin at the front desk and extending through the cleaning staff. Highly recommended!

Not quite as good as many Hyatt Place locations. I stay in 10-20 a year or so. Property is very nice and price value is great. Service just off a little bit.

Very nice hotel with nice staff. They definitely need more drink selections, but overall it was an okay stay. The room was clean, neat, organized, and designed properly. I would recommend the stay.

Good service and cleanliness, but there is no microwave in the rooms, and the breakfast have not much variety.

Hotel is located in a really nice area and they have security that regularly patrol the grounds. Everything inside is very clean and orderly. The free breakfast is awesome. Tons to choose from, and actually tastes good. I even eat the eggs which never happens at hotel buffets. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. We have stayed several times throughout the past year and their are many familiar faces within the staff, including front desk and housekeeping. If you like your room to be extra dark at night and in the morning hours ask for a room facing the back or facing the pool. The blinds they have are so good, it is pitch black with both of them closed and light off, even in the daytime. The AC gets down to some arctic temps if needed which I love. I am a very light sleeper and can never sleep at hotels because I will hear every little noise, but, this is not a problem here. On the temp control panel just switch the fan to ON and then to HIGH. It blocks out all outside noise. The beds are really comfy and they give you a nice selection of pillows and blankets. If you get hungry late at night have the kitchen make you one of their quesadillas. Amazing.

Hyatt Place Houston/Katy is a very entertaining for social gatherings as much as professionals.

From check-in to check-out the service at this hotel was outstanding. The staff is very friendly, courteous, and does what they can to meet your needs. The rooms are very modern and spacious and the layout of the bathroom is very nice. This is a new property so the condition is very nice with lots of modern conveniences. Some of the modern conveniences include plenty of outlets by the bed and HDMI connections on the TV to hook up portable devices. The limited room service available is fairly decent providing high-quality microwavable meals. The fitness center has all the necessary equipment to get a good workout. The fitness center looks out towards the pool so if you are a family traveling with children you could have them play around in the pool while watching them from the gym; which also has an entrance and exit to the pool area. If you have business or family in Katy, Texas this is a great place and at a very reasonable price. If your travels bring you to Houston and don’t mind fighting the 30 to 45 minute traffic time that takes to get to downtown Houston this would also be a great alternative to some of the more expensive hotels located near and around the center of downtown Houston. Outstanding hotel for the price.

I enjoyed my work-related stay here. The front desk staff was helpful, the rooms were large and clean and the hotel was centrally located in a certified food Mecca. The only concern I had was the limited breakfast options offered. On any given day, all that was offered was either waffles, scrambled eggs or pork bacon/sausage, cold cereal, toast or oatmeal. I was surprised that they offered almond milk. However, having turkey breakfast meat options would have been nice.

Over all very positive experience. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good and reasonably priced food. Pros and cons: + Pleasantly surprised to find out that they had a security guard on duty in the parking lot at night. + Also something I found extremely helpful was that I was able to connect my laptop to the TV in the room (via VGA), and the TV mount moved enough where I could position it towards the desk, which was fantastic for work. + Heated pool + Breakfast buffet items rotate on a weekly schedule — Breakfast buffet ends at 9:30, if you get there after 9 and something runs out they don't restock so best to be there around 8:30 or earlier. -Night staff was somewhat uneducated about hotel policies (wouldn't let me request a microwave in my room, had to do it the next day).

Room size larger than most, very well priced and good friendly service, very new rooms only about a year old, perfect hotel no complaints at all!

Very nice with room size larger than average. Bathroom very nice but don't like the sliding glass door. Heater A/C unit very noisy. Staff very friendly and helpful.

They required a 500.00 cash deposit, a credit card and then said our voucher # was already being used. We returned twice to straighten it up to no avail. They were very rude from management down. A week later we found that they charged us $155.00 for a broken reservation. We didn't break our reservation and our voucher worked fine at another establishment. And they have not returned our call so we can get the 155.00 back.

This is a nice and neat place, hygiene is observed, convenient location, free internet, free breakfast, free parking, small gym, and outside heated pool. All with reasonable prices and very professional staff. I am giving them 4 stars because I was given a room right beside a huge AC external unit that was making a loud noise. Though, they changed the room after they made sure they can resell it! Something should be done about the location of that AC unit.

Our first night, we pulled the blankets back to get in bed & there was what appeared to be a big stain of dry blood. So we took it off the bed & informed one of the housekeepers she told us she would change it out bc even though they are supposed to they don’t change them everyday… final day before checkout, I️ pulled a Kleenex from the box in the bathroom which was the last one left & in the bottom of the box was a used tampon … I️ promise I️ cannot make this up. I️ was very disappointed bc apart from that all staff was extremely nice & the breakfast & breakfast attendants were awesome each morning. It’s just not a very sanitary place. With a change in housekeeping I️ do believe this place to be a 4 star hotel but for us if I️ could give a negative star for this trip I️ would.

Very courteous and professional staff. Premises and room were both clean. Room was very spacious with doors separating bedroom, bathroom and main area for people staying with kids, etc. Prices were competitive for the room size. Location is close to a variety of dining options. There's a gym and pool as well.

The hotel staff and rooms were pretty nice. The bathroom had a sliding door that didn't move freely and didn't lock, so that was something I didn't like very much. Also, house keeping came in and we let them change sheets and straighten up while we were getting dressed and for whatever reason their manager came in and started scolding them right in front of me which I didn't think was professional at all.

I love the decor of the hotel. Even with a renovation going on, non of the construction has been a nuisance. The staff has been wonderful and very helpful. Have several other staff staying in the hotel and have not heard one complaint. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. Close to a lot of shopping and restaurants. I would stay again definitely.

Stayed here as a part of relief work we were doing in the Houston/Katy area. They were kind at check-in even though it was overwhelming for them to have a big group. The rooms feel very luxurious and they are very clean. It is partly under construction so we had plastic and tape in a few places but nothing cumbersome.

Customer service and facility was great, however the GM needs more training billing they charged my car for a room that I never used. I was told by the GM that I wasn't able to receive a copy of my receipt due to a third party was covering the charge. My company had to call and instruct the GM to provide me a copy of the receipt. They charged my company card as well as my personal card for our hotel stay. This had been a nightmare on top of the storm.

Newer place. Excellent breakfast and good customer service. Wished the wireless were faster but most hotels are like that.

Gets three checks from me. Economical, comfortable and good breakfast. A super friendly staff and gorgeous rooms are just icing in the cake. Highly recommended.

The room was nice and the location was convenient for us, but don't even consider eating here. They don't have room service and when you go down to pickup your food you will be terribly disappointed in just what your money got you. The menu makes the items sound fancy, when in fact they are just basic sandwich, tortilla wraps and soups. I also didnt care for the bed — too soft and gave me back pain. Beyond that the free Wi-Fi is a must and free breakfast was decent. Probably wouldn't stay here again though just on account of the mattresses not agreeing with me.

The Hotel itself was very nice and clean. We had a double room and it was very clean and spacious. It has a pull out sofa, which the comfortability was not complained about. No complaints on the room. The staff was great, this includes housekeeping. I received a 2 hour early check in extension, which this hotel DOES NOT accommodate so don't be early; check in time is 3 pm. The hotel has a large parking lot and we had several vehicles parked. One vehicle was left in the back parking lot and the other 3 vehicles were parked at the front and side. The vehicle in the back parking lot got broken into. The officer that filled out the complaint had never had any incidents such as that at this location, so maybe it was just a fluke. Just be warned about the back parking area, try to park in front by the road or park on the side where the main lobby/office is located. Other than those 2 issues, we had a nice stay.

My son went up to the bar in the morning after breakfast was closed and asked for a glass of water and was told they only had bottled water and were shown the water fountain around the corner. It would've been just as easy to get them a glass of water. Was not the kind of customer service I would have expected from the Hyatt brand. I have stayed at this location twice now and both visits have been great. The hotel in very clean both in the common areas and the rooms. The King size bed was very comfortable and the room was spotless. The bathroom was also very clean. You could have told me I was the first person to use that room. The staff has always been very helpful and nice. I forgot my computer charger during my first visit and they had it mailed to me a short time later. I did not use the pool or gym so I cannot comment on those areas. The breakfast is a few steps above any other hotel chain in this price range. They also offer Seattle's Best coffee and the USA Today and Wall Street Journal.

Always so gorgeous and comfortable, breakfast is ok but other than that the staff always takes care of us and we feel very valued here.

I am leaving her voice messages everyday to call me back. Still no reply. I even spoke with the front desk gave them all the information again on Thursday they said someone will call me back still waiting for a call back. Seems like Corporate is making too much money that's why the employees don't care about the business. I wanted to give them over $10, 000.00 of business in one week. I will take my business some place else. Thank You (NOT)

From my 5th floor room I could see for miles. This is a clean and newly opened hotel. Friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and modern. Free Buffet breakfast has variety of hot and cold food. Walking distance to restaurants.

Beautiful hotel, the rooms were very nice, and the staff very friendly. Was honored to be a speaker at a social event there. They have a lot to offer as a hotel and as a place to reserve for functions. So glad they are in our community.

Everything was great, ALMOST perfect. Its a new Hotel that is very nicely done, huge lobby with tvs, computers a big desk and a small bar. The young man at the front counter checked me in quickly and was super nice. The room was the exact size we needed, 2 beds and a sleeper sofa that were SO comfortable. The sheets and pillows were amazing. Breakfast was what you would expect from a nice hotel, cereal, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, small donuts, small muffins, small pancakes, coffee and juices. THE ONLY THING, (which could have been prevented by us guests and the person at the front desk) was that the front desk accidentally gave another guest the same room AND KEY to our room, and the other guest walked into our room during the night. But I also did not bother to use the extra lock that does not let the door open even with the key. They guy was spooked as much as we were when we started shouting at him to let him know the room was occupied. He apologized as he ran out of the room. Other than that I will be staying there again but making sure I use every lock on the door from now on LOL!

Staff was friendly. Very nice and clean. Room was spacious with a comfortable bed. Breakfast buffets were good with a variety of foods… only one issue, I wish the shower had more water pressure. Will definitely stay there again.
