The staff was perfect. Room was great. Only the elevator didn't seem to be up to the class of the rest of the building. Will stay here again.

Lobby clean and pleasant. Check-in was quick with an online booking. Room was clean, but noted that the headboards could use a good wipedown. TV was on the small side, and volume capped. Nice place to spend a night if all you need is a bed and a bath.

The staff are friendly, quite, good location and very clean.

The staff are all friendly & accommodating. The breakfast is excellent. The beds are horribly hard. I think the floor would have been more comfortable. The carpets are in rough shape. Seems a lot of wear & tear for such a new hotel. The smell when I first walked in was that of a dirty nursing home and my first room was not cleaned but the sweet young lady at the front desk was quick & polite to change my room. Giving a 3 star just because of the kind staff.

Piss poor water pressure. No anti slip or bars in the tub. So, be careful. Shower head is too damn high. So, if you're short you may have to request a ladder. Cold eggs and bacon for breakfast. Yuck! Freidndly staff and nice rooms.

I feel very safe in this hotel, and feel confident in its cleanliness. The staff has been nothing but friendly to me. I'm here visiting my husband, and the hotel is conveniently located to all the places we want to go.

For one, key cards automatically deactivate after 7 days regardless of how long you're staying. This is very frustrating when you're staying for several weeks and you return to your room with a load of groceries only to have to return to the front desk because you are locked out. Second issue is with the rear door. It's obvious that it hasn't been working for quite a while, given the note that says it's not working but how long does it take to get it fixed? The TV is really small relative to the size of the room. I've got PC monitors at home that are roughly the same size. Other than that, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The staff is friendly and the location is perfect.

Very friendly service and awesome breakfast.

Room is what you expect for the price. You get a full size fridge, sink, dishes, and a stove. The room was clean but you can tell there was not a lot of attention to detail, i. E. Sticky floors, inside of the shower curtain was not as clean as it could be. One plus was the free breakfast, to include eggs, waffles, cereals. Overall a decent room for the price.

The customer service was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. I woke up too late for breakfast but I went into the breakfast room to get some ice and it looked like there had been a good selection for breakfast. All the typical things you find at a standard continental breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was NOT clean! Dirty toilet, dirty microwave, dirty wash rags. No coffee, juice, water or forks at 7:15 am for breakfast. Never again!

This place is hugely disappointing. Hallways are full of French fries and potatoes chips on the floor. The heater in my room does not work. Using the stove to heat the room. One step above camping. Should've stayed at the Residence Inn like I always do.

Will never stay here again. We even gave them 3 tries! First time we stay there was a horrible storm and water was pouring in over the front desk, entrance and even our window in our room. We were not compensated at all. The breakfast was sad. And we saw employees just sitting around, legs propped up, playing on their phones! Second time we stayed again we saw employees playing on their phones. Our room appeared to be clean but with a closer inspection nope not so clean. Someone did a half ass job. Then we finally get our grandson asleep and there are teenagers running around above us waking him up. I told the service desk 3 times had to listen to them running around until 4am! Again the breakfast was a joke! The eggs are nasty and dry, bacon was undercooked, but the coffee was ok at least. Third trip was bad. The first room they sent us too didn’t have any electricity. The second room again appeared to be clean until you get that closer look. The coffee pot was missing it’s lid and had not been cleaned. On the mirror in the bathroom we saw toothpaste and hair. There was all kinds of grossness on the chair too. Again employees were just sitting around with their legs propped up playing on their phones. The elevator was even dirty. The breakfast really needs help. They ought to be embarrassed. When I told the front desk clerk she was “oh, sorry we will get that fixed”. But never offered to compensate us.

Stayed in a Hawthorne in Sacramento and absolutely loved it so I figured this location would hold up to the same scrutiny. Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed. The rooms were decent but the stoves were a bit run down and wouldnt work properly. The fitness area was depressing as the only treadmill was out of service, and the 30 lb dumbbells were missing and overall signs of neglect were apparent. The breakfast was another miss, I'm vegan so I dont typically count on hotel breakfasts, but to not provide fruit at the very least? The same 2 apples and old orange was there most of the week. Also, why do you have to mix the potatoes in with the eggs and meat? Would have been nice to at separate for those who dont eat meat or eggs. Overall, I would have rather tried to find an extended stay or paid slightly more for the Candlewood suites but I had high expectations given my previous experience with Hawthornes by Wyndham. Staff was very nice and courteous.

Very nice clean rooms and very nice staff the only thing was a used coffee filter with old coffee in it was still in coffee maker.

It fits the bill for an overnight stay. Clean and reasonably new. Nothing overly impressive, but it was quiet and priced appropriately.

Had reservation for walk in shower handicap access. They gave the room to someone else. So my mother was not able to shower 3 night stay for her granddaughter s wedding. Very disappointing.

This hotel is located in a great area of San Angelo. Close to numerous shopping and quality dining venus. Not forgetting to mention a quick trip away from historic Downtown. The hotel itself appears to be very well maintained and the dining staff is friendly and inviting.

Very friendly young woman Taylor at the front desk she was very pleasant and helpful. The motel is very clean and modern looking. We had a king with a kitchenette. Very nice and clean. The pillows could be more comfortable and the TV was pretty small with not alot of channels are my only complaint but not enough from keeping me from coming back.

The rooms were immaculate. Very clean and modern looking for the price. Hotel staff very courteous and politw.

Quiet and comfortable rooms. Very friendly staff in a very average hotel. The in-room conditions were clean and comfortable. Common areas such as hallways were a bit more dingy with prominent carpet stains. Somewhat disappointed there isn't a pool. Complimentary water and coffee all day is a plus.

Hotel itself is beautiful and clean, breakfast is great; however, very unhappy with the customer service. I was given a room that would not lock. When I asked if it could be fixed or if the key card/lock needed to be re-programmed the staff said no one was available to fix it and there were no other rooms for me to move to (which I later found out was not true) I had many valuable belongings both in monetary value and some essential to the wedding I was a part of and in town for. I had to haul everything back to my vehicle in order to have some peace of mind being that the staff's best answer to me leaving my belongings unlocked and not secure was "it's ok, we have cameras your things will be fine. " I could not stay and attempt to reason with staff as I needed to be at various wedding activities. Unfortunately the lack of customer service continued the whole weekend and ultimately, I paid for a weekend of worry and discomfort leaving items in both the room and my vehicle. Two weeks later, the general manager offered me a "compensation" of a 20% off your next visit voucher for the same hotel. Unfortunately, I live in California and San Angelo isn't a place I have family or one that I would ever have a need to return to. I asked for a discount that could be applied to what I paid, not some future discount, and have yet to receive a response or resolution. Beautiful hotel but I do caution booking here as in the event something goes wrong, staff will not be held accountable.

Everything about the rooms were great. The accent wall and the entire fridge was nice. Definitely pretty great.

Nice hotel, free Wi-Fi, hot breakfast… but no pool. Very close to stores, strip malls, and gas stations.

An absolutely stunning lobby, the staff was very friendly and hospitable, and the room was immaculate. I stay in hotels everyday and this one made a very good case for my favorite hotel.
