Hotel is way out there and what you would expect for a best value inn.

Last night we had the best time at our stay in this motel, nice, clean room and comfortable beds, breakfast was really good, and fresh, Chance to speak to new owners, he seems to be highly energetic to get service better. I wish good luck to him.

Awesome and clean rooms, friendly staff and good service. Convinently located on highway and best food next door.

The manager is very funny and friendly. Washer and dryer units, clean and quaint rooms. Very quiet and right next to a cafe. I will be returning.

Used to be really nice but seems to have alot going on there these days.

Receptionist very friendly and helpful. Room was much higher priced than shown on line.

Restaurant was clean, pricing was fair. Employees were all nice and well spoken. Good breakfast!

HORRIBLE! Both of our rooms were so hot that we were miserable all night long. ACs should be left on at all times in the heat of summer. They are left off to be turned on when you show up, takes all night to start cooling down.

The people at the front desk were pretty nice. But, the free breakfast was terrible. The waffles weren't even cooked all the way, even from having them cook for almost 10 minutes. The apple juice smelled like shampoo, and tasted like it too. The pool was not even cold. It was really warm, and dirty. The rooms spotless of dirtiness, but people drew in the drawers and some in the bathroom, too. Overall, this place was ok, but I will not have the breakfast there again.

Great service, didn't get to swim in the pool though because the night office person told us it wasn't open when it was supposed to be open until 9, we arrived at 7:30. My only complaint.

After staying here a while ago in 2016 and dealing with fleas and being moved to another room to see a bed bug which could've came from a previous traveler whom had just left. My husband and I were moved to another room to better to accommodate us and got to wash all our things for free. The problem was fix immediately thanks to the older gentleman which I believe is the owner. Over that now but, a year later now 2017 it seems to have gotten worse. I thought sense its been a year I should give them a try but this time I had my month old baby and when I say horrible I mean horrible and when I asked my husband to tell them we need to move to another room we were told to wait until the next day. If your reading the other reviews and there saying this was a awesome place to stay they are more then likely lying or were placed in a better room then we were. I know it's a small town but I feel the price shouldn't be so much for a crappy room. I wasn't going to write this review but I feel like I need to warn travelers especially the ones with children. Just to give a little more insight my husband and I usually stay in this small town and in these hotels for sometimes a few months at a time.

Room was clean, bed was comfy, the shower was nice and if you like a cold room the a. C. Will do it.

I booked this hotel because of the good reviews, but I now see that they were either not true, or I just got the short end of the stick. There are so many problems with the room we got. The AC BARELY worked, blowing only slightly cool air, not enough to cool a room. The carpet is disgusting, stains everywhere. The sheets had obviously not been washed and were haphazardly thrown on the bed and the comforter put on top to hide their laziness. There is also dust and spiderwebs EVERYWHERE. TV barely works, the picture is so fuzzy you can barely make out what's on screen. The only upside is that there are no bedbugs & the bed is decent. Would not book again.

My mom & I stayed several nights in one of the handicap accessible rooms. We were very comfortable. Friendly, very accommodating, knowledgeable staff. The rooms are a great value! We will stay here again.

I am one for reading reviews they help me decide on my selections. I give Best Value in Rockdale Texas 5 stars. 1. For cleanliness thats very important! Room clean, towels clean, floor clean, non smoking room was just that, no musky stale ordors! 2. Polite, curtious professional front desk employee, I asked for decaf coffee, extra towels. Immediately I had them. 3. Ease of booking room, awesome! 4. Continental breakfast! On time n hot! 5. Outside hotel extremely clean n well kept and in good location so 18 wheelers and motorcycles can park! 6. In safe area and is quiet. I highly recommend this motel, I would stay again! Thank you for keeping it clean!

The chair in the room was stained and the cushion was upside down. The breakfast was not great and the staff, while nice, was not very attentive. They were however willing to jump us off when we were having battery issues. Overall they were a cheap place to sleep but you get what you pay for.

Awesome service, clean rooms and the breakfast was above average.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast, and very reasonably priced for three adults.
