Ask for Tom or Donald the GM. Both of these men are Veterans and maintain a high standard there. They will take care of you and this is the best hotel in Rockdale. I think Tom was a U. S. Army Airborne / Air Assult Ranger with the 2nd Ranger Battalion out of Benning. "Home of the Infantry. " The most kind hearted / get er done / combat effective / Family man who if you are elderly… he has a first floor room saved for ya. Cheers folks.

Staff was borderline rude and seemed to profile me because of the clothes I was wearing. I work in Information Technologies for Microsoft, so seldom do I dress outside of a hoodie and joggers, because I simply don't have to… The breakfast was scant, and the room had a slightly odd smell. That being said — I travel a lot and like to save money, so I often use lower-star motels: this definitely wasn't bad and got the job done. The beds are massive, there's a fitness center, washer and dryer (which is oddly hard to find in motels these days…), and most of all quiet. It could've been better, but definitely afforded me a refreshing night's sleep.

The place was clean but the beds were terrible. We were 3 adults so we had to use the sofa bed which was awful. I know they’re never great but this mattress was stained and there were crumbs and hair ties in the bed. So I asked for a mattress pad which they gave me — though it was way too big it worked — along with an additional blanket which I put over the mattress pad and under the sheet. The worst part was when checking out I told the desk clerk about this and that they should invest in mattress pads for the sofa beds. She could not have cared less that the mattress was gross. She just kept giving me excuses why they don’t have mattress pads for the sofa beds. Also had to ask for more towels. It was clear in my reservation that we were 3 adults and we only had towels for 2. I had nothing but coffee for breakfast because breakfast was nothing but carbs. But I guess that’s a continental breakfast so I’m not complaining, just be prepared. Oh! There was breakfast sausage, gravy and biscuits if you like that. I don’t.

After my second stay things improved. Manager is very accommodating about changing rooms and actually let us check in two hours early.

We stay here every time we visit Rockdale… clean rooms, quiet, decent breakfast, polite staff, and prices are competitive for the area. Definitely recommend…

Nice hotel and great people at front desk my room was very clean and spacious the breakfast is better than most I will be staying here when I come back into the area.

Great staff, comfy beds, pet friendly. No carpet in the floor — I mention that because for us it meant the dogs slept on the beds… Should have brought their blankets in!

I really did enjoyed my stay. Erica was friendly, and all the people there was very helpful and friendly. John help us with our suitcases, without been asked. When we got there. When I come to Rockdale again. I will stay there. Room was clean, smell clean. The breakfast was good, needed to have bacon, and they had wheat bread. The reason, I said wheat bread because I went to a hotel about a week ago and they did not have wheat bread. I am trying to eat healthy. Thank you!

This place is TERRIBLE. They have used that sprinkle on carpet deodorizer that smells to high heaven. They wouldn't have to use something that strong if they would CLEAN the carpet. There are stains all over the carpet and the bedskirts. I have a cold, and my husband has serious allergies. The front desk said they use it everywhere, but also said they couldn't move us anyway as they are booked. However, it's currently 7:41 pm, and the parking lot is almost empty.

The stay started out okay, the man at the desk Donald (Don) was nice. It wasn't until the next morning when we woke up that we noticed there were bed bugs in the bed. I could deal with everything else about that place but that was just disgusting!

Negatives: Hallways smelled musty and they never vaccuumed them so they were covered in bugs. There was also some kind of plaster on the floor that was never vacuumed up and we were here for four days. You had to literally wait ten minutes at least for the water to warm up, not being dramatic either, literally ten minutes. When we arrived we walked into our room and there was someone in there so they had to give us a new one. They also had to reset our key cards the next day because they stopped working randomly. Positives: staff was very friendly and they have a decent breakfast.

Hot water is poor if u stay towards the end. Some ac units are poor. Internet is most of the time not working. People are ok except manager.

Stayed there for 5 days. Front desk was nice. Clean facility. Two story hotel with no elevators, now thats just plain ignorant from the architectic team or whoever thought of that. Breakfast good with fresh cooked eggs, biscuits and gravy, cereals, toast, coffee, juices very pleased with that. Nice looking pool. Rooms nice with flat screen TVs. Overall was a nice pleasent stay would stay there again. Even a caveman could stay there.

Appearance wise the hotel looked great but I believe this was only because it was so new. Things went down hill right off the bat. We stayed for 3 days so to tell the whole story would take forever, so i'll just hit the high points. Day 1: Unfriendly night manager named Patricia would not allow us to have extra towels or blankets. When we came back from a concert late that night she complained about how late we were coming in. I didn't think this was any of her business what so ever. Day 2: The Manager of the hotel, named Donald, came to our room and complained that we were smoking in our room. We invited him in and told him that we were not smoking. He refused to come in and stormed off. We left for another concert a few hours later and we returned at 4am to find that our keys were disabled. Patricia the night manager was working again and she started yelling at us calling us "crazies" and that we couldn't stay at the hotel anymore. Knowing this woman was not right in the head we agreed to leave. However a few moments later she had another episode and now claimed we couldn't gather our belongings until the police arrived. Police?!?! The police show up and he also thinks Patricia is being histerical but he simply asks us to gather our stuff so this doesn't snow ball into something else. As we checkout we notice Patricia tried to slip a $150 extra charge on our bill. We decide to deal with it later.
