Pros: Good price. Close to beach. Staff is friendly. Cons: Breakfast consists of waffles, cereal, apples, and various pastries, but no eggs or other meats. Sheets were dirty. No towels stocked in room. Tv. Remote. Didn't work right. A/C was broken. I've stayed at the Ramada Inn before, and usually it's a decent place to stay. But this time I was disappointed. When I walked in the room, the first thing I noticed was that there was a big red (blood or wine? ) stain on the sheets. When I lifted the sheet, I saw that the stain had soaked through the next two sheets as well. This indicates that the sheets were not clean and probably had not been changed after the last guest. Another problem we experienced was that the room had no towels stocked. Also, the remote wasn't really working. Some of the buttons, including the channel up button, weren't working. And finally, the A/C was not working. Because we got in so late, we didn't bother to call the front desk to tell them all the problems. We just went straight to bed. The next morning, after breakfast, we spoke to the front desk and told them the problems. He wrote down our room and said he would take care of it. When we came home that night, we found that the sheets had been replaced and the towels restocked. But the A/C still hadn't been fixed. So we had to call the front desk and tell them for the second time that the A/C wasn't working. About 1 1/2 hrs later, maintenance shows up, unscrews the A/C from the wall, and installs one that works. The remote was never replaced. Overall, I was not satisfied with my stay this time because of all the problems with our room. The staff was courteous, and the room was nice. But they lose 1 star for all the problems with the room, and another star because I had to ask twice for them to do something about the A/C. 3/5 stars.
