Reviews of Motel 6-Brownsville, TX 2*
This hotel is great. The employees, the maintenance people, and the managers are all wonderful helpful people. Whatever was broken in my room, they came within 5 minutes and helped take care of it. There was a mix up with my stay and the manager and employees fixed it and even apologized and were extremely polite. I have to say that I am very thankful and appreciative that they helped so much. I have enjoyed my stay very much.
Motel 6 Brownsville north is better then you would expect from a Motel 6. The place is kept clean and the staff is AMAZING! They will do as much as they possibly can to make it the best possible stay for their guests. The pizza place next door is fantastic also!

Stayed here for 13 nights. I had made my reservation over the phone through the central reservation office. I specifically requested a kitchenette room but, when I got to the motel, the staff told me that the quote I had been given was for a regular room. If I wanted the kitchenette then I needed to pay more but, as I had already planned my trip according to the original quote, having to pay more was a problem. I called central reservations to try to find a solution and spoke to someone named Brittany. Brittany warned me that they record all phone calls. They would need to go back and listen to my original call, to make sure that I really had really requested the kitchenette room — not, she added, that they were saying I was lying… What exactly was she saying then? Anyway, I was ok with that and started to tell her which phone call they needed to listen to as I had called twice. She quite rudely cut me off and said something like — you don't have to tell me that. Well, up until this I had kept my cool but, after having driven five hours, I was exhausted. When you pay to stay at a hotel/motel, other than just receiving a room for your money, you expect to be treated with basic courtesy. Having this Brittany first warn me and then cut me off was too much. I expressed myself. That is all. The conversation ended with Brittany telling me to call back tomorrow — and here's when things turned good.
