My husband and I just had the most horrible experience I’ve ever had at any hotel. We made a reservation with TownPlace Suites in Killeen, Texas a week in advance. After driving 14 hours and checking in at 4:00 pm, we were given a room that had a cheaper rate than what we booked. When we asked for the room we reserved, the front desk clerk informed us that they had no rooms available and there was nothing she could do. Did I mention we drove 14 hours?! After spending 20 minutes going back and forth asking for a refund, we were told it would take 1-2 days for the funds to be refunded back to our account when it took only seconds for them to take it! We then proceeded to go to the local Fairfield Inn and Suites where we were told the general manager called and told them not to give us a reservation because of a “disturbance”. Since when is asking for what you paid for a disturbance? We were clearly discriminated against and have filed a formal complaint. The customer service was horrible. I will NEVER stay there nor recommend this hotel EVER again.

This is the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. It is the friendliest and most helpful staff. The room is designed well to keep space at a premium — we are using it for an extended time and to see the care and work the staff put in to maintaining the hotel over time is so impressive. I can't recommend highly enough. It is a perfect, family-friendly, pet friendly, convenient and thoughtful place to stay,

We stayed almost 2 months due to an out of state move and house hunting in Killeen. We appreciate allowing pets, outside pet area is decent. Room was very clean, cozy and spacious, including the fully stocked kitchen. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty. All staff were very courteous, professional and friendly. Appreciated all of the extras even though we didn't utilize them all: fitness room, laundry room, snack pantry, outside grill, complimentary cookies and beverages, board games and other incidentals. Good pricing for an extended stay. My only dismay was the pool being outdoor / seasonal only; indoor pools are a preferred amenity. Thank you for an enjoyable stay! Brian Schlosser.

It was a great hotel with lovely staff the breakfast was okay but the pool was lots of fun overall I'd have to say 7 out of 10 short stay reccomend.

This place is very clean, unlike several others nearby. I was able to jump in the tub immediately without fear, the bed is amazing and the pull out couch was too! I would definitely stay here again!

Clean rooms, good fitness center, good business center with a printer and a copier. Breakfast was the same menu rotated every other day. Not the Residence Inn, but a less expensive alternative. Nothing special, but not bad. Staff was very nice.

When we arrived we upgraded to a larger room and had no problem. We also extended our stay and had no problem either. We had an excellent stay. Rooms were very clean, quiet. Breakfast was ok, served it's purpose. It was nice to be able to cook meals. Kitchen had everything we needed. They had a pool, but we didn't use that area. Newspapers available daily.

This hotel is the worst hotel. I been a member with Marriott for a long time. My wife has an emotional support dog and she is register and everything. When I check in they were going to charge me the pet deposit. Even the manager was given me attitud and this is the first time that happen to me and I travel a lot with my wife but sorry Marriott you lose a costumer.

Giving it 2 stars because, I placed a reservation for my two kids and I for four days and it was confirmed. When I check in they said they needed a card on file which was cool no problem. Then they said that even though my reservation was for four nights they could only process 2. So I told her im gonna be paying in cash so how come its not approving for 4 nights. She said its because their placing a $250 hold on my card. Normal things right. And she then proceeded to say I can always extend my stay. So we check in. Room is somewhat small and very humid. But overall clean and furnished. I was excited and so we're my kids. Everything was great until it came to extend my stay. At 4 in the morning I went downstairs to extend my stay. The young lady had absolutely no idea what I was talking about not could give me any information. So I showed her my reservation email ect. Finally she says ok we can do it. Then asked me for my card again and I asked her why do you need it again when its already on file. She said she has to swipe it to hold my reservation. I wouldnt have had a problem if they were just doing that But she stated that it's going to put another hold of $250 on my card when they still had a hold on my card. So that's a $500 hold on my account total, which to me made no sense because I wasn't checking out and they already had a hold on my card. Then proceeds to tell me it will be another $190. (When I placed my reservation I got the room for 4 nights for $259.

Excellent Wi-Fi, clean room, great location, quiet/safe property. This hotel met all my expectations and more. I highly recommend this property and will definitely stay here again.

Thank you so much for an excellent, comfortable stay. The staff was super attentive and helpful. Property is well maintained and my room was very comfortable and well furnished. I did not want to leave at the end of my stay because I was so pampered staying here. They have a hot breakfast every morning, location is excellent and grounds were super clean and quiet!

Definitely the best place in Killeen with kitchens. The staff is fantastic and very helpful. I recommend this place to anyone.

While the hotel is nice, I had to clean my own room and change my own sheets because housekeeping never came. The woman at the front desk only gave me a top sheet at first. I had to go back to the front desk to get a NEW FULL SET of sheets and ask for a new comforter. But, she would not give me a new comforter, so now I have to make my own bed with a dirty comforter because they have no staff for PM housekeeping. I am very upset and will speak to a manager upon check out! I'm here for 2 more days so God only knows if house keeping will come between then and the time I leave! The lady at the front desk does not give good customer service! Not worth the $$$

Great place! Stayed 11 days. Clean, not run down. Had a kitchen included for the same or less price than a lot of other places. We cooked part of the time and had free breakfasts. Close to hwy with Wal Mart, restaurants, mall and anything you would want. Nice staff.

Very clean accommodations. Initially set out to check in early morning hours, but we were able to get a room late evening. Found the location to be off beating track if driving in south 35. We're able to see all the other hotels but not this one. If we didn't have GPS device for the trip we would not. Have found. Even knowing the hotels are 'over therre' we would not have been able to check in. No signs that at least we were able to see. I did not check in but my traveling partner had the pleasure. I was in the extremely well lit parking lot getting our items ready for the trip up to our room. Checking in seemed to go smooth as I was. It waiting very long at all. Was told he was waited in a nice young man. Gathered belongings and headed in. Walk into a nice foyer around front desk to elevator. Short elevator ride to 2nd floor of only 3 floors. Bed room in a suite that has kitchenette and dining area is fairly large. Everything strikes as somewhat new. Typical hotel furniture. Typical decor. But clean. Clean. Clean. Heating unit is noisy and is not going to be easy to make it go to sleep. If watching TV you'll have to turn it up when unit is running. Thus having a need to turn it back down to normal volume. PIA! checked for bed bugs which were no where to be found. Beds were large and comfortable. Little on soft side. Free Wi-Fi. Had to. Like to getpasswlrd. Overall. Would definitely recommend. Me️

I spent the weekend of Oct. 20-22 I left my pocket knife in the room call back an ask if the house cleaning crew could turn it in to the front desk the lady say yes she would let the cleaning crew know. Well all day went bye so I call back to front desk about 5 p. M. On Oct 22 talk to they lady again she told me that house cleaning crew didn't found it I told her that's a lie because I know house cleaning crew found it because I know I left it there. Well I spent my money there for two night stay in that's the way they treat me bye letting the house cleaning crew take my property wow don't leave nothing there if you don't want it stolen bye there house cleaning crew.

Rooms are great, love the full size fridge and burners for cooking. Very comfortable beds. Provided breakfast was perfect for me. Always book here if able when I come into town.

Best bang for your buck hotel in Killeen Texas. Centrally located with great amenities and a friendly staff. Wifi is reliable, breakfast is generally okay for a complimentary service. 2nd time staying here and would definitely not consider an alternative for this city.

I stay at the Townplace when visiting Ft Hood on regular occasion. The staff are great and the rooms are really clean. Highly recommended.

This is the best extended stay hotel I have visited! The kitchen was fully stocked w cutlery, utensils, pots & a pan, cups, plates, storage containers, ice trays, & even a microwave pot!
They provide the cutest little tiny Dawn dish soap, as well as soap for the dishwasher.
Pot holders, dish rag, dishcloth.
Toaster, microwave, coffee maker, (if using own coffee you will need the small filters, but theirs is made by Royal Cup and is pretty good if you use two of the packets), garbage disposal.
The beds and pillows are super comfortable.
They have Paul Mitchell Body & face soap, as well as P. M. Lemon and Sage Shampoo, Conitioner, & Body Lotion. Which is awesome, but Bath & Body Works is still better, (last hotel in FL, ).
Excellent breakfast.
Courtious staff; except the Asian lady who works the desk at night.
When we checked in she insisted on my bank card when I kept tell her their was alreadt card on file. Then the next day we discovered she had marked us as being in the room beside ours, i. E. In wrong number from ours…

This place is awesome. It's very clean. Fully stocked with dishes and everything else. It's like a mini apartment. I would definitely recommend this place.

Extremely clean, well staffed & friendly! We came as a family & there was plenty of space for all of us.

Perfect for traveling with small kids! My family stayed here for 18 days during a move. I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. First of all, this place is exceptionally clean. With two small kids, I felt comfortable with them playing on the floor. We opted to stay in the suite with 1 queen. The kids slept on the pull out sofa. We chose this so there would be more floor space for them and it worked perfectly. Large closet is a plus. The kitchen helped save us money by buying our own food and drinks. The staff is friendly and housekeeping does a thorough job. We paid a $100 non-refundable pet fee which is acceptable especially for a long term stay. There is laundry facilities on site as well as a grill outside. I have been completely satisfied with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel. Quiet, clean, and spacious. I always enjoy my stay here. I think it's better than the Comfort Inn across the street. TownPlace hotel is more like home than a hotel room to me. The only downside is the bathroom doesn't have a bathroom fan exhaust so the room can get humid after a shower and the breakfast ends like at 9 or 10 AM. I can never make it on time they need to extend it! The employees at TownePlace are kind and full of information. Once, I came in at midnight and the front desk manager reminded me it was going to rain and freeze overnight and recommended I raise my windshield wipers on my car. I really appreciated the tip.

Hotel is newer, kept clean, and has friendly staff. Close to Fort Hood. Breakfast is a bit lacking but that is a minor concern.

Hotel was clean, staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was under welling. Hotel location was easy to access even with all the road construction and exit closures. The room was nice size with a small kitchenette, but the dish washer was broken.

Was my first time staying at these suites but they were nice. The bed was wicked comfy and I will definitely stay there again if I need a place tonstay next time I travel. Breakfast was good in the am too.

This is the third time that we have stayed here for a span of one week at a time. Being here at this time last year, we had some difficulties with the rooms. The room that we were given had a very damp/humid feeling inside. On our most recent stay, last week, we again spent a week there. This was probably the worst we have experienced. We were shown three rooms to pick from. The first was very damp, the second had dead cockroaches on the floor (! ) and the third seemed to be fine. We chose the third room thinking that it would not be a repeat of last year, being damp and humid inside the room. Well, it was worse! It was so bad that we had to keep our front door opened every day, all day, to allow circulation from the air conditioning in the hallway into our room. When we would return from going out for dinner, the room smelled and felt like a sauna even with the air conditioning turned on. Think about a sweaty tshirt that you exercised in and was left in your bag all day. When you take out that tshirt, it is very damp/wet and warm. That is exactly what it felt like in our room. Our towels wouldn't even dry, taking at least two-three days for it to partial dry. Although the rooms were not up to expectation, the staff is very nice, welcoming, and accommodating. When I first opened my door, the receptionist called asking if everything was alright. I told him what my concerns were and he suggested we switch rooms.

The past two vacation trips have been wonderful. My daughter just loves this place. Staff is friendly and courteous. We would not stay anywhere else if possible. It is conveniently located to the Post and the shopping areas. We look forward to a 3rd trip this year.

I stayed here a few times, I am not a big reviewer but I really appreciate their service whenever I stay during my business trips. The Management here is great, super friendly staff. The rooms are amazing for the price I paid. Everything about the hotel is great. I would love to stay here again.
