Great hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We loved the rooftop pool and spent time up there almost everyday. The room was comfortable and spacious for a standard king room. The lobby coffee shop came in handy and was super convenient with extremely friendly staff. The front desk employees were also so friendly and helpful, they made our stay very special. Thank you!

Nice place but don’t be fooled by the pool pics. The roof top pool is like a bro-fest. The pool is small and just packed with beer chugging dudes. The liquid that remains between the bros is milky and I don’t doubt, full of things other than water. The hotel is nice enough for sure. The lobby is gorgeous. Good parking at a premium is available. The elevators are glass which is cool.

The hotel itself is very nice. It's conveniently located close to the state capitol and the infamous 5th street; it's within walking distance. However, I have been in better suites from the "generic" hotels which are further away. Breakfast and parking weren't free. These "generic" hotels are much less expensive. Unless you've got the money for it, I would prefer to spend time in a "generic" hotel, further away.

1. ) The hotel is attached to an office building. A strange setup to say the least, but there’s no privacy. 2. ) Decor is drab and hasn’t been updated in 20 years. Renovation is badly needed. 3. ) The pool is extremely small, and can’t really fit more than a dozen people. For a huge hotel this seems like a planning mistake. Bunch of other small things that made our stay less than desirable. Will not stay at an Omni again and certainly not at this one.

Clean. Good location. Attached to an office building so it was an interesting vibe. Upon arrival the bell-hop Jay made the best first impression. Front desk staff was OK. Rooms were clean. A little confusing to get to the pool if you're not staying in the same elevator bank. Couldn't order food up there.

If all you want is a room, the Omni is a great choice. But they charge you like $34 each time you drive out of their parking garage. Expect to pay more for internet too, it’s not complimentary like the other millions of hotels worldwide. Overall the room prices were nice and the rooms themselves were nice. Just expect everything else to add up fast.

Stayed at the OMNI hotel in May 2018. We were there for two days on weekend trip to Austin Texas. The room was nice. I really enjoyed the shower head. We utilized the pool at 3pm on Saturday and it was busy but not overly packed. The weather was beautiful. My only complaint was that our room was next to a ice machine that sounded like a laundry machine with rocks inside. It woke me up a multiple times both nights.

Service at the front desk was excellent and all of the staff we met elsewhere were friendly and helpful! Room was cozy and the perfect temperature. Shower pressure was awesome! The pool was clean and the hotel had pool towels for us. Finally, the breakfast buffet downstairs had great food (perfect for Keto) and a nice selection of fruits, yogurts, and breads. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommend!

The whole hotel is very dated. Rooms have a yellow and brown color scheme, and a distinct musty smell. Rooftop pool was a good idea in theory, but is too small to be enjoyed by more than 6 people at once. Half of the rooms have only an interior window, with a view of the office building/conference center that shares the property with the hotel. Staff was very polite.

Front desk personnel was very unfriendly. It was obvious she didn’t like her job or was having a bad day. However the valet attendant and bellhop were extremely pleasant. Our room was beautiful and clean. The only complaint in the room was the toilet paper. It was most definitely the bargain store brand The roof top pool was absolutely beautiful!

Great location and 2 blocks from the famous 6th Street. Only downside was the extreme amount of homeless people around the area (Salvation Army and homeless center a block away), so people doing drugs, laying around. However, most don’t generally bother you for money. This is happening around all of downtown. The hotel was beautiful, staff friendly and rooms were comfortable and quiet.

Excellent location in downtown Austin. The staff was efficient and very friendly and professional, making the check in and check out process pleasant and effective. I felt they truly wanted to make my visit a pleasant experience and they succeeded. My room (suite) was excellent. Roomy, clean and comfortable. Meals and breaks for our business meetings were excellent and the service staff was super. I would highly recommend this facility.

Very clean hotel, LARGE rooms and the penthouse pool and bar are excellent for relaxing. The gym definitely needs to be moved to a natural light environment, but there's enough to keep you fit. Lobby is beautiful and the staff is incredible. Suggestion: keep the pool bar open a tad longer into the night.

SXSW Startup Crawl at Capital Factory, at the Omni. Good parking, spacious lobby and very clean, if you should have big events here.

For my anniversary, I made the reservation online, with a wrong date. By mistake, and when I called them they fixed my reservation without any extra cost. On arrival they were attentive and even gave us a surprise to the room. For the anniversary. First class rooms, super comfy bed. And a view of the city in the bedroom. The pool is also very good. On the roof of the building with a panoramic view of the city of Austin.

I visited this hotel for a professional event. Its lobby was huge, clean and had awesome hangout options. Its staff was very friendly, professional and proactive. It has a top notch Restaurant abd coffee shop on premise. Awesome location!

Everything is designed to provide a good guest experience. We loved our suite, and the staff have been beyond exceptional. A low desk suitable for doing work on our computers was the only noticeable lack. We made do quite well, however with the high top table.

One of the most gracefully beautiful hotels I have visited. I have actually enjoyed my lovemaking with an old girlfriend with benefits who "took me" there for a naughty night. The swimming pool at the top of the hotel is a bit small, but cozy. The only think I didn't like was how the security didn't like trans women and was very rude when I went to the lady's room. That cost them a star. Not a good place for trans women.

The place is nice and the location is perfect. The rooms are somewhat small for the price you pay and the bathroom needs to be renewed.

The hotel is okay, nothing extraordinary. There was a scent in the room that was noticeable upon entrance. Like a wet towel. We weren't in the room most of the time though. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet in the hotel was great! I think reasonable in price ($22/pp). I was annoyed at the fact that parking is additional ($30 self-park overnight). Should be included with the $200+/night stay. Also, you're charged if you want to use their bathrobes. That should be complimentary as well, considering how much we paid for the stay itself.

Had a wonderful time they even upgraded us to one of their executive suites and we didn't even ask. It was perfect since we were celebrating our baby moon. The food and service was amazing. Asked them if it was too late to get a midnight snack and they said absolutely not and got us what we wanted. Will definitely stay there again.

This Omni was a nice quiet location to lay your head. It was a very nice experience the room was a nice descent size with room to stretch out. There is a Bank also attached to this hotel which might come in handy for the traveling Man/Woman. Not to far off from the 6th bar distract which is great if you need to unwind.

It is a very nice place that is close to many restaurants and centric places. It's great for events like SXSW because you come out and you're in the center of where everything is.

Beautiful facility. Only 3 stars because the room was pricey (I'm ok with that) self park was 32$ for the day and $40 of you valet. It would have been cheaper across the street at the hotel I didn't give all of my cash to to spend the night and Wi-Fi was 9.95/day. Really. It's cheaper on my phone. Again. My room was pricey. Great great great location.

The Omni has an interesting design which is unique to anywhere I've been. I was there for hack tx and the service is very good. There is not a bus station nearby however.

Great room. My one complaint is that the mini fridge wouldn't open so we couldn't put any of our leftovers in there to keep. Otherwise perfect stay!

I visited the Omni building for a meeting in one of the offices on site. Parking in the hotel's underground garage was easy, efficient, and reasonable for the amount of time I spent within the building. The garage elevators take you through the hotel's bar and restaurant area which was clean, organized, and seemingly well staffed. The mezzanine restrooms were clean and well stocked. My overall experience with The Omni was excellent and I wish that time had sufficed to spend time in the restaurant area. I will certainly return in the future to do so.

Twice they messed up my reservation and tried to overcharge me. There are worse things in the world than a hotel that can't keep things straight. But you should not have to worry about these things when you pay what you do to be here. Had I not twice corrected the hotel's mistakes, my wallet would be several hundred dollars lighter. I would not recommend.

I stopped here for a work meeting and loved the space. Had a few interactions with the staff, everyone was really nice. Next time I need a hotel in Austin I'll probably stay here.

Hotel is in the perfect location if you're staying in Austin. Minutes from the capitol building and just two blocks north of the famous 6th Street. The staff are incredible and the rooms are spacious and amazing. My favourite place to stay when I come to town.

The hotel is close to the city centre. The rooms are nice with ample space. Everything was clean. We didn't have any problems there.

The staff was welcoming and it's a good location central to downtown bars and restaurants. I was excited about the pool because it looked awesome on the website but you can only get to it by taking some stairs and I can't do that so I couldn't even use the pool. I asked a girl at the front desk if there was another way to the pool but she said she hadn't even been up there so she didn't know. Plus, paying $30 a night on top of your reservation price to park is crazy.

Very good time here! Well worth it. We were on a long road trip and found this hotel through Priceline. Having never stayed at Omni and based on other reviews, we went. We got a free upgrade to a executive suite with 2 rooms, 2 TVs and huge bath. Great food for breakfast through room service. Nice pool. Friendly staff. They even came up to bring our kids milk and cookies after check in. Truly a luxury hotel with good service!

Comfortable rooms, excellent staff! The rooms have great blackout curtains that do a good job of darkening the room. The bed was comfortable, I could hear very little noise from the hallway and none from the room above me. The shower had good water pressure and the bathroom was spacious. Jose the concierge went out of his way to help. I would definitely stay here again.

The Omni hotel is a great place to stay smack downtown Austin. The views from the upper floors are fantastic. The lobby bar is nice and open. The staff was great as well. I highky recommend this hotel.

The rooms are quite nice, with keureg machines in every room. The concierge is decently well informed and works hard to resolve any issue you may have. The hotel bar has a good selection of top shelf liquors and a reasonable amount of beers, including local brews. Ancho's food is very good. The only downside is that the pool is smaller than it appears and is usually crowded.

Stayed one night and I loved it. The staff was polite, cheerful, and helpful. The room was clean and smelled nice. Above all else, the bed was incredibly comfortable. My back thanks you Omni!

The hotel is very beautiful and easy to get to. There were tons of venues in walking distance and lots of things to see and do. The staff was very friendly and even left cookies and milk in the evening. Everything was clean and fresh and we had a wonderful visit here.

Great Location in Downtown Austin. Service staff was amazingly helpful when I needed to check out early for a family emergency. I always try to stay at the Omni when I visit Austin.

Something was stolen from us at the pool. Security was very helpful in submitting an incident report and calling the police, but we aren't getting the bag back. It would be nice if security was tighter so people weren't afraid to bring their phones to the pool.

Great location, close to 6th street, rooms are nice and comfy. We stayed in one of the Executive suites this time and it was amazing. My go to hotel to stay in Austin.

Very hard to find outlet plugs for electronic devices, but lo and behold, outlets may be found as an attachment on the desk on the direct underside of the table top (not on the wall). The hotel is very comfortable-the bed and pillows, excellent service, great location, good food, and decent Wi-Fi.

Spent a week here for Openstack Summit. Excellent facility, and great staff. The view from 15th floor is great and you are walking distance to everything that matters. 5 minute walk down to 6th street for a food. And if you are there on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night. Walk down to 6th around 11PM — 2AM and let yourself go with the flow … it's a unique experience.

This hotel is way over priced and wasn't pleasant to stay at. Everyone seems nice at the desks but when it comes to the room, it's a joke. There is no microwave unless you pay for it, the Wi-Fi is $10 per day, when it gets to night time all of the staff gets rude and only cares to help the wealthiest of the guests and everyone else is blown off, not to mention they allow camera crews to video whatever and whoever they so choose if you want to be involved or not. Plus the bath tubs are a joke, they aren't deep at all.

At very best this is a three star property and should not command $400+ for a room. I have no complaints whatsoever of the staff. I was completely disappointed in the condition of my room and the fact it smelled like a cigarette.

Location is great! Amenities are non existent. Internet access is slow and extremely limited and extremely expensive. Parking is pricey considering how much we paid for the hotel already. Receptionists are really nice and helpful! Terrible coffee in the rooms.

Rooms are nice. Self parking is expensive. The fitness center is very busy, but it does have nice equipment. The staff is very nice and helpful. Drinks and food are reasonably priced.

Everything was great, yet if you are a dog friendly hotel, why am I having "complaints" about my dog? The staff and everything about the hotel was nice except I paid an additional fee to have my dog and within 30 mins I received a message to return to my room because my dog was barking I returned to a maid outside my door in which I equate my dog to barking. I felt like I could not leave my well behaved dog in my room.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary, and chose to stay overnight at the Omni downtown Austin. We were treated wonderfully by everyone from the moment we drove up. The rooms were great, the view of the atrium was very unique, the food was pretty good. All in all it was a great experience. I have to say that through a casual conversation with the concierge supervisor, once he found out we were celebrating our anniversary, champagne and strawberries were delivered to our room. That was incredible. For that alone, we will definitely be coming back!

The hotel has always been a little odd considering the building is split with an office tower. Despite that, it was a nice hotel for a quick weekend trip. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean. Overall, a nice hotel but could probably use a few upgrades.

Within walking distance of anything you want to eat. Rooms are smaller than I thought they would be but still really good size. Beds are soooo comfy. The robes in the rooms are the best part. Haven't gotten room service yet but everyone else on the floor has and it seems really popular. The menu looks amazing so it's not a surprise that it's a popular option.

Paid $1240 for a 5 night stay, when I checked my CC statement 2 weeks later I saw a random charge of $675. When I called to see what happened the person just played it off with "oh looks like an erroneous charge, we will take it off" Didn't once sound apologetic. When I pressed him on how it happened and what if I didn't notice the charge. His response was "Oh our accounting dept. Would have eventually caught it" Really… You accidentally charge a repeat customer's CC for $675. And are not even sorry about it?

Or you serve well for both costs. Or you can swim because they have problems with water pressure. Not I would stay here again.

Although they messed up our reservation, overcharged us they were more them willing to fix their mistake on the two. The reservation was upgraded to a better room. They spoke to the bank as soon as they could get a hold of them to correct the charges. Offered us a free meal as a compensation.

Loved the stay. Located close to the capital, sixth street and trinity. All walking distance. Hotel staff is friendly. Good food and breakfast. View was unique indoors you don't see to often. Of you still want a good view head to the pool on the roof and see all of Austin.

Stayed with my wife for our 10th wedding anniversary. This has by far been one of the best hotels that we have ever stayed in. I would recommend this to anyone.

I participated in a charity event called the Shatterproof Challenge at the Omni Hotel. The hotel staff was very courteous and the interior of the hotel was very modern looking. As part of the charity I rappelled down the outside of the hotel from the roof (21 stories). While I can't say I've stayed in one of their rooms, the outside of the building was very nice!

Good location very nice comfortable rooms. Enough parking too $20 per day.

If any of you guys are looking for dirt cheap hotel deals I would check out HotelRaven. Com I saved a ton of money using that site. So far so good. Pleasant check and experience. All of the staff is very very nice. Sat down for some tuna tacos and a Texas cheese plate. Very very tasty reasonably priced and great service. I would highly recommend.

Spent one night and the hotel was absolutely fantastic. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and courteous. The room was spacious, very clean, comfortable, and quiet, even with 6th St. Bumpin'. Had the American breakfast buffet and everything was perfectly prepared and the wait staff was exceptional and friendly. Would certainly recommend staying there.

The exterior and interior of this business hotel look like an office building. In fact, it is connected to the Austin Business Center. Inside, the lobby is vast, open and airy. The room is elegantly appointed with contemporary furnishings. The neutral brown and beige with light green color scheme adds to the sophistication. An apparent effort was made to enhance the comfort level for guests, with many home-like details — a rug in the bathroom, closet doors found in condos, the beautiful bathroom mirror and rich-looking shower curtains with a thick cotton-like fabric. Even the towels were plentiful.
