This place serves its purpose. Decent, clean, and has hot water. Nice T. V. And was surprised that my room had laminated floors. Also, the air conditioner does blow cold air.

I wouldn’t even give this motel a rating but have to in order to make a post. I Will never go back. We had a crew of about 15 guys there and we noticed bags and such moved around. I found the owner of motel going in room after the guys would leave for work at 6:30 in the morning and he said he was inspecting rooms and making sure everything was ok. I told him that was BS and that he did not need to going through our rooms/bags and would make sure he lost all our business.

Great service, clean rooms, congenial staff who were helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us. This is our second time at staying at this hotel and will definitely come back!

I like the hotel. The owners are very friendly. The rooms are and actually smell good when you walk in. The bed is very comfy. Plenty of room. This motel is a little more expensive than the Economy down the street but we'll worth and you don't have to put up with the owners of that motel being an ass to you.

Clean, nice rooms. The front desk staff was very courteous.

The WORST place ever. There were cockroaches in the room, when we brought it to their attention they told us to live with it. The manager tried to kick a disabled, homeless woman out merely because she got a small discount. She had to call the cops who agreed it is illegal to ask for paperwork about the woman's disability. The manager was being completely discriminatory towards her. Don't come here, unless you want to be harassed, and kill cockroaches. The place was disgusting.

Amazing service rooms are always clean & if there's 1 more person than usual they'll add another towel without any problems.

I was in Gladewater, tx. We checked in at midnight. The overnight management was nice and gave us roo 105. Bottom floor smoking. The room had bugs, possible mold, extreme (carwash) water pressure, and there was still food in the mini fridge.

Bed bugs… yuck. Felt something crawling on me at 1:30 am. Jumped out of bed and found many large and baby bedbugs in both our bed and our daughters. Really upset. Since it is now only 2:30 in the morning and my whole family is up and afraid to sit in the bed, not a good experience. I have yet to see how owner will deal with the issue. Stairwell needs to be cleaned up, has lots of broken ac units under stairs. Room had used soda lid and straw under bedspread. The big issue is the bedbugs, terrified we may bring them home. Now how I wanted to spend vacation, dealing with bedbugs and no sleep.

The a/c worked but oh my was it loud. It was clean and people were nice.

Front staff are nice, this is a family operation here and they try to make everything right. Don't come to an old hotel expecting luxury. By no means it this place nice, it's your typical older hotel with old fixtures etc… but it's clean and has good A/C. When you're traveling and need a cheap rate, it does the job.

Great stay… nice help at front desk… much better experience than others in town… rooms are clean, definitely the best stay in Gladewater…

Grate and affordable accommodation in town.

This place was straight up NASTY! The smell of mold was overwhelming, the bathroom has rotten trim, under the toilet was a rusted can catching the leak that could be easily fixed. Thank god I brought pillows and covers because the bedding had been there since 1960 and was very clear it had not been washed! I wouldn't stay here again if it was the last place on earth.

There was absolutely nothing about this place that is worth the money and time. If there was ever such a thing as giving a negative rating, this place would get it. Drive to Longview or Kilgore for lodging. I recently booked rooms for my wedding party and guests and have never been treated with more disrespect and hostility than by the owner. Additionally, the language barrier male chauvinistic attitude did not help matters at all. The rooms are worst than what you would expect at a $30/night motel. Unfortunately, my maid of honor stayed for a total of 2 hours before she was threatened by the motel manager/owner that "if she didn't like it there, she could leave. " I immediately called the motel to cancel ALL reservations.

I give this establishment one star because it is not possible to give zero stars. The only redeeming quality about this inn is it's location if you're needing to stay within Gladewater town limits and don't mind dirty sheets or berated by a staff member. After checking in, we had to leave for dinner, upon our return, we needed to use the freezer in the mini fridge. We discovered substantial mold growth on the door of the freezer. We got ready to go to bed, turned back the covers… found hairs all over the pillows and sheets. We noticed at this time there was no mattress protector or fitted sheet on the bed. The only linens on the bed was two flat sheets and a comforter cover. Since we did not want to inconvenience housekeeping at midnight, we took the hair covered pillow downstairs and rang the bell for the night clerk. It was very apparent that we had woken him up. We explained to and showed him what we had found. Then, we requested two clean sets of linen so we could change out the sheets and pillow covers on our beds. When the clerk unlocked the door to hand me the replacement linens, he proceeded to scold me for not turning back the covers and checking our beds following check in, earlier in the day because I have no wakened him late at night. I told him that, generally, when a guest pays for a room, cleanliness upon check-in is usually the responsibility of and guaranteed by the establishment.
