Review of Extended Stay America Suites - El Paso - Airport 2*

My husband and I are currently staying here while my husband's company was contracted for a job. The first room we stayed in was ok, except some of the walls looked dingy and the a/c was leaking on the floor making the carpet wet and the kitchen sink doesnt drain well. That was room 216. The second room we were moved to has a lot more issues. The big burner on the stove top doesn't lie flat and is a pain to cook on, the linoleum right at the bathroom/kitchen border is coming up and I tripped on it, the microwave safe plate is lopsided because the rack it sits on is damaged, the reclining chair has a section broken off of it on the foot rest, the backsplash in the kitchen is pulling away from the wall and the toilet has bad parts in the tank and wont stop running. This is room 229. I don't feel that this property is kept up very well by the owner. There are a lot of repairs needing to be made to the rooms. Plus, washing machine in the laundry room has trouble starting to fill with water. The timer starts counting down and then if you hit the start button for like the 4th time after you have lost 2 minutes off the time, then it will start filling with water. We also only get maid service once a week. If you want clean towels, etc, you have to go ask at the front desk to get them. The beds are also very small, especially when your husband is over 6'2". I think we may have had a queen in the first room, but definitely only a full in the second. If they cleaned up the walkways and did the repairs in the room, this would be a nice place to stay.
