It was very clean and quiet. The beds are so soft. The staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed the past couple days for a business conference. Every hotel employee was polite, friendly, & helpful. The food for all our meals was absolutely incredible. I highly recommend this hotel & banquet facilities. The Starbucks coffee was awesome.

Absolutely stellar customer service! Upon arrival, I wasn’t feeling well and the airline lost my luggage. I was clearly stressed. The most wonderful people at Check-in were so kind and friendly. Honestly the best part of my day, when I was upgraded to a Jr. Suite! My room was beautiful, clean and quiet. Relaxing lavender essential oil on my nightstand was the cherry on top! Thank you for turning my frown upside down! I will definitely tell everyone about the wonderful service from check-in to check-out. You cared about me and that is priceless!

Attended a wedding. Beautiful venue. Easy clear parking and good lobby area to hang out in before the event. Did not stay overnight, but staff was helpful.

Beautiful hotel. Excellent staff service. They accommodated my special requests and comped my valet parking due to my handicap. The room was very nice and had all the amenities we were looking for. The pool was refreshing and the bar served excellent drinks. I would recommend this hotel and definitely be back!

I was here at millions con! This MADE MY STAY EXCELLENT! rooms are nice, gonna take a dip in the pool too! Its awesome. However, you get charged for parking. They charge hidden fees. Room service is charged differently from "delivery" when all you do is take the elevator. They dont tell you the option to pick up. They are very shrewd when it comes to expenses.

Our stay at the Westin was pleasant and smooth. The ambassadors we nice and accommodating. My first encounter was with the warm greeting of the valet professionals. The food was good, the dessert could have been better. There is a really strong fragrance once you come through the front entrance. I wouldn't stay here again but I enjoy Westin Hotels and hospitality.

I loved everything about this place. I had a 2-day course I was taking nearby and was looking for a hotel that allowed dogs. My husband and our two pups were making the trek with me. Check in was a breeze and took less than 4 minutes. The room was immaculate and smelled so fresh. The best part was how quiet it was. Our dogs are rescue terriers and they enjoy “letting us” know when they hear any noises. We stayed on a Thursday and Friday night and barely heard any other visitors or doors opening/closing so the dogs were fairly at ease for their stay! I also rated this a 5 because of the Westin lavender sleepy time roller oil left by the nightstand; what a great touch!

My experience was not to good breakfast for $20.00 each, rooms were switched and charged more on top of that I had to pay $86.00 more just to back into our room for a total of $387.00 for one night stay the $86.00 was for us to get our belongings out.

My connecting flight with American Airlines was delayed and they sent us to this hotel, the room had a weird smell, even the towels had a disgusting smell, room service didn't even get calls and the bar was closed earlier. Looks dark and outdated with very poor maintenance. Staff was very nice and room, bed was big though.

This was the host hotel for our company conference. They did a good job with the meeting set up with the audio/visual crew. The break out for lunch and dinner could have run smoother, but not to bad considering the sheer number of people. The beds were comfortable and the small touches like special oil blend for sound sleep, were very memorable.

First stay at this location. I've never had a bad experience with The Westin, but this stay hindered me and I must say it WAS NOT any fault of The Westin, by far. There was a very large group of people occupying the hotel for some sort of annual celebration. Well into the night, actually early morning, 4am, their celebrations spilled over into the hallways, both nights of our stay. Hence, disturbing everyone's sleep that was not included in their party. Really rude and disrespectful of them! So, I dare not blame The Westin for their behavior. The hotel was clean, loved the fragrance in the air as you walk into the lobby. Our room was comfy, the bed was comfy also. The bar n restaurant on site, very convenient. Average pricing. Parking garage for a cost. There were some people parking at an empty lot across the street. So, I guess that's an option, if you don't want to pay for covered, garage parking. Lastly, I want to say, Mark was the Manager on duty/shift when I had to make my complaint of the "hallway partying guests". He handle the situation quickly and professionally. I really appreciate his efforts in accommodating and making us feel just as important to the hotel as those who were their for the weekend event. Big THANK YOU MARK and we'll be back for another stay when visiting Dallas area, again! Keep up the great work Westin family!

Loved It, I know that I am usually critical in my reviews and standards that I expect but I guess it is true that you get what you pay for. In the last week we have visited 2 hotels that were higher stars and believe me you can tell the difference. First off The Westin had Easy Professional Checkin, The Room was clean and huge… the pool area was gorgeous and an awesome gym.

Pros — Check in was pretty fast. Room was very nice. Cons — Parking is a NIGHTMARE. You cannot leave the hotel parking garage after checkout without paying which makes sense. The charge for an overnight stay was $31.00 and NO this was not for valet; this was one night in the parking garage. A few days later, an additional "incidental" charge hits my account for an additional $19.49 as an additional parking charge. I called the hotel and was told they are not responsible for the parking garage. In all, ONE night of parking was $50.49. In 35 years of travel, I have never paid this much for parking. Major RIP off.

Beside the setbacks upon checking in and the not so pleasant staff while dining upon our arrival the weekend here turned out pretty nice. I understand there were two large conventions that arrived to the hotel at the same time and we took over a lot of rooms and space at one time. Than you for a great weekend Westin Inn and pulling through with great service!

I use this hotel as my Guest Room for out-of-town visitors. Top-notch accommodations and service. Good bar and restaurant. No complaints from anyone. Only praise. Convenient location. Twenty minutes from Downtown, with a plethora of eating, entertainment, and shopping venues within a 10 to 15 minute drive.

Really should consider replacing old sofas with leather ones if you’re going to have them. It appears to be semen stains on the one in our room which is pretty disgusting. Also, checked sheets and pillow cases and it’s quite a bit of hair on them. Other than that hotel lobby is beautiful and for those who doesn’t want to pay for valet, they offer free parking in a lot behind the hotel.

Nice, well-kept hotel with easy access to many nearby businesses, including Texas Instruments. Very reasonably priced, especially for what is offered: nice, clean rooms and suites with great bathrooms. It is a Westin, after all.

This place was extremely caring about the customer experience. And although price line misrepresented the offer. The management went to many lengths to see we became comfortable in what was an experience we could not really afford. I am most grateful for the manager.

To the hotel is pretty nice, but far less appealing than the Westin downtown or the Westin galleria. Had one bedroom suites with the full living and dining room and the room was huge, the dining table seated 10. Hotel was extremely crowded with tons if dance groups but they held it together and got me checked in quickly.

To be honest, I didn't actually stay here overnight but I did have dinner there and visit a friend. The hotel was beautiful on the inside very Immaculate and well kept and the staff was friendly knowledgeable and very eager to lend a helping hand in any situation. I would definitely recommend it on just those two points alone.

That’s why you hired and promote Anthony at this property. We came in after 8 early morning hours at the airport finally defeated and resigned to trying again tomorrow to get back home to Chicago… with all our luggage in Indianapolis… don’t ask! Anthony was funny and connected with us especially my wife who was not in her normal happy mood. Lol. He is our hero, he got us all set up and quite frankly we stayed in a Sheraton and Omni while we where here exploring The Dallas Fort Worth area and we will never stay any where else except your property…

Overall experience and this hotel was great. Room and beds are roomy and staff was a pleasure to interact with. Was nice to have the vehicle under a cover structure. Check was a pleasure even when we did not have a reservation set up.

Decent hotel, I stay here often due to proximity of my office. I have had problems with TVs, AC not working as well as plumbing problems. Frankly, I've had more bad stays than good. Ive had a dirty room on multiple occasions (trash on the floor) Their food is good but pretty $$. There is also no hot tub/spa and only an outdoor pool. I feel like for this class of hotel the amenities and quality should be much higher just like the price. They also discontinued their shuttle service that is still being advertised. On the plus side, the beds are very comfortable and the noise is generally low.

I was meant to stay the night here, but due to a bus break down, I didn't get in until 5:30 in the morning. I'd prepaid, so I decided to go ahead and get a few hours of sleep before continuing on to Mississippi later that morning. The man who checked me in was so kind and even started to get me all set up for late checkout. I stopped him because I had to leave around 9, but it was so kind of him to do so. My room was lovely and clean, the bed was comfortable and honestly heaven sent after the bus trip from hell. I wish I'd gotten to spend the whole night at the Westin, but what little I did get to spend was amazing. I would stay again and I would recommend to my friends and family.

The moment you walk in you get a nice white tea scent that never leaves you. The lobby area is very spacious and clean. Very nice touches with a beautiful decorative piece throughout. Bed was pretty comfy, bathroom was nice and clean with plenty of towels. We had a beautiful view from the 17th floor. We really enjoyed our stay, and we’ll be back for sure, when we visit Dallas again. I have a very high standards, but this one passes with a flying colors!

After driving for 24 hours you can imagine how exhausted my daughter and I were. Every person that went next to me didn't have to verify their proof of payment. The front staff I want to say Gracie was not pleasing and welcoming. I have never receive this kind of behavior, I felt discriminated. Other than thay, the hotel is incredible. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and lovely lobby. I think you will enjoy your stay.

Hotel couldn't find my reservation despite receiving multiple confirmation emails and even a "Welcome" reminder. No elite status recognition on check-in, hotel also did not credit my stay at the end of it. Parking is $18 per night — save this money, park at the lot across the street for free instead. Room is large, clean and typical of Westin hotels. Short drive to the mall and interstate.

It’s a beautiful hotel. Quiet when I stayed. The charge for parking is a bit much $18/night. Very business oriented. Starbucks coffee in room. TV system could use an update. Unfortunately I had to arrive in the morning after my reservation due to a storm. I called ahead and had them note that I would pay for the first night, if I could come into the room when I got there the next morning, early. Unfortunately the note was not posted and they had no room for me when I arrived the next day.

The room was very spacious and nice. The location was perfect! The experience: not so much. We ordered room service Saturday night and they brought 2/3 of our order. The woman who answered the phone didn't put the addition to our order in the computer. So after waiting 45 minutes for the food we ordered, we called and they had no record of the order and told me I didn't call. It was on late night menu at that point and there was no offer to do a special order since it was their mistake. No apology. Nothing. I also have reason to believe my debit card may have been skimmed at one of the soda machines in the hotel. It's the only place I used the card while in town and within 24 hours I had a fraud alert email. Maybe a coincidence…

I stay at this hotel every year around this time for an annual event, and usually I'm very pleased with the service. However, I must say this last visit left me quite disappointed. My double bed room had been booked in advance, but upon my arrival I was notified that it was not ready and I would have to wait 3 hours unless I switched to a single bed. The rates on everything have increased from the price of the rooms to the parking fees, despite the fact that no noticeable renovations have occurred. There was a spot for a refrigerator in my room, but no refrigerator, and the water coming from my bathroom sink was cloudly/foggy looking. Overall, it wasn't the best stay, but I have had good experiences with them in the past which is why I gave 3 stars.

Hotel is nice and updated. The parking is less than ideal, having to pay to park in a garage that is separate from the hotel, but it's not terrible. Staff is helpful and the rates are very reasonable. My family would come back here.

Visited the Westin as a guest of a wedding. The hotel provided a beautiful ballroom for most of the night. There was food for cocktail hour and then dinner, each of which was very good. It was a great event!

Stayed for 3 nights. Great experience. Very roomy and comfortable atmosphere. Rooftop pool. Large lobby. No refrigerator in room. Covered parking but you do have to pay for it. I would stay here again. Clean and comfortable.

I enjoyed my stay at this Westin. We were evacuees from Hurricane Harvey, and the staff were extremely attentive to our needs in order to have a comfortable stay. The food they offer is good, and I thoroughly enjoyed the pool as well. The rooms are immaculate, and the cleaning ladies do a fabulous job maintaining the rooms during our stay. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a hotel in Dallas.

The Westin is in a nice spot in Dallas right off of 635 and 75. The staff was amazing and friendly. They took into consideration the rough time we had up at the airport and made sure we were well. The room alone was great and the room service was spot on. They have a bar right up front with a great selection of drinks, and all around the stay was great.

My grandaughter had a slumber birthday party for her and three friends and the Westin Park Central went above and beyond. Great customer service, awesome breakfast, wonderful pool and amazing room with a wonderful view. I would highly recommend the Westin. Thanks for a great weekend!

My go-to Dallas hotel. Management seems to be constantly updating. Feels fairly fresh though you can see the age of the building around the edges. Bar is right in the middle of the lobby and a great place to meet colleagues. Get a package that includes parking and breakfast as both are overpriced on their own.

Great hotel! Perfect location to reach many areas of Dallas quickly. Nice and modern lobby that looked recently updated. Clean big and modernized rooms. Electrical outlets galore (hotels never have enough outlets) all throughout the room. Clean, spacious, modern, polite, and comfortable not much more you can ask for in a hotel.

I stayed here last weekend and it was really great! We checked in and the front desk manager asked why we were there and I told him we were celebrating my husbands birthday. He immediately upgraded our suite and later sent up complimentary drinks. I also received a couple of texts throughout the stay asking if everything was okay. We had a beautiful view and sat on the windowsill watching the city and drinking champagne. It was really great! The only reason I give it four stars is because the room was a little outdated and didn't really match the elegance of the lobby. Also parking was 18 dollars but it was still a great experience.

I've only been here for conferences. Great location. Quick access to I-635 and I-75. Nice and accommodating staff. Bar, good. Food at conference (sandwiches) not so good.

Beautiful, big without being overwhelming. Great bar with handcrafted cocktails you actually want to drink. The pool is really nice. The parking costs are overpriced considering how many lots are here. The room was amazing. Believe the hype about the beds because they are awesome. I've been to hotels where housekeeping starts knocking on your door 2 to 3 hours before checkout even if you have the do not disturb sign out. That rattles me and makes me feel rushed. They don't do here. Perfect place to recharge.

Elevator wouldn't work. We waited and got another one and went down to the restaurant and ate our cold tortilla soup which tasted like tomato soup with tortillas in it. Also had the lumpy chicken fettuccini Alfredo which was also cold. We also ask for bread that was never brought to us. The waitress and the mousse was bomb. Went back upstairs and elevator was still broken. 1st impression of the room was that something was under the blankets because of the way it looked. Room temperature was hotter than it was outside which cooled down finally around 10 pm. Called front numerous times and kept being placed on hold. Never got to speak with anyone. When we booked room it showed there to be a spa and there isn't. I didn't want to review you I actually wanted to just send a message but I can't find a place for that. Windows are so dirty pictures are just a blur. We are on the 11th floor and ant even take good pictures. All in all the best part of our stay was the wonderful waitress at the restaurant.

We stayed during a rather large convention which is probably why we had so many issues that were unresolved. We requested two beds, received 1 king size. There was 3 of us. They did bring a roll away but no extra blankets. We requested a fridge, none showed up. That was a huge waste on our food budget. We were unable to store medicine either. No microwave. We did not receive the correct room rate and when we asked to have it changed, they were unable to.
If was up to me, there was a Marriott within walking distance full hot breakfast included and cocktail hour. Full kitchen too.
The staff was wonderful and very apologetic, I think at any other time this would have been a better experience.

I didn't get any room service but my stay was amazing… I thought the prices we're a Little pricy, and I think they should have had a free breakfast at least for overnight guest… but other than that my night was fine. The most exciting thing I saw was the shower. It was a awesome shower.

Hands-down, the worst hotel I've ever stayed in in my life. I booked my reservations for June 9, 10th and 11th. When I arrived, they had double booked me, and it took all three days to try and correct this hotel booking. I'm still not sure, that it has been satisfactorily corrected. I fully expect, that I will be charged as many as five or six days in addition to the original booking. The front desk personnel were rude, and told me that because I used Priceline, westin could not help me correct this booking. I was told three different times, by Weston management, that it had been straightened out, only to find out that it had not.

Two day weekend overnight stay. First night room was unacceptable. After complaint 2nd night room was awesome! Also got free movie. Staff was terrific. Room service was better than I expected.

This place is rad. Super great rooms and allow early check in, just ask. Upgrade a room, just ask. Parking is the only bummer $16/night, but totally worth it. Super clean and comfortable.

Arrived at hotel and was greeted well but was told my room hadnt been paid for when I had a receipt in hand that clearly stated otherwise. Desk lady told me I could provide a personal card and pay for the room and after my stay I would need to call to get everything straightened out. It was my impression they wanted to double charge me and hope that the troubles of reimbursment would not be worth my time. After 30 min of creating a scene all of a sudden my room was magically paid for. Amazing isnt it? anyway so I get to my room and I was on the 4th floor. The pool is on the third floor. Well at 7:00 am the following morning some construction company decieded it would be a great idea to use a jack hammer to preform work on the pool. When brought to the hotels attention I was told they were completely booked and could not be moved to another room. Being the fact that I was gunna be gone all day of the two days I would be staying there I simply let it go and kept my room. No more issues till 3 days after check out. I asked for a detailed invoice of my bill which was delivered. 3 days later the charge on my credit card did not match the invoice. I call to inquire why. Turns out parking was not free which was never explained to me. Also room service had been charged to my card which I never used. After many hours of argueing I gave up and decieded the incompetent people I was dealing with was not worth my time. Also the amount of fees they charged was outragous.

Wife and I checked in and there was no one to check us in, after 5 minutes someone finally appeared and asked if we were being helped. We said no and they began to check us in. We get to our room and it's warm and humid and set to 74 degrees, I turn the AC as low as it will go (60) and we leave and don't get back until about 10pm. When we walk in the temperature in the room hadn't changed. When I checked the thermostat it was back to its original setting of 74. So I again turn it back down again. Woke up just now, because I was sweating and checked the AC AND AGAIN it defaulted to 74. I'm sure the lack of sleep isn't helping my attitude and viewpoint right now but as I sit here, awake and not sleeping, I wish I was in a different hotel where the temperature of the room could be regulated. At this point, my wife is sound asleep, (probably because the temp is finally more to her liking) and calling the front desk isn't going to help and I don't want to wake my wife up to change rooms at 3 in the morning. I just didn't expect to have this kind of issue with a hotel like Westin when it's been a non issue at hotels that don't have as fine a reputation as theirs.

Visited here for All-Con 2016. Elevator wait time was horrible. 5 elevators and the average wait time for a elevator to show up was around 7 to 10 minutes … even if the elevator was 1 or 2 floors above/below you. 2nd floor smelled like urinal cakes, there was some work going on in a bathroom and the whole floor smelled like they were trying to cover up the smell of sewage. Other than those things everything else was fine, staff very nice and helpful.

Easy to get to and the food in the restaurant was very good. Brunch wss nice. The only bad thing was that I had to wait for 2 hours for a bell cart when I had to check out on Sunday and valet parking is very expensive. The room was comfortable and clean and had a refrigerator which is great when you are traveling with young children. They need to fix the elevators. 2 were not working and that caused long waits for people who couldn't use the stairs because they had babies in strollers. The staff were friendly and helpful and I would stay there again.

Great Hotel. Wonderfully accommodating for a large business function. Staff was a dream. Room was perfect. The higher floors have a very nice view. Complementary water in the room when you arrive. Overall quiet. Food is good. Shuttle service. Easy access free Wi-Fi in the room. Great gym and pool. Definitely perfect for the whole function.

Rooms are comfortable, clean, and we'll kept, though maybe a bit dated decor. Comfortable workspace in the room. Workout area ok. Parking garage a bit tight for larger vehicles, but still doable. Breakfast buffet for preferred guests is nice addition, standard eggs, meats and cereals, plus a good selection of fruits.

Hotel staff was excellent and very accomdating. It's tough to hold an event for over 250 members but they did it with grace and very welcoming. During the after party they moved us to the lobby bar and handed out water the guests late into the night. Thank you for all your hard work!

The hotel is just an OK play to sleep. For the level of stars it advertises itself to be, the Westin falls incredibly short. Double Tree or Hyatt (place) would be far superior places to stay. The lobby was nice. The room, however, was weighed and found lacking. As stated above, the Double Tree or Hyatt place would be superior. The Westin Park Central's rooms were poorly decorated; the furniture was quality that could have been found at a garage sale; the bathroom had wallpaper peeling off and dropped ceiling lighting from before the 90s. The carpeting throughout the room and halls was well worn. On top of the lude room appearance and hotel up keep, I had to pay per night to park the car myself. I would not stay here again, and I am near swearing off Starwood hotels entirely. If you must stay in Dallas, stay elsewhere.

Check-in took 15 minutes due to a large line, and the guest reception staff were rude. Hotel parking and Wi-Fi require fairly large fees. However, free parking is available right across the street in a large parking lot near the Benihana restaurant. The lobby is nice, but the room decor is very outdated. There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom. The outside of our room windows were very dirty, making the view useless. Hallway/room noise was a huge problem (large gaps under doors attribute to this). I could literally hear entire conversations from my neighbors room, who seemed to be talking in a normal voice. I had no hot water 2 of the mornings I tried to shower, and eventually waited until after my lunch to go back to the hotel and shower. I tried to resolve a SPG account expiration issue, and the staff stated the problem was resolved. However, upon checkout when I queried about my points another staff member said my account was still expired. Meaning the first lady did absolutely nothing as I originally suspected. The only 2 positives about the hotel: it was clean and the location is great for access to the north side of Dallas.

Hands down one of the poorest customer service experiences I've ever had. The manager Chastity Hartfield was not only rude but depicted every connotation of what is wrong with service organizations in America today. Rather than make a customer for life she elected to turn me out, forcing me to find another establishment to stay in, and kept my money on top of it all. I have never left a comment in a social media form before but after having had this experience I felt it was my only recourse for people to know who you're dealing with when you stay at the Westin Dallas Park Center. I have stayed at other Westin establishments and have found them to be excellent, but steer clear of this one it is sullying the name of the Westin hotel chain.

This hotel has helpful staff and a welcoming lobby, but the rooms are a bit outdated. My biggest complaint though is that the Wi-Fi is atrocious. Not only is it disgracefully slow, but it will also drop connectivity altogether making any productive or simple web browsing work largely impossible.

The room is a little out-dated in styling and there is no mini-fridge, but the shower head was updated and it is a good size room. The housekeeping hounded us to clean our room 3 times until we called the front desk. They thought we were leaving. The food and room were good but WAY overpriced. There is an open parking lot within walking distance, so don't pay the ridiculous valet price of $24 per night or self-parking in their garage at $14 per night. We are staying here on our insurance's dime because our apartment flooded. If you take out the price, it is a standard hotel with a nice bar, fancy decor and Starbucks coffee.

The service was very much on point, very spacious with friendly staff. They also have a good size inside gym with multiple weights and equipment. Also the have a beautiful outdoor swimming pool in which only goes to 4ft : (. The only bad thing I about this Hotel is the fact that you're paying a generous amount of money for a room without a microwave and VERY poor Wi-Fi if any at all and there's NO free breakfast in the mornings. Other then those small problems my family I stay here was greatly enjoyable.

Customer Service is Great. The location of this hotel is fantastic. You can reach different food places in walking distance and also a pharmacy. The rooms were clean and the hotel maintenance is good. Overall a great experience.

First time staying at a westin, and it will be the last time. Staff completely incompetent of hospitality. Everything but the lobby is outdated that it feels like an insane insylum. No fridges, no microwaves, no fan in the bathrooms, terrible shampoo, lame ass channels, expensive parking, no breakfast. Stay somewhere else, save your money.

I dont know why everyone else hates this place, but I loved it. The room was nice, the valet people were nice, and you have full access to the mall through the lobby at anytime. And the room view was awesome in my opinion!

I stayed at this property on a weekly basis for over 2 years. The staff was kind and polite. The rooms were clean. A great hotel for business trips.

Overpriced food for amount of food given. No microwaves, No fridges. $51 bucks for 3 ham n cheese sandwiches. Plain bread. Nothing I couldn't make at home. Seriously? Rude male bartender, hating his job. Would not stay here again.

If you want to be totally ignored by the staff, in a room with strange hair, moldy furniture, dirty carpets, and rotting bathroom caulk, then go right ahead. Loud banging in the morning won't let you sleep, and the front desk will blame it on an elevator. And this is in farthest away room down the hall from the elevator bank. If you're going to attend any of the ballrooms here, bring a jacket and a hat. If you're loading anything through their so called dock, be prepared to wait because they let people park their cars there. I'm the last person to give bad reviews, but this is blowing my mind. Oh, it has been 25 hours since I FIRST asked for a fridge. Still nothing. I've tried 5 more times over phone and face to face. This place blows donkey balls.

Horrible experience. Couches had stains in the room. They moved us to an "executive suite", but it was far from executive. The mini fridge didn't work. It took them forever to replace it. The management told us that they will cover a meal for us, only later to find out that they will cover it up to a certain amount. We will not be vising The Westin at this location again. Horrible.

I feel like I've stayed at a completely different hotel than the other reviewers. This hotel is fantastic. Let me reiterate, IT IS FANTASTIC. We had a wonderful experience, the staff was great, the room was clean and very nicely appointed, the bed was absolutely wonderful, parking was easy, and we felt welcomed. We did not use the pool or gym so we can not rate those amenities.

Decent business class hotel. The food options at the hotel are limited, but the the staff are responsive and attentive. There are several restaurants nearby for other food options. Good access to DFW and downtown Dallas.

Do Not Stay Here and Do Not Be Fooled. The check in took a long time (as well as check out) due to slow computers. You will pay $13.00 a night for parking. Every call costs money. Ordered 3 cereals, 3 milks, 3 fruit cups, and 3 muffins which cam to $56.00 until taxes, preparation, and delivery which brought it to $89.40. Internet is not free. My rooms A/C was not good at all but I didn't realize this until I was already settled in so really I just dealt with it. If you decided to book here be prepared for the $50.00 deposit. I have $150.00 still pending because they charged me three times for the deposit because of computer problems. Also, the rooms are much smaller than you would imagine. I was at times feeling claustrophobic. This was definitely a learning lesson and not worth the money whatsoever.

This is the worst Westin I've ever stayed in. When we arrived, we approached the registration desk, the woman behind the desk looked depressed, she didn't greet us — no smile, no hello. She looked as if she'd had a long day and was doing us a favor by checking us in. When she asked me if I had an SPG number, I said "yes, but I don't have it with me, can you look it up? " She didn't answer, looked irritated and didn't look up for several minutes, before confirming my name for the account. We arrived to our room to find two small double beds and accommodations that are obviously fairly old and not very well maintained or upgraded. The bathroom is very drab with obviously old tile. The lobby restrooms were not clean, two of the stalls requiring significant attention and door hinges and wall paper peeling off. We had breakfast on the lobby restaurant where the server was not very friendly or attentive. The only redeeming quality is the signature Westin bedding and the friendly and courteous valet attendants.

This has to be the worse! This is an old hotel. This hotel can not accommodate a for a huge convention. I called for a blanket for my daughter because she slept on a roll away. And yet, all we got was sheets. Because ran out of blankets. The food was ridiculously over priced. For a Breakfast for 3 people. It cost's 71 dollars. Unreal. WE didn't order a whole lot. We got 2 breakfast. 2 cups of coffee and orange juice for $71.00 unreal. I was told that, that is the price and nothing can be done. Talk about frikken gouging. Overpice room rate as well. I just hate this place over all. Sorry.

Good location to downtown Dallas. Check in was expedient. Did not utilize out-of-room amenities as only stayed one night. Room was quiet and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Did not experience noise from elevators or hallway traffic. I would stay here again.

I am not usually the "write a review" kind of person, however, I read all the reviews on this place prior to staying, and was prepared for a very disappointing experience. Let me just clear the air here — The Westin in Downtown Dallas is NOT a bad hotel. I may have just gotten lucky, but I just stayed there over 8/8/14-8/10/14 for the Vampire Diaries Convention, and had a great time. We arrived at 1am Friday night/Saturday morning, and the check in went very smoothly. Got up to the room and was pleasantly surprised. Unlike what the reviews prepared me for, the room was very clean and nice. We got a standard King Bed room. Very spacious with a nice full length mirror on the wall next to the bathroom. We were on the 6th floor. Shower was very nice with one of those rain shower heads, not just your typical. I had never showered with one of those so that was definitely a highlight for me. Elevators were fine considering how many people were staying at the hotel. I did notice the trays outside people's rooms, but that didnt bother me much. When I booked my room, I opted for the complimentary breakfast buffet each morning. If you want breakfast, make sure to do this because the buffet was insanely overpriced. $20/person for a small selection of mediocre food. Definitely glad we had that comped. Parking was $8 for the special event weekend, but not hard to find a spot. Definitely dont recommend valet parking for this place. It was way too easy getting to and from the car.

Have been here twice on business, both times with my wife and 3 year-old son. Fantastic all around. Great staff, always friendly, professional and anticipating your need (s). Very friendly with my son and understanding of toddler behavior, looking to help us rather than make the situation worse. Pool is clean and spacious. Gym has many options to offer, clean as well. Rooms are great, location to attractions is further than might be desired, but great value. Events are always well done. Large, elegant ballrooms w/ breakout rooms for convenient trade show/convention settings. Escalator plus elevator access for attendees staying in hotel, or visiting only for the event.

I've been staying at this hotel for business for over two years, and I've seen the quality and value decline. The accommodations are nice. But, don't be fooled by a Hotwire or Priceline deal. You'll easily pay an additional $25 day by the time you pay $13 for self-parking (plus tax), and another $10/day for internet. I ordered a quessadilla; it came with three small pieces and cost $24. Local phone call, $0.53, glass of juice, $5. Way over priced. The food service staff speaks little to no English, so be prepared to wait for a manager if you have a question. If you want to print something, you either have to pay or use the front desk, and the print quality is extremely poor. Some good things — the front desk staff is very nice. The location is convenient to reach most placed in the Metroplex, and the nightlife in the lobby can be hopping. This hotel has plenty of potential, but the management needs to look at fine tuning some of the small things which add up to a big difference.

Hotwire $75 a night was the only redeeming feature of our 3 night stay at The Westin. I though a 4 star hotel whose rooms go for over $400 a night usually would be a very comfortable affair. I am glad I booked through hotwire because I would NOT have paid $400 a night for their rooms. When you walk into The Westin you are greeted by a great open and inviting area, the bar and food area are off to one side, very fancy, very gorgeous, the booking area off to another and the whole place is just beautiful. Then you get on the elevators. We were staying on the 11th floor, when we entered the hall my stomach began to sink. The carpets were dirty and stained, the walls had obviously had art on them at one time but now just had sun stained spots where the portraits once hung. There was food left out in the hallways that looked to have been there for days, there were broken glasses too. The walls were scuffed and the whole place was just dark and dingy. Our room, while clean, was rather small, there was no mini bar or fridge. On their website they advertise their amenities to include Wi-Fi. Which, I guess it does, but you must pay $14 a day to connect to their Wi-Fi. We, luckily, had signed up for what ever visitor card it is they offer at booking so we did not have to pay for their Wi-Fi or parking. Oh yes, parking is also $14 a day if you don't sign up for their visitor card. The room was hot and humid, there was a slight mildewy dank smell to it.
