Reviews of The Beeman Hotel 3*
I took my family here to lighten the mood after a family funeral. I thought it looked modern and fun. I got on the phone with one of my wife's high school friends and help them reunite. All seemed well upon arrival. Front desk staff could not check in at 1:45 which was understandable. She told me to check back at 2:00. Our friend and her two children arrived hoping to get checked in at 2:00 as well. We waiting in the lobby, gave considerable patronage to the bar. At 2:00 I was told by front desk staff that it would be 3:00 now. They just couldn't make it happen. So I took to social media because I started to get a bad feeling about this establishment. Boy was I right. I'm a 100% disabled vet. Now this is the good part. I had twin 5yo girls and an 8 year old. I had a cart full of luggage ready to go. She came to tell me she had a room ready. I go to front desk, get key cards, go to room 706. Room 706 is uncleaned from the guest who stayed there. So I took my girls and the cart back down. I get sent to 516. Lucky for me the Army Ranger staying in that room was not there when I walked in via keycard. I noticed his fatigues and military pack as well as a very nice AR-15 freshly cleaned in the corner next to the bed. So now the front desk is putting my life and my three small girls lives in mortal danger for possible accidental trespassing! We just got lucky.
It was ok. The fragrance they had piercing the hotel was so strong. They had some safety hazard outside with wires sticking out of the ground. Be careful if you have kids. The lobby was beautiful. I hated I had to pay $100 deposit. I hope I get it back soon! I appreciate the loved the band and the nice bartenders.
Presentation was beautiful whole atmosphere was awesome. And big ups to the chef the food was delicious.! shout out to the bartender also Excellent service and drinks…
Great boutique hotel, with excellent customer service, and a local, hip vibe.
We set up a block of rooms for my son’s wedding. Very poor communication with the hotel. They do not get back to you in a timely manner. I never imagined that if we had a problem with the wedding that it would be the hotel. They had many people with multiple rooms. The mother of the bride had two rooms under her name. I brought this to their attention and they said they would call her to confirm. They did call and she said she needed 1 room. At check in they didn’t have a reservation for her at all. They did manage to get her a room😳. The check in process took everyone 30 minutes to 90 minutes. We had brought welcome gift bags for each guest in our party and some guest never received a bag. I wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel.
Wedding Night Ruined
We decided on The Beeman after seeing how close it was to our favourite areas. After getting married we went to check in which was lovely, staff were not an issue at all. I was, however, surprised to see a $100 deposit request after buying the room for the evening beforehand and giving my card over for a holding in case of damages or room service. Then I was explained I’d receive the $100 back by 2/5 working days; that was three weeks ago and I am still waiting on my money.
My new husband was so sick with his asthma after the air con did not go below 70, the unit itself rattled so hard we were awake on the hour thinking someone was breaking into the room.
Even after attempting to go to sleep we ended up on our Honeymoon morning leaving the site at 7am to check out and drive home for a good rest.
I cannot believe the one time you choose the happiest day of your life turned into such a sad experience. I do not recommend. I do not give any stars. I do not think the hotel would give a good wedding service and definitely not a decent Wedding Night experience at all. Absolutely ruined.
Still waiting on a reply. Still waiting on my refund of deposit. Do they have an e-mail? Nope.
Ah man, I’m not even a person to ever complain but my WEDDING night? Not cool.
Basically an upscale hotel with attentive service and higher than average quality in the the food, rooms, and products provided. Easy parking and egress to the comfortable rooms with full walk-in showers.
After a cancelled flight my fiancé booked this room. We had a challenging night, but as soon as we walked through the doors the night improved! The night manager was so kind & the bed was very awesome. We had a great nights sleep! Thank-you Beeman Hotel!
This was the BEST time we have ever had in a hotel! The staff is AMAZING (shout out to Ms. Tabby, who made our stay a memorable one! ) and the facilities are PERFECT! We had so much fun, we didn’t really leave the hotel. My husband (who is incredibly picky) said he would make a four hour trip again JUST to stay at The Beeman Hotel! 🥳 That’s saying something! Thanks for a GREAT weekend!
I was very impressed with the Beeman hotel. Decided to book last minute so I could be close to the Granada for a concert. The staff was very courteous and attentive. I enjoyed the wallpaper treatment to the ceiling in the front lobby and all the stylistic choices in the reception area. Unique art throughout. I wish I had taken a picture of the carpet in the hallway, it was a trip! When I checked in I was placed next door to a screaming baby so made a call to the front desk and they switched me promptly. The new room was spacious and elegantly designed. It was perfect for everything that I needed. Only negative comment would be there still seem to be a lot of background noise coming through the windows from being right by the highway. But, great value for the money.
Parking was not secured and our car got vandalized $5000 worth l. Hotel did not do anything.
Honest Review: We just stayed here a few days ago. This is a really nice and upscale hotel. The staff is friendly and they are adhering to COVID guidelines well. The location is perfect. You turn right into the hotel upon getting off the expressway. What I didn't like is the hard beds and extra expensive food from the restaurant. They should do a little better on prices. And they nobody informed us that an extra hundred dollars would be taken out of our account added onto our stay. They said it would be put back in our account after check out. Currently still waiting on it. But overall, we had a good peaceful stay with a good view!
Room, food and friendly staff.
This hotel was recently renovated and has beautiful decor! It is very clean and the wood floors add to its charm. The staff is all very courteous. I can’t wait to stay here again.
We are evacuees from Louisiana and the staff has been amazing to us especially Mrs. Jacqueline (my son calls her his angel) & Mrs Tabby /Tabithathey are the absolute best The rooms are amazing very comfortable and clean. I would highly recommend staying here if you're around this area you will not be disappointed.
Very nice hotel for the price. In this area of town I expected it to be nice. For the $99 we paid I was skeptical. But it was well worth the money. You can tell it’s an old building that’s been updated. Bathroom was kind of tight. But it was nice and they serve milk and cookies at night.
I stay here whenever I’m in Dallas! Love this hotel. The ambiance is great, the rooms are clean, and the customer service is tremendous. I’ve used the workout room a few times — it’s small, as many hotel fitness rooms are, but is clean and has everything you need. The cookies and milk each night are an added bonus! I haven’t found another hotel in the area that comes close to matching the quality you get here for the price. Thanks Magnolia!
My husband and I have been to both locations in Dallas. Always so accommodating to us and our dog. They don't charge any extra for pups! We have been to many other hotels that charge just as much but offer so little compared to Magnolia. They have clean, updated rooms that you feel comfortable laying on their sheets, using their towels and walking on their carpets! We will only choose Magnolia when we're in Dallas visiting!
Comfortable amenities for a reasonable price. Friendly helpful staff. I have both stayed here and been to conferences here. Happy hour at the bar is good and they provide cookies and milk for your bedtime snack! Cafe is of standard fare for food, no 5 star dining, but it will do the job.
Second time staying here while visiting Dallas. Service was beyond friendly and accommodating. Will checked us in and made us feel very welcome. The rooms of course are modern, clean and I had a great sleep. I love the fact that they use dispensers for bath products, cutting down on plastic waste — keeping it modern all the way around. The lobby is spacious with modern elegance, and a great place to meet up for a cocktail.
Amazing hotel, really enjoyed our stay here. We arrived late at night and the front desk was kind enough to offer us a slightly later checkout. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, perfect for a much needed sleep. Everything was fresh and modern with lots of options for food and other amenities like a pool and a restaurant onsite. Would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay here again next time we pass through Dallas.
This place is so great! Great location next to downtown, unique decor and overall style, easy access off the freeway. The room itself was cute, clean, and decent-sized, bed was comfy. Pretty quiet too, for how full the hotel appeared to be. Will def stay again!
We were really impressed by Magnolia Place Hotel in Dallas. The staff at the desk was friendly and our check in and out was very smooth. They also were kind enough to let us check out a little late because we were playing a show at Gas Monkey Bar. One of the best parts of the hotel is modern, chic vibe it has. There is also an ample amount of parking which is really important especially in Dallas and also because we had an RV. It also has an awesome bar inside to grab a couple drinks with friends or hang out at. Our room was very clean and well appointed. The beds were super comfy also!
Now THIS is an amazing hotel, right in downtown Dallas; a first stay for us at a Magnolia property. The lobby and bar area are architectural masterpieces; the décor so warm and stylish. The font desk was well staffed and took no time at all to get us checked in, we also loved the cookies. Room was super clean and comfy; really enjoyed the premium soap and shampoo. Killer food; the breakfast buffet was exceptional and we also enjoyed the coffee shop. Big fans of the 24-hour gym as well and slick indoor pool. The 24 hr business center was a lifesaver as well. This was such a treat for my band; it will be hard to stay at any other hotels after this great experience. 10/10
I will never stay at this hotel again. I was past the datedness and tiny bathrooms with dirty shower head / shower supply unit, but their elevators did not work at all. We got stuck in them at least twice each day we were there (Thur to Sun). From the inside, you had to push the interior elevator doors together for it to go. On our last day, we tried to help people stuck in the elevator (pushing the doors together wasn’t working) and the staff were in no rush to help. You could hear the people screaming and setting off the fire alarm in the elevator but nothing was being done. When we went to the front desk and said, no one is helping those screaming in the elevator, the front desk woman said she would let a manager know, but didn’t appear to contact them. We were hoping for a great weekend in this hotel as it had stunning pictures and pretty good reviews but we will never be returning and my future recommendation to others would be stay away — there are plenty of other options in the area. You definitely do not get what you pay for here.
Our client, nationally touring musician Nick Dittmeier, recently stayed here while on tour and had a fantastic stay! The luxurious property is a welcome comfort while far from home and the hospitality is top-notch and definitely what you would expect in Dallas. The room was perfect, clean and quiet, and the on-site restaurant was a perfect place to get some dinner before the gig. Thank you for taking such great care of him while under your roof and we look forward to sending our clients to stay with you in the future!
I did not get to stay here due to check-in problems but besides that I had a pleasant experience. I was picked up from the airport and given an honest "tour" of the Dallas as we drove towards the Hotel. Even though I was not a guest, the driver did allow me to be driven towards my next destination which I thought was nice. I enjoyed staying in the lobby while waiting for my check — in time. Nice tvs and calm atmosphere and not too crowded bar area. I'd recommend despite not having stayed in a room.
Everything about my experience at the Magnolia was amazing. The room was updated, clean and comfortable. It is as close to the SMU campus as you can get. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating and helpful and I have absolutely zero complaints. Big shot out to Fransisco at the bar who went out of his way to help me catch my flight! I will definitely be back again soon.
Hotel was great, and everyone was very nice. Bed was comfy, and room was a good size. The one in downtown Dallas has a but more charm and I missed there garden tubs. But I would definitely stay here again.
Our client, nationally touring comedian Greg Henderson, recently stayed here while on tour and had a fantastic stay!
Nice enough hotel. Staff are friendly and the room was pretty good. I did like the purple LED lighting along the headboards. It provides good ambient lighting. Also good service in the bar. I’d stay again.
Our client, nationally touring comedian Jake Daniels, recently stayed here while on tour and had a fantastic stay!
Perfect location and right next to the freeway. So If you are passing through there is great access. A very friendly staff that helped direct me to closest places to find food. The room I was in was very clean and comfortable and I loved how the bed had so many pillows. There is a bar located right near the lobby so you can have a drink before bed if you desire. There is also a very nice pool. The parking lot area is well lit and there are signs warning of video recording happening which made me feel very secure about leaving my vehicle. The parking is free which is even better! Love this place and will stay here every chance I get!
My husband and I stayed here for a romantic night out. The lobby was beautiful and the staff were very hospitable and professional. We however didn't enjoy our room. The bathroom was tiny and dirty with visible stains on the walls, of all places. There were lots of small details throughout the room, that were easily visible, that made us wonder how poorly the renovation to this building must have been. It was shotty work at best. Also, we questioned the cleanliness of everything. Not worth the price we paid. The room was on par with a renovated motel 6. We've stay at Holiday Inn and had a much more comfortable stay. Again, great staff and ambiance upon entering. Just wished the rooms themselves we're at the same standard. We left after 4 hours. We decided we were to uncomfortable and would rather just go home.
Our own resident comedian and travel blog author Bill Boronkay recently stayed here while on tour and had a fantastic stay! The luxurious property is a welcome comfort while far from home and the hospitality is top-notch and definitely what you would expect in Dallas. The room was perfect, clean and quiet, and the on-site restaurant was a perfect place to get some dinner before the gig. Thank you for taking such great care of Bill while under your roof, he's already looking forward to staying again!
This is a nice hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious. Bathroom was a little small. It was tight for 1 person to get ready. It would be impossible for 2 to get ready at the same time. Lobby is nice. Restaurant is very good compared to other hotel restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Very nice venue. Next to nice set of eateries. Close to the airport. The rooms are pretty good size and the cleaning staff is very nice. The shuttle service is good but you need to remember to reserve in advance, as there appears to be limited shuttles. There are nice added touches like evening cookies and milk while still having nice amenities like pool, fitness center, and business center. Overall, I think it is a good hotel.
As traveling musicians it is always delightful to come across a hotel like Magnolia on our travels. Immediately we noticed ample parking in front of the hotel. We were greeted by a friendly staff who struck up a friendly conversation with me once they saw the guitar over my shoulder. The check-in process was quick and painless. Our room was very nice with a large bathroom and plenty of room to stretch out. After a nap in the comfy bed I went and worked out in the hotel’s fitness center. I loved the options they had-from free weights to machines to treadmills. I came back to the room and rinsed off. The shower pressure was awesome. And the location was very convenient to many great restaurants and shops in the area. Overall this was a wonderful experience and super affordable! We will be staying here again on our next visit to Dallas.
Rooms are good. Breakfast buffet has a good selection but has been the same items everyday. Some variety would be nice. The lunch menu has changed eached day and has been great. We've had meatloaf wrapped in bacon, tacos, fajitas, grilled cheese with ham, soup, and more. Cookies at night are great!
Was in to visit family and since I was with my girlfriend, wanted to try a nicer hotel than I'm used to. I think the Magnolia Hotel is going to be my new Dallas spot. The hotel was clean and spacious. The bar/restaurant was great for catching football (I arrived on a Sunday afternoon). Unfortunately, I had to tear away to pick up my girlfriend from a conference she was attending. When we came back, we decided to try the hotel bar/restaurant for dinner and a drink. The bartender (think his name was Francisco) was terrific. Fun, efficient, let us sample drinks before deciding and recommended a terrific dinner. He couldn't have been better. The room was great. We had a king, with a sitting area, large desk, refridgerator and plenty of space (tricky considering how much my girlfriend packs). The bed was incredibly comfortable, great night's sleep. Pressed for time, my girlfriend got breakfast from room service (raved about the yogurt parfait). I walked by the buffet (looked great) as I went to the fitness center. The fitness center had a full set of dumb bells, a cable machine, a row of treadmills and a couple stationary bikes-so much more than most hotels. We spent the day with family and came back for the tail end of happy hour but we did catch fresh cookies and milk (we may actually still have a couple cookies in our luggage). The biggest thing both of us noticed was how friendly, fun and helpful the staff was.
Absolute worst example of customer service I've experienced in some time. GM was more focused on following the "system", then trying to assist a frequent customer at his location. I'll definitely head to the Parkland then spend another night at this place!
Awful customer service. Awful service all together. They do not care about there guests, you are simply just a number to them. Please stay somewhere else. Do not give them your money. Go spend it somewhere else that will be appreciated more and you will be treated like you matter. It is so poorly run and they charge you like its a nice hotel or something. There are much better experiences all around this area for a much better price. Stay away!
It's a nice hotel. I think the room is average. It's clean but no fridge and no complimentary water (they do offer $4 Voss water though, if you don't want to pay your mortgage this month and get water instead. Seriously, it's a $4 bottle of water. ) The hotel offered milk and cookies which was nice. The hotel bar has nice drink options. The food looks good and reasonably priced.
Had a great stay here in Dallas! The hotel was very easy to find, and the hotel staff was top notch. The staff made sure you were having a great stay, as they went above and beyond. They were friendly and very knowledgeable of the surrounding Dallas area. The hotel lobby had a little sports bar — the food was incredible and the drinks were reasonably priced. The hotel rooms were very quiet and very clean — one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. I recommend getting a room on a higher floor so you can see a great view of Dallas. The morning breakfast buffet is definitely worth the extra $ — amazing food and great healthy choices!
The breakfast is NOT up to par with the price. They only have two elevators up to the rooms which take FOREVER. You can't even walk down the stairs to the first floor unless you want to set off the fire alarm which forces you to wait on the elevator. Doors to the rooms don't close fully when leaving the room in a rush. You can spend your money better elsewhere. Don't bother with this place.
Good location. Extremely welcoming and friendly staff. Complimentary cookies were delicious. Room was clean and comforting. Bar was lively and the food was enjoyable. Would stay here again.
Got a room off hotel tonight for 94$, it was updated and smelled clean, sheets were clean, everything looked very nice. We brought our dog with us (they don't charge a fee/deposit! ) and everyone was super friendly, will definitely be staying there again if the price is right.
The hotel was pretty disappointing. The pictures looked pretty stellar and the lobby looks pretty great but that was the end of the great impression. The good- — Super convenient location right off 75 by Mockingbird Station. — Walking distance to a ton of stuff. — Decent atmosphere at the hotel bar. — The lighting in the room was pretty cool. — The body wash smelled like fruit loops and I'm a fan of fruit loops. The bad — — The front desk staff weren't super helpful. Not rude, just not going above and beyond. — Housekeeping came in and folded towels but didn't make the bed or do anything with the sheets. When I asked about it, the front desk told me I could call the next morning to request service. — There was a stack of dirty towels in our hallway for our entire stay… they obviously weren't in my way but I'm curious about what less obvious cleaning details are missed. I wouldn't stay here again. If you are expecting a 2-2.5 star hotel, this place really isn't bad for that level but if you are wanting something nicer, I'd look elsewhere.
If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… The guy manager was great. He took really good care of us. He ask why we were there. And it was because my husband sister was in ICU. And my husband is a army solider. And he told us personally he would make sure we were taking care of. So I would like to say thank you to him I forgot his name he was a young African America gentlemen. And this lady I believe she was a manager too but she took my 4 year son and made him so happy. Thank you guys fort being awesome and being there for us when we truly needed it. The room breakfast was amazing.

This was a great place to take the family. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The only thing is the restroom is to small. But other than that we loved it. The hotel had free breakfast, free complimentary drinks for the adults and cookies and milk for the kids at night. The pool was indoor for the kids and it was awesome since we were there in December. They also have a great workout room with great workout equipment. We loved this place and will consider coming back again.
It is a 4 star experience for the price of a 3 star. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have ever had. I also loved the evening beer and wine reception. The cookie bar in the evening was also a nice treat.
Good location. Free buffet breakfast. 2 free drinks in the evening. Milk and cookies at night. Bed is comfortable and room is good size. Bathroom is very small.
I was given a gift card for one night stay. We arrived at almost midnight I believe. We had a few friends over for a little while and then we went to bed. We check out at 9am. We were literally there for 8 to 9 hours. I wake up this morning and see a 400.00 charge. I called the hotel to find out when those charges will drop off, only to be told it was a 400.00 smoking fee. I told her that when we got there the hallway and room smelled of smoke. I thought nothing of it I just thought it was a smoking room. We never smoked in that room.
A fantastic property! We've stayed here twice now, and both times we had top-notch experiences. The staff is friendly and accomodating, plenty of parking (even with a trailer), and the rooms are modern and ultra-comfortable. Lots of amenities like a great breakfast selection, as well as a happy hour with two free drinks for guests! I was also very impressed with the state-of-the-art equipment in the fitness center — touch-screen treadmills! Would highly recommend this property for anyone traveling for business or pleasure.
Amazing property! Great pool and gym. Has all the necessities. The pool is indoors. Hot, buffet breakfast is amazing too. It's similar to the quality of a Mother's Day brunch. Bed and pillows are so good. Did not want to get up. Can't wait to stay there again.
This place was great! Friendly staff. Very clean. Good food. The price was well below what we got. Can't wait to go back.
The room was not clean the bathroom fixtures have not been updated or changes in years the tub was flaking material and needs to be replaced. The mini bar was banged up and scratched. The hall ways were blazing. When I took elevator it's took over 7 minutes. That is completely ridiculous for a 8 story hotel with 3 elevators. I reported problems to the front desk and it took over 2 days before they were addressed by a manager. Posted on social media the marketing PR has yet to try and rectify my discontent.
I love the indoor pool, and the lobby is spacious with frequent meet-and-greets. Free breakfast in the AM, drinks in the evening and cookies and milk at night. Great environment!
I had an amazing stay at the Magnolia Hotel Dallas Park Cities! I was instantly impressed with its convenient location. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel had cookies and milk available for the guests and a cocktail hour for hotel stayers. If that doesn't set this hotel apart, the room will. Great views from the higher floors, flat screen tvs, clean and modern showers, and one of the most comfortable beds I've ever had the privilege of sleeping in! I cannot wait to return to Dallas so that I can stay on again at the Magnolia Hotel!
It's a very nice hotel, and the rooms are really comfortable. The only downside is the staff seems a little undertrained. They don't seem sure on how to do things in their computer system.
My new favorite hotel. Sleek design and a comfy room. Great staff and the hotel had all the amenities. Free beer and wine AND free milk and cookies. Plenty of shopping in the area and places to grab a bite to eat. Would definitely stay there again. I forgot my shaving cream and the front desk gave me some for free! I even saw the staff keeping the breakfast area well-stocked even when it was close to the end of breakfast time. The room was clean! The beds were great. The shower was huge! I loved it.
Im a traveling comedian and I stay in a lot of hotel rooms and I can say this is one of my favorites. The bed was amazing, the room was huge and the staff was friendly. I lost my key a couple times they didnt make me feel like a moron. Not only do they have a continental breakfast, they have nightly milk and cookies… thats the first time ive ever seen that and I dug it. Nice place, friendly staff and right near downtown.
First let me say I like this hotel. It's convenient and close to shopping and restaurants. Rooms are nice. Check in was easy and desk attendant was very courteous. However… Strike 1-Got to the room and immediately noticed there was something major missing in the bathroom-the shower curtain. I told the housekeeping lady working in the next room that we were missing a shower curtain and she looked at me with a blank stare. I realized "no habla Ingles". So I called the front desk, they apologized and sent someone up fairly quickly. Strike 2-The next day we were out all day and when we came back to the room that evening, we noticed no trash cans had been emptied, no replacements on toiletry items, cups, coffee, nor beds made up, or dirty towels on tub replaced. We didn't really need the sheets changed and didn't put the sign on the bed saying we needed a bed change but it would have been nice to have the beds at least made up and trash emptied. And we didn't hang a do not disturb sign on the door so I guess housekeeping just didn't come by. I mentioned this to the front desk-once again they apologized and said they would discount me on my room. I'll be checking my credit card statement. Strike 3-we "heard" about a free wine/beer bar but no employee mentioned this to us. No big deal but I wish they would have at least informed us of that. During my last stay at this hotel, they didn't even inform us of the free breakfast buffet.
Decent, quiet location if you have a car, nothing directly around there besides SMU and a mall. Rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast is very basically, nothing hot besides eggs, sausage and oatmeal. There is also a slight lack of separate tables for breakfast at peak time, so expect to share one with another group. The evening milk and cookies are a charming touch.
Stayed for a week. Very nice accommodations and love the free beer/wine happy hour. Plus — free fresh baked cookies at 8pm. We ate at the restraunt one night and it was pretty good. The morning breakfast was also good quality. I would recomend staying here.
This place was great. The shower pressure and hot water worked great. The bed was super comfy, as were the pillows. We had been on the road a week when we stayed there, and it was a real battery charger. We've been on the road 4 days since and I keep wishing we were staying at the Magnolia Hotel. Thanks for putting us up. If I'm ever in Dallas again, I'll definitely be staying there.
I have stayed at the Downtown Dallas property twice, it was booked solid so I thought I would try Park Cities location. While convenient to my activities the front desk personnel made my stay un-enjoyable. Arrived January 1 for one night and was treated poorly, even checking out wasn't pleasant. At least Don in the bar made us feel welcome. Already looking at staying at another property in the area if I need to stay in this locale. The location is good, the foyer and dining areas where lovely. My room, however, had a toilet that ran all the time and the room door wouldn't lock unless you slammed it about 5 times.
The service was very good. Free cookies, a very rich breakfast.
We were with a large group for a wedding. The hotel is pretty. Bed was comfortable. General staff had a "can't do" attitude. Don, the evening driver was quite pleasant and accommodating. This hotel is one to avoid for wedding/group stays.
It was a typical hotel that your not scared to climb under the sheets. The breakfast was decent but the eggs were undercooked. The worst part was the Wi-Fi, I couldn't Skype with my family due to slow internet.
Its beautiful place from ball rooms to suites. The food is great and tasty.
Quick check in, rooms were a good size, and they provided cookies in the evening which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, it was a great place to stay and would return.
Our room smelled weird and bathroom didn't have a vent.
Decent hotel open lobby not that much atmosphere. Service was good.
We had MAJOR issues here and would NEVER stay here again. The customer service (Bailey) was horrible and was very rude. I booked a room for my husband to stay there under my name so that I could use my Honors points. My husband had the card that I used to make the reservation and yet, when he got there they would not let him check in until they emailed me a paper to fill out. Which, I then had to scan back in and email back. Then, the next morning, he tried to extend his stay for another night, and they told him that I would have to fill out another paper to stay another night even though I specifically checked the spot on the paper I signed the night before stating that he could extend his stay if needed. So, he decided just to go somewhere else. But they ended up charging our account for two nights anyway, plus an extra $50.00 to our account with no explanation! We are VERY displeased.
Its an average place with 2.50 bad coffee.
I stayed 2 nights in this hotel and I probably won't go back. STAFF: non-informative, doesn't know the area so can't help you get anywhere. Really short with their answers. The Maid services disregards your "do not disturb" sign and will still try their keys to enter your room. My friends has the cleaning ladies come on in with the sign on their door and luckily we had our chain on the door so they were stopped short of coming in and yes we had our sign in the key lock. So they have to physically remove that key lock sign to insert theirs to open the door! Why have a sign if they ignore it anyway. ROOM: Very clean and neat. Small. I upgraded to "The executive suite" because online they offered free breakfast and bathrobes. NO bathrobes and I had to fight the front desk about the free breakfast. I would have saved me time and money if I would have just booked a regular room. Nothing special about an executive suite. FOOD: extremely over priced. $14.95 for 4-5 buffet options and the coffee is charged separate when their is FREE coffee 20 feet away at front desk! SAME coffee! Good thing I fought for my free breakfast vouchers! SERVICE: They will offer to call a cab for you, but good luck actually getting it. They don't ask for your name or room number and we waited 45 minutes before we had to ask them and they called and said someone else took our cab and we would have to wait longer.
If you need Wi-Fi for work, forget about staying here. The hotel and staff are nice, the food is good — but the Wi-Fi is horrible.
This hotel was a pleasure to stay at. The room was spacious, clean and attractive. The bathroom was small and the coffee provided made weak coffee. The bed was very, very comfortable and the air was easily controlled and pleasant. No microwave or fridge in room but available for a charge. The lobby/lounge/restaurant areas are beautiful, clean and relaxing. The food was delicious, whether the hot breakfast buffet with the wonderful fresh fruit or ordered from the menu. No free breakfast. Fransisco and Evelina are the stars on this stage as they rushed to provide service in a warm, happy manner. Always smiling, always looking to provide great service. Donald, shuttle driver/bellperson, was quick to provide service when we first arrived by unloading the car and bringing everything to the room and unloading and setting everything up for us. Very gracious and always quick to help in any way he could. Mike, the night desk master, was always happy to visit and take suggestions for improvements. Great sense of humor. Lera and Diana and Belinda, who keeps everything tip-top at the front desk, always had a smile and made everyone feel so welcome as they arrived. Now, this hotel's treasure, Robert. Robert is the shuttle driver/bellperson/helper extraordinaire. Always smiling and providing the best information about the area. 19 years on the job and oh the stories he can tell about the changes in the area through the years. Always on time to pick us up and always gracious.
