Helpful servers, good food.

Horrible experience. Rude front desk staff. Broken ac. No hot water in sink. Broken mini fridge. Broken TV. Housekeeping repeatedly ignores the do not disturb sign. Pool attendants / bartenders not courteous. No response from manager after 5 days despite being promised follow up upon checking out.

We happened on the place looking for dinner. Great Bar, great bartender. Refused to divulge the recipe of a daiquiri he concocted for us… it had cilantro, caramelized banana, and was frothy like there was egg whites in it, but there weren’t. It was a great drink. For the meal I had an octopus dish, on some hummus with olives and parsley… it was exceptional. Great food, great drinks… service that was intelligent and kind. What more could your ask for? Bravo!

This hotel romances you with mid century modern aesthetics and thoughtful amenities. The staff balances warmth and flawless service leaving guests well taken care of and at ease. The restaurant, CBD Provisions, is excellent. Anna, the pool bartender, makes a perfect mojito.

My husband and I had a mini-moon (small honeymoon) and we had an amazing time at this hotel. The service was impeccable between the valet, the hotel staff, and the restaurant staff. The chef even came to our table to make sure our steak was cooked to our liking, which it was. The only negative we had was the spa staff, as the gentleman and young lady did not seem keen to service us, as we had to greet them first, since they were quiet upon entry, and they didn't offer any services, I had to prompt them so it left an uneasy feeling so my husband and I left. Other than that, the hotel was amazing and I would definitely go again!

Great experience! We were celebrating my bffs bachelorette and Tray from concierge was the BEST! He went to party city for me and got balloons and decor AND decorated it for us before check in! Great food and wonderful staff!

Best spa in Dallas… perhaps in Texas! Our room was 550 square feet and the architecture was amazing! The technology in the rooms, the art work, the complimentary perks, staff/service, restaurants inside (3+), book store and other amenities make this WAY better than the Ritz, Adolphus and ZaZa! Prices at the spa are not bad… a little high but well worth it, meanwhile the room prices were much lower than expected. We paid $350 per night at The Joule. To contrast: We have paid up to $550 per night at other hotels that were only about half as great.

Whenever I go to a city for work I want to stay at a boutique hotel away from the Convention Center. This was the most convenient location and excellent service. I would recommend this hotel for all occasions.

No longer allow guests to buy a day pass to use the spa facilities as of November 1st. Didn't let customers who were booked already know. And made no effort of be helpful. Just a "Yeah, that's a bummer for you".

Me and a party of 7 recently stayed 9/14-15 at joule hotel for a bachelorette party! It was fabulous staying in your Deluxe loft suite on 18th floor. The service was excellent and the car service was first class! Thanks for the free bottle of Champagne ♥️♥️♥️

I was at The Joule for an event and it’s just cool and stylish and yet, relaxing. I’ve never been to the terrace and it’s a great view of that area of downtown.

My husband and I went for our anniversary and this place is beautiful and chic. The rooms are very modern and have nice amenities. The bed is so cozy and what I loved the most about our room was the design of the bathroom. The shower was gorgeous. The infinity pool is on the 10th floor and it's lovely especially at night. It's a bit on the small side but the view at night is so beautiful. We stopped by the coffee shop that morning and I got an iced coffee with a blueberry lemon muffin which was good. The hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. Oh and I forgot to mention we received a complimentary bottle of champagne with some chocolate-covered strawberries for our anniversary. Which we enjoyed! This hotel is pretty chic/posh. We will definitely be back!

An outstanding property, comparable to properties in San Francisco, LA or Chicago. Better the Trump Tower in Chicago and a hard match for The Adolphus a few doors down. From check in to check out, I couldn't find fault with anything. The art installations and public spaces make it tough to stay camped out in the room but if you do stay in your room, well that's fine too.

Great property in the heart of downtown. Modern well appointed comfortable design. Nice rooms, rooftop pool that hangs out over the street with a bar and lounge area. Also has a very cool subterranean spa.

Overall, very nice, modern, clean place with helpful front desk but lacks a wow factor to make it a five star rating. Both the hotel and room were well kept and updated. Downtown location was nice but means that valet parking is the only options other than street parking. Good for a shorter visit but doesn't leave a large impression like a physically larger hotel or resort can.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff makes you feel as though you are their only guest. It was very busy the Saturday we stayed. There were 3 separate weddings going on and we were constantly dodging photoshoots. Normally this would be no issue but we were looking forward to a relaxing getaway for the weekend and it was quite the opposite. I would definitely return, and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is solely based on it being too busy. Everything else was outstanding.

We try to visit the spa once a week on Sunday afternoons, the Couple's massage is the best in Dallas, also I think the pool area of the spa is the only coed pool in Dallas. Highly recommend.

We’ve stayed at The Joule 3 times over the past 3 months… we love this spot! It’s hidden in downtown Dallas and has tons of amenities. When we arrive we never leave the property. There’s no need to they have everything you need within. This is truly a couples spot. The spa, the food, the pool and the service is all 5 star. Great job Joule!

Had an awesome one night stay here with my dogs. I felt super welcome and that my dogs were truly welcome as well. The staff were all fantastic, especially Carson from the front desk. The pool is smaller than I thought it was going to be from pictures, but crowding was certainly not an issue the Monday afternoon I was there. They were never more than 3 guests at a time. It is a very nice area. I definitely look forward to returning to the Joule.

The hotel environment and decor is lovely. Valet and room service, not so much. It was bad enough that we couldn't seem to get two large pots of coffee in the morning but that turned out to be minor. Our vehicle was damaged while in the care of the valet. Upon departure, we were assured that repairs would be swift and to our standard. After leaving, the story changed. The manager requested three estimates for repairs despite our informing him that our lease would be affected by seeking repairs anywhere other than a certified Mercedes Benz dealer. Apparently, shorting us the funds to repair was more important than keeping a customer This is too much ineffective customer service to warrant a return trip. The Mansion is close enough to this location to be our first choice next time.

Fantastic establishment. There are beautiful mosaics taken from the walls of an old downtown bank that was demolished throughout the entire hotel. It is considered a historical landmark so finding the valet parking can be a bit difficult, but it is very very worth it. I genuinely enjoy the atmosphere of this hotel!

In experiencing The Joule, the saying you get what you pay for fits oh so well. The service in itself was exceptional, as well as the presentation was on 100% up to par. From the lobby to the actual room showed that this establishment really took pride in making sure that their guest fully enjoyed their stay and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. My favorite staycation! I love staying at the Joule when I can. The staff is always wonderful, the spa is relaxing (but I prefer to come on a weekday), and one of my favorite restaurants is down in their lobby. I also stayed here for my wedding and my photos were just perfect. They also allow pets!

The Joule is a lovely hotel — beautiful artwork, great spa, wonderful restaurants! We did run into a little issue of them misplacing our car and after the manager got involved they did a terrific job of not only solving the problem but going above and beyond the call of duty to make the customer happy. It was truly an incredible experience. Thank you to time, Samuel and Andrew for not only solving the problem but assuring that we will return soon! I know this is typical for these to be pricey, but $7 for a bag of popcorn or $16 for an omelette is a bit outrageous and made us not want to enjoy them.

A lot of places provide great rooms and great services. The Joule creates memories. I had the pleasure of visiting the joule for my honeymoon. Everything thing about this place was amazing. From the art to the service and everything in between was just jaw dropping. We also visited the midnight rambler and had some really unique and tasty cocktails. The breakfast the next morning was perfect and room service is great. I would also like to specifically thank Micheal and Danny, for providing us personalized service and making our evening one not to forget.

Like a good look into the eyes or a firm hand shake it’s all about intrinsic first impressions. From the chef, valet runner, a steward, or hotel operator, every single service display plays a significant part. The sultry vibe that met me at the door was sealed with an encore of smiling faces. From the pattern of the floors, the suede navy sofas, the ambiance of art pieces was inviting. The brilliance of its simplicity of glass that marched around the room and bathroom gave the aroma of the whole experience at the Joule delightful. My daughter’s birthday will be a lasting memory for years to come. Thank you! Everything was extraordinary, elegant, with a touch of class. We will definitely plan on visiting again.

Planned a corporate meeting here and the staff set the bar for service. Hotel is also in a prime location and rooms are very comfortable. Love the double head shower!

We had the best time. The hotel was fabulous and the room was awesome. The tub was a winner! Dinner at the Americano was delicious. Met Chad the owner of the speak easy, Midnight Rambler. You must go and ask for an Aviation. It was perfect!

While I waited for the wrap to work it's magic, I enjoyed a scalp massage with essential oils designed to benefit the hair. I would give 10 stars if I could! The most beautiful boutique hotel in Dallas! Huge jetted soaking tub turn down service, the bed was so comfortable I didn't want to leave the bed! The staff was amazing every single person we encountered was amazing! Props to the valet guys I felt so bad for them being stuck outside in the freezing weather but at least the had a propane heater that I also took advantage of while standing outside… will definitely return!

I just got back from a wonderful stay at the Joule with some girlfriends for a mommy-getaway. We were blown away by this place. Not only is this hotel aesthetically pleasing, but the staff really seeks out to accommodate their guests. There was a problem with the heated pool and the manager went above and beyond to make up for it. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and also be sure to visit again! A special shout out goes to the front desk manager, Peggy (house keeping) & Darrel (house car driver) — thank you for making a group of moms from Waco feel extra special!

The only thing better than the room was the staff! Seriously. From the moment we got out of the car at the curb, the quality of service we received was second to none. Danny greeted us immediately and walked us in with our stuff, along us about our day (we were still in our wedding clothes). He got us each a bottle of champagne and waited with our things while we checked in. We met Dan, the concierge. Dan was extremely professional and courteous. He provided us with a complimentary upgrade because it was our wedding day. An upgrade to the penthouse! The whole suite was absolutely amazing! Two stories, a wrap around balcony, a robot toilet, completely fantastic and extravagant. 10/10 will stay again!

Hermoso Hotel en pleno Downtown de DALLAS.!

Am I staying in a different hotel to everybody else?! The pool is green, sure the water is clean but the tiles are all covered in algae. The rooms need a little refurbishment, outlet covers come away from the walls, the lighting controls beside the bed don't work. The first room we were given was tiny and had a strange smell. We were relocated to a higher floor and the second room was much nicer and the desk staff were incredibly helpful, but the new room still needs a bit of love and an update. Toilet doors in pool area don't close properly, nobody is cleaning up after people leave and towels everywhere and empty glasses. For the price per night of this room compared to others we have stayed in on our trip across Texas I'd say this has been the most disappointing.

Had training there and our tables were nicely setup with fresh ice and water to self serve. When we would leave for a break and come back they would switch your water glass with a brand new clean one and refill the pitcher it was really nice. They were always restocking the tea, coffee and water in the back and you would never even know they were in there. The lunch that was provided to us was a little disappointing, I expected something very grand. They served some salad, salmon, potatoes, and the other option was tacos. I thought that was a little weird for this type of atmosphere and meeting. But I guess I can't really complain since it was provided to us. But all in all the Joule is beautiful the staff is amazing always opening doors, never catch them slacking!

The Joule is amazing. From when you walk into the lobby to the rooms, the place looks great. The infinity pool and spa are top notch and look as if you were in a 5 star hotel. All of staff were super friendly and make you feel at home. Will definitely be staying here more often.

Went for dinner for a bachelor party. Food was above average to exceptional. The time it took for the food to come out though was a bit over the top. We got compensated with free drinks though.

This was one of the best hotels I've stayed in, very clean and well maintained. The spa was amazing. The location is convenient and within walking distance to restaurants/shopping. The management and staff went above and beyond to correct a system error. Overall, great experience.

The staff was incredible, the hotel was very nice. There are 3 bars/restaurants connected to it, so you'll always have a nice variety. The rooftop pool was the best part. We spent 5 hours just lying around up there. Looking forward to coming back.

Loved our stay here. Rooms were a little warm, and the modern amenities are nice but frosted glass walls and a open top door for the toilet is a little much. Outstanding customer service, in room dining was excellent, midnight rambler was a great time, and the pool is awesome. Great bartenders all around. Worth the money to splurge a little and stay at the Joule.

The Joule needs to DROP the ESPA name. They are no longer associated with them. And ever since, it's gone down hill. Yet they still charge the same prices. I just visited today for my first time since they ended their partnership (or whatever you should call it) with ESPA. I paid $155 for a 50 min hot stone massage plus 20% automatic gratituity. $190. It was awful. In be last I've had wonderful massages and a fantastic facial there. The staff is unprofessional, the massage therapist had purple hair and gave a terrible massage. No bag offered for wet bathing suit. Had to ask — offered me a clear trash bag — I refused and they gave me one of their paper shopping bags intended for purchased products. What a shame. It was fantastic in the past when it was ESPA. I'll never return now.

Beautiful rooms with great modern designs. Food and drinks were lovely with unique flavors (poblano, mint, chiles). Nicely outfitted fitness room and beautiful terrace pool too!

We did a date night on Saturday for my husband's birthday. The staff was amazingly attentive starting with the doorman/valet. I am kind of glad it met our expectations spending this much for a room. Fantastic! We stayed for a weekend getaway. The staff was excellent. We enjoyed our terrace suite room with a balcony. The on site restaurants, bar, and spa were all perfect.

They greet you like royalty and treat you like royalty. I found have said family, but they really do test you like royalty. It was a rare experience where I didn't regret paying the expensive rate so much.

Loved everything about it! We staying at the hotel this past summer! The staff was, hands down, awesome, rooms clean and room service prompt, bar and restaurant great & LOVED the car service! Will definitely stay at the hotel again when we are in Dallas next summer! I often stay at higher end chain hotels when traveling and this is right up with the best! I don't have one bad thing to say about our stay!

Some of the best highest quality stuff in all of Dallas. Definitely worth the trip at least once. Or once a week if you're me.
