Had a great experience at the Hotel Indigo. The room was well designed and beautifully decorated. Service was great. Would stay again.

Pros: The hotel is clean. The staff is courteous. My husband and I enjoyed the drinks served in the bar, as well as the tasty loaded fries (which are big enough to share). The air conditioning and the cable work great. The price of a king room was affordable. Cons: The room is small. We had a view of an adjacent wall. Valet parking is $31.00 per day, with unlimited in and out privileges. Assessment: My husband and I would stay here again, because the location is great.

I wish there was a option for yes and no. The hotel was is a great location for us to explore, the rooms are good and the beds are comfortable. The problem is they gave is a note explaining road work when we checked in but the truth was if your not a sleeper that can tune out everything to sleep make sure you don't not get a room on the Elm Street side. I wish they would have told us there is a club on that side and they like to drag race until 4 am, the horse and carriage guy has a sound system attached that shakes the whole building because he rides back and forth down the street. Also, there is a parking lot that is used as a after hours right across the street so expect not to sleep until they leave. We have a 5 hour drive back home and gotten very little sleep over the past 2 nights. We're very exhausted and disappointed.

The staff was friendly from the time checking in to the time checking out they were very very helpful everyone there is courteous and very friendly the valet parking was excellent I can’t say a bad thing about it you would have to experience for yourself but you would love the place and you would definitely go back like I am.

This was my first time to stay there, but I would definitely stay there again. Absolutely loved my room and all of the staff were great!

My beat friend and I spent the weekend here and it was awesome! From check in to check out, we loved it. It’s is an ideal location… 15 min from Lovefield Airport, right next to True Kitchen, as well as other establishments. I highly recommend.

My husband and I spent the night on Valentine’s Day. Our room was awesome, so spacious. The front desk clerk was great, she even remembered who we were later when we needed to get our door key redone!

I love it, I mean for the price it is definitely one of IHG’s luxury hotels. If you aren’t a member go ahead and sign up. Make sure you earn for spending. The front desk was super nice and chill. The bar was nice, the bartender didn’t know how to make many drinks but after guiding him not too bad.

We arrived in Dallas a day early and were booked into The Crowne Plaza by our travel agent for the next night. The hotel was full last night and so we came across The Hotel Indigo by chance. Everyone on reception and car parking was just lovely. The young men in the evening sorted out a lovely room at a good rate. The morning lady in reception offered to take a photo of me when she saw me snapping the hotel. Breakfast and the servers were excellent. The hotel itself was modern, sophisticated and every room was beautifully designed. It also has a lot of fascinating history. I loved it. We are from UK but this does not mean we are not fussy and discerning! Also, car park right opposite if you don’t want valet parking. Superb.

I traveled millions of miles in my work history and this place is on my list of places to stay at in Dallas area.
It's clean! Super clean. No mildew under the soap dish, every crack and corner of the place is dust free. Smelled nice… I usually take photos and thrash bad hotels with reviews with proof but could not find any at this location.
I am a hotel snob. It has to be clean. It has to have comfortable beds. Has to have decent water pressure in the shower. Can not have… dirt or mildew/mold anywhere. This place checked all of my marks for an amazing hotel experience.
If I had to say anything, the staff could be a little more outgoing, or extroverted. Personally I like it when the staff of a hotel makes you feel as if you are family coming to visit. Or at least interested in boring chitchat with complete strangers. We travel a lot for work. We like to remember what it is like to be home every now and again. I do not work on the road anymore and travel every now and again, but it still would have been nice. Since this is a personal preference and something not shared by all other travelrs, can not hold it against them. Overall, if I had to stay in the area again. I would choose this hotel. Even though it is not brand of choice… Btw, tip, definitely choose this hotel over Drury Inn & Suites. I had to stay there during another trip. Not as nice.

Very good location! The staff was friendly and very willing to answer any tourist question I had, and quick to provide extra blankets when asked. As a plus, the walls are well insulated from noises from your neighbors!

Completely enjoyed my stay. The staff was very friendly, and valet even suggested nearby food and attractions. The hotel is close to many area attractions, and most are within walking distance. Actually received tickets for 2 free drinks on the night of arrival for thier unwind special, which consisted of hotel guests just mingling over drinks while someone played on a guitar. It was really pleasing. Will definitely return on next visit to Dallas.

Overall a great stay. All staff, from valet to front desk to bar staff to room service were friendly and helpful. The hotel is old and limited in what kind of changes they can make due to historical status. I noticed an exposed pipe in the bathroom and loose outlet panel. Also the double queen room was quite small. However, the room was very clean and very comfortable. Mattress was firm, but I got a good night's sleep. I used my own pillow. Linens and bathroom were spotless. Someone else mentioned thin walls… We could hear the doors in the rooms next to us opening and closing; it was so loud, we repeatedly thought it was Our door opening. But otherwise, we heard no sounds from outside or other noises from neighboring rooms. We were as far away from elevator as you can get. I enjoyed drinks in the bar one evening, and the bartender was Fabulous. Great service. We also ordered in room dining service one night. The food was very good. They also called when they were going to be later than originally planned, which I really appreciated. The location is great, close to a lot of a good restaurants, bars, venues. There is no pool, and I did not use the gym. I would definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Dallas.

Comfortable rooms with some style. The staff is the standout here. I spent a week here with my baby. Everyone was kind and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and had the help we needed to make our stay pleasant. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Hotel is nice, service is FANTASTIC! The only thing that I would change is the size of the restrooms in the hotel rooms. They are very small. You have to squeeze between the shower and the toilet to close the door. But the room are spacious and classy! Would recommend to others.

We only stayed for one night and did not eat/drink at the restaurant. Check-in was easy and the concierge was very friendly. The hotel is located on the east side of downtown, but there are a lot of places within walking distance, including bars, restaurants and the museums on the West end (about a mile away). Note they have valet parking for $25/day, otherwise you park yourself in the public garage across the street. The Wi-Fi was very fast, and the channel selection was great. The building itself was a little dated, but it didn't detract from the overall experience.

It was a good date night spot for the wife and I. The bar was decently stocked, and the hotel was close to quite a few good restaurants. Pretty spacious room, decently laid out although not much of a view from our room. Water pressure in the shower was a little lacking but will work the money. Great deal overall.

Our experience could not have been any better. I’ve never had better customer service, seriously we weren’t even asking for things that the staff was going out of their way to provide. Great job!

The step in shower was huge with multiple shower heads.

Rooms were a little small, but the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. They also have Wine Down Wednesdays with 2 free drinks and appetizers. Staff consistently checked on me and made sure that everything was good. Customer service was exceptional!

Very pleasing decor with the look and feel of a 4-5 star hotel. However, operated more like a 2-3 star hotel. Noticed an unacceptable plumbing problem shortly after settling in. Fortunately, we were offered a new comparable room. Unfortunately there was no offer to help with all of our bags and with 3 females we had plenty of bags! Also, one of the beds in the new room appeared to have subtle stains on the duvet. We had come to Dallas for a party. We were delayed in getting ready due to the plumbing problem and then more so having to move all of our bags on our own which made us late to the party. We kindly made mention of our frustration to the front desk and were told management would address our concerns in the morning but they never did. For the price, we hoped for a bit better service. However, it was charming and in a great location. We would stay there again as everyone deserves a second chance.

Raul is the most disrespectful and unaccommodating manager I’ve ever dealt with in my life. While the hotel is nice, the shuttle drivers are friendly, and Ibrahim who was at the front desk with Raul who tried to make up for Raul’s rudeness, I would still not recommend this hotel to anyone. If so, I hope you don’t have to deal with Raul. We drove 6 hours from Louisiana to Texas for my bachelorette trip and paid for it 3 months in advance. We were promised conjoined rooms and when we got there, they told us they do not even have conjoined rooms. So to the ladies planning bach trips – do NOT stay here.

I only stayed for one night and didn't get to use many of the amenities but the room I stayed in was very nice and had a great view. The only reason I took away a star was because my upon arrival, my room had no heat. Once I notified the front desk the engineer came by to fix it but told me it would probably be two hours before he would have it fixed. I went down stairs to ask for a different room seeing as how I had plans and I just wanted a room with heat. The receptionist seemed like she didn't want to give me another room because there were none available that were in the tier that I paid for. I had to press her and ask for "whatever is closest to what I already have" she obliged and gave me a room across the hall from the one I was already in, which was in fact a nicer room — but the heat wasn't working in that room either. By this time the engineer had fixed the heat in our original room so I returned the keys back to the front desk and returned to my original room. The girl at the desk seemed surprised. I wasn't just trying to "get a free upgrade" because of a small mishap, but I felt like that was how I was being viewed. Everything else went well though.

Outstanding staff, shuttle drivers were awesome. Wife had surgery the next day at Baylor. They made sure they got us to the hospital early. The room was nice and had a great view of downtown. Definately recommend this place. Looking forward to staying again (when we dont have a trip to Baylor the next day)

The rooms were a little small. The building is from the 1920's and it's designed from a different era, but it would not be comfortable for a family larger than 3. I traveled here with just my girlfriend, and the room was cozy for just the two of us, if my daughter or her son had been there, it would've been uncomfortable. I will definitely try again for a weekend getaway for two, but never with our family. The front desk was very helpful, however the valet was rarely at good post, which is frustrating when it's cold outside. All in all, it's a fantastic hotel so long as it fits the travelers needs.

My experience at Hotel Indigo Dallas Downtown was positive. Located in the central downtown area, the hotel is walking distance from many shops, bars, and restaurants, and just a short drive away from the nightlife in Deep Ellum. The rooms are nice — clean, well-kept, and fashionable. I would recommend Hotel Indigo for anyone visiting Dallas for a weekend. Be sure to visit Matt the bartender at the lobby bar!

The hotel is nice and clean. The staff were very friendly. Parking garage conveniently located across the street. The hotel is older so the rooms are a little smaller. My room was divided with a door separating the bedroom from the sitting area. The furnishings were "modern" or "contemporary". It is a great location for parking and walking to several restaurants, theaters, parks, and museums. They served breakfast, lunch, and dinner but I did not eat there. There was a full service bar in the lobby. I would stay here again.

Very nice, clean hotel located in the heart of downtown with an abundant supply of restaurants nearby. It was the first Hilton in 1925. Beautifully updated, big screen TV mounted on the wall. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating.

A fantastic hotel with modern and clean rooms, and probably the comfiest hotel bed I've ever slept on. The only things keeping it from getting a 5-star rating are a sort of messy hotel bar area and the self-parking situation is a little weird and inconvenient. If you plan on checking out any earlier than 8:30 a. M. You better have small bills on hand to pay the machine or else you'll have to either re-park and go find change, or wait for the attendant to open their booth. No one told me, and it totally threw off my morning schedule after what was otherwise a fantastic stay.

My favorite hotel in downtown Dallas. Parking is usually only $5/night for garage parking, and is right across the street. Safe enough area for me and my girl friends to walk around alone. The concierge/valet guys are always super friendly. Rooms are beautiful, interesting and always clean. Food is delicious. Overall this is a wonderful place to stay.

Clean hotel, nice people. BUT, the pictures are very deceiving! Narrow hallways and small elevators. The rooms are very very small. No dressers or nightstands with drawers, only tables. Bathroom was so tiny barely enough room for one person to turn around. No area to get ready while another person showers or uses restroom. Sink and mirror both in the bathroom so you had to wait your turn and it's barely big enough for one person so there is NO sharing the sink or mirror. Beds are comfy but seem small. The room is so tiny that the bedside table is against the wall and bed at the same time, I hit my head on it 3 times during the night. Oh and no tub, just a stand up shower but nice size. Overall very cute and clean. I would stay again for lesser price. I must add we did stay in a standard Queen size room but most standards are bigger from my past hotel stays.

Not the most beautiful hotel, but the price was much cheaper than everything in the surrounding area, and the employees were very professional. Room was nice and clean and I loved it's more modern look with wooden floors. If I ever come back to Dallas I will definitely be staying here again.

We had to track down security to get out of the parking lot when leaving early in the morning. I'm not sure if the Indigo owns the parking lot tho or can influence change.

Was in town for a conference and stayed 4 nights at Indigo. Of 3 elevators, one was a service elevator, only 1 worked and I was on the 10th floor. Not only did the many patrons use it, but so did the staff, especially from the basement to the 1st floor. Staff left bags of trash and dirty linen on the elevators as they got on and off. The waits were long. The room itself was fine. Somewhat small, butlean and simple with quality toiletries. And some of the staff were very helpful and friendly. And just a heads' up, if you package breakfast with your room, it consists of 1 beverage and 1 entree… so it could be a muffin and a Frappuccino or pancakes /w bacon and coffee. Shuttle does NOT include airports. Only 3 mile radius. From Love Field, taxi is about $35, and from DFW is $40+. Very convenient for Downtown Dallas area and cheaper than Sheraton.

The check-in process was pretty quick and the front desk was helpful in offering restaurant recommendations in the area, the location is located within walking distance to the Kay Bailey Convention center and they offer a shuttle to nearby destinations which is helpful, the rooms and total decor could use some work. The paint job in the hallways leading to the rooms is mediocre and the hotel could use some renovation. Staff overall was helpful and seemed to genuinely care if we were enjoying our stay which was nice. I don't know if I would come back to stay at this Indigo. I probably would check out the neighboring downtown hotels for comparison.

Entering the hotel (2/28/2016) I smelled a foul odor and hoped my room would not have the same smell. When reservation was made I requested a room that was convenient to parking, elevator, lobby, etc. Due to breathing problems (I can not walk any distance without severe problems) I was not given a room as requested. They did not have parking which they advertised was free and they would NOT VALIDATE the parking ticket where I had to park) also room was not near elevator or lobby. Then about 11 pm I was woken by rude people in hallway (like a party going on). My door was not sealed properly, I could see the hallway through the crack, I'm thankful there was an extra lock on door. The room itself was cute, bathroom was very small but ok. When I checked in I was ask for my credit card again and I explained it was paid in full but they had to have it anyway, An extra $50 was deducted from my bank account, I called front desk (it was for deposit) why was I not told, now I am waiting on it to be put back in account. My over all stay at Hotel Indigo was not satisfactory.

The location was perfect for the event we were attending near deep ellum. I enjoyed how close it was to many restaurants and sites in downtown Dallas. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Indigo Downtown Dallas from Monday 23rd November through until Saturday 28th! We stayed in room 1205 and we absolutely just loved the place! If Cindy had her way we would move in as permanent residents! The staff were awesome, reliable and super friendly! Restaurant had the best food and service! The room was fantastic! Tuesday night we had a valet deliver Champagne and chocolate coated strawberries to our room! If I remember it was Felix (hope I got his name right) who orchestrated that kind gesture! That was truly special, it really was! Anyone who complains about this Hotel needs their heads read! Hotel Indigo Downtown Dallas, Cindy and I applaud you! Stand up and take a bow, guys! We want to say thanks to the doorman, valet and shuttle driver! I believe his name is MD! The gentleman with the curly plats in his hair! He provides the best service! This is pretty nice. It could use some touch up, but all in all pretty nice. The staff was super friendly. If you are driving and need parking avoid the garage directly across the street (secret, you need cash and only $5 bills).

I love Hotel Indigo Downtown Dallas! Everyone is so friendly, helpful, especially the front desk staff. Without their recommendations, I don't think I would have enjoyed Dallas so much. I can't wait to go back!

It's what you expect from a boutique hotel. Located in the heart of downtown Dallas. Walking distance to allot of attractions. Free bus line stop right outside for all other downtown destinations. Room was ok, bed comfort was average. Very affordable.

Average hotel with great downtown location. Some friends and I stayed here for one night while visiting Dallas for the state fair. Large parking garage across the street was nice and the lobby of the hotel was remodeled and has a very contemporary vibe with a nice bar. The biggest let down was two of their three elevators were broken so only one elevator was in use for the entire hotel (it took upwards of 10 minutes waiting for the elevator). The rooms were nice, a bit tight but served its purpose. I'd come back for another quick weekend stay but I wouldn't stay at Indigo for a long term stay.

We arrived and the service is excellent and help you out with whatever you need, whether it be questions about places to eat or accommodations. I was in a lower floor and requested to see if I could get a room in the far top of the hotel. They moved me with no hassle. I would stay here again and recommend the hotel.

The staff is OK at best. When my employer pays for my hotel 7 nights a week, they expect a different credit card for "Incidentals"… What a load of poop… Tv was fuzzy on every channel and screen was busted. Floors were dirty… I could go on but I have ruined them bad enough already. I would not recommend staying here…

Overall it's a decent, reasonably cheap stay in downtown Dallas. They had a nice staff and a clean room, which is all we really needed since we had a weekend packed with activities, but its not somewhere I would want to stay as a long term or business traveler. The restaurant is mediocre, the rooms are tiny, and the decor is pretty bizarre.

Good Morning,   I am on my 4th of 5 days stay here. I chose this hotel based on your website, which had all the amenities listed, beautiful pictures, etc. Only to get here, and the entire place is under construction. None of the amenities listed are available. There's no lounge, there's, no bar, nothing… but here's the kicker… no mention of your current construction on your website. I booked this hotel based on services that can't be rendered, and you didn't feel that it was important to note, that I can't utilized these promised services. I would have never booked here if I had know that there was no place to relax. Furthermore, the only pictures of your rooms are the pictures of the huge rooms. Again, had I know that your rooms are tiny, wouldn't have stayed here. The company that you hired to renovate, is destroying this hotel. Light fixtures falling off the wall, terrible paint job… a historic hotel like this deserves better. You should sue. Seriously. Please be more transparent… if your hotel is in shambles, your website should display that… and fire these goons that are ruining this hotel. Thank you and have a great day.

The staff were very nice, the room was clean. The price was very reasonable for downtown dallas. But even for the price. They did a really terrible job remodeling this place. I was in room 501. In the bathroom there is a random hole in the shower ceiling. Something they removed. Then didnt re-cover or patch. The bathroom is also 3 colors of blue. Not on purpose. But it seems they just ran out of one shade of blue. So about 1/2 way down the wall you can see they just started painting another color. They didnt even take the photo off the wall to paint. There is paint all over the frame. And a different color behind the photo. Every light switch is covered in paint. It just looks sloppy. The halls are just as bad. They drapes are stright from walmart. The chair in the room is a nice chair with a cheap cover over the top. Again, its clean. But just looks really cheap. the elevators all smalled like urine. this was a cheaper hotel, but thats no excuse for this.

This is a quite good hotel in downtown. The room was clean (with a pretty good Wi-Fi service) and the staff was always helpful. Nice price, also. Really recommendable.

Kind of mixed on this hotel. It was good for the amount of money we paid. The rooms are small but it was clean and neat and also pretty. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. I think they may have had problems with the plumbing though, when we flushed the toilet we had to hold it down for it to flush all the way and as the night went on the smell of sewer got stronger and stronger in the lobby. The walls are INCREDIBLY thin and you WILL hear EVERY door that shuts, and every person that talks. Clearly. We could hear the people down the hall from us, 6 rooms down, WITH our TV and ac on. They were quite loud and when I complained it was taken care of promptly. But could literally hear every sound including the elevator that was down the hall. We had a couple of drinks in the bar. The bartender was very nice as were the rest of the hotel staff, but the waiter couldnt speak english and we had to look up a recipe for a bahama mama drink for it to be made. It came out ok. Other than that it was a decent stay for the money but will probably try to find a different place next time.

This place is bang for your buck. I don't think you can find hotel this cheap in Downtown area. This hotel is at the prime location with tons of food options and nightclubs in just walking distance. Love this place.! 1/2015.

Very horrible hotel! my wife and I decided to stay here 1 night away from the kids for a break! biggest mistake choosing this nasty hotel! when we finally got into the bed at 5 in the morning, the whole comforter and bed smelled like a strong pee smell! they did nothing to resolve this or even try to refund our money back! beware.

Staff was helpful, good food quality.

Lobby smelled like old mop water. They got the wrong room booked but were very nice about working with me to get the right one. Rooms are small but very clean and you can hear every single door shut and loud TV from every other room. Parking is expensive.

We stay every time in Dallas! Great all around Hotel. Walk to museums, restaurants, historic buildings. Suites are very nice, beds really comfortable, and staff excellent.

Great hotel! The wait staff was more than helpful with everything. From getting our bags to the room to the front desk guy Tom, actually drawing out a map to an area worth checking out. The room was on the small side but what do you expect when you're right in the middle of downtown? It was clean, cozy, bright and very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit.
