I appreciate the warm welcome and like the cleanliness of the environment and room. However, I will like to say that the pillows in the room are too small and look like they are for kiddos. Also, I was surprised to learn the the hotel does not serve breakfast. What's up with that? Cheers.

The motel is very clean and the staffs are friendly. The room seems to be renovated recently. We have spent 4 nights in the motel and it is very quiet. Our small dog is free to stay which saves us a lot. Nothing to be unsatisfied, except for 5-6 minutes drive for restaurants. However, it is not a big issue for the price and the good room we have. Thanks for everything we get.

I'm just going to say that a complaint was filed with the corporate office. I'm just wondering what the corporate office will do with this "privately owned franchise". Franchises like this severely tarnish the name is a good company. Thank You Susan (Front Desk Clerk) and Juan (Supposed General Manager) for proving that RACISM is still alive and flourishing in this country.

Friend and colleague was refused service there yesterday. He's a professional business person. He had a reservation, but Susan and Juan refused to honor it. They said they had "the right to refuse service to anyone". There was no reason given. My friend and colleague happens to be black. If this is normal behavior for Susan and Juan, this place should be sued for civil rights violations and discriminating on the basis of race.

The room was nice and clean, with frig and microwave. Coffee and juice in the lobby around the clock. The front desk clerk was very helpful and knew the area. I was pleasantly surprised for a motel 6.

The staff was great, rooms were nice and clean, location was convenient, & Best of all Great Price.

One of the nicest motel6 I've ever been to and I've been to a lot. Not sure why all the hate it's super nice no bugs and quiet. Rooms are huge.

Neighborhood was a little rough. Make sure you lock your car. Staff was nice and they allow pets. Nice big room, A/C worked good, good water pressure.

I was pleasantly surprised at how clean, quiet, and updated the place was. I usually shy away from Motel 6, but since we weren't footing the bill, we went as inexpensive as possible. The employees were very friendly and professional (a special thank you to Juan), and the whole place showed pride in ownership. I also loved having non-carpeted floors in the pet friendly rooms. Would happily return.

I really enjoy visiting Motel 6 in Balch Springs, TX. The services from the management and staff are great, with no complaints. This is why I continually visit this motel. I would not go anywhere else. Thank you, Patricia B.

Location was great, not busy. Quiet. Huge rooms and huge bed! You just melt in it. I was able to bring my 2 dogs and a large kennel and we still had a lot of walking space!

Susan at the front desk was the only thing nice about this hotel. This is by far the most disgusting and cheap hotel I have ever stayed at. No coffee maker or even a blow dryer in the rooms but yet there is a bottle opener attached to the wall… that right there should tell you what you need to know about this hotel. The floors were so dirty that when me and my two little ones got in the shower it made the bathtub black from our feet being so dirty. There was two dead bugs in the shower and a hair that was not ours. We will NEVER stay here again!

That was a bad hotel night. The worst on this trip, so far. Start with 4 concrete pillars that are right in front of the hotel entrance. I parked my car, my wife open the door right in one of those pillars. No need to say that the pillar did not move… but the car door… : ( That should had been read as a warning: "Walk away from here" The night shift gentleman was very smile and gentile, but later prove useless and careless. We were put on room 112. The worst room in the hotel. It has a joined door to another room were the guest was talking on the phone from 8:30PM until 1:35AM. I asked the staff to call him and ask him to lower his voice, but no luck. I also assume that was that guest who had a loud TV. All night long. In the morning I found that was not him. Was that insensible night shift staff that was sitting on the reception, with the restaurant TV blasting loud so he could hear. He should be fired. No questions asked.

I really enjoy staying here when in need of a room. Front desk attendant Susan is very polite and helpful. She's always willing to accommodate you. I had a few problems with Juan. I think he's rude, and needs to take lessons from Susan on how to talk and how to accommodate a guest who's paying their money. Other than Juan I have nothing negative to say about my stay.

Great rooms clean and comfortable. Great value for price. My band has a large trailer for our equipment, and we have never had a problem with parking when have stayed at this location.

The room was very clean and nice. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. I will continue to book my stays and y’all have gained a customer for life!

It had a bit of cigarette smell and one of the bed covers/sheets had cigarette burns. The door stuck and was hard to open/close. Other than that, the stay was pleasant, the front desk staff in the evening and morning was very professional and courteous. We slept very well and it was located very close to our venue.

This was my favorite place to stay, it has a friendly staff, and they are very affordable and the rooms are nice and always have been very clean. Unfortunately I can't give the 4 stars I would like to give and on other occasions have given this place because it is just now quite in the halls. The time is 3:12am. At 1:15 my husband called the front desk and ask them to please stop the small children (it sounded like at least 3) to stop running and to not scream in the hall. It didn't seem like a hard request, but it took well over an hour to hear any progress. My husband and I don't have small children anymore ours are grown, but tonight Motel 6 provided a few for us… Uhhh Now it's either to early to sleep or too late we are not sure which.

The motel was clean for the most part, but I did have ants in the room I stayed in behind the moveable furniture. Worst part was the elevator was out and trying to get your luggage down the hall and then up the stairs, well I feel a couple bucks could have been taken off for the trouble. Also there is no side door access. I mean there are doors but no access to get in, so you have to constantly go through the front then down the hall to the stairwell to get up to your room. I personally wouldn't stay or recommend anyone one I know to stay there, especially if that dang elevator is still out. The staff were very friendly and courteous.

The front desk lady was the nicest person and most helpful when she could be! However the other staff the only interaction I had with them was when they were getting yelled at by who I believe to be the owner based on the way they were dressed and no name tag. Regardless who it was the most unprofessional experience in my life. My two year old daughter and I were drinking coffee in lobby waiting for the pool to open and had to leave the area because I felt uncomfortable while that was going on. On top of that there was a serious ant problem in the lobby coming in from the window. The window had a big fire ant hill in the corner and they were all over the lobby floor by the front door. The hotel was not the cleanest. The room was also not the cleanest. The bathroom shelf under the sink looked it hadn't been cleaned since it was installed. The air conditioner was missing the front panel where the air blows out and the curtains had a rip in them. Not to mention all the leaves on the floor when we first walked into the room. We were there for such a short stay and in that time I personally would not return to this location. I could have don't a Priceline express deal and paid them for their service and had a better hotel. The last thing that upset me about the hotel was at 10 when my daughter was taking her nap it was interrupted by room service calling to see when I was checking out. I told them at check out time which online was listed as 1200.

Two out of the four days we were to stay had roaches, dirty sheets, rooms not inspected for clients, smokers holding side doors open blowing smoke into hotel, pool full of dead skin cells, were just a few of the major problems we had. Not to mention a couple of code violations. By the third day we got out.

. Horrible. Completely unsatisfied. Stay here a lot. Robbed last night. And totally unhelpful. Another guest was robbed yesterday. You would think that they would notify you as a precaution. Because they sure won't help you with the police investigation situation. Then the front desk is going to say. Well we have signs posted that we are not responsible or liable in any way. Just think twice before you decide to stay here.

Remodeling hotel but I didn't hear any noises. Room was nice and big. Could have used more pillows and better towels. Pleasant stay though. The hotel was much cheaper than staying in Canton where I was going for the Trade Days. It was about a 30 minute drive to Canton from the hotel and about a 20 minute drive to historic Dallas.

This hotel is worth the $57 a night. It's no fancy suite, but it was clean and the room smelt good when we walked in. The hotel is under renovation at this time, when we pulled up to check in there were a bunch of brand new toilets still in the boxes outside they were getting ready to install. The whole weekend we were there they were working on the vacant rooms remodeling. Our room was just completely remodeled with new paint and vinyl flooring. I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely horrible! Front desk was so rude. She cancelled our reservation without letting us know because we didn't check in exactly at 2. We drove 4 hours for this and now we can't find a hotel.

Got bit by bugs and they are terrible service don't go here at all.

This Motel 6 used to be a La Quinta a few months back and still seems a lot like La Quinta price is reasonable hotel is well maintained.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel was a little out of the way and not much around but we had a pleasant stay.

Staff is very courteous. Juan the manager called me to set up a room while other places did not care to write down my number. I would recommend this LQ to travelers.

They remote doesn't work for the tv, they get a attitude with you when you ask for more towels. Made our beds while we were gone, but they didn't give us any towels like we requested in the morning.

It's disgusting. Room service is rude. They don't like giving out towels. The breakfast is toast. No eggs or bacon. There was puke on the floor and sat there over 24 hours in the hallway. The elevator is completely dangerous. Took stairs the whole time. It's a non smoking place but had cigarette burns everywhere. Management sat and watched TV while we swam in a bug filled pool. We had to clean it ourselves. Awful place.

It is a comfortable place is my hotel every time I go to visit my family.

We live in Balch Springs and put family up here when they come to town. We have never heard of any problems. Easy to get to all the highways.

Gross! Bathroom dirty, hair on tub. Rooms completely old and dingy. Old dirty towels under sink. You get what you pay for! Slept in pants and long sweater.

I don't care how nice the room is. The side doors to the parking lot are locked and do not have card readers. Automatic zero. PS: The room is actual pretty decent and clean. But I FORGOT something in my car! And I have to go back through the LOBBY to get it. Also, there are some damaged items in the room (couch, safe) buuuuut. You can't beat the price. A+ for cost (69).

Lost the 7 day stay reservation for a friend coming in from Taiwan at 930 pm! We had to go in because of the communication barrier. Pretty sure they discriminate against anyone looking against the norm as well. My group was patronized the entire time while the worker on duty, not taking any claim for the mishap, TRIED to deny services. This place is a nightmare and the workers have absolutely NO customer service, BEWARE.

What a pleasant surprise! My wife and I work in Pleasant Grove and commute to Coppell everyday. We were snowed in and decided not to drive up to North Dallas but were kinda hesitant about getting a room around here. We couldn't be happier to find this place. VERY reasonable rate, friendly staff, clean room, flat screen TV with DirectTV, fast wireless internet and complimentary breakfast with waffle maker. I'll definitely find more excuses to stay here time to time. It is also conveniently located with easy access to I20, I635 and 175 freeway. There is also a Shell convenient store with Dickies BBQ within walking distance and next door to a quaint taco restaurant which serves authentic tacos, not fancy TexMex. If you expect a real luxury, try Ritz Carlton in Maui but for what they charge, you will not be disappointed.

I can only presume that neither customer courtesy nor sanctification are a priority when it comes to non white customers. Even though, the motel was virtually empty the advertized rate was not available when I asked for it. Proceeding to get a room, after being on the road for two days w/o sleep, they put me in one of the worst rooms they had despite the hotel being empty. It was one with a shared door to the next room which I could head every whisper in the next room. When I asked for a quiet room the guy showed me a worse room next to the elevator (figuring I would realize how great I had it with the poor construction of my previous room). When he told me me I could complaint to the manager the next day, I asked for my money back. The clerk told me I should have made the complaint before the I used the room — (and before the other guests were assigned the room next to mine, ) and that he was not going to give me back my money. Finally he showed me to a room which was quiet.
