If there was a negative star option this place definitely deserves it! There's a pool but it's not available to guests for starters when asking about it I was told to shut my mouth they make the rules after I said it not being available for guests is ridiculous. The staff is rude and unprofessional. The place stinks like crazy the rooms aren't maintained and the bed is so uncomfortable. Defiantly a hang out for local druggies. And there are kids cleaning the rooms! This place should be shut down!

On the positive side, it was relatively quiet and the TV worked. On the negative, the room wasn't very clean and the bed was like sleeping on a brick. Hair in the towels, possibly blood in a few spots, and a booger on the wall. Smelled like smoke and there was a cigarette burn on the tub, in a non-smoking room. Didn't pay a lot but I wish I had paid less.

Motel staff was really nice! But the motel does need some TLC my son who's one was crawling and walking and his feet and knees where black as night and as you can see in the picture am not exaggerating! Beds need to be replaced I experienced how hard the beds where and now I see why my husband who stayed there for a month was so tired. I came back home with a backache and no rest at all, sheets need to be change more often and the ac need some work because they either didnt work or where falling apart. Just needs better cleaning and some updates… good luck motel 6

Terrible experience. From the moment I walked in my room reeked of heavy cigarette smoke, room 205 (Non-Smoking Room). Unable to switch rooms until following day. Staff was extremely rude. UNBELIEVABLEY RUDE! What I realized is the staff who lives on site lives in the room below and smoked heavily. Property is littered with cigarette butts and abandoned shopping carts found under the stair wells, as well as a collection near the dumpsters. Trash around the property doesn’t get picked up. Lastly I wish I could upload a picture of how moldy the air-conditioner was! I hope Motel 6 management investigates the running of this terrible establishment. Will not return nor recomend!

This place is clean, eye I can only say of this direction.

The room was nice, clean, & the staff listened, were respectful, & friendly.

Stayed here a few days working out of town. This seems like the hangout for local tweekers cars pulling in and out through out the night not guest either. People hanging out outside the rooms till early hours in the am. And the room has cable but the TV had so much static I couldn't really see it anyway. Beds are worn out my pillow stunk and to top it off woke up in the night to use the restroom to find ten cockroaches in the bathroom.

It appears relatively clean at first glance, minus the burn marks on one of the comforters. Once I got on the floor with my baby I found a dirty sock, a cigarette bud, and a q tip, so it seems that it wasn’t cleaned. There was also someone else’s things in the fridge. The walls are also paper thin so you hear every car, and every door shut. There were also a group of children running up and down the stairs for a couple hours (past eight o’clock). It wasn’t disgusting, but I will definitely not be staying here again.

When we got there the room didn’t have a remote for the tv. Beds were hard. Third night water started coming through the light fixture in bathroom and fire alarm. Called front desk but manager didn’t come to look at it. Ended up having to go to office and request a new room.

This Motel 6 is located right off of the highway and within walking distance of Walgreens and Walmart. There are multiple gas stations and fast food restaurants nearby. The rooms are not the best. Very little care was taken to clean our room. We found prescription medicine and clothing left behind by previous guests. The towels and sheets seemed to be clean, but a pillow was stained. There is a television with cable and while it is watchable, the picture is very staticy. The office seems to be open at all times.

I was pleasantly surprised by how polite and courteous the staff was. I asked for extra towels. Done. No arguments or complaints. All of my requests were received with the very same efficiency. Thank you for making a stressful situation a lot more pleasant with your great customer service!

Stayed here for three nights during a work trip and this was the only place we could find in the area. On my scale this would be on the lower end of acceptable. The Wi-Fi was pretty good, and we didn't have any issues with the room having an oder (it was a pleasant smell). The room was clean but showed signs of age. The bathroom showed the most age and wear. The shower water pressure was low, no coffee maker, and the AC unit worked decently.

This should soooo be a 0. It took over 30 minutes to check us in. The area was so hot we were sweating so badly just standing there waiting. The attendent didn't speak English enough to understand that we had reservations. And couldn't find our reservations. We were so tired from traveling but when we entered the room the smell alone smacks you right in the face and makes you sick. There is no way that room was ever cleaned. Let's just say that I pray it was ketchup stains on the back of the door. Went and told the clerk who had to get a young lady who spoke English to help us. She showed us a room that was just as bad as the first. But with additional stains all over the comforters. I told the girl they should never show a room this dirty that there was no way it was cleaned. I asked her about the smell. She explained that it was a chemical spray they use to deodorize the room. I recommended never using that again. It literally makes one sick (smelled like lemons and cat pee). She then said I will see what kind of refund we can give you. I explained that she will give me a full refund that there is no way that anyone in their right mind would stay here. She stopped by the "Manager's" room right there by the office. To ask about the refund. That just explained it all. That room was so disgusting with trash all on the outside, broken chairs and about 10 people all laying all over the floor when she opened the door I could see it all. Yuck.

First of all, when I asked for an additional key for my wife they told me I would have to pay $2 for the key in addition to the rate I was paying for the room. I find this to be ridiculous, there were 2 of us staying and being asked to pay for a key for the 2nd person. We also found a bug crawling across our bed when we played down to sleep for the night. I do not think they should be allowed to charge for an additional key, this has never ever happened at any of the other motel 6 we have stayed at. There was no complimentary coffee in the closet they had for a lobby. I also had yo get them bring a light bulb for the lamp by the bed. Why it took 2 of them to bring and install the bulb is beyond me. This place is probably the worst Motel 6 I have ever stayed in. If I was Motel 6 corporate I wouldn't allow them to call themselves a Motel 6, that is how far below standard of any motel 6 anywhere they are.

So if you get a room the phone in it can't call long distance. If you call up front to be connected you are screamed at for bugging them. Last time I walked outside the management was sitting on the steps not doing a damn thing. Very unprofessional, I will be contacting the corporate office about being screamed at. Also the rooms smell and they are gross. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

These are the kindest people. Always friendly and I've always gotten into a room quickly and it's clean and nice. Good job.

Terrible place… Smelled bad and no extra or real blanket only some thin top cover. Do not stay there.

Great management great clean rooms great housekeepers… I would stay here again. Ms. Mary the manager is very professional and very sweet lady.

My husband and I got a room and it was covered in dog hair, because they don't vaccum. I even stepped in urine on the floor. Just damn gross. The bathroom shower curtain also was stained with urine, and had pubic hair everywhere. We were so disgusted we ran up front and they gave us another room. Although it was the same dirty floors, urine stained shower curtain. We immediately ran up front got our money back, and went to Best Western. You don't want to stay here unless u are white trash, homeless or a drug addict.

It is a motel normal, the bed is not very comfortable, but the people are friendly and home is good. Nothing special, but the motel only in Azle.

This hotel is now a motel 6 and the Google listing is wrong. Nice place tho however it was expensive.

Cold a/c, clean rooms, very close to fast food restaurants.

It gets the job done but it needs to be updated very badly. Bad quality cable on a tube tv. Stiff beds. Worn out pillows. I had to scrub some weird sticky stuff off of the top of the microwave. The fridge was off so the freezer melted and when I opened it It smelt so moldy. Wouldn't come here again.

Pretty sure they have bed bugs. Woke up with bites all over my ankles. Thanks. Confirmed bed bugs. Thanks you nasty assholes. Going to spend the next year of my life fighting what I paid you for. I'm sure I won't get an apology.

It's sad that this is the only Hotel in Azle! We will NOT be staying here again! We came in on a Saturday 03/26/2016 in the afternoon just after the allotted check in time of 3pm. When I went into the office to check in I rang the bell for service and a CHILD came out of the back office to check me in. An adult didn't take over the check in till the CHILD could not answer one of my questions about the billing. When that adult took over she huffed and puffed like it was a complete inconvenience that she had to come into the office and do her job. Finally got my room key after about 15 min and went to the room. The room was ragged. Bad patch work for holes in the walls, arm chair with large tears in the fabric, toilet that ran all the time and only flush once in a while, old blood stained sheets on the bed, and burn marks everywhere. Yes I requested a smokers room but sheesh I didn't expect for there to be holes and burn marks on EVERYTHING! To top it all off my boyfriend went to the front desk, at about 10pm, to ask for an extra pillow. When he walked past the room closest to the office the door was open and there was a lady in there smoking crack/meth out of a pipe. You could tell by the smell that it was NOT tobacco or weed. When he rang the bell in the office for service the lady that came to the desk was the SAME lady in the room smoking the drugs.

They have fleas in the bed I killed2 while I stayed there.

Got in about 330am told us the rate is $79 +tax even on the website it says $69. Got up to our room, door didn't wanna open, blanket smelt like dog piss, and while laying under blankets it felt like something was biting me.

This was the worst hotel stay I've ever had! We had 3 rooms, previously requested for downstairs and together, well we ended up up stairs all separated. Door to bathroom in one room was broken, leaking faucets, running toilets, broken curtain rods, extremely uncomfortable beds, dirty premise overall. Have a 14 year old working behind the counter who knows absolutely nothing! Keys had problems as well. Staff was rude and disrespectful. Do not stay here!

Better than expected! In need of a weekend away, I booked a night at Econo Lodge Azle for me and my fiancée. I hoped the suite would be nice with all of the standard features a room should have. Once checked in (hours early — thank you Econo Lodge Azle) we found that the layout of the room was absolutely wonderful. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The parking was convenient and simple. The getaway was a success in large part to the fact that this hotel had a very comfortable feel. My search for the perfect fit is found — this will be our place of choice from here on out.

Stopped in here about 3 am on a Saturday night, having driven about 1000 miles, and just needed a place to sleep, and take a shower so I could hit the road again in a few hours. When the clerk finally stumbled out of bed, I was told that the rate was $99/ night, which is a little high IMO since I grew up in this town and know that I could stay 20 miles down the road at the much nicer La Quinta instead (Which, unfortunately was booked because of the Cowboys game. Drat. ). After that she hit me with the Spanish inquisition of questions, the answers to which I had to repeatedly explain, from how old I was to "Are you sure you don't have a girlfriend you're going to sneak in? " (Mind you, I'm straight, I was very tired, and I'm rather sick of being asked if I'm a lesbian all the time. Grow up. Any how, since when is it okay to ask hotel customers questions like that? ) At which point I decided it was too much freaking trouble. I got back in my truck and drove another 150 miles before I found a rest stop and SLEPT IN MY TRUCK because that was less of an issue than renting a room from an extremely rude, and unprofessional clerk. ALSO, don't be fooled, the actual hotel looks nothing like the photos on Google. I will not EVER stay here.
