The elevators aren’t working. The roomkeepers didn’t change our tissue box so we had to use toilet paper. My sheets didn’t look clean and the first night we stayed here I felt like there were bugs crawling on me. No thanks. I did enjoy seeing my family here though.

Our room had ticks, but staff were not as shocked as I was hoping. We were moved to a room that was falling apart. The hotel claims it has been “newly remodeled” but I’m not seeing it. The problem is, there are NO good places in brownwood! We stay there for a week 1-2 a month for work, but they do not treat us as repeat guest. The hotel often gives our king room away and shrugs it of. We’ve been double charged. Very rude. I would NOT recommend this hotel.

The hotel is currently undergoing renovation, but it didn't interfere with our stay. The room was nice and comfortable. The pool was okay. It wasn't in great condition but it gets the job done. Overall, a good experience.

Clean room, nice breakfast. The style and look was pretty basic but nicer than expected for such a small town. The bed was at or above average.

Not all Hampton Inns are franchises. The ones that are fall far short of Hilton quality. If someone is a Hilton Honors member don’t expect to get a better deal or have better service — in fact, if you stay at a franchised location you may be placed in a downgraded room. Further, the point system may not be worth it. My rating on stars is due to how the franchise locations are managed.

Breakfast was a good mix of hot and cold items and equipment kept in good repair. Rooms were cleaned well and staff was friendly. Ample parking.

The room was clean, breakfast was very good with lots of choices. The staff was very nice.

Our stay experience was excellent the only problem I have is they need new syrup to go with the waffles the syrup they have was oily tasting.

Mediocre experience. TV was broke. It took 24 hours and 4 visits from management to fix it. Key also did not work. Took 3 visits to the front desk to fix that. Stayed 2 nights and wanted to stay a third, but they said they were booked. So we went to Comfort Inn where we found a nicer stay.

Decent hotel. It's in need of some updating and maintenance. But it was clean and the staff were friendly.

Service was excellent, what you would expect from a Hampton chain. The place was a little outdated as of 2/7/2018 is the reason for a 4 star.

Horrible Assistant Manager — She refused to check me in. I had to wait until another staff member came in to get checked in. She used the excuse that she had no idea if any of the rooms were clean and refused to call housekeeping to ask for clean rooms. I had to call the Corporate customer service to see if they could get me into a room. I am a diamond member and have stayed 70 nights in hotels last year and never had such a run around. She wouldn't even tell me when I could check in later so I could leave and come back. She did not care and was stnding around talking to some schmoes instead of doing her job. Laziest person I have come across yet.

On very short notice, we booked this hotel in order to see property for sale and January 6, 2018. The night before, I booked online, entered my 3 big-kids age range and the website recommended our room was good for a family of 5. Looking through pictures of the rooms, I assumed (my fault) that it was2 beds and a couch. When we got there and saw it was only to queens, I went to the front desk to request a cot. The lady said, ”no” because it’s against hotel policy to allow a cot in the rooms with 2 beds. “Fair enough” I thought. So I asked for a comforter to make a pallet on the floor. ”No” she said without an explaintion. At this point I realized she wasn’t caring about policy and only being mean. So I stood there in shock in the realization, snapped out of it and had to resort to lying as I then asked, ”well then can I have a blanket since I get cold? ” She couldn’t get out of it, so she said to Amy (the house keeper who was listening to all of this) and said, ” Get her a blanket. Just one. ” I then followed Amy to the linen closet and she got me a fluffy comforter, blankets and sheets, and said, ” I’m so sorry for that” (in reference to the front desk lady. Her compassion stuck with me and I’m hoping someone could read this to her if they see this. Everyone else treated us like humans and there were some who treated us like family even (like Amy). My 8 year old took one for the team and slept on the hard-hotel floor.

Not bad, room nice and roomy, pool was small, no hot tub, has a guest laundry but washer out of order, breakfast was alright, people are great, caring and friendly.

These people are horrible. My daughter stayed there for her work at a cheer camp. The company she worked for prepaid with a credit card. The hotel asked for her personal card for incidentals only and had the company card. They billed my daughters card the entire amount and by the way she is a college student. When I called and spoke to the manager about this and asked if they would pay any overdraft fees this caused she refused and hung up on me. Don't give trust these people with your credit card info they will steal from you.

Rooms were well enough service was ok hallways we're dingy.

Not good, they were full up. Otherwise when we have stayed there its been good.

The kiddos loved the outdoor pool. The hotel is within walking distance to some restaurants and also close to shopping such as the mall. Rooms could be bigger but service was great.

We got there at 5pm Friday. Check in was at 3 and the room still wasn't ready.
The elevators were out of service, so maybe that played a factor for the delay, but still.
Luckily we were on the second floor. The stair well was hot. The A/C seemed to be working OK, but we couldn't adjust it if we needed to.
The check in and check out processes were easy. Staff was friendly and approachable.
Overall, we had an OK experience.

This hotel is pretty basic, and the price is pretty high for the area and for what it is. At &150+ per night, it's not a great deal. Our room is basic, and faces an unattractive lot next to the hotel. There are only a couple of other guests in the hotel. Despite that, we didn't get upgraded to a suite for being diamond members (just a typical courtesy for spending thousands per month at hiltons around the country). We were offered an upgrade to a suite only for an additional charge, despite there being barely any guests at the hotel. Hilton Honors always makes things more than fair, but simple courtesy to loyal customers would help guests at this location feel better about paying $150+ per night for a basic, no frills room in an uneventful location. Staff wasn't friendly either, and are inconvenienced by guests interrupting their gossip sessions and cell phone use.

The hotel was clean service was good and the breakfast wasn't bad.

Good bed and breakfast, did not honor our joint room request, even though we requested it months in advance.

Not sure how a basic hotel room in Brownwood, TX commands $100+ /night. The room was clean, the shower was hot. King bed was very hard. After spending the night in the ER and not wanting to drive home 40 miles in the rain @ 4am, I didn't care.

Nice hotel, but the room was dirty. There was actually sunflower seed shells between the bed and night stand and that wasn't the only area of the rug that was noticeably dirty. The A/C didn't work great. The toilet ran constantly. This all left me with an overall grimy felling. The staff was nice and the breakfast was great. Pricing was a little bit more than other hotels in the area.

Too soft bed and pillows. Not enough extra pillows at the hotel.

Horrible 3 different rooms all with broken AC units. After the 3rd try I had the uninterested front desk attendant cancel everything and went to the holiday Inn down the street.

My elderly parents just this week stayed here. MTBE female at the desk was extremely rude and disrespectful to my Dad. The room was nice, but not worth 220.00 a night. Breakfast gravy was cold, biscuits hard, and ran out of bacon at 9:00. Parents went upstairs at 10:00 to pack up and couldn't get in room. Went back down, and same female says, I checked you out already. They did not check out. Poor excuse for Hotel. I might even go as far as to say, Senior Citizen discrimination! Management will be called! Then Corporate!

Great location, quiet room.

1 star because there was no option for less.
Hotel is nice but management is clueless regarding customer service.
Spend your money somewhere else where they care about taking care of customers more than their policies.
