No place close to eat. Clean rooms. Nice staff.

It was close to the stadium at @ T which was what buscab but it made me unsafe and dirty.

Worst place I have ever and never stayed at, I called a month before arrival explaining we were driving from Phx. And explained it would be about 1am. The person on the phone was extremely rude… I should have hung up right there and booked elsewhere. But I wasn't familiar with city so I asked which night should I book the 31st or the 1st because of out late arrival date. The person was not very helpful, I only needed the room get some sleep and leaving at 11 am on the first. Finally I asked if I booked for the 1st would that be right he said yes. I arrive at 1am on the first like I said I would to a place in a very sketchy neighborhood and they inform me if I wanted a room I should have booked on the 31st… I was furious because I specifically asked this the month before. Now I would have to pay for 2 nights for a room I only needed for a few hours of sleep and a shower. The person was extremely rude, the place is a complete dump… since I would now have to pay for another night because of their incompetence I left and stayed somewhere else… I would rather sleep in my car than to stay in this dump. Beware because there are way too many reasonable places to choose from in San Antonio to stay do not waste your money on this place.

Do not stay here. The owner is a crook stayed here one night and room was disgusting. Refused to stay the second night but he refused to refund us our money. You have been warned stay away from this place. You would be better off sleeping in your car.

It seemed nice walking into the room, they updated the building but it didn't get more than 3 stars because as I stayed the night I started noticing there was previous Tennant clothes in the drawers, tennis shoes on side of the bed and food left in the refrigerator freezer. They changed the sheets/towels and vacuumed but that was it.

This unfortunately was not a good hotel. We stayed last weekend for a concert at ATT center. Both vending machines didn't work, when we arrived in our room, there was 1 hand towel in the room. We had to go ask for towels. I understand this hotel is cheap, but it doesn't have to look and operate as a cheap one. Will not be staying here again. I have stayed at Travel Lodges before, and they were fine, but this was a local owned one. Stay away!

Very nice place. Great management and staff. But not an excellent neighborhood so be careful at night especially!

Location was great! Walking distance from the at&t center. Free continental breakfast was alright. Restroom vents didn't work, but that was it. Overall, great value.

Terrible customer service. Asked for a crib for my 10 month old, he said he didn't know what that is. Asked for some extra pillows due to the ones we were given being thin and useless, he told me to come down and get them, he wouldn't bring them. 8 got to the office and he said I needed to go back and get my id, why not mention that when I called the first time?! Got my id then waited about 5 minutes while he was apparently looking for 2 more pillows. He got back with 2 pillows smaller and flatter than the ones I already had. They didn't even have pillow cases on them. I asked for cases and he just started at me confused and said no. Acting like I was crazy for wanting covers for these small nasty pillows. It was such a bad and awkward conversation that the man waiting in line behind me started laughing and left. When I went outside to walk to my room I heard him telling his wife /gf about what had just happened and that they needed to find somewhere else to stay. If you're desperate for a place to stay and don't mind rude lazy employees, then this is the perfect place. If you enjoy a friendly staff that is helpful and understands ENGLISH, stay away. Wish I could rate this place less than 1 star. I saw the other poor ratings but was hopeful people were just being over dramatic, I now wish I had stayed away from this Travelodge altogether.

We had a great stay. Terrific location right on the River Walk. Very interesting building. It was a former bank building and the transformation to a hotel has come off well. Room was very large and comfortable. Very quiet even with the room not far from the elevators. An excellent full breakfast buffet in the morning included in the price of the room.

The bed was absolutely awful, I hardly slept at all. It was clean and convenient and the room was nice… all except for that lumpy weird hard bed.

This was a nice hotel. Little noisy because of the at&t center and the police station but not as bad as you would think.

This is probably one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. As soon as I walked into my room it smelled horrible. I opened the frdge door and I saw a cockroach standing there. The view was horrible. The breakfast made me sick to my stomach. The only thing I couldn't complain about was the managing. The pictures that you see online look nothing like the hotel. The hotel looks very run down and the rooms are very gross and low class. My bed sheets were dirty.

There is very little good to say about this place. The manager was EXTREMELY rude. The check in process was painful, and took well over 35 minutes. The outside of the building looks fine, however the inside was rough. There was an iron burn in the carpet, everything was very outdated. The hair dryer was smashed and broken, as were both lamp shades. We requested that there be no maid service, that was ignored. Check out was jus as painful as check in. Luckily I did check out and request a receipt otherwise I would have been double charged. The only good thing I can say about this place is that it is near the AT&T center. Do not book this hotel through Priceline or any online sources. During the painful check in process I learned that most checking in were getting rates at half the price that our room was booked. Hope that I can save others the headache that we went through!

It was an ok stay. Beds were hard, sink leaked, & water did not drain well in tub. Overall it was on ok place to stay overnight.

Never staying in another travel lodge. 0 cancellation. The toliet wasn't bolted to the ground. Very un clean and smelled bad! Rude people. Got sick from the breakfast. Overall horrible experience.

The problems with this "hotel" started long before checking in. Within 5 minutes of initial booking no changes or cancelations are allowed. The next issue came with not getting the room that had been booked. Was told that there has to be written proof of amenities. After bringing issues to the manager the response was to get mad at the receptionist. Never staying at a travelodge again. If I could give a negative score it wouldn't be enough. Amendment just had a begger knock on my door asking for "bus money" and bus is spelled c r a c k.

Accidentally booked the room for the wrong night. Tried to change the reservation dates within minutes of the reservation and hotel would not let me change the date and I had to pay for the night I wouldn't be there. My fault, but still incredibly bad business practices in my opinion. Will never try and book with this company again.
