We have stayed at this property several times and have always been treated exceptionally by every single staff member. This stay we had an unfortunate even that could've ruined our week, but the hotel staff has, as always, been amazing, going beyond expectations to ease an otherwise terrible situation. Highly recommend!

Saw some ants in the room. Shower was a little slow to drain. The excellent service, however, more than made up for it. Gave 5 stars anyway!

Started a little shaky, but I take responsibility for not knowing rules of payment. Tried to do online check in which would have assured less confusion but did not go through?. Overall excellent stay. Staff kind & accomadating.

Great location next to good shopping and restaurants. Usually nice rooms; however this time my room had a strong musty odor. Staff are friendly.

Why is the water milky in color. I drank it last night when I woke up from my sleep. This cannot be good for health.

Clean rooms and close to the freeway, various restaurant choices, grocery stores, and shopping In San Antonio for business. Hotel was in a great location: near the freeway, close to the airport and Quarry Market (various restaurants, movie theaters, shopping, grocery stores) and Super Walmart. Room was clean, and the staff was friendly. Breakfast is a typical Hyatt Place breakfast (which is better than hotel chains). I am loyal to Hyatt member because of the consistency of level service, cleanliness, and amenities.

I had a bad experience earlier in the night at another hotel. Long story short, I found myself here very early in the morning and Delores checked me in right away and had me in my room within minutes. Hyatt is always good but Delores kindness made me want to go and say something nice about her. She was super helpful, very kind and is an asset to your company!

The location of this hotel is terrific. This is close to downtown, the airport, the King William District, Broadway St. Brackenridge Park, the Pearl, Trinity University, Incarnate Word University, and across the freeway with easy access to the Quarry shops, restaurants, movie theater, and more. The hotel serves an excellent free breakfast. Staff is competent and friendly. Rooms are large and comfortable. Prices are reasonable.

We went to swim. It was nice. Salt water pool. Good service and very clean.

Beyond beautiful and fancy. Great location as well. Staff members are friendly and welcoming people. Will recommend.

Brandy and the rest of the staff are amazing. I had an issue unrelated to the hotel but they went out of their way to do anything they could to make me comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel based on how they take care of their customers.

It is a good place to spend the day in San Antonio, close to Quarry Market and the airport. The employees are helpful. Only would recommend a greater focus on the customer at night, because there are only two employees in the kitchen 24 hrs, and to attend to the guests.

Spent two nights here in room This room faces the interstate and is on the top floor. The room was clean and spacious. Downsides, the interstate is very noisy, the windows are properly insulated to block any sound out. There’s also an industrial air con unit close by that kicks on all the time adding to the overall noise. Breakfast is free, but not worth it. Coffee and orange is ok, but ignore the food. The shower is quite low and somewhere between scolding or freezing. I’m 6’5, so might as well get on my knees for a wash. Saying all of that, I would stay again because of its central proximity from the airport and downtown.

No issues at all. One of the nicest rooms ever, great food, great staff.

Went to the bar for drinks with friends and had an awesome time. Bartender was very friendly and made our drinks delicious! Will return again soon.

Hotel rooms not bad, person working up front sometimes (Robert) was very rude at times for no reason. Seems like just an unhappy person, customer service is not his strong point. Trey was a rock star! Very helpful and always nice. Remotes for TV in rooms did not work.

I've been coming to this hotel for the past 3 years multiple times a year. I come from Dallas to setup events for Wilkinson Rhodes. This is my go to hotel and refuse to stay at any other. The staff is incredibly friendly, fast, and very attentive. The rooms are always clean, room service workers are very friendly and fast. I love the beds, the Air conditioner works great, cable TV is provided and also… FREE BREAKFAST! The breakfast is always hot, fresh, free and they change what they serve daily. What I also like is that they put up with all of our craziness during our stay since we use their conference rooms to store our supplies and make flower arrangements.

Solid choice, reasonably priced, particularly with Hyatt points, and convenient to airport and downtown. The pool was a little bigger than I expected but I really wish there would have been a hot tub. Also, more waffles for breakfast please, they were way better than the pancakes but were only out one of the four mornings.

Hotel was good, accommodations great. The location was not the greatest now, as far as the view, but they're developing area.

Great hotel… but for some reason housekeeping could not get it together. Who tajes all the dirty towels and doesn't replace them with clean ones?

They have made some great renovations to this location. Last time I was here it was quite in need of those. But the lobby in the rooms have been refreshed.

Rooms were clean and large. Price was good for its location. Only about a 15 minute drive from the convention center and Riverwalk.

Best Hotel Ever! Everyone on staff was exceptionally friendly & helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate all of our friends & Family that stayed here. They truly helped us as we coordinated an out of town wedding & needed meeting room space & many other accommodations. Thank You Hyatt!

The place is nice but service leaves much to be desired. They are disorganized and explain evetything away by claiming they are under new management. They need help.

The room was dirty. They messed up our reservation, which is the 2nd time this has happened. We reserved the room for 3 nights but got there only had it for 2 nights and it was booked so we had to leave even though we had confirmation proof. We booked through Hyatt. We have been loyal customers for 4 years but will not be staying anymore.

I stay for 1 night and I can’t complain the room was clean, breakfast on point and the service was amazing. I am definitely going back! Thank you everyone.

Check in and check out was a disaster. It took us over a half hour to get checked in. The staff was incompetent. There was something wrong with our reservation but he didn't know what and didn't know how to fix it. He let us in our room and said we could figure it out in the morning. Great. We try to get this figured out later and there was a mix up with what my sister-in-law paid to extend our stay and their system. Long story short, they mess up on their end and ended up comping us our 2 additional nights. Springy bed, lumpy pillows, lots of frustration and 2 nights comped. Sooo… 3 stars. The location was great, very near my sister-in-law's place, the Alamo Quarry had a Whole Foods and tons of pokestops.

The rooms are very large and very clean. It is very close to the airport and the center is not that far. The staff are very friendly and provide excellent service.

The rooms were nice, but it would be nice if they had a microwave in them. I was disappointed that the TV had all these HDMI ports but no way to change the TV input. The elevators feel old and sound like they could malfunction at any moment. Ironically enough, I got stuck in one for 40 minutes! The location is nice, breakfast is very nice. Wi-Fi is mediocre. Overall though, I enjoyed my stay!

Rooms are clean. The lobby is clean. And the breakfast is great. We had a room right next to the elevator but heard nothing from it so we were able to sleep soundly.

It is a nice hotel but there is something quite interesting about it… There are no garbage cans out front no garbage cans out back no garbage cans in the lobby no garbage cans in the hallways no garbage cans on any floor but there are garbage cans in your room. Since there was no place to put garbage that we didn't want to bring into or keep in our room such as stinky food containers that meant that we just put it outside the room wherever. This meant that you saw garbage outside of people's rooms sitting there garbage down the hallway garbage near the elevator. Obviously the theory of putting no garbage cans anywhere has not resulted in the disappearance of garbage. I think in their employees Minds if there are no garbage cans then they have no garbage cans to empty. I hate to say it but the hospitality industry is based on dealing with the garbage of guests whether or not it is tangible. Be more hospitable and make things more convenient for your guests.

The first thing I wanna say is that the shuttle service was very fast. I called and they were there in less than 15 minutes. The hotel is just fantastic. It is very clean and they answered every question I had Immediately. Very nice place.

What a great little find this hotel was … clean & comfy and quiet … I had room 601 top floor and at end of building … super quiet & spacious… The absolute highlight for me were the great staff! In any hotel it is often the people that make all the difference! Hats off to Melione… the friendliest & most helpful hotel customer service staff I have had the pleasure to meet in many years. … Sure hope she gets the recognition she rightfully deserves…

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a 4 night stay at the Hyatt Place and found it quite accomadating. The Hyatt has a wonderful location that is near many eateries, the mall, and many other convenience stores. The stay was pleasant overall. No complaints.

Disappointing Hyatt location. Travel quite a bit and try to stay at Hyatt or Hilton. Location staff isn't friendly, floors dirty, trash was not emptied in room, no extra pillows available (apparently there is a run on pillows), I could continue… Stay here only in a pinch otherwise try elsewhere.

My wife really enjoyed our stay, what more can I say? First thing I noticed was there is plenty of parking. We noticed there are several handicap spaces available as well. When we arrived at check in our room was not ready however Robert offered us a complimentary room upgrade. The room was spacious and accommodating for our small family off 5. The beds were very comfortable however they were full sized not queen. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. I will book this location the next time I'm in town.

Nice hotel and reasonably priced. Handled our large group well. Nice size rooms. Small bathrooms but hey can't have it all. Breakfast was pretty decent also. Friendly staff.

Great water pressure! Lovely furniture and decorations. Good quality towels and linens. Noisy train went by. On the slightly higher end for cost but overall a nice place.

My visit was awful. It seems like Hyatt has replaced the comfy luxurious beds with cheap motel beds. It was so uncomfortable. The set up of the bathroom is so weird, the door is way to big so you have to come in and squeeze by the toilet in order to close the door. There is only one microwave in the whole building and they put it away for breakfast. I asked the gallery host if I could heat up my breakfast but she said no. Very unaccommodating. They ran out of plates during breakfast, and the bacon was grossly undercooked. I am done with Hyatt Place. Heading over to the Hilton.

The people that work here are so kind! We have a king bed and it is so comfortable, the room is so spacious as well. High recommend!

Normally stay here for business, it a nice hotel with good selection for breakfast and nice size meeting rooms. Just be careful and lock your room doors at night cause the front desk staff accidentally gave a room key to another couple coming in late at night, needless to say me and my roommate got a super early unexpected wake up visit from a couple of strangers… lol it was an honest mistake, other than that I recommend this hotel.

The facilities for meetings are very appropriate for any type of event.

Overall good place to stay with great staff that is responsive and easy to get to and plenty of areas around there to go visit and also good access to via another mass transit services.

I got the feel as if they worked on several things to upgrade the place, BUT, the carpet in my room had big stains, it was coming off by the entrance to the bathroom, it felt dirty. I didn't take my socks off after I felt it. The bathroom, outdated, the small tiles on the shower floor felt dirty and the corners had some mold. The towel rack was rusted. The couch looked a little saggy. Those were the bad things that made me not want to come back. Cause I've found better at about the same rates. Kudos on the bed, it was heavenly comfortable the little kitchen and lavatory counter tops are nice. Big flat screen tv. A/C works just fine. Parking is good. I wish I could post pictures. They really need to replace the carpet everywhere. The breakfast was great, lots of variety. And the STAFF WAS VERY VERY NICE! That makes up for a lot.

We recently decided to stay at this hotel for 2 nights. The service was so poor we immediately left the first night, our first problem was that we recived the wrong room, we confronted the front desk about and and they said they could not do anything, were a family of 6 and we only revived one bed. We later confronted the front desk again to see that a woman had the same problem, but not to worry the front desk gave her a new room immediately. We became impatient and we left the hotel after a 3 hour wait for one room. As a family this was a terrible experience and I do not recommend this establishment.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious, with a touch of modern flair. We loved the pillows. They felt like perfect head clouds and helped us have a relaxing stay.

Hotel location is great. The breakfast is varied, hot items fair, yogurt and fruits. But customer service is poor, I booked through Hotwire, and requested double beds and I called to confirm, but then upon arrival, they provided a different room.

BEWARE: this is a nice place in a great location, but they allow DOGS. We were placed in a room next to a dog that barked all night long, and it was terrible.

Said it many times, Hyatt is my go to hotel. They have the best beds and their breakfast is great. This location is great, about a 15 minute drive to the Riverwalk. Worth the cheaper price than getting the one actually on the Riverwalk.

Friendly staff, very helpful. Located near some nice malls andrestaurants. A short drive to downtown.

Worst Hyatt in the US. Could tell every time the AC compressor came on in the room next door. When ours came on it would startle you! Impossible to sleep. Carpet coming apart in the room. Double beds not queens. Most of the space in the room was wasted by outdated furniture. Skid marks in the bathtub and toilet. Can't believe Hyatt standards have sunk this low.

The beds sheets were not changed. I'd rather see housekeeping change the beds sheets than vacuuming. The breakfast was poor, not organized and crowded. I had better breakfast at the La Quinta. The elevators were slow. This location is not worth it.

Asians and Blacks Beware of ALEX at the Front Desk. It's not very often that we stay at a Hyatt Place in San Antonio. Our usual stay is at the Hyatt Hill Country Resort where the service is always great. But because of the Hyatt Brand and the proximity of our event we chose this property. Unfortunately, one bad apple can spoil the whole bunch. My wife was treated rudely by Alex when attempting to make a food purchase at the gallery. After this, she was approached by an Asian gentleman who consoled her saying he too had been mistreated by Alex but that he witnessed a white woman who was treated very well. He said he never complains because of his accent. My wife shared with him why we respect and expect better from Hyatt. Then later when my family departed the hotel for dinner we were greeted with silence but the guests behind us were wished a great evening and see you soon. Upon returning, I spoke to Raquel, the manager on duty, who assured me this was not the norm at her property. For the rest of the day things were ok. On the next day during check out, as I approached the front desk, the topic of discussion among the staff was the Confederate Flag and Alex defending and explaining to a co worker why it is important as I passed the desk. We were then greeted with a sarcastic well wish. At this, I took a picture of his name badge to send to the Corporate office of Hyatt along with my review.

THE VERY WORST Hyatt I have ever stayed at. The rudest staff, stale and terrible food. General attitude of staff is that you are a nusaince to them. Booked 3 days but left a day early. It was THAT bad. This is the FIRST review of hotel that I have ever made and for a REASON.

A pleasant hotel in the Hyatt Place roster that provided a good location near the wedding we were attending as well as to downtown attractions. The room was nice and clean and the staff was friendly.

I stayed here for easy access to the airport for an early morning flight home. The staff is five-star with everyone being attentive and helpful. But the hotel itself needs some love. The room had a dampness to it that wouldn't go away even with the AC cranked up. The carpet was so stained it looked like it had a parade pass across it.

Of all the Hyatt's I've stayed in around the world, this was the most poorly maintained. It was clean enough, but there were broken signs in the hallways, torn carpet in my room, bent chrome in the bathroom, and the lock on the door between the rooms was just a hair away from the bolt being completely outside the latch. One light shove from the other side and it would easily give away. The decor is funky and very dated — mid 80's at best. Carpet, paint, wallpaper — just. Wow. Nice staff, but no restaurant. The "kitchen" is a joke — it's made up of a glass counter of day old scones and similar. Not even remotely appetizing after a day of travel. I will not stay at this hotel again; not even for gratis. Recommend another place if you're near this part of San Antonio. Neil Reid Dallas, TX.

Great attentive staff. Customer service here is very good. The room was clean and very relaxing. Only complaint: Internet is intermittent and unreliable. SO FRUSTRATING! Definitely sub-par by industry standards.
