Can't find anything wrong with this place except you have to pay to park. Love it, always has been and will keep coming back. Plan to stay at the whole chain.

Love this place. Simple antiques, service was great. Close to so many things. Love this place.

Enjoyed Sunday brunch including their unique blackberry butter. Attentive waitstaff. Located in a solarium on the River walk. A little chilly if it is cold outside.

Excellent boutique hotel on the Riverwalk but away from the crowds. Excellent vibe. We loved sitting on the balcony and drinking wine. Loved it so much we canceled our dinner plans elsewhere and hung out here all night. The restaurant was fabulous. Staff is great and friendly. If you are into authentic and places with character — you’ll love it.

Such an adorable place, authentic vintage vibes, very classy. The restaurant Ocho is amazing and beautiful. The community events are engaging and relevant. Can't wait to come back!

Let me start by saying the Hotel Havana is beautiful and would probably be an excellent place to stay as an individual or couple. However, we had several issues with our group booking. 1. We had a couple of guests inform us when they called, the hotel was not aware of our block or were told that there were no accommodations still available. One of these guests did end up with a reservation under their name, despite not having placed a credit card on file or receiving a confirmation email. The room was later dropped with no charge after following up with the group manager, but added unneeded stress to our wedding week. 2. Several guests found the staff to be rude and unaccommodating. 3. The wording on the contract was somewhat confusing regarding cancellations. It was unclear to us that we would be responsible for non emergency cancellations within 60 days of the event. It is also not defined what qualifies as an emergency cancellation. We did have several guests cancel in the weeks approaching the wedding, whose rooms we had to fill in order to keep from being charged. 4. The hotel did not permit early check-ins or late check-outs despite us booking over 80% of the rooms in the hotel. They did allow us 3 parking vouchers. One guest who had to cancel Friday evening because of the flu was not allowed to check in until after standard check in times, despite having originally booked the previous day.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… Our family stayed here for three days in June on our visit to San Antonio. We felt safe walking "home" in the evening. The hotel itself was gorgeous! We never tried the restaurant but we the smell was tempting! We stayed in the queen room with the small alcove. Our chihuahua was welcome here and they even gave her a doggie bed, two bowls, and a chew toy! No worries if you don't like animals because there was no dog odor in the room (hardwood floors). So why 4 stars? The bed is an essential part of vacation and their mattress desperately needed replacing! I felt "folded" in half! I had to add two pillows under my bottom just so I could lay flat. We didn't complain to the front desk, we probably should've. The staff were friendly and greeted us upon our return each evening. We would return, but ask for a different room because of the mattress.

Very pretty spot for drinks and noshes. Dropping a star because the tables are too small to set even a few shared plates. Perfectly fine if you don't eat.

HH is a beautiful little hotel with great customer service. Family is spending thanksgiving here (not sure why as we live in town) and everyone loves it so far. A note of warning though, this place says it's historic and they mean it. The floors are these gorgeous old planks, but are squeaky. The mattress is new and comfy, but the bed is old school and so is the furniture. My brother in law is using his power bank to charge his phone as the outlet is just a little too far too reach up to the bed side stand. It's little things like this that could make this place not for you.

Went to San Antonio for a football game. I arrived at 1:30 p. M. And asked for our room. My wife was having back pain and needed to lay down. I was told that I would need to pay half the room rate to access the room 1.5 hours early. I asked if the room was ready? "It can be if you pay the half the nightly room rate'". Pissed me off! Parking is a problem if you have an SUV or Pick Up. Noisy old building. WON'T go Back! Should have stayed at the Menger.

We used to live in San Antonio and visited the cigar bar often. We decided since we were coming to town we would see how much the place has changed under new owners. We had drinks at Ocho, which is a lovely space. The hotel is fashionably done. The retro fridge in the room was a cool touch.

We visited for a quick bite to eat as part of a walking tour. The restaurant and bar are interesting, unique parts of San Antonio. I highly recommend the Cuban sandwich it was awesome!

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. Daniella was at the front desk and she was so pleasant and a wealth of information. We stayed in room 18 which is across from the front desk. The room looks out over the garden in front of the hotel and even though the street is close, it was very quiet in the room. The antiques throughout the hotel, the staircase, windows and retro refrigerators (fully stocked with drinks, including alcohol) were beautiful and gave the whole place a nostalgic feel. We headed over to the hotel's restaurant, Ocho, and I was pleasantly surprised that it looked more beautiful than the photos on their website. We just had the salsa appetizer plate to eat but we tried several of the cocktails on the menu and they were all delightful, especially the one I had with grapefruit and jalapeno. We also went down to the Havana Bar in the basement, it is small but very cool and they had a live DJ playing nice music. The room was incredibly comfortable, not only was there a fully stocked mini bar they provide robes, large pump bottles in the bathroom of shampoo conditioner liquid soap AND body lotion. Awesome. The bed and pillows were ridiculously soft, so comfy I was out the moment I lay down. We have stayed all over the Riverwalk and both agree that this is by far our favorite hotel and we will definitely return here every time we go to San Antonio.

Love the low lit bar. The scene is comfortable, sexy and private. The drinks are strong and keep you wanting more.

Happy people great place. Took dog for a walk late morning got back and had lunch and still didn't have my room clean. Was trying to not have to burden the cleaning people with my dog being in the room. The front desk tried to get ahold of the cleaning people numerous times and were never able to contact them. Very annoying but still loved the hotel and would absolutely come back.

You feel the history as soon as you walk in. The rooms are cozy, and have amazing attention to detail. The bars have very friendly staff, and offer classic cocktails in a very comfortable setting. Would highly recommend.

Great ambiance. Cute and quaint rooms. Dark and cozy bar. I didn't feel the food at the restaurant was worth the price… Kind of bland. But the bartenders are amazing.

Excellent vintage hotel. The look is antique but still with amenities of a modern hotel. Great bar and restaurant. Friendly staff.

All of our experiences in the last 3 years have been amazing. This is the most genuine, unique, romantic hotel we have ever been to. The staff is very courteous and bar is amazing! The gift shop is fantastic as well. Even if we are just passing through San Antonio, we make sure to stop by and pick up a print or a red candle. Even though the hotel is the best we have been to, nothing compares to Ocho, the restaurant. Simply the best food a person could ever ask for. We look forward to coming back on our anniversary!

This was my first time here and I loved it. I wanted a lounge vibe. It was an intimate environment that would be great for dates. The drinks are good, and the bartenders are friendly. The best part for me was I could actually have a conversation with a person.

Great hotel, excellent atmosphere and courteous staff. Creaky floors and extremely thin walls were not a plus though.

Easy to dig this hotel. They do things right.

Stopped by for a quick drink and had one of the better Old Fashions in San Antonio. We will definitely go back when we have more time.

I had my wedding weekend at Havana Hotel in late January. They were absolutely wonderful to work with. Alex K. Went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied and she even helped us with things outside of just the wedding coordination. The food was fantastic for all our events! Staff at hotel was also super kind and helpful. Would highly recommend staying there or coordinating a small event there — it has everything you need for intimate and unique event.

If you're looking for character and some cool unique art, you will love Hotel Havana. You are not going to find your typical high-end hotel amenities but the place has lots of character. We really enjoyed our stay here. I wish the room was a tad warmer and our blanket/bedding had more layers but otherwise it was great. The patio is so adorable with the projector on the side of the building. I would definitely recommend this to anyone coming to San Antonio!

Great place, but they don't take reservations for pre-theatre events next door at The Tobin, so not worth going only to find out you have to wait, then don't have time to go elsewhere. Recommend NOT going to Ocho until this is changed.

This place was beautiful. Rustic, natural wood floors and doors, spacious and airy rooms and helpful, friendly staff. Would stay here every time.

My wife and I stayed here for an anniversary and loved it. The decor is simple but beautiful, the architecture is interesting, and the food and bar are unique in San Antonio. We had a great time and would love to stay here again.

Beds were not very comfortable, but the atmosphere was neat.
