It wasn’t a terrible experience, HOWEVER, after considering all the things that went wrong I was forced to give only 2 stars. Here it goes, first room booked for friends staying with us had a shattered bathroom mirror, cockroaches (yes, it’s texas), nasty sewer smell exuding from the drain in the bathroom, they did not have quarters for the laundry (but it was nice they had laundry), indoor pool was small, cold and had way too many chemicals to the point the water was cloudy, and last but certainly not least, there was so much humidity in the air in the room (again, yes it’s texas; but dehumidifiers are a real thing) that the bedding felt damp and there was MOLD growing on the carpet and on the pillows on the sofa. I have pictures but apparently can’t post them here. That’s all.

The location is very convenient, it's right off the highway. The room is spacious and clean, it includes a couch, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a desk. Laundry and housekeeping come every morning and the front desk is helpful. They have free breakfast, but my only compliant is that of course not to expect much from free breakfast at a moderately cheap hotel. It's not horrible but a bit rough on the stomach. Overall, a good place to stay!

For a clean, comfortable place to go, I would stay here again. My only concern was the elevator, it squaked too much for my comfort, others might not even notice it. Otherwise everything else was very acceptable. Their hospitality was wonderful, the breakfast was pretty on par for a "La Quinta" type quality hotel, the suites were spacious, pool was clean, convenient to access the hotel. Overall good experience!

Amazing. They were wonderful with our kids. Great breakfast every morning. Wonderful customer service. Great room lots of space and clean. Swimming pool was inside and so nice after a long day out. Will definitely be back.

I don’t recommend this hotel at all, horrible service unhappy staff. The rooms aren’t clean they didn’t vacuum the room in 3 days… unacceptable that we payed for a bad service! COME ON HAVE SOME SENSE. And it’s called “Quality Inn” ‍♀️

The hotel was not clean the staff is nonchalant about your complaints. The toilet screamed all night. I told the front desk and the the guy that came to fix it, told me to stick my hand in the back of the toilet and wiggle it. That is funny! NOT.

If you are looking for a hotel at a good price I recommend this hotel. Very clean, very friendly staff especially one of the housekeeping girl called Luz. She is very kind and helpful. It was my housekeeping during my stay and the room always smelled good. The room was always super clean and organized. She's the best! And the lady at the front desk LeJuan is verry friendly and funny. Very good hotel. Definetly I'm booked here again. Good job! God bless.

Its dated but in pretty good shape. The breakfast attendant is very attentive to keeping the breakfast area supplied and clean.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… Was greeted by Bea who was very friendly and efficient getting us checked in. Gina was also there that night and always greeted my uncle and I with a smile. The room was very large and clean. My uncle liked the shower head height since he is very tall. The hotel was very clean. The breakfast area was clean and food kept stocked. The next morning for check out (traveling to College Station) I was greeted by Raymond and Megan. Excellent staff as well. I had something come up unexpectedly and needed a place to stay on the eve of departure and had no hesitation seeing if this hotel had an opening, which they did. I was happy to see Bea again. She remembered me and was happy that I had returned. So in total I stayed there a total of two nights at separate times and would book again in the future.

Receptionist was very kind to us. Accidentally booked wrong date she fixed it. My sons were traveling with me to attend Morgan’s Wonderland. She was understanding of their disability. Plan to stay again. ❤️❤️❤️

The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were nice, but I agree with the other review that mentioned how cold the pool was. Breakfast was good and it was free. We had to go to the desk for extra blankets, and although there were a variety of snacks and drinks in their shop, we weren’t able to get milk for our grumpy toddler for bedtime. There were buckets in the lobby because of a leak in the lobby roof. It’s an older building, but seemed to be in good repair other than that. We would stay again.

Not safe. Not military friendly. Parking is horrible. Some of the staff were sketchy to include some of the guest. Room had a couch with a pull out bed but no extra sheets. Laundry machines were nasty. Somebody busted the window of a car; police were called. Checked out early and went to Drury North!

I would have given 3 stars but my wedding bands mysteriously "walked" away when I accidentally left them out by the coffee machine one day. I was made felt like it was my fault for leaving then out and the staff was absolutely no help as far as being apologetic or setting me up to speak to the right people (manager or head of housekeeping). The front desk lady acted as if I were interrupting her nap time every time I went down to check if anyone has turned it in or had any answers as to why it disappeared out of my room! Made a police report and checked out early. Now back to the review about the hotel stay. Straight forward. Easy check in process. Affordable rates. Comfortable room (double full (didn't feel like a queen to me) w/ living area and fridge/microwave/tv). Good breakfast (the Spanish lady was very efficient at her job). Free Wi-Fi (slow) Indoor pool/hot tub/gym/conference room/laundry area/vending machine (only on first floor & expensive). Wish the pool was heated as well. Cleanliness in the bathrooms could be better (shower was dirty, shower Hardware and toilet seat were rusty, dust accumulation on the blow dryer and towel bars etc. ) could use some updating. The day I wanted service from housekeeping, all the lady did was flush my toilet and empty the trash — brought fresh towels 3hours later. The next day she was a bit more enthusiastic about doing her job. Cleanliness was not up to standard while there were multiplestains on the sheets.

A nice hotel, though a bit small, especially the parking lot. It had a decent breakfast which went fast, although they replenished items quickly. Beds were fine and rooms had what we needed, microwave and fridge.

I loved ospedarme there the luxury pass with my family.

Great motel. Has washer and dryer on each floor alomg with vending and ice machined. Breakfast each morning starting at 6am. Very helpful and courteous staff.

5 star experience. If you need a hotel in the San Antonio area, do not hesitate to stay here… Friendliest staff that has not forgot what customer service means. Also, clean, clean, clean… with full breakfast, pool, jacuzzi… just a 5 star hotel.

Had the cut my family vacation short. Because of bed bugs. In our room gave me another room and I had the same problem. My daughter got bit all over her body. I want to show pictures but will not let me. Pillows and sheets were dirty. Hot tub. Don't get hot. Not a good place to stay. Had to drive all the way back home in the middle of the night. So not happy.

Comfort Suites is by far my favorite hotel & 1st choice when I have to get away from the stresses of my everyday life. The location is perfect & right where I need to be, highway is easy to jump on going either way. The rooms are clean. With the most comfortable living area and a bed that I pass out on every time my head touches the pillow. So of all the hotels I have ever stayed in, I tell you, stay here if you are in the area. The best breakfast, a fitness center (which I won't lie, i've never stepped foot in but it looks cool through the window) and the pool, it is indoors w/hot-tub! Plus meeting rooms, laundry on site. I love it here! I recommend it to anyone looking for a great deal and comfortable spot.

I didn't stay here but my best friend did. The suite was very big and literally comfortable. It was clean and stocked. It appeared to have a good shower and a nice big comfy bed. The staff was friendly and the free breakfast was adequate. There is an indoor pool.

We checked in on the 2nd of August and checked out on the 9th. The staff here was VERY accommodating to my fiance' and I since we are both in wheelchairs. We were in San Antonio to celebrate 8 years together. Our room was more than clean, everything was neat and tidy, and everyone was always there for us whenever we needed help! I would definitely recommend staying here. It's well worth the price!

It was okay. Was down for a wedding and only stayed for a night. The A/C in the room wasnt as cold. The pool was really small so you couldn't enjoy yourself while others are in and our key kept deactivating but the rooms were nice and clean as well as the bathroom. Breakfast was ok too. For the price it should be much better accommodations for the guess. Oh and parking wasn't very helpful lol.

Quiet. Cozy. Getaway. Nestled in quiet safe place!

We are staying in San Antonio to visit Sea World, and picked this hotel for its location. It's about 20-25 minutes from Sea World, but also close to other area hotspots, provided you are driving or renting a car. The hotel does need a few fixes and upgrades. The shower needs a professional scrubbing. The rooms are nice and there is breakfast, especially if you like Texas-shaped waffles!

It is a good place, but they had stains on the sheets and felt it needed a little cleaning. We had No problems apart from that — if you just want to sleep and have breakfast, you don't care.

One of the most comfortable and accommodating hotels I've stayed at. I found myself in San Antonio with nowhere to stay as part of my larger tour through Texas. I walked into this hotel and the staff was gracious and set me up with a hotel room right away. Within minutes of entering the hotel, I was already relaxing in my suite for the night. And it was the best rest I've had all trip. The room was impeccably clean and the breakfast was delicious. Keep it up!

Comfy beds, clean room, decent hot breakfast. Would give 5 stars if the ac worked better. Also the ac on first floor was broken so it was pretty steamy.

I stayed here for 4 days and it was the best time ever! The beds are clean and comfy. The sofa was comfy & the swimming pool & hot tub were amazing. The bath rooms and tub was clean. House keeping was so nice and they assisted use instantly! The price is good & the stay is the best. This is the hotel I'll be staying at from now on.

Stayed here for a short weekend trip with the family. Staff was super nice. Rooms where wonderful. Everything was nice and clean. Breakfast was also great! Highly recommend this hotel.

Me and my family stayed at this hotel from Tuesday-Friday and it was fantastic, honestly we didnt wanna leave, and so we asked for an extra night or two, but unfortunately they were fully booked. Our room was nice and clean, the bed and pillows were extremely soft and comfortable. The indoor pool was alittle cool for my liking especially this time of year; however, the hot tube was nice hot. Both the pool and the hot tube were clean and blue, and the pool area were spotless and always had fresh towel. The Housekeeping was always around and always friendly! The ladies that I spoke with at the front desk always responded efficiently, friendly and willing to go above and beyond to make our stay more pleasant. The breakfast was great. They severed, eggs, sausage, a variety of breads, muffins, beagles, waffles, a variery of cereal and juices, plus more. Our a/c unit worked great and kept our room really cool. The only down side was not being able to close the curtains to block out the sun because the a/c was right under the window. We plan on coming back to San Antonio in July and we will be returning to this hotel when we do!

The hotel is the most ugly I have been the rooms the pool and the bathrooms are dirty, people that work in reception are despotas and racists will never go back.

This place is dirty. There are holes in the walls and creepy maintenance guys wandering around. Too much noise from the room over us. We called the front desk at 12:30a. M. And again at 3:00. The noise finally stopped after 4 and we were able to get some sleep. My husband and I both woke up with bug bites. We checked out a day early. We were not able to get a refund for the following night we were supposed to stay because we prepaid. I told the lady at the desk that I would gladly pay to not have to stay at this hotel another night. I have never been to a place this bad before in my life.

It was very tidy and the service was excellent they were on their feet and they have a awesome team of employees at the time being. I was very impressed that there wasn't a thing they lacked in like most places.

I didn't even want to give them a star. Staff has no customer service knowledge or knew how to do his job. Roma smell and had roaches. Carpet had something sticky on it. Beds were to small. Never ever again will I stay at that hotel.

Hideous paint job on the inside. Someone got a bargain on baby-poop yellow paint, blindfolded the painter and told him to hurry up and get finished. Then only one channel on the television. Pillows were the physical size of a piece of CHIKLET chewing gum. I have stayed in great Comfort Inn and Suites but this is not of them. For 129.00 Bill for one night I deserve about half of it back. If Comfort Suites management has any integrity they will do so.

Poor ac, bad fridge, broken bath door locks, had to moved to another room due to locked bathroom. No vending machines. Creaky floors, missing light bulbs. Sinks dont drain. Day 1 of 4, seriously will make it to day 2, let alone breakfast. Fail.

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in… I have never stayed in a Comfort Suites until this one and was excited to do so. However this experience was terrible… many of the towels had stains on them and looked like they had either not been washed at all or had not been washed with bleach so as to remove the stain — gross. The couch also had a stain on it. Downstairs at the coffee bar, it was very hard to get coffee to come out of the containers… had to press down so hard on it… so I didn't get my morning coffee. People should not have to work that hard to get their coffee at a hotel they spent their money on. Out in the hallway I noticed the floor also had stains on it. Breakfast ends at 9:30… odd time to have breakfast end on a half hour… so I did not get any breakfast either. When I was walking by the front desk to and from our car, I noticed that the employee did not greet me even once. This hotel is very outdated looking-looks very 1970'ish. The appearance of the hotel was less than what I expected for the price we paid. They should think about doing some remodeling as things in general just look like they need to be replaced-not very pleasing to the eye. Definitely not worth the amount that we were charged to stay here. Will never return!

The swimming pool is dirty, rooms dirty, not us, changed the sheets don't leave tuallas in the bathroom or in the swimming pool we find condoms used in the room if I could put pictures for you to look at how dirty are the swimming pool the bedroom who would like to pictures of how dirty this this contact I will gladly sent photos the truth I can only give them 1 star and that is because the lady q serves the breakfast is very friendly and very attentive alo that one is offered not tuallas in the room not tuallas in the pool do not change the sheets in 3 days they were the same from when we arrived.

It was ok. Fire alarm started beeping in middle of night front desk told us that we would have to wait till morning to get it fixed. After a lot of complaints they finally came and fixed it.

I was double charged for a seperate room (that wasnt even available) and I called to have to charge removed, on 12/11/2015 at 9PM and a lady named ''Bee'' answered the phone and literally told me that it was my fault. How can you charge a customer for a room that wasn't even available at the time. It just doesn't make sense. I will have this reversed after I talk to the manager or it will happen with my credit card company. I worked in customer service before and the woman's attitude was unprofessional when I was nothing but polite. I will also write a letter after I get her full name because she refused to tell me. She makes this location look bad.

This is an older hotel the reception area was nice and staff were friendly but our room was just ok. We always stay in comofort suites when we travel if possible because we love the beds. The bed was not very comfortable. The shower faucet was beginning to come off, the bathroom sink was clogged, and the floor in the bathroom was uneven which stopped the door from closing quietly. The Ac didn't seem to work properly. This location just did not meet our expectations & standards for a comfort suites.

I try to stay at Comfort Suites exclusively, due to the pleasant experiences that I have had. Unfortunately, this one really dropped Comfort Suites down a few pegs. The people were friendly, but the "Suite" was SOUR! Dated carpet/interior from the 70's, sink with cracks in it with black looking mold, antiquated a/c unit/microwave. It's corporate lodging, but it's still a travesty. I'll NEVER stay here again! My name is M. L. Thibodeaux, btw. zero stars.

Read all the reviews. Old ones are OK, but new ones are all correct. There is a Comfort a few miles north, another a few miles to the south. STAY THERE for the same price, NOT HERE. I have stayed in this Comfort Suite many times over the past several years. Usually my stays are ok, and what I expect at any Comfort Suite. On this stay I have noticed a general overall down grading of the premises. Unkempt appearance, torn and stained carpet, wet carpet by my room AC. When I connected to the internet, the “high speed” was very slow. I tested and found it was slower than dial up. (my test shows 50k). When I complained at the front desk, I was told it was a problem due to "Too many people" on line, and the night clerk could not do anything then, but the day manager could attend to the problem "tomorrow". What, what.

Rachel the Night Auditor is the most disturbed person to deal with. She has no respect whatsoever for others. I will never book or call that hotel unless she is not working there anymore. I will file a complaint with Comfort Inn and Choice Privileges. I have gone to several hotels but this has been the worst experience.

I am not usually one to write reviews, but my experience here is worth warning peopld to stay away. Pretty much the worst experience in guest service since the beginning of time. I think Adam and Eve had a better experience from the snake in the garden of Eden compared to what I saw and went through. First I called the front desk to ask for linens and blankets for the pull out couch. The response was "we do not have any extra blankets but I can give you sheets but you have to come down to the front desk to get them, I won't bring them to you! " That was pleasant. It made for a great first impression. The second thing and this really put me over the edge was the breakfast bar. Now I did show up at 9:25 with the knowledge that it "closes" at 9:30 but silly me I assumed if you were standing at the breakfast bar adding items to your plate that you would have time to finish. No I was wrong. My stepson was attempting to get orange juice when the staff walked up and basically scooted him over to lock the machine and turn it off, Then they took all the utensils while I was making waffles, so no fork or knife provided. Then they came and took the syrup and at this point I said "can we be allowed to finish here, it will only take 2 minutes? " Well I guess she didnt speak english or was just rude enough to look at me and continue to take things away. So I got louder with guests in the lobby watching I said "please bring a fork when you come back out".
