We booked at a Marriott with a certain expectation. Usually, Marriott hotels are extremely comfortable to stay in. The staff was kind, but this specific hotel was lacking. There were blood spatters on one of the pillowcases, the shower curtain was too small fir the shower and water sprayed all over the bathroom floor — which may be why the bathroom door had water damage. We chose to stay in a suite, which can sleep up to 6, but there were only 3 bath towels. There was medical medipore tape on the side of the desk table. Garbage under the cushions of the pull out sofa. Cosmetic scuffs, scrapes, and gashes in the wall. The ice machine on our floor didn’t work. The tea selection was sub par. And none of us slept very well. It was an experience that was much less than what I expected of staying at a Fairfield Marriott. We will not be staying here, again.

Great customer service. Room was awesome.

Lovely clean and new. Rooms are fabulous. You do have the option of watching your own internet TV (Netflix, YouTube) which makes it even more of a bonus. This hotel is in a great place which is pretty close to everything that you would want to visit in Amarillo. We took our pets with us and it’s free with a $50 deposit!

Update: the area manager has offered to make this right by reimbursement for the purse and contents of the purse. They said they have not had a theft problem before. I would still just say to be cautious, and don’t leave anything of value in your room.

Don’t stay here, unless you don’t mind being stolen from. We were traveling and 30 minutes after leaving the hotel realized our daughter had left her purse. We immediately called, and the staff said they found the purse in the room. They created a shipping label, and gave me the tracking number. The problem is, they never shipped it. After a week went by I tracked it, and it had never shipped. It only showed a label being created. After 2 weeks, multiple phone calls and still no trace of it, I have come to the conclusion that a staff member stole it. It was an expensive coach purse with a substantial amount of cash and Christmas gift cards inside. We are beyond upset, and will have to take her to get another driver’s permit. Someone there had a very nice Christmas at the expense of my daughter.

It was a nice place but after breakfast when we went to check the car. Someone broke into to it. They broke the driver's window or morless tried and succeeded with the back passenger's window. They stole a few things.

Fairly new property. Well kept. Very nice rooms.

The rooms are very nice, beds are comfortable.

I made a reservation for a dear friend. She is a single mother and with two children traveling. She was checking in very late so I called ahead and made a reservation for her and wanted to pay for everything. I specifically asked the hotel what I needed to do to make sure she did not have to pay for anything nor present a credit card upon check-in. I was emailed the credit card form and I clearly checked the box to pay for the room and all incidentals as instructed to ensure my friend would not have to present a credit card upon check-in. I called the hotel back and confirmed with Veronica that they received my credit card authorization noting to pay for the room and all incidentals. Sure enough at 1am my very tired friend checked in and WAS ASKED FOR A CREDIT CARD. I called this morning to solve the issue and was told my friends credit card would be removed but there was no apology.

Suites have queen beds that are comfortable, large vanity area in bath, large L shaped couch and comfy chair as well as a large desk with comfortable rolling desk chair. Plenty of outlets spread throughout the room. Plenty of space for our family with teens.

While ending a long 7 state trip we returned through TX and decided we would stay at this Fairfield Inn after having stayed at other of same corporate hotels, while traveling. It turned out the be the most expensive of all the hotels and resorts we stayed. Upon arrival, and check in we were informed " they DO NOT accept cash" for the room. We only pay cash and decline the use of credit cards. The hotel was very dated and at that time I noted many low grade issues and just decided to make a mental note to avoid this hotel chain in the future because of this experience and other minor issues like unable to connect to Wi-Fi and friendliness of staff. We completed our trip and talked about the other much better establishments we used and agreed we would avoid Fairfield Inn in the future. One Hundred fifty seven dollars for this hotel was outrageous.

Have stayed at this location before. Very convenient and even though its next to the highway it's fairly quiet. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The complementary breakfast is fresh, hot, and filling. Good coffee. I would recommend for any traveler!

This place is almost 5 stars, but just kidding something. I booked 4 rooms for my large family and the AC worked great in some rooms and poorly in others. The closets had broken doors. I asked for extra towels and shampoo, but they were not delivered. Friendly staff. Clean hotel. But I'd rather stay at another Marriott in Amarillo for the money than this Fairfield again.

We are moving across the country and stopped in Amarillo at this Marriott Hotel for the night. As we entered the building I was struck with how clean and tidy everything was. The beds were very comfortable and the staff were very friendly. We called downstairs and asked for another blanket and they were very quick in sending one up. We ate the delicious continental breakfast and are about to head back out on the road. All around excellent experience!

Wonderfully located with easy access to local food and gas. Staff were super friendly and helpful, great clean room, comfy bed, great pillows, breakfast included and fresh.

I have been staying here for the past couple of weeks on business. It was a great choice by my company. I work at the airport so it's very convenient. The staff is great; friendly, patient and very accommodating. They've become like famiky. I would definitely recommend this hotel for all your business and personal needs.

Place is super fancy. Be awayee though. Hotels in Amarillo fill up quick so therss no guarantee you'll have a room. For us this hotel was completely booked.

Been traveling on business for a long time (lifetime platinum status). This is a great hotel! The breakfast was the best that I’ve ever encountered (take note flagship Marriotts and 5-star Orlando Grand Bohemian). They had nearly everything that Marriotts offer (even fully stocked 15 min before closing). The room was excellent as well; new, fresh, and comfortable.

A good place to crash. My room was adjacent to the hallway with the ice machine and elevator but I heard nothing. Some footsteps from the floor above in the morning but I was already awake. Staff were quickly helpful.

This motel was amazing. We had a double bed queen suite with a pull out hide-a-bed couch. The room was very very spacious. Very clean. I wish every motel stay was this nice. Would love to stay there again if I was ever in the area.

Wow, this place is a lot better than what I’m used to! The room is HUGE! It has TWO TVs and almost a second room thing. You can even stream Netflix and Hulu here. Probably the most important thing for me was I was able to get my truck and trailer in here (62ft long between the truck and trailer) even though the place is booked solid. They have artwork in the rooms, and the walls aren’t the typical boring white. Also, you’re within walking distance of two gas stations and two restaurants. Also the lobby is gorgeous and huge and feels so open. They have a super cool mirror art piece by the elevator that I really enjoyed. 10/10 would visit again. Hats off to this place!

Nice, clean hotel. Great continental breakfast. They had a nice room to accommodate our family of 5.

The check in process was so easy and the room was amazing. We had a very clean room and an awesome bed. The hot breakfast in the morning had plenty of options and was very fresh. I would definitely visit here again if I have a chance.

Our room was very large and spacious. Free breakfast was ok needed better coffee and creamer selections.

Clean and very nice hotel. Beds were comfy and clean bedding. Enjoyed the breakfast in the morning with a decently big selection. Pool was small but heated which was nice. My daughter loved it. Hot tub was very relaxing. Overall great experience.

The refrigerator had leftover food from the previous person. The bathroom toliet didn't flush, was missing the chain. The dead bolt on the outter door kept jamming and staying locked so the room door wouldn't close properly. The bathroom door was hard to close and stay closed. Not the best Fairfield inn and suites I have stayed at. The breakfast was fair. Only eggs, waffles, sausage, bacon, cereal, and oatmeal with some breads and fruits on the menu.

The hotel was a nice stop after driving 6 hours. Clean, friendly staff, and tasty full breakfast. No loud neighbors either, seemed like a hotel catered toward business trips. Located near walking distance to a Buffalo Wild Wings and a Dennys. Be ready to walk out to the smell of cattle trucks though because there's a gas station for truckers across the hotel and the smell is over whelming. You were warned.

Driving from Orlando to Arizona stopped for the night. Our truck had stuff in back from moving and the counter lady was kind enough to let us park my the main entrance make sure our stuff was not stolen. Clean room and pretty good complementary breakfast.

I would normally give them a 5 Star but because we checked in last night instead of today they tried to raise the rate for all three nights. I talked to the manager and she did change today and tomorrow to the cheaper rate but made us pay $105 for last night. If I had know this we would have stayed in a cheaper hotel last night.

I was upgraded to a suite which was very nice. Other's have mentioned noisy air conditioner but I didn't find that to be true. The only, mild, complaint I had is that the toilet filled every few minutes. I closed the door and it didn't bother my sleep. The staff was polite although not overly friendly, which suits me fine.

Pretty ok. Newer construction and nice staff. Nothing outstanding, either good or bad. Very close to the Amarillo airport, if that matters to you.

Nice, clean and friendly staff. Only problem I have is they no longer have flavor creamers on breakfast bar or in lobby. But other than that I have no problems with them. I like this motel better than any Of the other ones it is more convent to places.

This brand new hotel has great staff. The breakfast is solid and the pool is clean and easy to find.

Spent two nights here on business. Hotel is very nice. Breakfast was great, that was great, area was quiet. Not much to walk to but otherwise location is very good. Staff was terrific. Only problem was that about 20% of the cable channels weren't working. Would definitely come back.

I would give it a two star but for the fact we are consistently given the smallest room in the Inn. Room 315. I didn’t go to each floor and check 115-415 but these would be in line over each other and these are the smallest. The Inn had available plenty of larger rooms. When I was getting a cookie from the front desk the guest services person walked quickly over and monitored how many cookies I was taking. It was pretty embarrassing and she made me feel unwelcome and as if I was doing something wrong. Weird! She just stared as I got a cookie for my husband and I. Awkward! But on another note, the bath tub is filthy. Mold and algae all around, the calking needs to be changed and housekeeping needs to report what rooms are in need of repair. Road Noise! Bring ear plugs or make sure the ac fan is “on” so it runs constantly to block out the noise.

Nice and clean place to stay. Great place to eat next door. Buffalo Wild Wings in the same parking lot.

As far as hotel rooms go, mine was clean and the pillows were very soft. But my favorite part about this hotel is their amazing free breakfast.

Hotel is relatively new so the rooms and everything were nice. I noticed that my wall was peeling a bit near the celing in my bedroom but that really didn't bother me. Otherwise, it was in a nice location as it is extremely close to the airport and the highway.

Room smelled of cheap air freshener, air conditioner rattled, banged and gurgled. Make sure you don't complain about it though. Makes the staff really angry. Especially the general manager. Much better places for a lot less money.

It's just a short drive from the airport and easy to get to. Has good access to I-40. Not much around it though, but you can get to most of good restaurants a short 5-10 minute drive away. Rooms were spacious, clean, and modern. AC worked great!

Nice place to stop for the night on a trip. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was above average for places of this type. I'd stay here again. The only negative for me was that it was a little expensive, considering our needs. But it was competitive with similar options within about $20.

This place did not honor the corporate rate they agreed to with our company. There corporate rates and discounts are only available when they are not in the peak season or busy. They will give you no warning when your rates will change and they charged a price for a single room that was more than any other room listed on their site. They informed us single rooms are more money so don't think that a single bed room here it is the opposite. They are more money than their suites and this was the worst room we had for the entire 7 plus week we stayed here. This is definitely not a short term stay or a place who is friendly to people who need to stay with longer due to out of town work. We have been staying at this hotel for about 8 weeks! Our work is here and we have been using this hotel to stay. Our company is suppose to get a corparate rate and we were given this rate for about 3 weeks. Then they started saying we could not have the cooperate rate all the time and could not get it during the peak season. We argued the first time and told them they could not change a cooperate rate just because they are busy. They gave the rate again. Then the following week we were they told us they didn't have a reservation and had one room left. We had already told them we had been there for 6 weeks or more and had a standing reservation for the company. We had to take a room that only had one bed, we travel with myself, husband and daughter who has Aspergers.

Fairfield Inn by Marriott hotel is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The beds are amazingly comfortable. The rates are awesome! 5 out of 5 for me!

It's right next to a buffalo wild wings that is open till 2am. The hotel itself is brand new, beautifully decorated and super clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Will probably be staying there again in a few weeks.

Very clean and brand new. One of the few hotels that we have stayed at that has an actual infant bed and not just a pack and play. Babies sleep better and that makes momma happy. The room was clean and nice. Plenty of room for our family. There was some tearing of the wallpaper on the corner that was uncharacteristic of the rest, but we'll definitely be staying here on our way home. Very nice.

Great road trip hotel! Super clean, great staff and easy highway access. The rooms are great. This is one of the newer designed Fairfield Inn and it is very nice.

Great place to stay with the family. Kids loved the pool and continental breakfast. With a clean room, convenient location (right off the freeway) and good price on top of that, what more can you ask for?

The staff at the hotel are very professional and treated me very very well when I lost my key they just quickly made a new one and they help me find places to eat and the breakfast in the morning is fantastic.

Great service. Room was extremely clean and quiet. Amazing place to stop on a family roadtrip. The free Wi-Fi was fast and breakfast was a great start to the day.
