They have the cutest front desk clerk.

The workers are awful… always stealing from one another and walking around high as a kite not one or two workers all of them it’s nasty.

We had a last minute booking there on our way to NOLA, it’s a really great price, dog friendly, free Wi-Fi, absolutely BEAUTIFUL and unique pool area, wish we could have utilized it. Also conveniently right off the highway!
Keep in mind that it’s a Motel 6, not the Hilton. You get what you pay for, but it definitely is the NICEST Motel 6 I’ve ever stayed in. Everyone working was incredibly friendly as well!

Our pool area is great the staff are very respectful and do the best they can to keep our guest satisfied with their every need.

Continental breakfast is from 6-9 and it was an empty carafe of coffee and that it at 815am. Pool was good, room was good.

Never will be back houses keepers don’t even check the refrigerators when ppl check out we opened our to put pop and food inside it and they were bugs inside it we reported it and they moved us to another room and that room was completely covered in fly’s so they gave us another room and kids went to swim in pool and I asked the housekeeper for more towels bc we only had two in our room she said 2.00 each so mean less to say I will never be back there at all.

They have thr best staff ive seen in yrs always there when you need stuff done.

The manager, PC was very unprofessional. I was given wrong information on weekly guests check in times. It wasn't a big deal, however, he made it one when he decided to call me a liar multiple times. Once I told him, he was being rude, he told me I had ten minutes to check out. Whenever there was an issue with the room, such as leaky toilet, non working light, bugs. Etc he said they have a list, but took his time fixing the problem and had to be asked several times to do so. The maintenance man would fix it in a timely manner, if you caught him. He makes customers feel like he's doing them a favor letting them rent a room. When I told him I'm giving this review after the way he treated me, he said he doesn't care. I also asked him for towels, a couple times and he gave me ONE towel, even though it was my son and I staying there. The list could go on, if you can rent elsewhere, I highly suggest it.

Yes Rooms have been remodeled looks great very friendly staff.

They are still in the remodeling phase but our room was clean and comfortable. Pool was clean and inviting. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Look forward to staying there in the future as they progress in their transition.

I will never stay there again. They don't give you any kinda service especially if you're a weekly. I was told twice they do weekly on Monday well I'm guess their Monday never came because when I left for work and return that everyone my room was the way I left it. I guess cleaning to them is picking your dirty wash clothes and towels up from outside the door which in fact were actually my wash clothes because they expect you to use the same wash cloth and towel for a week. Really who does that. So I received no service at all the whole I was there. Not to mention they sent the police to my door knowing I wasn't the person they were looking for. I found that to be very rude and disrespectful… The girl at front desk name Mindy is lazy she thinks she can't lift a finger to do anything besides slide those cards… The sand monkey in the back needs to learn how to run a hotel cause they are so very unprofessional… NO STARS FROM ME.

Motel 6 in Sweetwater has a very unique indoor pool area. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone. Great stay for the $$.

DISGUSTING! We booked a room through Expedia. Before doing the booking we made sure to research. By looking at the pictures of the hotel. Once arriving we discovered the place is NOTHING like the pictures you have posted. A COMPLETE misrepresentation the room had a nasty musty smell, the shower was FILTHY & the shower curtain had mold on the bottom of it! The cold side knob was falling off with a screw coming out. There were several cigarette burn holes in the bed spreads of what is allegedly a NON smoking room. There was construction going on all over the hotel with the men that were doing the construction constantly cursing & smoking in areas that are not designated to smoke in. We were so disgusted that was packed up at 10:30 at night to find better accommodations!

I stayed here years ago with family. The pool back then was beautiful. Now it is a scum covered trashed area… yuck! This place has changed owners many times. Each time it gets worse. Really hard to believe Motel 6 has bought it. I will NEVER stay here again.

We stayed in Room 165 at Motel Six in Sweetwater Tn. The room seemed to be remodeled. I notified the motel that it was our Wedding Anniversary and this was a special. Day. We arrived and the employee had trouble finding our room reservation even with a number. When the reservation was found, I paid for the room. We went to the room and I inserted the security key and the door nob was about to fall off. The room was supposed to be remodeled. There was exposed wiring in the corner near base molding. We unloaded our luggage into the room and gave it a try since we was so tired. After unloading we went out shopping and to dinner. When returning to the motel we decided to go for a swim. My wife went in first she came out of the pool, and stated it smelled and there was something black floating on top of the water. So we went back to the room and tried to turn the lights on. We tried the switch next to the door it did not work. We searched around the room and finally was able to find the restroom light. We searched and found that the wall lamps were not plugged in. So I plugged them in. We needed to obtain more towels so I was going to call the office. There is no phone in the room. I got dressed and walked to the front office. I let the employee (male) know the pool was dirty and needed more towels (6pm). He said he would bring them to the room. We explained it was our Anniversary and we did not want be disturbed. He said he did not have the key and the maid had it.

Had to find a room quickly due to family emergency. The front desk was MORE than helpful and understanding! The room was exactly as described. But, it was CLEAN and COMFORTABLE! I was very happy with the room and the service! I will absolutely stay at Motel 6 in the future.

I booked a room per the pictures advertised on the Web site. I was in the room for 5 minutes and checked out. They refused to give a refund. Shawn at the front desk was the only pleasant / helpful person there. I went back the next morning and the owner refused to give a refund. The motel isn't close to the pictures on the site. My son and I were concerned about the security in the hotel. Thank God we checked out and stayed in another hotel. We later heard stories from the locals that backed our decision of leaving.

This is by far the best motel 6 I've ever been too very nice all around, friendly people and you can't beat the price. The courtyard and pool are beautiful and indoors. I travel through here for work and stay here often and it's definitely I great place.

Pictures are not actually what the place really looks like. Its obvious to figure out its under construction while your here. There are families living in some of the rooms also. Permanent residence. Friday and Saturday nights could be a party haven here. I will say the rooms weren't to bad but I dont know if id stay here again. I will say the young guy at the desk and one of the maids was very nice. Also, at 9:30pm my family was in the pool when 2 young Thugs (not Staff, maybe one of the families living here), told us the pool closed at 9pm, wanting them to get out I guess. But the sign by the pool says 10 and the guy at the desk said 11. Unprofessional for sure. I had to shake my head and laugh. Dam!

My experience was completely horrible. The front desk clerk at 4:30am tried to come in my room not once but twice and thank God I had my extra door lock on it where he couldn't get in. My boyfriend opened the door and the guy took of running. We asked for him to call his manager which he did not do and requested our money back bc we didn't feel safe, they said no refunds. The guy is lucky my boyfriend didn't knock him slum out. I wouldn't even rate a 1 but this web site made me put something.

Decent prices and better deal than surrounding hotels. Clean rooms. No shampoo or conditioner but did supply body and hand soap and towels. Free clean nice pool. Vending machines were broken. Good helpful staff, his name was Josh.

The staff are very nice. Mindy and Shawn are very helpful. Sam is very well mannered and great at the front desk. Les can fix anything and is very polite. I think the manager is named Dev and resloved an issue we had in a timely manner. Very nice people who are willing to give good service. I would recommend this place for a night, a week or a month. And the coffee is pretty good. The rooms are clean and orderly (Mindy) and come with a decent sized mini fridge, microwave and of course a TV.

Renovations are going well, nice room, clean, will come back. Nice to have motel near horse overnights. Could use extra towels and shampoos, beds are firm, but all and all good stay.

We booked online, This place is not fit for dogs much less humans, the outside is nasty and run down. We came to the so called room and it was worse. No heat, dirty carpets, smelling room and no working light in the bathroom and they refuse to give a refund. I will be calling the better business bureau in the morning. Looking for another hotel now.

For the price ok but a rat ran across my foot as I was exiting my room, which was located inside not out. The bathtub was extremely dirty. Front desk staff very nice, but I wouldn't recommend staying at this motel. Swimming pool was broken so it was unheated, & didn't seem to be treated with the needed chemicals.

The curtains were hanging off the rods, and would not fully close. The bathtub was almost black. I had my grandsons with me and refused to put them in it. When I told the person at the front desk, his comment was it must have been the mechanics that were there last week. The nightstand drawer was stuck semi open. It would not close completely due to a sticky substance that was spilled onto it. Giving 2 stars due to the 2 gentlemen were very nice and polite when I checked in.

Because of the solar eclipse, I did not have a choice… $340 cash for a single night, while their advertised price was $39.99 (which is OK, I am not complaining about the price, it's supply and demand) — but no receipt was given (supposedly broken printer, broken CC reader) … and room is dirty, smells of cigarettes (I booked a non-smoking room, confirmed by the manager, confirmed by owner), no breakfast… very arrogant owner, pretending not to understand your questions (since I asked if I can get the receipt) … asking extra for parking… I would expect for $340 they could have the decency to order at least donuts for breakfast. I understand that they wanted to make a buck on the lucky event of the solar eclipse, but their attitude was terrible.

Very beautiful entrance. Very pleasant people. Nice, clean room. It was quiet. Bed was very comfortable, nice hot water for the shower. Will definitely stay there again! Stay blessed.

Worse experience ever this morning! Granted had an alright stay Sat night besides not being anywhere on the site sayin the pool is broke and I the the water surrounding the titanic was warmer than there advertised lost sea indoor pool, so not bad enough experience to not stay again, so we have friends on other sides of hotel spent all night and day with them, finally get in our room around 6am this morning to bed bugs crawling across our pillow, so we catch it alive take it to front desk they accuse us of planting the bed big, so they insist on coming to room to inspect, upon inspection finding bedbugs in front of the manager and he looks right at the bedbugs and asks us to leave! WOW TALK ABOUT HOSPITALITY! SO HE GIVES US A REFUND AND MAKES US LEAVE THE PREMISES!

Overall a nice place for an economy hotel. Indoor swimming pool is pretty neat. The staff was very nice. Decent bed, older TV, nothing fancy about the room, but not bad.

This is a warm friendly atmosphere the housekeepers n maintenance work very hard to keep the place nice. The front desk employees are very nice n helpful n the manager is friendly. I would definitely stay there anytime. Clean rooms good heat n air n TV works.

The front desk clerk when we checked in was extremely polite and helpful. The rooms were comfortable, however the tub in our rooms (164 & 166) need to be cleaned better. It looked like it was hard water stains, but looked so dingy I did not feel comfortable taking a shower in it. Also, my husband said he thought there were prostitutes on either side of the rooms as every time when he went out for a smoke there were different women coming in and out of the rooms all of the time.

Clean and a very reasonable price. Pet friendly. Very courteous staff. Easy to get in and out of with a trailer. One thing to note: The air conditioner worked but smelled quite bad (we turned it back off). I let the front desk know and they were very concerned… wrote it down for the Manager to tend to. I would recommend this hotel.

I had no problems with this motel. I did not go to the pool so I can not comment on that. Overall the room was clean. This motel could use some updating on the bathroom and vanity area and maybe some new carpet. But that is all cosmetic, everything worked and the staff was great. If I need a place to stay on my next trip I would stay here again.

We (my grandson and I) were returning home to Florida after Hurricane Irma went through. We stayed the night and found that I needed another day to recoup before getting on the rode again. There was no hassle. The room was clean. I hope it picks up for them because there was, what looked to be, a restaurant (not open), a lounge (not open), a covered patio with an empty swimming pool and a nice little area with a fire place. It felt a little sad. Anyway, all in all, it was fine.

I had low expectations & was pleasantly surprised. It is an older place undergoing rehab but my room was freshly painted & clean. Clean was what I really cared about most; no traces of bugs & the room smelled fine! I have pets & they were welcomed during our evacuation stay for Hurricane Irma. We had a couple special requests that were quickly fulfilled. I was happy with my stay keeping in mind it was a budget priced place.

While evacuating from hurricane Irma we found no rooms in Florida, Alabama, part of Mississippi so we turned around to Tennessee. After driving 22 hours straight I phoned this location, spoke with a very nice woman on the phone who stated they had a room, told me the price and assured me No matter how long it took for us to get there — they would leave the light on. I was told the amount was going to be $62 including taxes and fees per night. When we checked our bank statement the next day it was not as stated, we paid $40 more than quoted. My husband spoke with the manager who was rude. The manager said if he could find out who we spoke with he would possibly help, of course no one knows who was working. My husband phoned who he believes was your corporate office who said they stand behind the manager and their discretion. Our non smoking room was not non smoking as the guest next door was smoking and it came through our vent. I had to clean or shower myself because the soap scum from the previous guest was not cleaned from the inside of the shower curtain and it floated on the water that did not drain well. There was a roach in your fridge, another in your microwave and a 3rd on the wall. I told my husband on the 3rd one we are going to start getting pictures from then on out (which I have). The experience was so awful that we decided to leave and drive into a tropical storm rather than extended even one more night.

Dev, Front Desk, welcomed us and chatted with us about our trip and gave recommendations for dinner when we checked in. The room was very clean and quiet. We were so delighted to see a clean, comfortable room with very friendly and helpful staff. Great place to stay! Thank you Dev for all of your kindness.

My over all stay was excellent. The G. M. And day and evening staff were exceptionally professional. I was very tired late night and they went out of their way to accommodate me. I wished I had their names with me but they are locked in my luggage. I plan on going on Motel 6 personal web site and recognizing each and every person that showed and protraited excellent service. Once again, Motel 6 thank you for making my stay enjoyable.

A little run down but we really liked it. The pool is green in color it's supposed to be. It was quiet. Our room was right by the pool but it wasn't noisy. Really liked the room. Our dog liked it too. We would stay here again. Staff was friendly and really concerned about our comfort. They have a chair for aiding the handicapped in and out of the pool.

The room was smelly musty n smoke… carpets were damp… beds old and hard… no wash cloths in bathroom… old TV volume didnt work… people living there looked like some kinda addicts… police circling around all day and night… pool heater didn't work so it was cold and water was so cloudy… pieces of gravel in bottom of pool… ouside of the pool was very slippery… vending machines were empty… pop machines empty… both washers and dryers didn't work… thank God we didn't stay long… worst place I've ever been honestly.

The only Motel 6 with an indoor atrium and pool I've ever seen. A little rough around the edges but clean and comfortable. And affordable, as you'd expect. I recommend if you're traveling through Sweetwater, TN.
