This is not our first stay at a Microtel, but this hotel should be the poster child of bad hotel management for Wyndham! When we arrived, we had a 10 minute wait, because there was no one at the front desk, just a sign that said wait until we get back. After check in, proceeded to our room and found the TV did not work. Called and the desk clerk said she would be right up, we waited 15 minutes and then went down to the front desk, it was empty again with the same wait on me sign. We decided to leave for dinner and on the way found her at the front door with another employee smoking. We had to wait for them to finish their cigarette and their personal conversation before she would talk to us. After dinner, the TV had been fixed and we settled in for the night. Later, after we were in bed, someone unlocked our door and tried to enter our room. They would have been in if we didn't have the latch on. Called down to the front desk and she said not to worry. I asked why, and she said that she had given our room to another guest by mistake and would fix it. We did not sleep good after that. Next morning, went down to breakfast, there was no milk, water, or apple juice (machine was broken, ) the fruit in the basket was old, it had been there for days and was starting to rot (see photos. ) All of the tables were dirty, while the worker in charge of the breakfast area was leaning on the front desk playing on her phone and eating breakfast.

When we arrived, no one was at the desk, there was a sign that said to wait, we waited over 10 minutes to get checked in. Got to our room, not impressed, a. C. And TV don't work, front desk said they would be right up, we waited about 15 minutes and went down, front desk was empty, found her outside smoking with another employee, after they finished talking, she said she would get up there while we went to dinner. We will see.

The rooms were good. Everythin clean and in order. Other guest made the stay difficult as there were children running around and crying at 10:30pm. Breakfast isn't the gratest but its an economy hotel. Don't expect much.

This is a very nice motel and reasonably priced for the high quality. I really enjoyed my stay there. Front desk personnel are professional and very helpful. I would highly recommend it.

Clean rooms, very dog friendly the staff makes you feel welcome. The staff is very friendly which makes it easier when you are not in a good mood. I would have to say I really loved how housekeeping was so friendly and made sure we had everything. My favorite staff member was Adam. He really makes you feel welcome and comfortable. The whole staff was very friendly and joked around with us all. I would have to say if possible I would give them a 10 star rating. Leighann the manager was a sweetheart. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Great place, comfy beds, nice staff. The only thing is the walls are pretty thin. Everything else was great!

Enjoying my stay here very peaceful & very friendly staff, clean, comfortable beds, towels. We back again staying 6 nights so far.

Stayed there no problems untill I try to rent again, says do not rent list. My friend said she new the girl working at front desk Tiffany and said she was a theif and dope head and that she knew that about her, I was curious if someone could tell me why im on the do not rent list, No reason was given, then said she was calling the law, By far the worst staff, ever! There was not any reason for being childish! Good luck cause if they don't like you or your company guest your, on a list, needs new management!

Nice for a quick getaway. Nothing fancy. Just a normal hotel but it has access to anything you can need within walking distance.

Friendly staff, clean and really nice rooms at a very decent price! Only issue was the drain in the tub wouldn't plug because of missing seal.

Everything works, ice machines on every floor, excellent TV in room, including HD channels and a wide selection of channels.

No mini fridge or microwave. But when only staying one night they’re not really needed. The breakfast is great! And the room was spacious and clean! Beds were comfy!

Room was small, but had everything I needed. Bed was harder than I care for, but most hotels are that way. They did have a handy sheet in the room listing channels, local restaurants (including which ones deliver), what was for breakfast each day, etc. For the money it was a good hotel. Would stay again.

Very good customer service! Nice room, Nice people, nice free breakfast! The only two things I'd like to see improved are the TV remotes and the Wi-Fi, but neither were to bad.

Rooms, staff and breakfast were great but if you're going to accommodate the nonsmokers with a 100% smoke free hotel it would be nice if you accommodated the smokers with an adequate smoking area. Some place to sit out of the wind and rain instead of ONE folding chair by the exit door on the south side of the building with nothing to block the elements.

This is my regular place to stay for business. I stay here roughly 8-10 weeks per year. Recommend to get rid of the pool and replace with a covered jacuzzi. Fingers x. Also the gym needs a bike instead of a handbike? Pity the windows don't open properly for some real air. Brilliant personnel. Very kind, funny and helpful. Making a long stay pleasant.

Service was great, staff was friendly, room was clean. They did a good job of respecting the "do not disturb" sign as well. They allow pets, so if you have asthma/allergies be sure to prepare as necessary.

Nice place, the room we had was nice and clean. The staff was very accommodating and of course friendly. Parking was a little tight, but we could park a truck and small trailer. The pool is small, and has no lights, very dark at night. The breakfast seemed to be okay, we did not eat there, had to leave before it was open.

Of a the Microtels I've been to, this one was the best in customer care, amenities, and breakfast. Decent price for four nights without a flaw except for the Wi-Fi. I had some connection issues, but other than that everything was perfect.

Had a great time visiting Shelbyville and stayed here one night… sort of loud but still enjoyed the stay.

Good place but someone is smoking and the smoke come to our bedroom this make me sick because I have a son. 10:15 PM. March 2, 2016.
