The first room we got was nasty. It had stains on the carpet, cigarette burns in the blankets, and hair in the showers. The AC also didn't work well and the cable wasn't working. The phone was also completely disconnected and there wasn't. A light bulb in any of the lamps. Then we got put in new rooms and the new rooms were better at than the other one but a stab in the foot is only slightly better than a shot in the foot. The new rooms had air conditioning, the blankets were still a little questionable and I went and bought bed bug spray from Walmart. The toilet was always making noises. Overall I wouldn't stay here again.

This place is scary — half of it is condemned and the manager behaved very "forward" with me. The swimming pool was a lovely shade of green/brown. The tub was cracked and the drain was something all together disgusting. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone — ever. Sleeping outside would have been a better option. I would give it zero stars if that was an option.

The staff was absolutely fantastic and friendly. The room had a nice cold a/c and a nice new flat screen. My only complaint would be the older shower and the bathroom/room carpet needed a good deep cleaning. I wore flip flops in the room.

It's OK. Could use better maid service. You can tell they don't clean well. There was someone's cheesy fingers on the sheet. Better than Magnolia Inn and Blue Ribbon.

Terribly filthy, ice machines (2 total) broken and the only drink machine on location was out of order. Rooms are extremely past due for fresh new carpet and remodel w/ clean furnishings I Would absolutely 100% NEVER stay here again, nor do I recommend anyone to spend their hard earned money here either. There are several other hotels close by for roughly $10 — $20 more.

Got non smoking room but smelled like smoke anyway. Fridge was dirty with old milk. Loud construction early in the am. Breakfast was good, Pool was cold even though it was 98° outside. Staff was nice but guests in other rooms kept knocking on our door. No room service for extra nights we stayed. And water got shut off for several hours.

In town for conference tried to save money! Checked in room was dirty with coffee pot on counter and coffee bag still in pot, duck tape on walls, non smoking room smelled like smoke, stains on sheets! Went back to lobby to get money back closed! Needless to say I didn’t stay there and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

The place is nasty. Ac didnt work and toilet rarely flushed. They said next stay be free. Then said no free room. Very bad place with bed bugs to. If I was u dont stay there.

Remodeling on it now. My family and I are in a decent room.

Has everything you need. Pretty basic but all. We needed was a bed to sleep in and shower to wash ourselves and this did us fine. Easy to find and check in was easy. No problems.

The tub was filthy and bed was hard. I asked for a non smoking room yet there were cigarette burns and stains on the covers! Gave it one star only to post this comment WORST HOTEL EVER.

The towels were dirty, I couldn't find anyone to check in same with checking out. Breakfast was awful.

Good quiet place. Has small breakfast but is in the middle of town so you have easy access to anything you need.

The Mgr/Owner of this hotel is excellent in customer service. We arrived in the rain and he made exceptions to help us get a room. Praise the Lord!

Don't go to this hotel there is blood on the bed theres mold in the shower hair everywhere don't come here it a bad hotel run and don't look back.

Never stay here it seem like they only have like 3 rooms open looks horrible.

Stay away from this terrible motel. We arrived in Shelbyville at 10 pm, with a 3 month baby, just passing on our way to vacation. Others were booked or closed so we did not had any choice. Only wanted to stay for 1 night. horrible! december so cold, the door broken so the cold air was coming in. The blanket dirty, I had I blanket from home and used it. The baby I dressed him in the warmest clothes. When my husband asked about the heating system that was broke and plus the room was stinking like smoke. We left early in the morning. Never will pass again there. Beware of the place!

Please please read all reviews and don't go by pictures on website! Took forever for us to check in when we were the only ones at the time. Not to mention it was pre-booked! Rooms were dirty, smelled bad, and bathroom was very dirty! Bathtub was painted on the inside! So maybe that explains the drain problems since it looked to be peeling off! Sheets dirty and burn holes, towels stained and AC didn't work! Please, pay the difference and stay somewhere else, you will be thankful you did.

Friendly family owners. They would carry on conventions and show interest. The house keeper and his wife was always nice. If you was short for paying for a night the owner would try to help. The rooms are clean. The pool is open. It needs to be cleaned. We did get to swim before they needed to clean it. They offer breakfast in the morning. We stayed 3 weeks paying 325 week. The owner worked with us. He'd come check on us and asked why we stayed because it's expensive. We couldn't find a home at the moment. We needed to save money but hotels cost teice as much and hard to save money to move. Luckily we found some where to stay to save money to move. He spoke about his family and explained he understands everyone has problems they go through. Very caring man. The only thing I can complain about is they let the pool get dirty and stay dirty for days. Other than that no complaints. Every where you go there will be people on drugs or prostitution or fighting going on. But we didn't have a problem with any of that. Police was never there. No disturbances. The price is better than Budget Inn and Bedford Inn. It also has more to offer than the 'supposed to be cheaper hotels'. I recommen America's Best Value Inn.

Terrible Customer service. Took an hour to check in even though we were the only customers checking inn. Hotel is a delapidate dirty dive. Bed was broken and we asked to have somebody look at it. Owner who can't speak english came and he was telling me through sign language that I interrupted his lunch. Seriously? This guy should not be in business with this kind of Customer attitude. Finally a kid came to help fix the broken bed but by than we have had enough. Stay away from those jerks.

If I could give it a finger, it would be a thumb, plus one more… IF YOU ENJOY BUGS, YOU'LL GET YOUR MONEYS WORTH HERE!

If I could give it negative stars I would! I had a king size bed reserved for 4 nights, went in room and found bed bugs, paint peeling off ceilings! Went to front desk and attendant said we will put you in our "best" room! We went to second room it was two double beds and looked like someone had bled all over the sheet and mattress! We immediately left the property and had our money refunded. The may have changed the name of the hotel but not the bug infested rooms.

It was a work related stay, it had roaches (seen 2 live), a/c wouldn't cool the room during the day & evening only late night, 11pm — 6am. The mini fridge had not less than 1" iced between freezer and fridge NOT allowing fridge to cool properly. The toilet leaking between the tank & base when it was flushed, not sewage but still leaked small amount of water on the floor. They have a sign up saying pool is open, it was so green you can't see the bottom, they did finally drain it and refill it days later. If I had been paying for the room instead of the company did in advance I would not have stayed there past the first night. The pictures on the website appears to be old ones, the place isn't as bright as it once was.

This was a fantastic little hotel. We stayed there during a spur of the moment trip to Lynchville to tour the Jack Daniel's Distillery. Brand new carpet and paint in our room. The room was spotless and at $55.00 it was a great deal. The staff was friendly and the room was more than comfortable and adequate for our stay.

This is the most disgusting hotel that I have ever stepped foot in. The pictures on there Google at our old pictures and the rooms are now disgusting and covered in bugs and black mold in the bathroom. The pool looks beautiful and the Google search images but when we went in there there was mold on the side of the pool and it was filthy as well as black moldy spots on the lawn furniture. These people can't even afford fitted sheets so they put king size sheets on a double bed and tuck it in all the way around and then half way through the night whenever I rolled over I took the sheet with me to find face-to-face with nasty piss stain mattress because there was no mattress cover. I do not recommend at all but if you do make sure you get a tetanus shot afterwards.

Would not stay there again after one night I woke up with bites on my daughter and my arms… Definitely infested with bed bugs! Very disappointed!

If you looking for cheap but somewhat safe and clean it is just that. We saw two dead roaches but no crawling ones. It's apparently an issue being dealt with.

Stayed here as my company put me up in the hotel, its decent, has some age, but I did not see any bugs for filth, towels are old and rough, but has a decent place to lay your head down and relax. I dont know how pricing compares, but hotel is quite and clean.

This hotel had a roach infestation. We went to the front desk for bug spray to attempt to keep them off the bed. After the employee got the bug spray, he decided to switch or room to one that was equally as filthy. Would not stay here again.

Got stranded here due to the weather and stayed here last night and it is very Bad! The first room I killed 12 roaches. The 2nd room was very dirty. Before you stay here ask to see the room and look behind the furniture for roaches.

Note. The numbers on the review are misleading. 0=poor to fair 1=Good 2=Very Good 3=Excellent. Stayed there on bicycle trip to Huntsville, AL. Convenient to nearby places to eat, a grocery store and the city square. Reservations were handled perfectly and promptly. Rooms had enough room for 2 guys and our bikes and were on ground floor. Clean and enough amenities including a fridge and microwave. Could have used a few more electrical outlets to charge the plethora of mobile devices but we made do. Continental breakfast was adequate. According to locals this used to be a Holiday Inn Express so it's base is a cut above most similarly priced places.
