This place was nice and clean. Pool and hot tub were great! But TONY the shuttle driver was our highlight! He is fun, courteous & respectful. This man deserves a raise!

Pool not open no free breakfast parking is expensive.

We were there from Sunday pm to Wednesday am Mar 9, 2022. Someone (housekeeping I’m sure and they were not even cleaning our room! ) stole my brand new camera. For some reason they left the phone off the hook. Manager only said was sorry! Will never go back and highly recommend you not take any thing of value! 🥵🥵🥵

A friend’s vehicle was broken into in the garage and was told “this happens all of the time here. ” Doesn’t sound like a safe place to me.

Would not recommend this place. There was a lot of issues with this place. The water pressure was weak. The shower curtain was too small and didn't cover the whole tub. The tub was almost kids size. The floors in the hall felt greezy. The maid service was good. Didn't disturb our stuff but cleaned the room good and kept it tidy. Worst part of this hotel is they sold our room forcing us to leave when we still had 1 night.

Clean comfortable rooms. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. No complaints from my family. We will stay again.

Take your valuables out of your vehicle if you park there, you pay $32.00 a night to get your vehicles broken into. No cameras or security. They overcharge you for food and drink, majority of the staff is rude. They overcharge you once you leave. We will never return or recommend this hotel.

These rooms are underrated. There are tons of cute extras that make the stay awesome. For example, I have included photos of our room which has built in SHADOW PUPPET LIGHTS on the headboards of both beds! It was set at perfect arm height so I know for sure that’s what these were intended for. Sure you could use it to balance your checkbook at night when the lamp switch is just too far to reach or to finish reading the paper from last week you stole from the lobby when the front desk staff was checking you in, but that’s boring. Live with purpose, make shadow puppets often. Shuttle service was a huge bonus serving the downtown area, and the staff was amazingly helpful during check-in. We needed a bit of help since we were driving vehicle that wouldn’t fit in the parking structure. Problem was solved immediately and politely.

Nice hotel. Rooms are good nice and clean. Swimming pool was ok. Plenty of parking spots available. Breakfast options are good. Staff was nice. Good customer services. It is close to several restaurants. The best part was hotel shuttle which is free for guests and they give you free pick up and drop off.

This is a quality property in Nashville and a great place to stay while exploring downtown. The rooms are thoroughly modern, ours was clean. The junior queen suite suits a family of 5 well. The staff is very courteous and provides excellent hospitality. The pool was nicer than I expected an indoor pool to be, clean, and pretty big. We were on the 8th floor and the elevators were quick, never had to wait. There is a lot of drinking that happens in Downtown Nashville, and there are no shortage of revelers on the weekends. The hotel shuttle was great, takes you pretty much anywhere you want to be, but the wait times can be a little long. We don't often book hotels at full price, but this one was worth it and we would stay again.

The staff was very friendly, but we were celebrating our anniversary so I spent way more for a nice room because of that. The room was dirty, but we tried to make the best of it. However, I thought I would treat my wife to a freshly cooked breakfast made at the hotel. We ordered and paid almost 30 dollars only to be served cold food. I was so disappointed. My wife even cried because it was a complete let down. Definitely won't be going back.

We had a great stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Nashville! Sean, the front office manager, took great care of us. Hotel is dog friendly and the hotel is in a perfect location close to Vanderbilt & Music Row! The staff are wonderful and hotel is very clean! Pool and workout facility are on the ground level, but there is a 9th floor terrace. Thank you Sean & team for a great stay!

We visited with great expectations. We were the only guests for a late lunch/early dinner. I ordered the pad thai and it was off. I lived in Southeast Asia for seven years and know how this dish should taste. I was very disappointed. My wife ordered fried rice and it was mushy. My sister-in-law was disappointed with her dish also. I see great reviews for this place, so I am chalking it up to a bad day in the kitchen.

I have been touring the USA for the whole month of May (from Australia) and have done West Coast, Chicago, East Coast and then Nashville in the south. The staff here just go beyond what they have to do to ensure you enjoy the stay and whatever your requests they will meet or attempt to meet. I never dine in Hotels due to food service and prices being below par. Not so in this Hotel, great food great service (not sure about lounge singer in evenings) but top to bottom the best thus far with special mention to Troy, Christine and all the staff. Be proud of yourselves as you do deliver the goods! The South has risen!

Great service from the desk clerks on down, free shuttle to any destination w/in 2 miles of the hotel (but no free shuttle to the airport). Paint peeling in room, though, and very little clothes storage space. Indoor pool and whirlpool, gym seemed very usable. Great location to music venues.

This hotel is the hotel to stay at when in Nashville. The hospitality we experienced was, sincerely said, the best I've had in a long time, if ever. At first we had a small room hang-up (we just needed a change for an in-room jacuzzi) and the room wasn't available that night. However, they offered to move our bags for us in the afternoon AND covered our parking. Not only did they do that, but also wrote a sweet apology card and gifted us free goodies from their store! And later they surprised us with a beer bucket and some snacks that I definitely ate up hanging out in our cool jacuzzi bath. These people are the NICEST, and were always courteous and friendly, and pleasant conversation was common. The great hospitality was not the only perk, either. I would wake up and go downstairs to the exercise room and heated pool, then stop for a quick breakfast of cereal or yogurt or one of the many pastries they had set up. They also had other options along with hot breakfast, but I was usually out by 9 am and decided for something quick with my morning tea. The free shuttle service took me anywhere within a two mile radius, which is perfect for going in and out of downtown, midtown, and the Vanderbilt campus. The drivers were so friendly and quick to show up if you called them back. It made the experience that much better. This is honestly the best place to stay in Nashville.

Hotel is in a great location. Staff is great. However, breakfast set up is a disaster. It’s advertised as a breakfast “buffet”, but that is misleading. In reality, it’s continental breakfast connected to a slow ass restaurant. Leave yourself some time if you want more than a quick bagel.

Clean room, service was great, and very friendly staff. Shuttle drivers all provided great service and recommendations. Nice bar area and good food.

Great location! Staff was excellent with the one exception of the server in the restaurant. I sat there for 10 min after being seated and never got served. So I took advantage of the great location and walked a block to another restaurant. Room was very nice and very comfortable.

Beautiful hotel with nice amenities, spacious rooms, and great staff. I have to call out Shaun who was outstanding at making a new guest feel welcome. He did it the way everyone should do it. He gave his card, said to call him if we need to, etc. I would come back any time and a big part if it is due to how he treated us as soon as well walked in.

I wanted to thank every member of the hotel staff for making our stay as perfect as it turned out. The guest services manager “Troy” surprised us with something to drink and strawberries dipped in chocolate for our 12th anniversary. We will definitely return to this location!

Loved this hotel. The breakfast was awesome. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. We used the shuttle three days in a row. If you decide to walk downtown, it is doable. Walking back to tour room is mostly uphill.

The best service I've ever received at a hotel. The guest services manager, Sean, made us feel like family, and everyone went out of their way to take care of us. Not to mention it is conveniently located, clean, and well-appointed. We'll stay here every time we come to town.

The room was perfectly as described online. The only reason I could not give five stars was for the fact we had breakfast… The chef was rude our food came out 15 minutes apart. Basically a hot continental breakfast with a server who was slow and unable to refill drinks. I have been a Hilton member since 97 and this was by far the one I least liked.

Their check in clerks need to be versed on all processes and procedures. We were told that we were being charged for rooms and an incidental fee upon check in. I was told I would get this money back as long as everything was okay with the room, etc. When we checked out, I was charged an additional $103 for incidentals (parking and breakfast). When I spoke to them about this, I was told I was never charged the original incidental fee. So now I have been charged twice for something and they refuse to do anything about it. WILL NEVER stay here again. You guys made Nashville a terrible experience because of your lack of customer service skills. Also — your shuttle driver, Matthew, should be more considerate when he has people in his vehicle. Making fun of people because of what they're wearing or because they cannot afford a coat is unacceptable and pathetic.

Very nice room with a corner window and huge bathroom. I recommend slippers because the vast expanse of tile floor is cold! The mattress is comfortable, firm but not rock hard like many hotels have. The pillows were too soft for my liking — my head sank down to the mattress — but my husband would have loved them.

Hilton Garden Inn has only valet parking and is a bit out of the way if you're looking to mainly be in downtown Nashville. However if you're visiting Vanderbilt, it is a great location. Amenities are typical with soft and comfortable bedding, quiet rooms, and a pleasant atmosphere. The only downside are the loud hvac systems.

Great hotel because of its location, cleanliness, comfortable beds and spacious rooms. The only drawback is when a neighbor lets their door slam shut, you can hear it and the walls shake! But everything else is so wonderful and I would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic service! I actually had a very early flight out and left my Ugg shoes in the room. When I landed 6 hours later I realized what happened and called the hotel. They had my shoes and overnighted them to me at no charge along with 2 Goo Goo clusters and a handwritten postcard. I'll definitely stay here again!

All in all pretty good. Toilet did not work well in room… room was clean. Cleaning staff great. Front desk staff… fair. Kitchen staff awesome! Breakfast great!

We evacuated from Florida due to hurricane Irma and arrived late last night after over 15 hours of driving. The staff at the Hilton Garden Inn Nashville at Vanderbilt have been warm, welcoming and lovely since the moment we arrived. Russell and his entire staff have gone above and beyond to make us feel at home during this stressful time. We only were able to book a room through Tuesday and with the fear of the unknown of when we'd be able to return home we knew we needed a longer stay. We weren't able to find a hotel room in the area (that allowed dogs) for any days after Tuesday. Russell took it upon himself to find us a temporary home until we are able to return to Florida. He worked absolute magic which has enabled us to remain in this lovely hotel and in our same room until we are able to leave. Russell went above and beyond to give us peace of mind while we now wait to see what affects this storm will have. He is our hero! This is an absolutely awesome hotel. Rooms are large and well appointed. The lobby is beautiful and the location rocks! The hotel totally exceeded our expectations! This is our new home (for now) and we couldn't feel more fortunate! Oh and one more note — the back office even came out to meet us and introduce our dog to a dog of one of the employees here. So even Lucy, our doggy, felt welcomed and loved. This is an exceptional staff! Thank you Hilton Garden Inn!

The conference rooms on the top floor are top notch with professional wait staff, huge bathrooms, and plenty of space to set up registration/vendor tables/photo areas. The ball room even has a dance floor. I'd estimate the space is great for 300-500 people.

Everyone seems very kind and considerate. People outside on streets are so personable. I woyld come back in a heartbeat. Love it here so far. Thank you.

We stayed in the room with a whirlpool tub which was very relaxing. The room had a fridge and microwave and Keurig. Downstairs all staff members were friendly and hospitable. The breakfast was delicious. My only complaint is they charged me for valet parking when we self parked, but I will call them and hopefully they will fix it.

Our room want ready until 5:15pm and check in is at 4pm. We weren't told about the hotel shuttle service when checking in or continental breakfast. The room was clean and we had plenty of towels and wash clothes for our family of 4. The shuttle service was great for anywhere within a 2 mile radius.

Excellent location with a free shuttle that makes a quick trip downtown and walking distance to many excellent food destinations. Good coffee and comfortable beds. I'll stay here again if I stay overnight in Nashville.

The room is nice, the beds are comfortable and the staff is excellent. We would definitely stay here again!

Great service. Amenities in the room are good and refreshed daily. E. G water bottles for free each day. Normally you only get one bottle at the beginning of your stay at other hotels. Location is also good, right next to great food and drink options.

Service was great, rooms were clean and nice, and the location was fantastic. Only downside is breakfast was a tad pricy.

Where to begin… Upon initially entering my room I thought it was a nice room for business travel as I would not be staying that long, this by far was the worst experience ever. The bedding was not fresh as I found someone else's hair and what appeared to be dirty skin fragments on the sheets, mind you I had just turned my bed down for the first time. In the adjacent queen bed I found bugs. The room was not services until I asked though I had nothing indicating I didn't want service, I assume someone perhaps forgot. Lastly after sleeping in the desk chair for 2 nights refusing to sleep in the bed I was ready to depart and get back to the cleanliness and comfort of my own home. Highly disappointed, definitely NOT any Hilton I am used to.

Very nice rooms, clean dining area, great breakfast — the crepes were fantastic! Easy to navigate parking garage. Just the right number of Grand Ole Opry references in the lobby.

Proof customer service is not dead. Erica showed a genuine interest in our stay when we checked in — was super friendly and just all around awesome. We went to dinner for our anniversary and came back to a bottle of champagne and strawberries. We were floored. I always stay at Hilton's when I travel for work, and usually for pleasure, but the attention to detail and them going above and beyond to make my 12th anniversary special has secured them as my go to hotel for *everything*. The room is great — clean, attractive, etc — all you expect from a hotel of this level, but the customer service has put them tiers above other hotels.

The rooms are nice. The beds are extremely comfortable and the location is convenient. What impressed me was the free shuttle to anything with 2 miles.

Erica and Deven were very courteous and highly efficient. The shuttle service at this hotel is also commendable and reliable. Can't think of any excuses for not staying here again. Only suggestion is sound proofing rooms a little more as the road noise could be irritating at times.

Second stay on property. Very friendly staff who go out of their way to make guests as comfortable as possible. Rooms are nice and include a sweet treat for any chocolate lover. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and will book my room there again on my next trip to Nashville.

I'm a HHilton rewards member and have to say, I was very disappointed with my stay in Nashville. The staff was polite but the room was very noisy and the water trickled out of the shower — no pressure at all. Sadly, I found this out the next morning after a poor nights rest. Would not recommend this hotel for those reasons.

Reservation Manager Andrew has the worst customer service attitude I ever dealt with in any hotel business. Had 2 rooms, canceled one, and he canceled the other with no notice to me at all. Called to rectify the situation and he did absolutely nothing for me. I had to re-book at a higher rate! If my trip was not in a few days I would not be staying there at all.

Beware their words, they are not worth a penny! When I dropped off my car at their valet, I specifically asked if the valet will be available at 4am. They promised all will be fine and someone will be there bring the car. Well, when I checked out, I was told I need to go and pick up the car and was handed my keys. When asked whether I will be charged, they said, yes they will and that I can complain to the manager if I need to. Looks like this is a modus operandi to make cheap bucks! It was just a night, glad it was not longer.

The GM Balin Ali took exceptional care of us on check out. Hilton Reservation made a mistake on room cost where Balin corrected this on the spot. Could have been a nightmare that he smoothed out quickly and with integrity. Will certainly stay here again. Clean rooms with exceptional service.!

Staff was great, room was comfortable, rates were reasonable. My only complaint is the construction site next door: the crew started jack hammering at 6:00AM (8/25/15) which woke me up. Not this hotel's fault, but certainly would not stay here again until after construction is complete. I did inquire about city ordinance with MPD, and am awaiting a response.

Shuttle was on time, entire staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were cleanas bars and a the fabulous music. Missed a free breakfast buffet.

Wonderful. Valet service was very helpful, when I needed to get a bag of dog food which I had left in the car.

While the names escape me the two people behind the counter when I checked in (4/23) were beyond FANTASTIC the other staff I interacted with could learn from them. The walls were very thin and the beds could have been better for the price of room (wont even get into the pay parking) but the location is great. It is very difficult for me to get past how when at checkout I attempted to ask the young lady (who I thought was there to assist guests) a question and was unable to even fully ask the question before she was answering/brushing me off. She never even looked me in the eye. VERY POOR excuse for hospitality. At the same time the person I was traveling with thought an article of clothing may have mistakenly gotten mixed in with towels by housekeeping. Well I stood and waited while it was checked on. And waited. And waited. And waited. While I understand there is alot of laundry to check and that is going to take more than a couple minutes. If a guest has an issue like that acknowledge them as they stand in the lobby, a simple "they're still checking" or even looking in the persons direction will go a long way in customer satisfaction aka return business. The thin walls and odd bed were nothing to complain about but those last 15 minutes or so have totally turned me away from this property ever again.

Great clean room with a comfortable bed. I was a bit offended that no free breakfast items were offered. Instead, you'll cough up $13 if you want a decent breakfast. It also costs $23 to park per day, and most of the TV channels wouldn't work.

We had a great overnighter at this Hilton Garden Inn. All staff members were professional, attentive and polished. Room was superb. Clean, quiet — with a Keurig near the fridge and microwave. We did not visit the restaurant, but it did look good. Extra thank you to the housekeeping staff and the young woman at the front desk, who we believe was named Chelsea. No matter how busy she was, she looked up and said hello each time we passed by. We will return to this hotel for a longer stay in the future.

My partner and I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden. Everyone of the staff were really helpful and friendly. The room we had was really nice with whirlpool bath and big TV (not that I watched it a lot). We ate breakfast there every morning and it was really good, the servers were ever so friendly. I can't remember one, but Shelly, Heather and Erika spring to mind. The bartenders Steven and Edward were a laugh when we enjoyed a drink at the bar. The reception staff always greeted us with a smile. Would really recomend this hotel.

Great hotel in the center of everything.

When I first called to book our trip, the fellow who answered continually placed me on hold and eventually asked to return my call at a later time. He seemed nice enough, and later offered to upgrade us to a corner room. I had asked for a room with a view, if possible, as it was not only a trip to celebrate my 30th birthday, but the first trip my husband and I had ever taken alone together. The view we were greeted with was that of a run down carwash/gas station. But, down to the meat of the review. The beds are supposed to be adjustable. Ours must have been stuck on the "granite" setting. I awoke at 6 am saying, "Oh my god, it hurts. " I spent part of the morning in tears, as I had spent $200 a night to spend my birthday in the most uncomfortable bed I've ever been in. I went to the front desk. I told the attendant that the bed settings were broken, and that the carpet was softer than that mattress. He showed no remorse, never said that he was sorry I had a miserable night. He asked my room number and said he would send someone to check on it. He never did. No one visited our room. I awoke the next morning at 5am in tears again. By 6 am, I was at the front desk, in my pajamas, crying to the attendant. I couldn't even stand up straight. I told him again about the bed, he didn't seem to care. I also mentioned that, according to the bill that had been slipped under our door, parking was not a flat $20, but was a per diem, which was not disclosed to us previously.

BEST FOOD ever at a Garden Inn. The Southern Lunch Buffet is to die for, and breakfast very good too. Rooms seem to have a recent refresh with big screen TV's. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Above average Garden Inn. Good restaurant choices within walking distance.
