This hotel is the hotel to stay at when in Nashville. The hospitality we experienced was, sincerely said, the best I've had in a long time, if ever. At first we had a small room hang-up (we just needed a change for an in-room jacuzzi) and the room wasn't available that night. However, they offered to move our bags for us in the afternoon AND covered our parking. Not only did they do that, but also wrote a sweet apology card and gifted us free goodies from their store! And later they surprised us with a beer bucket and some snacks that I definitely ate up hanging out in our cool jacuzzi bath. These people are the NICEST, and were always courteous and friendly, and pleasant conversation was common. The great hospitality was not the only perk, either. I would wake up and go downstairs to the exercise room and heated pool, then stop for a quick breakfast of cereal or yogurt or one of the many pastries they had set up. They also had other options along with hot breakfast, but I was usually out by 9 am and decided for something quick with my morning tea. The free shuttle service took me anywhere within a two mile radius, which is perfect for going in and out of downtown, midtown, and the Vanderbilt campus. The drivers were so friendly and quick to show up if you called them back. It made the experience that much better. This is honestly the best place to stay in Nashville. It's not right in the city so it isn't too loud, it's perfect walking distance from cool, unique restaurants (and Nashville's famous hot chicken) and close to downtown with a free ride to pretty much anywhere in it. I might also add that the room we were originally put in was not a bad room by any means, it was just a small technical issue. Perfect hotel and lovely staff made this trip. Thanks Hilton Garden Inn!
