Excellent place to sa Yay!

Beware. Theft. Stayed here last weekend and had all of Christmas gifts stolen out of our car and only persons with access is valet and hotel. Police report filed. Now general manager, Ian, will not return calls. Never offered anything to us (comp’ed room, etc) and acts as if he doesn’t care about this situation as evidenced by his lack of responsiveness. Would NOT recommend staying here.

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The facility was very clean.

The staff are very rude need to learn hospitality first and foremost,! Check in you find out about outrageous parking fees, valet parking nobody parked my car. Get home to find charges on card when I had left early Sunday morning. Called them waited over 20 minutes to get said charges removed, calling corporate office this place needs major work!

35 per night parking. Insane and they dont even park your car. No housekeeping. Look somewhere else.

I never stayed there but they cancelled reservations no questions asked due to the coronavirus. That’s great customer service.

Why aren’t the huge, expensive hotels in downtown Nashville not offering to house people in need of a place to stay after them losing everything?! They make millions off of this city. It’s time to step up and pay it forward. Marriott, Omni, Renaissance, countless others. Get it together!

Great location, staff and amenities. You are a quick walk, Uber, or shuttle to everything awesome in Nashville. Beautiful decor, newly renovated.

Nicest Courtyard I’ve ever visited. The entire staff was incredibly friendly. Felt like we were staying at a Chick Fil A.

Service was very poor! Professionalism also gets low marks! Cleanliness of the room was average except for the coffee pot! Horrible! And the response was the worst I’ve ever experienced! Not just a dirty coffee machine but a filthy unsanitary machine that couldn’t be used. I was told I could BUY Starbucks if I still want coffee! Ha! No managers available for over 24 hours.

Great rooms very nice and clean hotel but was in disbelief about having to pay 35$ to park in their own structure. There was also no complimentary breakfast for guest of any sort had to walk down the street for breakfast.

In my fourth Marriott in three years. This is second one being renovated on contemporary European which is bad decor (IMHO), was not aware it was under renovation, and the fumes are awful. If this was a personal trip, I would be changing hotels right now… The other trips were 1) renovation, 2) damp and moldy and 3) severely over priced wine.

Lobby STILL under construction; only one elevator working, but Sunday morning that elevator broke down … had to use stairs for 6th floor; noisiest hotel ever … could clearly hear the people in the next room, drunk partiers roaming the halls; use Marriotts for all business and recreational use, this was THE WORST! Definitely not worth the money!

Staff was friendly however the room smelled like moldy carpet, shower curtain had stains and the room was just dingy as a whole. The pool was a nice touch though as well as the shuttle. The hotel is close to a lot of great restaurants but you definitely need to use the shuttle to get to the main strip. We would stay again but please clean those rooms up!

Rooms are clean, a bit outdated, wish they had USB plugs in rooms, valet was slow and disorganized. Excellent location, overall enjoyable but room to be better with as much competition in area.

Beautiful hotel, a pool, outside patio, laundry room, free drinks, smart tv's, sleek designs, and professional (but friendly! ) workers! The only problem I had was parking. Since they are in the city, they barely have a parking lot. So park across the street or valet?

Overall a great place to stay! Loved the free shuttle service! Room was clean, staff were friendly, and front desk was extremely helpful. Less than 80 feet from The Row, Hattie B’s, and Gigi’s cupcakes. Parking was confusing; just plan on valet parking and you’ll be fine. $35/day.

Staff was friendly and rooms were clean. We requested two twin beds but we're given a king instead. You also have to do valet parking because they don't have a lot on site.

I am a loyal gold status customer. I stay in Marriott several times per month. When I arrived at this particular hotel we were greeted by Amy. I asked for an upgrade which I was eligible for. I requested the rooms with a balcony. She gladly obliged and said she was happy to upgrade us. The upgrade was actually a downgrade. We were expecting the room overlooking the pool and a balcony we could sit on. We had a balcony alright… a two foot wide balcony which overlooked a disgusting dumpster area and was… well… laughable. I am not even certain why they exist. There was dirty laundry lining our hallway. The shower curtain rod was hanging and loose which resulted in the shower curtain not closing so the bathroom floor would just flood with water while you showered. The ice machine on our floor was inoperable. They gave a stranger a room key and room number with our room. We had a service dog in the room and luckily we were there at the time the man tried to enter our room. The picture on the website of the pool is very deceiving. It looks large… it is a tiny little pool area with very few chairs so our pool plan was a flop as well. All in all it was one of the poorest Marriott Courtyards that I have stayed in and I have stayed in many. I would rate it on the low end of the spectrum and poor qality for the price you pay. Now that I have used all my rewards points I actually thing we will be switching to Hilton properties.

I stayed over the week, end of 5/18/18. I must say from booking my room, check in, house keepin (100% friendly and over the top helpful), to the girls at the Bistro Coffee Shop, to the Shuttle driver. Your atmosphere was so friendly and everyone was so helpful. We will be back. Your staff is so kind. You don't always see that when traveling.

Staff are very friendly and do the best with what they have. Picts are misleading, my room I have to keep the curtains closed or stare at people at the pool. Feels like a coffin. I asked for a nice room with a view as I am here 7 days going back and forth to the hospital and wanted somewhere to unwind. I am not here to party or go out, just a place to sleep. 1:30 or 3:30am someone started moving chairs on the pool deck, 7:30 loud music started playing in the pool area. Compared to the courtyard I stayed in a week so, night and day difference.

The staff was welcoming and very pleasant to be around. My room was clean and well-kept. Very pleased with the service and quality I receive from my money.

Everything in or near downtown Nashville is expensive and this hotel is no exception. Staff was friendly and attentive, however I think the building maintenance is lacking. Bumps and grinds on the walls, slow elevators, closet door was missing in my room (though the track was there). The refrigerator in my room did not work. Also, we were without water in the building for significant periods over two days. This hotel is easy walking distance from the Vanderbilt campus, plus a good number of bars and restaurants. They offer free shuttle service to the downtown strip. Parking is by valet only and $$$.

Housekeeping was a nice enough to leave us with a half roll of toilet paper. When we arrived, I told the valet service that I would park my car. I was informed that they would park my car. There was no mention of an extra charge for this service. My bill was to be about $163 but they charged me $202. When asked why the difference. It was the $35 valet fee plus customer tax. I told them that I wanted to park my own car. The lady at checkout told me that she did not where I planned to park. Apparently the parking garage they have is to only be used by the valets.

I've stayed here several times and atany similar properties across the globe. Their current staff is very helpful and welcoming. Keep in mind the location is more a budget option for the area so don't expect perfection from rooms.

The rooms were clean however no information in room about anything reference ice, vending, shuttle, etc. The employees were nice. The little market didn’t stay stocked very well. the parking is not the best. It is very pricey for being a mile + away from music row. thank goodness for a nice shuttle driver, however it should have later hours. ***** it is very very pricey for breakfast. Be sure and check your bill for extra bistro charges. No response from mackenzie or anyone after 3 days and 4 calls.

Staff is very friendly. We were a little disappointed in housekeeping. We were there for 2 days and she came in our room and made our bed but left the pull out, didn't even touch it. We folded the bottom up so we could get ready and it was still that way when we returned. We asked for a comforter for the pull out as there was only a sheet and a blanket in closet. The comforter was old and thin. I realize we were there under the employee rate but we should still get the same service. Sunflower checked us in and she was great and valet was very attentive.

After 4 phone calls in the past 2 weeks we finally have our reservation changed from a king bed room to a double bed room. Unfortunately the group rate that was applied has expired. After all the calls most have been polite and helped the best they could but couldn't cancel the 4 rooms that were booked incorrectly. The gentleman I talked to tonight wasn't as nice but confirmed our reservation was set correctly before hanging up after I said thank you and not even saying good bye. We have stayed at multiple Marriott hotels around the US and have had great service. We hope our stay is better than the problems we have had getting the reservations.

Everyone working were very polite and helpful. Very clean and comfortable. Will stay again when in town.

This hotel boasts of clean rooms, a big comfy bed, valet and self parking, Netflix enabled TVs, cable, and a spectacular loaction. The only criticism I have is with the bathroom sink actually being outside the bathroom. If one person needs to wake earlier than another the sound and light will surely wake them. Also the bathroom door when open nearly hits the toilet. It's a strange layout, but overall the location and Netflix TV leads me to recommend this hotel.

Parking is extra ($30.00/$32.00) a day so if you have a car, think about that. The staff: very friendly, talkative and helpful. Check in/out was a breeze. TIP: check in is at 4:00 we arrived at 3:00 and no rooms were available before check in, although we requested a room in tower 2 (newer tower) or we would have been able to get in earlier. I recommend if you can get a room in Tower II you try that option. Newer and less crowded.

The lobby area was always bustling they have a Starbucks and bistro there for what I'd consider more quick bites.

Good place for lodging, the parking is 30 and the valet parking 32, I recommend the valet for convenience and good service.

We had to come into Nashville for unexpected surgery at the Veterans Hospital. The person that checked me in was offensive. We were given room 1223 if you stay there refuse that room. They blast music outside till 9 pm the speaker and entrance is directly beneath room 1223. Hoped to get a good nights rest but did not get that at all. I called down and they shut it off and about the time I got to sleep they turned the music back on! Oh and $30 to park in your building that is crazy. The sheets and towels smelt stale and like they had been exposed to second hand smoke. I have no clue what the other rooms were like but stay away from room 1223 if you stay there!

The staff was friendly at check-in and the valet service was quick. The location is easy to access. The rooms are older but were clean and in good repair.

If you have business do not depend on the timeliness of the shuttle. It is better to call Uber or Lift. Also, I requested the top floor to minimize noise due to being a light sleeper. Extremely noisy from the road and the 2 am garbage truck. Staff very friendly and helpful and room is clean.

This Courtyard is showing its age, bit the staff are great. I like that there is a shuttle to take me to the office when I am visiting Nashville. Very centrally located, with lots of restaurant choices within walking distance.

Rooms were nice, clean. Staff was respectful and helpful. We had a bit of a mix up between the hotel and their communication with expedia but once that was sorted out everything was smooth from there.

The room was a standard hotel room and it was clean. The bathroom is a bit dated and makes some odd noises but there is nothing that can fix that without a remodel. Upon arrival my room and several other people's rooms were not ready. This didn't bother me as much but I would have appreciated if they made a list of those waiting. I felt like rooms similar to mine were given away while I waited but a wait list would have eliminated this feeling. They staff otherwise was perfectly helpful and nice.

The two towers is inconvienent getting between the two for parking, gym, pool. Try to get tower 2. Great spot for food and bars. The gym was adequate. Laundry card says it has bundle service but items are actually dry cleaned and cost a fortune, so take it elsewhere or it is 1.50 for dryer and washer to do it yourself. The dryer kept eating my quarters though from the door popping open and the time reseting each time that happened so I wasted $4.50 and hours on that; prop something against it to stay shut.

Nothing to special. In a good location to University and to workplace for my overnight. Able to walk to nearby food locations but nothing great inside the hotel itself.

We've been here since Friday and it took until Monday for our room to be cleaned, and we had to request it. Now today we have been out of the room since 9am and it's now 4:30pm and our room still hasn't been cleaned. The front desk staff is very friendly, but the cleaning staff has awful service. For over $300 a night I think that's absolutely unacceptable.

I discovered a bed bug this morning in my room at the hotel and I think it’s safe to assume that its whole family is staying at the hotel as well. The situation was promptly addressed by the hotel GM personally, but needless to say, I’m done with that hotel. I know it’s gross, but I attached a picture to this review in case you are wondering what one looks like. I saved it under a glass for the senior hotel staff to see for themselves. It looks very similar to a tick… ick.

People are great, very helpful. We had a room with a king bed with a balcony I would describe as adequate, decent size. Balcony was small. There was a love seat that opened to a bed, we didn't use it. There were only three drawers for our clothes. My wife lived out of her suit case for 6 days. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of pillows and blankets. A/C was great. Shower was good, plenty of hot water.

This hotel is decent but feels really old. Everything worked okay the staff was pleasant and helpful. Parking is a bit of a hassle due to their very small driveway but they have a big garage onsite so there are lots of spaces. Like many Courtyards there is a Bistro restaurant offering meals all day as well as coffee. The mornong manager of the Bistro was extremely attentive and walked around to talk to various guests. He also offered me fresh potatoes one morning when he noticed mine covered in a mound of pepper (the lid wasn't screwed on tightly so it all fell on my plate).

Couldn't check in until after 5:30pm when arrived, room not ready. They did however check someone else in the next morning around 10am, why do I care? Well because they got checked into OUR room, so they swiped their key and waltzed on into our room to our mutual surprise. Come on people!

Room I stayed in was clean and well kept. It was also spacious and accommodating. Parking is pricey, but I understand the price based on the location. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

My wife and I stayed for the weekend. Everything was very nice. The staff is very accommodating. The only reason that this isn't a 5 star review is because when we first got to the hotel on Friday my wife had to wait at the front desk for a little too long before she was helped. Other than that, I would really call this a 4.5 star review. The room was very clean. The exercise area is very good, as well.

The staff was exceptionally friendly. The was construction going on near the hotel and you are on a main road. The hotel is not well insulated but they did have earplugs in the rooms. The room was nice but the bed was uncomfortable. The staff tried putting extra padding which worked for my husband but not for me. They offered to switch our room. The location is great. Lots of area restaurants. I would stay there again but request an interior room without a balcony. I thonk that added to the noise issues.

The pool is lovely, I hope it's not 2 deep. I hope they have BIG rings 4 little kids 2 stay on & not fall off & drown. I can't swim, I'm 9 yrs old. I wish I could come.

I really appreciated the staff that helped us during our stay. My sister arrived on a Friday night for a low-key girl's weekend, and we were given a really nice room on a noisy floor. I totally get it: college kids visiting for a football game ready to go out on a Friday night! But we were exhausted and were worried that would drive us crazy all night. I called downstairs and they moved us to a much quieter area without any fuss at all. What could have been a frustrating night was turned into a pleasant start to our weekend because of the hotel staff.
