I have a service dog which is cleaner and better behaved then most people, since it’s on my rewards profile they automatically put us in a stinky pet room! Hotel is in need of a lot of maintenance and cleaning. I will never stay here again and would most definitely suggest others to find a better hotel as well. I am a long time IHG member and Spire level in status. This is one of the worst IHG properties I have ever stayed at.

Our room had the strong and distinct smell of a nursing home with 1990's potpourri and cleaner. Don't worry about getting any business done the internet is really slow and often disconnects. TV and remote we're not connected and we had the pleasure of the manager standing in our room for 30min googling it. Do yourself a favor and stay across the street, it's $20 more with an excellent breakfast, fast internet and nice beds.

Wi-Fi is horrible room is cleaned but not great. Beds are a square and pillows are basically nothing.

Not a bad little place. Staff is very friendly. Had to switch rooms due to the ac not working. When I tried to call the desk the phone didn't work too well.

To whom it may concern, I was booked for June 27th through July 1st. Adam who took my reservation was very accommodating and professional. Upon check in Steve was equally accommodating. When my family and I entered the room and placed our luggage on the queen bed closest to the bathroom,  my wife moved the pillow and noticed THE MOST DISGUSTING, DISTURBING, SOILED, UNSANITARY SHEETS WE HAVE EVER SEEN. Not only were the sheets horribly stained (please reference the attached pictures) but the sink had a dirty dish in it and there was a dirty cooking pot on the stove with very difficult to describe chunks of whatever in it. There is more… when I go to hang up my shirts, the closet floor had some form of filth all over it as well (picture also attached) that we cannot even begin to describe.  Clearly this room was not sanitary by even a 1 star hotels standards but this is an IHG hotel… IHG does NOT represent themselves this way. They are a respected firm with high standards and they will know at the highest corporate levels about how disgusting this hotel is and how Management/franchise ownership has no standards of cleanliness per the IHG norm. I will be posting these pictures on any media I can so not to subject any one else to such terrible standards. The only thing this hotel has going for it is the two gentlemen I mentioned. Adam for being so willing to accommodate and Steve.

Love the Candlewood chain and would recommend to anyone! I've stayed at several over the past 4 years and have not been disappointed. Rooms are spacious and include all of the enmities of a studio apartment. Their suit options are great with separate sleeping area. When staying out if state for ant length of time I will always try to find a Candlewood first!

Was a great place. Good continental breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.

Good option if at right price. Off highway a bit.

The staff was very friendly. My only complaints are there is no elevator, and this location could benefit from the maintenance and cleaning departments paying more attention to details.

Be careful … this place has cockroaches … after informing these people they sprayed in two spots then left … I will never stay here again…

We were hurricane Irma run aways — Excellent Hotel! AAA+++ Friendly staff with great accomodations (special low price for hurricane victims) we stayed in a king suite with kitchenette, very spacious & clean room with very comfortable bed, felt very luxurious. Everyday family activities & cookouts! I can't thank them enough for the great hospitality. Highly recommended hotel ♡

The rooms are clean, the staff are helpful and kind, this is a pet friendly hotel that offers plenty of room for four legged furry loved ones to stay and play. I love this place.

This is the best extended stay hotel I've ever stayed at. The staff is amazing and were just as friendly on day one, as they were 4 months to the end. Jake, Val, Devon, Amy Smart and the housekeeping make this place feel like home.

Great hotel with great shower and my room didn't smell like cigarettes smoke! Very clean! I wish they had breakfast.

If your liking for the bare basics then this is the place to stay. I will not be staying at another one.

We were there due to Hurrican Irma. The staff couldn't have been more hospitable and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable, clean our pets were welcome. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed at Candlewood Suites on Thursday on our way to family to evacuate Florida due to Hurricane Irma. We live in Estero in SW Florida. The drive was extremely long, tiring and stressful. The staff at the hotel were more than hospitable. Our room was very large, very clean and comfortable. The list of restaurants and suggestions from staff made our choices easy. On top of all that, the next morning, dreading to get back on the road, I forgot to pack my robe. I called this morning and Steven was so helpful! He located my robe and told me how I can receive it in the mail! After the turmoil we're in and continue to go through with worry about Irma and our home and community, this stay was comforting. Thank you.

Clean rooms, comfortable bed, friendly staff, but the internet is much too slow.

We loved the high ceilings! The room was very clean, pet friendly, and close to a variety of shops and restaurants, and only minutes from the dog park.

Checked into Candlewood Suites Murfreesboro only to find our bed coated in old black hair. The room smelled like urine. We got out as fast as we possibly could and headed to Hampton Inn & Suites Murfreesboro, where the bedding is perfectly clean. If a hotel cannot be bothered to wash bedding between guests, they should not be in operation. First photo was Candlewood bed. Second photo is Hampton, where we are happily camped in bed now.

Love the service… Nice staff and very accommodating. I've stayed several times and it's always been nice.

Nice rooms, and staff, there are 2 grills in the gazebo but only one of them works, ppl have to wait and take turns using it. The Wi-Fi is terrible.

Beautiful hotel! Rooms were so clean and very neat and tidy… we had everything we needed and more… the people were so friendly and my family loved this place. Great location by everything you need, restaurants, Walgreens everything! Fantastic place to stay!

Clean and well insulated against excessive noise. The reason we chose Candlewood as because we could bring our dog without a terribly excessive pet fee. I was delighted to see a "barkery" and doggie day care next door.

Room was disgusting, dirty dishes still in dishwasher and crumbs in the sheets tells me they never got cleaned either. Fan in bathroom didn't work and sink was cracked. Former 5 star hotel being run into the ground!

Ok location from the interstate, good location in town. Clean. Pleasant staff. Quiet stay. Good value.

They have stuff you can borrow for convince pretty clean and quiet.

Good customer relations, got a clean suite with two queen sized beds and a pullout couch. They do allow pets, check-in was very quick and not a hassle. Environment was not intrusive or loud.

Has mold and mildew and roaches in the rooms on the 1st floor. Management is lazy.

The front desk staff were very friendly & helpful.
The room had a funky smell, the air hardly work, & after my stay I was charged an extra $250 for smoking in the room. (I am a nonsmoker) which I was told they had proof.

Nice hotel. Nice staff. No free breakfast. The Wi-Fi connection at this hotel is horrible. The signal keeps dropping, then sometimes the connection is gone for hours. The internet even when connected goes from being usable to speeds of slower than dial up randomly. There are white stains on the floor next to my bed. And small red stains on the comforter. Its essentially a multi floor motel with kitchens. Also elevator makes funny noises between floors 2-3.

Very nice hotel. Pet friendly. Great staff! Would be nice if they upgraded their pillows. They feel like they are stuffed with cotton balls.

My husband and I stayed there 4/26 on our way back from Florida. Upon check in the girl at the desk (a young looking blond girl) checked us in. Her attitude definitely didn't match the fact she is in a hospitality position. She was borderline rude to both of us. When we walked up she was looking at something on the computer and acted as if our presence bothered her. Then she just gave us our keys and didn't direct us to the elevator or anything. When we left to get something to eat she was outside the hotel with a much older gentleman and didn't even both to speak. Most importantly though she left the desk. This seems completely unprofessional. Upon returning to the hotel, she was inside but clearly had been drinking with the older man who was sitting in the lobby. Not sure what's going on at this hotel but it's employees need to be evaluated more closely. Our room door didn't shut properly and when my husband told her about it she simply told us to slam it harder. Really? This seems like a nice hotel but she is definitely not cut out to be dealing with people.

Rooms are very nice and quite spacious. Very clean, just wish there was free breakfast.

Very nice and clean hotel, make sure you do not get room 110, the pipes in the wall "thump" all night long and you will never sleep.

The rooms are large and roomy. Nice and clean. Great place to stay.

We had reservations here but could not stay because there were not rooms that had been dedicated to be pet free (my wife's allergies). Many hotels that welcome pets will dedicate a block of rooms for that purpose. The clerk, however, was very helpful in helping us cancel our reservation. It is too bad we were not able to stay because the hotel looks very nice.
