Read the reviews and thought this would be a great place to stay while we were visiting family that lives in the Brentwood area, but I was very disgusted when I over heard the clerk by the name of Tameka talking to someone on the phone and arguing with them telling them she was not f****ed up going back to prison that if so and so kept on then she was going to let him know how she felt, she was very loud and other people in the lobby were looking at her besides us, I am not the judgemental type but I really do not think it was appropriate to be arguing with someone on a cell phone or say some of the things that were said while at work in front of others. My grandma asked to speak to a manager and whoever the guy was that was behind the counter with her claimed to be the manager on duty but he was standing there listening to the entire conversation that the clerk had that we heard too but did nothing about it. I wanted to post it on here because something should be done about this kind of behavior, its absolutely disgusting.

The hotel was pretty nice. I expect it will be nicer when they finish renovations, which were underway during my visit. The location is great, right off the highway and close to some restaurants. The fitness center has dumbbells, and the breakfast area was nice. The only complaint had to do with the renovations. They started cutting and hammering on things at 7am, and it sounded like they were right outside my door.

Not sure the reason for some of the poor reviews. This place has the friendliest staff of any hotel I've ever stayed at. Newly remodeled rooms and a decent free breakfast. Would 100 percent stay here again without question.

We enjoyed starting here. Beverly and Cameron were wonderful and hospitable, as well as the rest of the staff. They we able to move us to a room with a bath, thankfully, and they were very polite about it too! Renovation is still under way. Our floor wasn't renovated yet, and some of the main floor was still under construction. Breakfast is included, but is usually underwhelming, but there was some good food to eat and the staff was very kind. All-in-all, a good experience.

These just renovated rooms are very clean and up to date. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great breakfast is free and not just some donuts and crappy coffee.

Good experience, costumer service was prompt. The building had one side under construction but it did make the experience any bad. My only one complaint is the lack of parking space.

Very impressed with this hotel! Cameron was the desk clerk that checked us in and he was very attentive. Later I came back by the desk and he was entertaining some kids that were in the lobby playing. He was very high energy and very attentive. He went above expectations to make sure everyone had a good stay. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable.

Whenever we travel we choose to stay at a Holiday Inn Express, and until last night’s stay, we’ve never had an issue. First, the fire alarms in the two rooms next to us were going off for the majority of the night (I’m assuming due to someone smoking in those rooms). We contacted the front desk, via our cell phone, because the room phone didn’t work! However, nothing was done about the fire alarms sounding off! Secondly, there wasn’t a working ice machine to be found! Finally, the mattress was extremely broken down and the linens had old stains! Gross! Very, very disappointed and it wasn’t worth the money we paid for the night!

I stayed in one of the “renovated” rooms. The bathroom door wouldn’t close, the toilet felt as if it weren’t even mounted to the floor, the microwave didn’t work, and to top it off no one even bothered plugging in the refrigerator. Possibly the worst Holiday Inn I’ve ever stayed at and I’ve stayed at dozens. There is a Hampton Inn across the street that is undoubtedly better.

Hotel is under remodeling construction. But the crew is quiet and courteous to the guests. Don't even know they are here! Fantastic lodgings and toom, not to mention the outstanding breakfast! Will definitely stay here again!

Newly remodeled! This staff just may be THE friendliest team I have ever encountered during my travels. Very welcoming… felt like family. They are so excited about their renovations and proud of their product and it shows in every aspect of their amazing attitudes. Kudos! Great job y'all!

Unfriendly staff, unclean rooms, hallways, elevator and room floors not vacuumed/cleaned during my 4 day stay. Dining area not clean with food debris on tables that were not in use. Expected more from a Holiday Inn, will not recommend to friends or family, nor visit again. Good area, near shopping and eating entities.

This is a typical Holiday Inn express. Although it is severely outdated. It needs a complete remodel. The staff are polite and the Wi-Fi worked well.

Honestly, everything about this Holiday Inn Express was terrible! Will never stay here again on our way to Fl. An example of an excellent Holiday Inn Express — the one in Bowling Green, KY at exit 22. We always stay there on trips returning from Fl.

I called in to reserve a conference room, as well as 10 hotel rooms for 3 nights and was told the lady that does these arrangements wasn't in and that I should call back tomorrow. When I asked if I could give them my info, I was told that she likely wouldn't call me back. Looks like my $4, 000+ reservation request wasn't worth their time.

It was good. They are remodeling. So understandably they weren't 100% on point. I will say the breakfast staff were amazing!

Pretty typical holiday Inn. It was undergoing some renovations on the third floor but was not disturbed by it. They have a decent size gym for a small hotel and friendly staff.

Coffee was good. Air conditioner was horrible. Staff were pleasant. Place was nice and clean.

The breakfast staff was awesome, the food was well cooked and not water downed or cold. Good hot coffee, and the place was well kept and very cute! Easy to park and get into the rooms! We stayed here with our children on the first floor and didn't have to worry about them bothering other people, it was quiet except when the train came through, but the train didn't keep us awake or wake us up at all. My toddler loved being able to see the train from his room!

Overall pretty good. The internet could be a little slow, but never quite came to a complete stop. There is a train right next door and when it goes by it can almost shake the windows. Unfortunately, it sometimes goes by in the middle of the night. There's a small shopping area nearby with a couple decent places to eat. There's a much wider selection on the west side of the freeway. It is worth that's a short trip to the other side of the freeway for food.

We always stay at Holiday Inn Express. I have stayed at this location before but it really needs some updating. Carpets are nasty in the halls. Staff is always great and love the cinnamon rolls.

I got a great room, it's a good hotel at a reasonable price. The location is excellent and near so many other hotels and right off the interstate. The rooms are clean and the execute suits are great for a Holiday INN express.

This is a "budget hotel", but still was my favorite of our trip (it beat Hampton Inn with better bedding/pillows, and a pretty great breakfast bar). No issues with cleanliness. Staff is also very friendly!

The Holiday inn is a great hotel for families. Over my 4 day stay my family and I were very comfortable. The continental breakfast was free and while the quality wasn't horrible, it did reflect the price. The staff made the whole experience great however! Loved it!

I can't say enough about the staff. Yheyy took care of me very well, fixed an issue at check in while going above and well beyond, and they made sure I had a great stay. It was quiet for being that close to the interstate and the bed was fairly comfortable. Perfect for business travel.

The room was relatively clean. Bathroom freshly caulked. The AC was cold, breakfast was adequate and had a very nice variety. The hallways had CAT5 cable zip tied up and it looked pretty tacky. As a hotel we stayed at on a long trip, we would stay again. Price seemed high for what we got compared to other Brentwood hotels.

Horrible! Police were there all night due to parties and noise. We had to be up at 5am and went to sleep after 3am finally. At checkout we were told that no manager was there but that the bill would be adjusted as they had a lot of complaints. Just received my Visa statement and guess what… No adjustment. No call. No apology. Just a bill for full price and not even a sorry you got two hours sleep and paid 200.00 after taxes and fees! We had a horrible experience. To lit ran all night too and sorry there is no one here to fix it.

Overpriced for what you get. Railroad keeps you up and if that didn't the drain from upper level will. We should expect higher quality from HIE.

We had a little trouble getting into our hotel room upon check in but managment made up for it 10 fold! The breakfast bar is great! Turkey or pork sausage, eggs, cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit and more! The hotel was clean and we'll kept. We got a double queen room which had 1 soft mattress and 1 firm mattress, which was a huge plus! The price is a little high when there are conventions (which is a given) but otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back when in Nashville.

The rooms are clean and the service is good but for the price ($30-40 higher than most HIE) the facility seems a bit tired and the Wi-Fi is very slow.

Worst hotel ever! Will never stay here again! Stayed twice this week and both rooms have problems! Doors won't close without giving them a shoulder block and one would only open 1/3 of the way. No fridge in the room! And the train! If your planning on sleeping… Forget about it! You can throw a rock from your room and hit the train that runs by every hour on the hour! After laying in the bed for hours trying to sleep I finally just got up and left. Don't stay here! You have been warned!

Rooms are clean with mini refrigerator (like the ones you have in a college dorm room) abd in room coffee maker. 2 separate areas (bed room, lounging room) with TV in each. Lounge room has a fold out bed. Full breakfast is served daily till 9am. Overall the location and amenities were really great.

Horrible Internet connection. Been here three times so far and it's been worse every time. They advertise it as "broadband". You can't even reliably facetime most of the time. I know it's a hotel and you can't expect much but in 2014 I expect a good, stable, fast, internet connection.

DO NOT leave anything in your room. My bag was gone thru and all my medicine stolen and snacks I had in the bag were ate. I contacted the front desk and got the usual sorry but I will contact head of household and see if they found it bullshit. Will not be coming back.

New hotel and very nice place. We had a mini-fridge and microwave in our room, but we paid slightly extra for a larger room with a separate sitting area from the "bedroom". The hotel is also right off of I-65, which made it very convenient for us in our travels. However, we didn't hear any road noise in our room which was really nice. One unexpected bonus was that the hotel is right next to a very nice shopping center with several restaurants including a Panera, Qdoba and an Asian "fusion" restaurant. There is also a Target in the shopping center. We walked over to the restaurants and had dinner. The included breakfast, which I think is the same at all Holiday Inn Express hotels, was fine. They had cereal, pancakes, biscuits & gravy, english muffins, eggs, etc. I would definitely stay here again.
