The staff was extremely helpful and accomodating. The rooms were nice, and the place was very clean. Exercise room was small, but did include free weights.

Very nice hotel with a great location for relaxing. However, this is the first Marriott hotel I have stayed that the staff was unsocialable with the guest. From the moment of check-in the front desk clerk was strictly business to the point with check-in and nothing more. During breakfast, not sure if the breakfast staff did not speak English or just refused to be sociable with the guest but once again, strictly business. This is not like a Marriot hotel but if your individually owned and operated, these hotels don’t have to follow the same standard as the other Marriot hotels. It’s sad to find a Marriot that has an unsociable environment representing their name. I have a few other comments abouy my stay but will reserve those for the survey from the hotel itself.

I am a travel agent so I got extremely good rates on the room, but I have had so many issues I can not recommend to my travelers and will not come back. First there was a gymnastics convention in town. There was a group of them staying at our hotel, in the room above us. They practiced until 2:00am and started again by 7:00am. It sounded like they were going to come through the ceiling. We called the front desk to complain several times, but the jumping never stopped. We asked if we could move to another room and they never offered, so we assumed that meant no. I know this is a pet friendly hotel, but someone a couple of rooms down had a dog that barked non-stop. Like I said I got a GREAT travel agent rate on this room, but I will not come back. I came to have a nice restful 4 day vacation with my family, but it's been anything but restful. Such a shame at first we thought it was going to be a really great place to stay.

The facilty and employees were great. We really enjoyed our time here and would come back and recommend it to others.

We stayed at TownePlace Suites because our heat went out during freezing weather, and we needed to stay at a hotel that allowed dogs. They charge a nonrefundable $100 fee to stay with dogs. While I understand the reason for charging this fee, I disagree with it being almost as much as a night's stay. Extra cleaning doesn't cost that much, and I would sign a statement allowing extra fees if my dogs destroy anything. Why should I be price gouged because other people have ill-behaved pets? Other than my rant on pet fee standards, our stay was pleasant. We did not get the chance to partake of the complimentary breakfast, but it appeared to be a small buffet. The room was clean, the service was good, and the amenities were adequate. I would stay again, if circumstances warranted it.

The hotel staff was extremely nice, the rooms were very clean, an amazing hot breakfast (with choices for all fancies), easily located, and plentiful amenities. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I thought the accommodation were delightful for the price. Even the studio unit is COMPLETELY furnished, everything you need for an extended stay. Very convenient to the interstate. Highly recommended!

Be careful. They do not honor their words there. I've never been mistreated by any and all Marriott brand family except here.

This was one of the best hotels we've stayed at that is apart of the Marriott chain. The room was spacious and cozy. The breakfast was great!

Stayed here for a week. Room was immaculate. Beds were comfortable. Full kitchen. Staff couldn't've been nicer. The only complaint was I ended up switching rooms because the LG TV had a global dimming preset on it and was virtually black. The room I switched to had a great Smart TV. The lobby has the best 24hr. Snack bar I've seen outside of upscale 4-star hotels. Easy parking. Also a back entrance for guests so you can come and go without going through the lobby. Hotel is 2 blocks from every restaurant, coffee shop, Walgreens, etc. Highly recommend this hotel.

One night stay was nice. The location is great if you want to be in the thick of things. Roims are nice with an extended stay feel. Plus, the desk agents were.

We stayed overnight before the eclipse and were very happy with the accommodation. The staff were nice and the rooms spacious. We would stay there again without question.

Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Got breakfast setup every morning is a great plus. Also, full sized fridge and kitchen supplies is great for a a longer stay.

They're always here to greet you with a warm hello. They knew the hood and told me where to go. The lady at the front was there to help out — that's what she does — a treat in her hand, just because. We sat back, relaxed, stayed awhile. We stayed, stayed, stayed awhile. My husband is a traveling man for a month or three. He needed a place where he could just be. The work space helped him Get the job done… then it was time for some grilling fun!

Friendly place with some nice touches, including a fire pit just outside the building. Had an unfortunate ant infestation in the room but the staff was helpful in dealing with it promptly. Not a great thing to have nonetheless, especially on the fifth floor.

We travel all over with our pets and have found common terms within hotels. The term "Pet friendly" used here could be changed to "Pets welcome with fee". Shame on me for not reading the fine print, but pets are only welcome by doubling the cost of your stay. Finding out about the huge deposit and followed up cleaning fee even if your pet behaved perfectly, it didn't add to the mood of our long drive. After that I just wanted to relax in the hot tub. Well guess what? Didn't have one. Then add the thin walls where you can hear people walking around above you. I felt better about the noises above me when I walked to the elevator and heard the bed in some room hitting the wall repeatedly, I couldn't even tell what room it was because I heard it down the entire hallway. I felt sorry for the guests living with that noise. Just not impressed. Won't be back.

It's an okay place to stay, though peculiarly located on the Cool Springs Mall property, which requires you drive around a vast and empty parking complex to come or go from the hotel at night. It's a little creepy and unnerving. Couple this with the fact that there's no night desk agent, or on-site security, and walking from your car to the hotel, fumbling to get electronic keycard to open exterior doors, you end up with a slightly racing heart and heightened level of anxiety. The rooms and furnishings are average, and comfortable. The location is at least a thirty min drive to Nashville, even in light traffic. The location, and minimal amenities, would best suit business travelers with clients in the immediate area and who prefer lower rates to exceptional service.
