Quite plenty of space and food and parking plus the people are very polite.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Infested with cockroaches, bed bugs and lord knows what else.
Bedsheets were dirty and smelt of stale cigarette smoke.
Found one cockroach in a draw, another ran over my foot and the third was in the bedsheets along with someone’s toenail clippings. I’m completely covered in bed bug bites, didn’t even bother staying the night, just packed up my things into the car and left.

Very clean and has lots of amenities, 4 stars for me.

Clean, quiet, and inexpensive. A good place to crash on the road.

Non smoking room smelled like an ashtray. Had to give a cash deposit for incidentals but was made to wait outside of the locked office to wait for the only clerk to check that our room was fine. The room was obviously not cleaned well at all before our visit either. Very little amenities. No coffee maker in rooms. But you get what you pay for.

The Staff is awesome if you give RESPECT they give it right back to you! When idiots are going to be idiots it changes they still work to make sure guest are Happy. Been here for awhile and met every front desk person. We love them. No complaints on our side.

Under staffed. Poorly maintained. Another one of many older motor lodges that you can tell was nice at one time, but that time has passed. Quite a few really good motels one mile west on I-40 with a lot better food options.

Great for the price. We just needed a place to stay for the night, and this place is great for that purpose. This place is within walking distance to a subway, and not that far away from Walmart. The AC is blowing very cold air.

Found a roach in our room and wasn’t even able to get a discount.

Room is adequate for the price. Don't expect a pool even if the website says it has one there is very little water it is all green and the gate is locked to go in. I am here for 10 days and was given a room on the bottom floor, there are at least 20 rooms being used by construction workers of some sort that are above me and on both sides of me. They awake at 4 a. M. And start getting ready and between 4:30 and 5 a. M. Between starting their trucks hollering at each other and playing the radio loud in their trucks it is impossible to sleep. I don't need to be at work until 10 a. M. So I have a lot of lost time. When I arrive in the evenings around 7 p. M. The parking lot is full they're eating their meals in the parking lot and even cooking on the back of their pickup trucks. So before checking in I would make sure That you have a place away from where they have long-term construction workers staying.

I tried to check in early to this hotel, as I do not like checking in extremely late at night. I have a job where I get off late at night, and it just makes it harder at night to check in. So when I arrived 15 minutes to 11 the guy said that I would be charged for early check-in. I said forget it and walked out. I travel about 8 months out of the year and never have I ever had this happen before. Now when I went next door to get some food while at the Subway I am notified through a text that the hotel checked me in. I went back to ask for my room and the guy said it would be charged when I told him that he has already checked again and I can have my room now he refused to do it. When I finally did check in late at night they were mean rude and hateful to me. The room was small outdated and snunk like poo. All I can say is if you are deciding about staying here or staying in your car, pick your car!

For cheap and quick room to sleep it the best around great quality and they are there to help.

This did not happened to me but I saw it today 5/25/18 on Facebook and someone posted this: (just letting people know) If anyone is thinking about staying here because they're cheap, just don't. I woke up this morning with my eye swollen shut, hives, and everything was so itchy! Turns out, they have bed bugs! They were nice about moving me to another room but the fact is that they're infested. My children weren't bitten mysteriously but I was and I just got back from the hospital after an allergic reaction to the bed bugs.

Oh boy do in have a story for you, so BUCKLE UP KIDDOS! So, as a preface, I have been working for a company that pays for me to hotel hop. I get FREE housing with my company, and this hotel was such an abomination before the Lord that I dug into my already very shallow bank account to spend the night somewhere away from this nightmare scape. First thing I saw was review talking about HYPODERMIC NEEDLES LYING IN THE PARKING LOT. Yes. People are shooting up in the freaking parking lot. Next thing I read was about bed bugs and cockroaches. Now, when I first walk into my room, I see dead stink bugs strewn across my carpet and a mysterious stain in my bathtub. When I go back outside what do I see but the police shaking down a prostitute and her patron only five rooms down from myself. Turns out the police regularly patrol the place because it's a cesspit of scum and villainry. At that point, paired with one of my coworkers discovering an interesting red stain on his wall, I could no longer subject myself to the unending torment that was this firey post-taco bell anus. If you want to stay somewhere better, go to a trap house or a chipotle dumpster because those places are probably much nicer. We decided to stay at the Cookeville Clarion, and this is what it feels like to be ripped from the depths of Hades and accepted into heaven.

This place deserves only one star because it was the cheepest weekly rental we could find. This place is awful. There isnt any real housekeeping and the rooms show it. You are responsible to clean your room completely (vacuum&change bedding) before leaving or they charge you $50. There is an almost constant police presence, right along side of a constant drug presence. Do what I should of and go to another hotel.

Two queen bed room for 52 bucks. Motel 6 quality. Pillow top mattresses. Very nice tile shower. Very pleasant people working there. Breakfast is scrambled eggs, eggo waffles, cereal, toast etc. We will stay here in the future. No problems. Saw the local cop drive around the hotel patrolling when we were checking in. Quiet area, quiet hotel. One exit west to main drag, restaurants etc.

Weekly rates are out of this world for the poor condition of the rooms. Dirty walls, dirty bathrooms, peeling walls and yes let's not for get the occasional roach. Towels that are given are all riped or has holes in them. The pool has peeling sides and of course no water in it. Doesn't look like there's been water in it for sometime from the looks of the weeds that are over grown around it. I also even found a hypodermic syringe in the parking lot. Check out the photos because I will be adding them. I do product and business reviews and I have to say this place should be closed down. It's horrible!

Not that good, but cheapest in the area. Website says free hot and continental breakfast. Saw dry cereal and nothing else at 9 am. Not even coffee. Bed was ok, pillows ok. Lots of hair on furniture. Tiny towels. Housekeeping comes at 0900 even though checkout is at 11. The older man who works desk is not friendly, although the young man and the housekeeping staff were nice. There is a Subway next door and a truckstop with surprisingly good brisket and pulled pork next to the Subway. I must assume there is alot of illegal activity there because the police were there frequently. Wi-Fi is useless for anything other than light surfing. Streaming was not possible. TV was so old and pic quality so bad that sports were torture to watch. Again, cheapest place in town and it was almost clean aside from the hair all over…

This is one of those places that the rooms are more commonly rented on a weekly or monthly basis. With that in mind its not completely unbearable. You do have access to a washer and dryer, and the location is convenient with interest access and Cookeville being a large consumer city.

It's just a cheap motel but the front desk clerk was nice and the non-smoking room was not smelly. Clean enough and quiet. So far, so good.

Its dirty. The walls arent clean. In the bathroom there is a splatter of silver spray paint. Someone was huffin paint. The room stunk like cigg. The carpet is nasty. The bathroom floor was wet at 1am in the morning. The furniture is broke down. The beds are wrinkled and half made. I will NOT tell anyone I stayed here.

Not as nice. Very comfortable bed.

Rented a over priced room there a few months ago and couldn't even sleep due to watching all the cockroaches crawling up the walls and a bunch of kids partying upstairs all night. Then had to wait 30 mins to check out because the Indian guy had to walk to the room and inspect it before we could be reimbursed our 10.00 deposit back. Never again!

This place is horrible bed bugs at the finest. I would not recommend it. Its a ran down hotel.

Tv power button worked. Couldn’t change channel or volume with remote. Side of bed next to window had metal sticking out (very dangerous). Blood stains on sheet. Check in we had to stand outside. Upon returning to vehicle the guy working front desk allowed others inside. Very displeased. Will not return or recommend.

Horrible place! Charged $10 more for paying with cash. Mattresses were disgusting. Bathroom from an abandoned house… Just terrible. Luckily I only needed a few hours sleep to continue driving. Used my own pillow and sleeping bag.

My wife and I paid $250 for a week with a $50 deposit and if we had another option of somewhere to go we would take it in a heart beat. There are dead cock roaches in the fridgerator and we can't set our drinks down without a lid due to all the live bugs crawling everywhere. When we said something to management we were told they spray for bugs every 2 weeks. Also we were kept up almost all night by what sounded like drunks outside our door on the balcony hollering and banging on our door. We would have called the front desk to complain but there are no phones in the rooms. Plus they advertise a swimming pool but the only swimming pool around looks like it hasn't been used or cleaned in 6 years. I do not recommend Fall Creek Inn to my worse enemy.

We will never stay at this place again! The room was a mess! We found broken needles (rigs) … in the floor and it was just a f… ing mess! I wish there was an option for a half star cause that is all I would give! It wasn't even time to check out yet it was about 945 a. M. And the cleaning people didn't even knock just came right in, it was about 30 min. Later they came back rushing us out we still had plenty of time till check out. The cleaners are just plain rude.

Terrible. Walked in and as always checked out the room. Nasty. Pulled the blanket back to check for bugs. Sheets look gross. Walk to bathroom. Roach. Walk right back out. Ask for refund. Attending office personal told us that since we pulled the sheet away from being tucked in that we used the bed and we couldn't get a full refund as now the room was considered used and he can't rent it to another person tonight. Didn't care about the roach. Did not get a full refund.

Place is horrible. There were roaches in my room and friend stayed in the other room and she had bed bugs in hers. There was also mold in my shower on the ceiling. Floors were nasty and I looked under the bed and there were still little stuff under them from pass customers. The old man is really rude, charged me because there was a missing towel and we did not even use their towels, and he acts like he does not want to be there. He also tried to charge my friend for a hole in the wall when it was there when they got the room. Friend fought it and caught him on the scam. The younger man is really nice and very accommodating. He helped us a lot. If you go, go during the late afternoon/night while he is there. The showers have really good pressure and is hot.

This place is so nasty! They over charge you. Give you nasty u healthy rooms and when you want your money to go to somewhere else he will refuse to give it to you! So many people evacuating from hurricane Irma gets here and gets this terrible treat me. False advertisement. Has thing on their site of what you should expect and when you get here it's totally different. Rat poop, roaches and black mode. Unsanitary things on your sheets. Rips and tears in the blanket. Disgusting thing on the toilet seat… no thank you!. Save yourself the hassle, the headache and the money! Go somewhere else. If I could rate lower I would!

Do not stay here! Half of their rooms are renovated and the other half are falling apart. I wanted a non-smoking room, but they put us in a room that reeked of smoke. There was a dent in the bathroom door and the faucet was coming off the tile. If you go to Cookeville stay anywhere else and if you can't book a room elsewhere sleep in your car!

Bugs everywhere! First fleas in the bed, then a roach trying to get my soda on the night stand… So I asked for my money back, but apparently 42 minutes had passed and their policy only allows 30 minutes for you to let them know of any problems with the room. So I took another room since he refused to refund my money and this room has a huge wet spot right where I step out of bed, which reeks of beer. Then the remote didn't have batteries, so I had to call back to the office to get some… And after he left, it will not work? PLUS, THE SIGN ON THE HIGHWAY SHOWS $34.95 ALL ROOMS, but the clerk told me $39.99 plus $10 pet fee plus tax… $60! A far cry from the advertised price. And, it's a dump. And, the pool is closed for…?

This is the Bates hotel, dirty… We'll never stay there again.

Ugly! The non smoking room smells like a ash bucket. Dirt everywhere! Dog poo and foot nails behind the bedside cabinet as well as dead crawlies. No choke! There is a door between room 134 and 136. You can open this door… creepy. I wish I had sleeped in my car and saved the money. I have seen a lot of cheap motels on my road trip but this one is the worst one. Save your money and dont go there.

Like most places, check out time is 11am. Do t come beating on the door and calling the room 10 minutes til 11 reminding me what time it is. Second, deposit for staying? Since when does any hotel need to charge deposit fee if you don't smoke and have no pets with you? Third, used rolls of toilet paper instead replacing them with new? Fourth, used bar of soap in the shower, like really? Was this room just spot checked or what? Fifth, toilet did not flush normal. Had to hold handle down several seconds for it to flush. Sixth, TV was older than I am. I can't remember the last time I saw a "boob tube " style zenith tv. Seventh, fee for paying for room with credit or debit card. Eighth, signs in lobby requesting you don't take your complimentary breakfast back to your room. The plus side is the staff were relatively nice. Rooms need to upgraded though without a doubt.

This was our first stay at this property. We were not disappointed. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful. Was obvious that they were a team, not merely employees. Nice! Bonus was a hot breakfast in the morning.

Fridge wasn't cold. The sink hand towel was a box of cheap tissues. The blankets had holes in them. The beds were itchy. The room had no ashtray. The light fixtures was all broke in some form. At least the a. C. Worked. Fall creek inn, near Sparta, Tennessee. Horrid. 2/5 which is a generous rating.

The pool has been out of order all summer. The service is poor and employees are rude. Rooms are pretty run down. A plus for some is there's a lot of drug activity. Lol. All in all, the only thing I've been happy with is the price. I guess you get what you pay for.

I would give this place a zero if I could! The staff here can not comprehend English to start, second the staff is the biggest pain in the ass when u ask for another towel when u have 2 queen bed ment for four people but only give each room 3 towels, third the staff steals your belongings! We stayed at this establishment for 3 nights and could not take it anymore so we moved hotels after we had arty payed because when we left during the day and the cleaning staff came in our belongings had been gone thought and items like headphones, go — pro cameras and meds had been taken! I know the price is cheap but by all means avoid this hotel!

Terrible. The receptionist continually flirted with me despite me being engaged and him married. He started flirting with me soon as I walked in, asking if I had a boyfriend or if I'm staying alone. I suspct he intentionally made my card not work seeing as he appeared nervous when I went back to get it fixed, with his father standing next to him. Then he continually called me on the phone and sounded flirty when I answered. He asked me to the office and again tried to flirt with me. Worst experience ever. Any females who plan to stay by themselves I would recommend a different hotel.

OK for a one night stay. Free small breakfast, mini fridge, TV. Definitely could be cleaner, I found hair in my bed and on the bathroom floor.

If ratty outdated fire trap rooms are your thing then you're in luck. Worst 50 bucks I've ever spent.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Extremely rude staff. Pounded on the door every morning at 7 am. Locked us out of our room almost every day to make us pay more fees. Booked on priceline and had to pay an additional 100+ dollars. Dirty rooms with mold covering and entire wall. Would not give a refund! horrible place! go anywhere else!

Clean simple room to lay your head for the evening.
