We were very impressed with our stay here. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Our king bed was amazing — the pillows and sheets were so clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a shower with nice glass doors and even had a night light! We thought that was a great touch. The hotel overall was very clean with friendly staff. We'd hoped to get up in time for breakfast, but we were so tired from the hike to Cummins Falls the day before, we didn't make it. Coffee and cookies were available anytime. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice clean rooms. Wifi good. Staff was very helpfull and courteous.

At check-in, was told that the system was down. Then, was told the room I reserved (2 queen beds and a pull out couch) was not available. Asked for a refund, but said they cant without a 48 hour notice. Then asked for a discount since I was now going to have to go buy an air mattress, but couldn't because the system was down. Our key cards lost their coding twice causing us to be locked out twice. However, the front desk gave me a $20 Chili's gift card. Breakfast was nice and everything was clean.

This place was AMAZING! Super clean, great breakfast, and the staff were super friendly. We stay in Hampton Inns often and this is one of the best.

I've never been to this inn in particular, but I can say with certainty that I won't ever be going there or reccomending it. I'm a shift lead at a local store and two of the employees from Hampton Inn came in to shop with their uniforms on. The one was very nice, but the other dropped things on the floor and, literally, kicked them out of her way. I watched her do so. It was very disrespectful to my store. If you're going to be rude and disrespectful at another store, I'd suggest not wearing your work attire, because that just looks bad on you and your business.

The hotel has very clean and comfortable rooms. Also, the employees are friendly.

Very clean hotel. My room and all common areas looks very nice and I perceive a clean aroma! Feels good. Business center has works for me. I liked the decoration.

Fabulous hotel. Extremely clean. We stay at Hampton Inns quite a bit. This is a very good one!

Stay at Hamptons for a consistent good experience. This one was not up to par with others. My room would not cool and had someone check on it after I checked in. The host had no luck and didn’t offer a solution. It appeared the thermostat was about 10 degrees cooler than the actual temperature so the ac wouldn’t start up. Was a very warm night and had trouble sleeping. I let the host know in the morning at checkout and he seemed not very concerned saying some others have complained about other rooms.

I stay here quite frequently. This time was as smooth as always. I did try a different floor. 314 has this low part of the ceiling. Not a big deal unless you're over 6'1; otherwise you will have to bow to see your face in the mirror. Otherwise, the staff & facility is great!

Great value, nicer than most Hamptons. Room was clean and up to date. Nicely located near the interstate.

Kudos for Melinda at the Front Desk… Talk about an amazing Disney customer service experience at the Cookeville Hampton Inn. As anyone who knows me, it is very clear that the Hampton Inn is my favorite spot to lay my head during my 3-4 days a week of travel for work. Let me share with you a story about an amazing staff person who created a magical moment for me. I rushed to the hotel after work without a reservation determined to see a special coming on TV and when I told her I was a Hilton Honors member, she rolled out the red carpet and treated me with highest level of endearing respect and kindness. She said sir we are sold out of rooms, but let me call our sister hotel and see what's available, they were sold out to but she did not stop there. She called until she found me a room which saved me from the cold and rain going in and out of hotels looking for a room. Once I arrived at my hotel and checked, they did not have the channel on their cable lineup for the t. V. Special, which brought instant sadness. I drove back to the Hampton Inn with my long face of sadness and Miss Melinda said just have a seat in our common area and watch the TV special and I did and she deserves a hug from the team for carrying the customer service torch and being the best Hampton Ambassador I've every met.

Love the Hampton Inn! So clean! Hospitality from the front desk clerk, a young man named Tyler, was wonderful. Very courteous and helpful young man. Will definitely visit again.

Loved my stay. The beds were clean and comfortable. I stay at the Hampton more and more when we travel.

This is a Hampton Inn we won't be coming back to. Simply put, because of the poor construction of the hotel we did not get any sleep. The guests in the room above us took a shower and the drain popped and gurgled in our room all through the night. It was my second time at the hotel, but this was a bad enough experience never to return.

Beautiful hotel. Staff is helpful and friendly. Conference rooms are satisfactory.

The best Hampton inn I have stayed at this year. Super clean and well maintained. The side facing the main road can be noisy.

Recommend to my out of state family. Clean rooms. Will stay again.

It was one of the best Hampton Inns we have stayed at, everyone was helpful and rooms were nive.

David the desk clerk did an amazing job correcting a reservation error. Rooms are nicely appointed, clean and quiet. Comfortable bed with lots of pillows. The only problem was that they had closed down the outdoor pool on Labor Day and we were there with kids for the weekend in September. In such a warm climate I would think the pool would still be open. Seems that it would be better to enclose it and turn it into an indoor pool.

This hotel has been updated. Our room had a nice walk in shower. The bed was comfortable. The refrigerator does not have a freezer compartment. It had a lot of vanity amenities. The staff was friendly.

We usually stay at a Hampton Inn when traveling. This one was especially good. Loved the shower, pillows, clean room, breakfast, cookies at the door… very, very nice.

Room was very clean. Staff was extremely pleasant. Ideal location for us as was along our route as we traveled to Ozone Falls in Sweetwater and was near excellent dinner, lunch and coffee options. Breakfast buffet was good. There was a large crowd and staff seemed to have hard time keeping up with demand. There's not enough seating as we stood waiting for others to finish. Kids enjoyed the pool though wife did have to skim the bugs out before they went in. Didn't seem to have been recently cleaned. Only other knock on it was that the bathroom ventilation didn't seem to work. The room became very steamy very quick. The staff said that it was something that they are working on.

I love Hampton hotels stay in them whenever I can. Todays visit has not been a good one. I arrived to check in at 5pm local time to be told I wasn't able to get two rooms on the same floor because they were not clean yet. Came back at 9 pm did get two rooms on the same floor but then they closed the pool at 9:45. Sign says pool closes at 10. Very dissatisfied with the customer service at this location.

Service was very good and breakfast was surprisingly edible. They have a system called evolve that will only power the room of your room key is inserted. This keeps people from leaving everything on when they leave, pretty neat. Room was clean. However, walls and doors are extremely thin. Ice machine isn't enclosed so you could hear it all night through the door. I stepped out of the elevator and two employees were unloading janitorial products and refused to move so I could exit out the front door and I was forced to go out the back and around the building. Overall, a mediocre experience.

Large room with a comfortable bed. Well equipped exercise facility and decent continental breakfast.

Staff is very attentive. Clean room and bathroom. TV has an extensive channel list. Breakfast also had lots of options.

Extremely pleasant visit. Reception staff were very easy to work with and polite. Rooms we're above average for this price range. Will stay here again and would recommend to others!

Worst service ever. Some girl named loren was working the front desk. Very rude! the place is nasty and full of bugs! they need to fire that blonde asap.

The place is nice and I would stay there again in a minute. The only thing I can think of to share with my fellow females is that when I got to my room there was a grasshopper on the door knob and he would not leave. Even after I threw both flip flops at him. The grasshoppers in Tenn are stubborn. It did however give the guy in the next room the opportunity to do a good deed. Thanks to everyone involved.

It's rare, I'm a diamond member of Hilton, stay in hotels 100+ nights a year. Keep in mind rooms open to the OUTSIDE, like some bad tasting motel, I mean it's OK but not for the price, and you can't really tell from looking at the website unless you look real close. Stay somewhere else if you can.
