This place is the best, and Tracey & Tommy are awesome hosts! If you stay here (and you should), take time to look around for all the cool little details in the decor. I will absolutely stay here again next time I’m in Sumter!

We had the best experience with 1912 B&B. The room was very spacious, the house was gorgeous, the staff was so attentive and thoughtful, the breakfast was amazing. I could go on and on. We had the best time and I can’t wait to visit again!

Lovely grand old home, gracious hosts! Enjoyed sitting on the balcony during sunset. Walked into town for a sidewalk table, delicious cocktails and yummy dinner at Sidebar on Main. Comfy beds, private baths with heated towels. Very pleasant stay. ❤️

I did my bridal boudoir shoot here, in the Romance Room. The setting is absolutely GORGEOUS, the bed was comfortable, the decor was delightful. The owner was incredibly accommodating and very friendly. Looking forward to going back for an actual stay!

Tracy and Tommy were awesome. The room was lovely and the heated floor was a plus. The house itself is beautiful with plenty of antiques without feeling like a museum. Totally recommend for anyone looking for a nice, quiet place to stay.

Hands down the best experience I have ever had! Tracey and her family made us feel so special and so welcome! You will not get this type of customer service at a large hotel chain. I absolutely recommend this bed and breakfast as a wonderful place to stay. The house has so much character and there is something to look at every where you turn. The pictures on line made me fall in love and it’s even more beautiful to see it in person! This is definitely a must see and stay place if you are in the area!

My fiancé and I stay at bed-and-breakfasts quite regularly. We were on our way to East Tennessee and decided to stop for the night at 1912 bed-and-breakfast. We loved the Halloween decor that they had for a start. Furthermore, the furniture and shared areas were wonderful and were in keeping with the historic nature of the property. We loved our room which was amply supplied with a TV and assorted amenities. We spoke to the owners for a bit who were super friendly and gave us recommendations on where to go to eat. The breakfast in the morning offered much to choose from! We had a comfortable stay and if we are ever passing through the area, we would stay here again.

One of the most charming and beautiful bed and breakfast I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. Had friends that were staying there from Galveston, Texas had the opportunity to go and visit with them and get a tour of the house. The owners are the epitome of southern hospitality. Would recommend a stay there, in the future any family or friends coming in to town will be directed to stay there.

The owners have done an amazing job restoring this beautiful historic old home! The smells of coffee and breakfast are luring me downstairs now!

Do not hold back to make sure your stay is perfect, complimentary water and sodas, etc! Our only regret is that we didn’t allot more time to stay put at the house to really enjoy it more!

Had the pleasure of staying here for one night this past weekend as I was passing through SC. Wish I could've stayed the whole weekend. When I tell you Tracey and Tommy treated me like FAMILY. Not to mention they have an absolutely bueatiful home. The rooms are modern but rustic and incredibly clean and comfy. Would reccomend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Sumter. (Can't beat the price either) definitely going to visit again!

Tucked away right off the main street in Sumter, 1912 has great rooms, character and charm, friendly staff and great breakfast. Lots of updated features while remaining true to the original house built in 1912

Absolutely gorgeous historic Bed & Breakfast! Owners Tommy and Tracey McLaughlin are so warm and welcoming. They treated us like family. The homemade breakfast was delicious. We definitely plan on staying here again if back in the area. We love it! Thank you Tommy and Tracey for your hospitality!

My sister and I stayed at the 1912 Bed and Breakfast on the first night of our month long trip around America. We arrived an hour early and extremely sleep deprived… luckily we had stumbled across an amazing place to stay! Tracey and Tommy were so welcoming, we sat and chatted on the porch whilst waiting for a storm to pass. You can tell how much thought has been put into the house — the building and rooms are spectacular! Plus a lovely family style breakfast getting to know the other guests. If we ever pass through Sumter again we will not hesitate to stay here!

I could not believe how beautiful this house was as I pulled up the driveway! The hosts were extremely welcoming and were more than accommodating while we were there. They went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay in the their gorgeous home. The furniture and decor only added to the charm of this historic place as well as the renovations that were made. I cannot wait to return for another visit! This home and it's owner's made me feel very much like a Queen!

My fiance and I stayed here for 2 days last month and it was spectacular. The room and bathroom were beautiful and the house is just extraordinary. Friendly and fun hosts and delicious breakfast! They even showed us around downtown Sumter which was a short walk from the house. All in all — a great stay. Would recommend to anyone wanting a unique B&B experience.
