I had a really great experience. The hotel staff was really helpful and answered all my questions. The hotel is very clean and well kept. My room was clean and the housekeepers were equally as great. They provided breakfast and it was pretty good. Certainly Similar to say an Embassy Suites. The breakfast was. Very tightly regulated with tickets however. Overall a great experience. I plan to stay here again when I return.

Great hotel check in was a breeze. Please note guest check in is located on the upper level so if you park at the entrance you'll need to go up stairs and garage is the ground level. Our room (King bed) was spacious and clean. Property was well maintained nice outdoor pool. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel has a nice curbside appeal and looks fancy if that what you're looking for then it might be a good choice. My stay however was not so pleasant or comfortable. The beds we're very dated and I could feel the springs poking through the a/c vents we're cracked and missing. The bathroom although looked nice smelled of mold and the showers we're hot but not in a good way. You had to turn it almost off to get it to a reasonably tolerable temperature a hair further and it was off. If I ever return to the area I will make sure to stay at the Hampton inn a couple miles down the road it was much nicer with comfortable beds and friendly staff. I spent a whole week there and only one night at the Hilton Garden because we decided last minute to stay another night and the Hampton was out of rooms.

Hilton Garden Hotel is a must stay hotel. The room was very nice and the staff was so pleasant. But the breakfast was Grrreat! They had everything I needed to start my day. The food presentation was put together very well. The waitress had a lovely sense of humor. Her jokes are so funny I did not even see the joke's coming until they hit me with laughter. She was so nice to enjoy so early in the morning. Hilton Garden Hotel she is a keeper and I will be back to enjoy that experience again!

Beautiful lobby, good food but a bit pricey. Location offers quick access to Hilton Head Island & some wonderful places to eat. Pool area show signs of deferred maintenance, beds were hard, pillows uncomfortable. If you like a hard mattress, you will be fine here. Very nice staff, clean facility. Response time to request non-existent. Called front desk because there were no pool towels & 2 hrs. Later still none. Had to drip dry.

This is the worst possible Hilton ive ever had to try to find. Extremely poor signage. Spent 45 minutes driving up and down the main road to locate this Hilton. Never again! The lift for the handicap inside the main has been broken for 2 months. Food was cooked to order. That was the highlight of my stay.

This hotel get one star due to these little creepy crawlers. Was in town for a conference and was in the bed working when boom I see something crawling, as I turned on the room light there were more of these things coming from who know where. They were all in the bathroom and as I looked harder all on the spare blanket. I informed the manger which she was very accommodating and sympathetic and since it was really late moved me to a different floor and said that due to the construction and rain they maybe coming from the roof *yuck*. Now I have to fumigate all of my belongings to make sure that I don’t bring them back to my house. If you stay just be aware there might be another guest with you *grabs the bug spray.

Beautiful, clean hotel. Extremely great staff. We stay here all the time!

I did not have the best stay during my visit, but I will say that I am sincerely grateful for management going over and beyond to try and turn wrong into right. For that I am grateful. Thank you.

Great staff accommodated are stay very well, housekeeping awesome job. Convenient to everything and easy parking on property thumbs up to front desk crew, Alison, Greg, and Craig… will definitely come back!

Not up to the usual standards of a HGI by any means. The maintenance here isn't anywhere near up to par. Broken places in the tub surround. Caulking that is cracked, separated and falling apart. Tub drain that took about 45 mins to drain from a single shower. Toilet that you had to hold the handle and sometimes jiggle to get to flush. Nope… this was more the standard of a 40 year old Days Inn… not HGI. To top it off, we were coming in last night and witnesses some kind of an argument between what I assume was the kitchen manager and the front desk clerk. She was VERY loud and shouting at him from the dining room area. Highly unprofessional. This was more on par with a Knights Inn or Day's Inn. Certainly not worth the $170 premium price tag they had on these rooms.

The staff was very helpful and thoughtful they left no stone unturned. The chef and cook's were awesome food was so tasty and good thank you very much.

Staff nice but check in and check out sooooooooo slow. Staff could not explain certain charges on bill and we are still trying to get answers. Slowest elevator on planet earth. Noisy doors slamming throughout nite. Would not return to this Hilton. 11.95 for a plain ole breakfast. Just unacceptable.

Just over the bridge from Hilton Head Island. Close to everything especially the outlets malls. Well kept, good staff, totally a solid Hilton Garden offering.

One of the best Hilton's we have stayed at. Breakfast was great. The staff was friendly and very helpful, especially in finding great places to eat. Definitely recommend a stay.

Did not have a good stay. Front desk employee was sarcastically rude and uncaring. My simple questions seemed to be a nuance. The complimentary water bottles were just plopped up on the desk as a routine. When asked why my card was charged 3x well before arriving… I was told this was normal, and the charges were just “holds. ” She relayed that they run your card to see if there is any money on it. I’ve never had my card run 3 times even before checking in. I felt targeted because the charges came right after a telephone conversation I had with the rude front desk girl concerning my arrival. Instead of being treated like a guest I was treated like an unwelcomed stranger. This stay was disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The room was decent, but when taking a shower, the tub had what looked like dirt stains, and the water floated around the tub instead of draining. Towels, wash cloths & bed sheets were rough. The parking garage elevator was stressful to work with the digital key. It took forever to access it, and for it to come down. That’s no fun when you have an armful of belongings.

A great hotel. Farther from HHI and the beaches than we anticipated, but it's affordable and topnotch.

This hotel is going under a reconstruction at the time. The staff is great, but it's got some pain points while this is going on. Housekeeping comes way late in the afternoon/ early evening, the elevator is ungodly slow and the fitness room is in need of some love. Would like to try to stay again after these are resolved.

Hotel is going thru a remodel but my room had been renovated. Staff was friendly and helpful. No issues during stay.

Just a special thanks to Sky at the front desk for his help and assistance during the stressful Thanksgiving travel time. The traffic was awful that Wednesday night but Sky's helpfulness gave me assurance that our room was ready to go when though we got in very late. Will definitely be staying here again and kudos to the staff for making stressful travel easier.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times for business when rates are cheaper than in Savannah. Wanted to give 3.5 stars but not able to. I am giving them four stars based on the following deductions: 1. Adjustable bed really does adjust 2. If you enter through front entrance you are taking bags up stairs unless you use handicap lift. Then you need to have room key to operate garage elevator. 3. Bathrooms need update/up keep 4. You can’t turn TV to view properly at desk in room. 5. Outlets are to loose for Apple chargers. This is a common issue I encounter at Hotels though. Positives though it’s close to outlets and decent dining and quick access to island without paying Island rate.

Very nice hotel with clean rooms. They have breakfast but it is 11.95 per person and not complimentary. They have free Wi-Fi but for only basic functions like surfing. They have a snack bar that you can purchase food and beverage fromy after hours. It's very convenient to Hilton Head. My wife and I would stay again.

Incredible beds, pillows and TV selections, excellent breakfast with very considerate staff, good parking, nice location. Slow elevator my only logical complaint. I would stay again.

Hotel is nice and clean. But it was the staff that made it amazing, they had 8 people running a hotel that usually has over 100 staff due to hurricane evacuations and they were living there doing all they could to keep they hotel running. Great job guys!

Had to request new room after first night. A/C didn't work, toilet didn't flush, board fell right off of cabinet, shower had visible damage. Room key required to use elevator from parking garage on ground floor — card reader wouldn't read room key! They did change our room. Bumped into other couple that also had to change rooms because of damage to their shower. Nice people working at hotel, but not nice rooms!

Don't stay here! I don't normally write reviews but this experience was awful. Room 228 AC very loud (squeals and rattles), sink and shower don't drain well — standing in ankle deep water during our shower, adjustable bed is quirky and sags in the middle until you adjust it (no instructions provided — ask the desk), breakfast area needs help, and fitness center needs treadmill maintenance. The pool and deck area are nice. Nice parking garage under the building. I like Hilton but would not recommend this location.

Nice hotel, nothing fancy. Service was good. Parking locations weren't so great, we had to make our own spot outside the parking areas like some others did.

You need a car for everything… there is for you to do in walking distance. Hell the ride from the airport was 50 dollars… the rooms are just like any other hotel. Hell you have to walk through a garage to get to the pool. Well for me I wouldn't come back here. I was told that I was staying in at the actual resort but they put me here. The actual resort is where everything is.

I usually LOVE the Garden Inns, but this one is awful. I am a honors member and have never had such a disappointing experience. If not booking with points for 4 days we would have left after the first. The king bed they gave us was broken, thankfully we were able to switch rooms but then the other bed was broken as well. Very far from beach and staff was very loud and routy in breakfast. On the second day of being here a boy who was special needs came down for breakfast on his own. After taking something from the purchase bar employees chased him around the lobby and one employee was grabbing his arm and physically trying to control him. Thankfully his family came down and took control of the hand, but after he left the same employee was complaining VERY loudly and mocking the guest (as I was at a few tables over) how she was having to play basketball with him. I am shocked. I will be NOT be recommending this hotel to ANYONE.

I've stayed here several times for business travel to the area. It's a solid 3-Star hotel. The rooms are a bit dated, but comfortable. However it's quiet, in a great location.

My husband and I had an absolutely Amazing Anniversary weekend there last weekend! Everyone was so kind and courteous, the room was amazing my husband asked someone to decorated our room for our Anniversary I couldn't help crying. I'm still trying to find out how to purchase those sleep system mattresses with the dial comfort THE BEST MATRESSES I'VE EVER SLEPT ON… NO LIE! We will be back this summer with the family! Thanks for everything!

Awful service! Fire alarm went off during our stay and the they treated us awful due to them confusing us with someone else. Staff called in the room and were incredibly rude. Never plan on staying at another garden inns again. Plus trying to get to this hotel was horrid. You need to some how tell your customers about the back way into this hotel.

Great rooms, good value, great location. The only drawback is no breakfast included.

I reserved 4 rooms for 4 couples and 4 couples stayed and paid for the 4 rooms, and this hotel charged me personally for a room I didn't even stay in and they refuse to credit me back. That's bad business…

Hotel is really nice, only a few restaurants nearby. TANGER OUTLET within reasonable walking.

Hilton Garden is always my choice on where to stay. They always make sure my family and I are completely taken care of.

Not the best location but adjacent to HHI. Huge room. Clean. Friendly. Cute outdoor pool. Loud hvac.

We only stayed one night. The beds could use a bit of work, but otherwise it was satisfactory.

Spent Friday and Saturday night at the Hilton Garden Inn — No complaints about the hotel itself. However, I have not been charged a third time for my stay. Have called and I am having to provide proof of my payments and the charges they made. Apparently, they aren't seeing any of it. I have yet to be told that they are sorry or that they see where they've made an error.

Older property needs updating. Beds are OK. Pillows no good. My room has flickering light that would not stay on.

Great for business travelers. Clean. Beds are good. Staff is friendly, especially the Jamaican kid who works breakfast service in the lobby… which has great seating. Request not to get a room across from the conference rooms, if you intend to sleep in. Biggest challenge is crossing the highway when driving from eastbound. There's no stoplight, so you gotta be aggressive to make the left turn across the highway. And there's no pedestrian crosswalk, so you'll need your car to get to the shops across the street. I'm a good driver, so was easy for me. But I'd hate to see my grandparents trying to navigate the highway crossing. Tiny but adequate fitness room. No weights, but there's a Precor. 2 treadmills, 1 elliptical. Pool. Hot tub. Business center. Laundry room. Immediate dining options are limited. Visit restaurant Neo, which is a few adjacent parking lots to the west. You don't have to cross the highway to get there and back.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. It is not a 3 star location as posted on the internet. We started out by being doubled billed for our stay at check-in. Once we reached the room there was nothing nice about it. We ate dinner in the restaurant downstairs in the lobby and the food was awful. I feel misinformed by Hilton and I would not stay are again.

Wasn't quite up to the Hilton standard. But was nice, like an average hotel. Room as clean and staff was friendly, just not an over the top experience like most Hiltons. Room cleaning should have contact with front desk that way they are not knocking on your door at 8am when you just got to the hotel at 2am. If people are checking out that day wait till they check out before trying to clean the room.

Got bed bugs 9/5/14. Still itching a few after sanitizing everything and other than that it was a nice hotel and great breakfast.

I understand the hotel was renovated in 2009, but they still have a long way to go. The room was a nice size, but definitely not up to Hilton standards. There was mold in the shower, the beds and sheets were dirty. On our first day, we notified the front desk that our phone in the room didn't work. We never did get a replacement. Housekeeping didn't come around until about 3:30 pm. The food and patio area were nice. The breakfast wait staff was borderline rude. It's a buffet but there are some items you have to order. Simple items like bacon, however, I feel should have been on the buffet. Not to mention, I asked for pancakes and was told there were some at the buffet. They were hard as a rock. When I asked for a fresh batch, I was thrown an evil look. Since you had to pay for breakfast, I want to ensure that I get something that I enjoy. The front desk staff and the evening waiter were very friendly which made the stay most enjoyable. Definitely not worth the money spent.

Room and bathroom were dirty. Dirty linen, dirty bathroom walls, dirty walls with hand prints in the sleeping area. Second day of stay, carpets were cleaned leaving the carpeting extremely wet. We were notified of this only an hour before they commenced cleaning. Not acceptable and definitely not Hilton standards.

Very nice room. Fairly poor room service.
