The worst experience of any hotel I’ve ever had! Carissa who was working the desk is hands down the rudest most unprofessional person I have ever encountered. She was rude from the moment I TRIED to check in. My reservation was pre-paid on hotels. Com. She was to lazy to investigate this information. After 45 minutes on hold work hotels. Com and her being rude and nasty to me the entire time, she asks me to step outside where she precede to tell me the mistake was her company. Zero apology, zero. She said she would “comp” my room. My room was already paid for so she wasn’t “comping” anything. She proceeded to return to the desk and I finished my call with hotels. Com. As I approached the desk she PURPOSELY started to wait on another customer who was checking in 26 people! She made it a point to be as slow as humanly possible. I finally had enough and asked “how long did she think I was going to wait for a resolution? ” She replied “I told you outside what was happening, now you’ll just have to wait. ” I called the corporate office for Quality Inn. While I was on the phone, she located my credit and on file and CHARGED my card $139.04 for a hold for the room. That was $40 more than I paid for the room already! So now I’m charged twice and it’s over an hour of trying to get s room. While on the phone another patron came up to me and said I was 100 percent correct.

Free breakfast. Pool on property. Rooms are dated but clean. Direct TV didn't work during rain storms. Lots of construction workers stay here to go to work. Close to Savannah, GA & Hilton Head Island, SC.

Very friendly and helpful staff!

Drove into the parking lot and considered staying here as I've stayed in this hotel in other states. It looked a bit dated from the outside. Rooms are on the outside; I am not thrilled about these types anymore. Did not even get out of the car. Heard several people arguing (this was between 6:30 p. M. — 7:30 p. M. ) Just did not get a warm fuzzy, so left. Felt this way about several hotels in this particular location (Days Inn, Red Roof). I drove up the interstate about 2 more exits and felt much safer — — checked into the Holiday Inn Express on Independence. Sorry Quality Inn; maybe it was just the locale.

We had a great stay here. The manager, Keyur Patel, was a wonderful host. He made sure your breakfast was satisfactory, the room was clean and comfortable. The pool was an added bonus, clean and relaxing. I must say this was one of the best Quality Inns on the 95 corridor. Also, quite easy access to the highway. Thank you to the staff for a great job!

For a two star rating I was very pleased. We actually came from a 4 star so we were expecting to be very disappointed but we weren't. Just a one night stay to help us with driving. The beds were comfy, the rooms were clean. The free breakfast was a typical continental including higher quality items for butter, coffee, etc. I'd stay here again.

Kevin at the front desk was very helpful and nice. We walked into the office to get rooms for our family of 6 and he was very busy with about 8 people in line looking to check in and still remained very helpful and pleasant. The room we got has 2 rooms and it is very clean and fresh looking… not dull and dreary like you would expect for it being inexpensive. The pool is nice and clean and refreshing. I would come back. Looking forward to breakfast which is also included :)

No. No. No. Don't stay here. Bait and switch. Lied to me at check in. Room was Ok. People in other rooms were smoking pot. We could smell it. Stay somewhere else.

The entire experience was delightful. From check in to check out. The room was clean & inviting. Breakfast was hot & delicious. The staff was super nice. Kevin saw us off to the next trek of our trip, so friendly. Thank you, we will be back!

We've stayed there twice now, and both times have been great. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is pretty good (for a free hotel breakfast) and the rooms are always clean. It's a great location, and if you book in advance, the price is great.

I have booked here based on reviews. Rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. There were good options for breakfast. Management want to improve the service and looks like trying their best to do it. Its convenient place to stay when you want to visit Hilton head and savanna area. Reasonable price as well.

Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet, kept full and appetizing. The staff is there to make you comfortable and they do.

Good budget choice. Friendly staff probably family run. Clean rooms. Good shower heads. We got in very late and we're only there through breakfast. Near I 95. Could be noisy from traffic but that is what you get for picking something right off the interstate. Great if you are traveling and just need a quick stop. Decent breakfast bar.

The rooms very bad.

The room rate was good, add in the free breakfast and you can't beat the value. The room was also clean and comfortable. I'd rate it as a 3.5 star hotel, don't remember the actual rating. The 5 stars here is based on the value and cleanliness.

We had a great stay. When we checked in Terra was so kind. I needed to print documents for my business and she offered to print them for me if I emailed them to her. At check out Barbie was a doll a real sweetheart made sure we had fresh coffee and plenty of waffle batter.

A great morning! The breakfast attendants actually attended to our needs and kept fresh food out and tables cleaned. Kevin was a wonderful host. He let us know the traffic report and weather. Walked from table to table with bacon and checking we all had what we needed. And best of all he was grateful for our business and expressed his appreciation. We all work hard for our vacations and it’s nice to feel welcome! We will be back for sure!

We received a free upgrade to a suite, which was awesome! The new redesign looked great and the beds were very comfortable. The continental breakfast was good as well. I'm giving my score based off the fact that when we checked in, the toilet was not clean. It had dried urine on the toilet seat and underneath as well. This was a huge disappointment.

Rooms have been updated some and were clean. The breakfast was the usual fair with no selections for people with dietary restrictions. The heat was not very warm, running all night and water dripped all night in tub. Didn't try to shower because water and air to cool. We believe there is new/different management. Have stayed here numerous times and it definitely has gone down in quality. There was a restaurant to be added at our last visit and we were greatly disappointed that it was not there at all, same breakfast area in need of updatin. Don't plan to stop again.

Has everything expected from a 2.5 star hotel, bed and pillows and A/C was good. Breakfast was decent, pastries could be better, wish breakfast was connected to the room indoors. Would give it 4.5 stars.

We called to check availability and the guy was really busy. When I asked him to hold a room for us he said okay in a rush and only took my name. When we arrived 20 minutes later, there was a line of people waiting. He said if you didn’t have reservations, he didn’t have rooms. My heart sank. I gave him my name and he said, “Yes” and got me a key. He was so kind and calm even with being so busy and it being so late. The room was very clean and exactly what was pictured online. When we went for breakfast we were greated by Kevin who called us family. He kept things moving by keeping a waffle in the maker so there wouldn’t be a wait for them and he visited each table talking and offering delicious bacon and seeing if anyone needed anything else. The breakfast was hot, there was a nice variety and it was well stocked. It wasn’t the nicest hotel we stayed in on our trip but they by far made up for anything they were lacking with customer service, cleanliness and kindness. We had the best night sleep there that we had had all week. Oh, the kind person to check us in around 9:30pm was still at the desk to check us out at 9am. He was just as kind and cheerful with no sleep. Must be a family operated place. Those people worked it like they owned it. I would definitely stay there again.

One of the friendliest staff ever! Rooms are renovated and extremely clean. Obvious pride taken in the ownership. Excellent breakfast; Kevin went above and beyond to cater to every guest at the buffet. Great value too. Stay here and you will be pleased!

Highly recommend this place! Far better then you would expect from a "budget" hotel/ motel… very clean! Plenty of fresh towels in the rooms, bathroom and room itself were spotless and well maintained. Excellent, efficient, and friendly personnel/ employees! Sean (night guy) and Kevin (morning person) were very helpful… and cleaning people were super friendly and helpful. Had a family atmosphere… Breakfast was free and yummy… it included eggs, sausage, biscuits n gravy, waffles, pastries, and many other continental style breakfast items. Overall, would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

So impressed with this hotel. When I first walked in a very friendly gentleman greeted me and the smell of warm cookies made it so inviting. Our room was so modern nice and clean. The breakfast was very good. The gentleman took great care of us at breakfast. We will definitely be back. Such a friendly nice place to stay.

Very nice hotel. Room was clean and looks recently remodeled. Furniture adequate, comfortable bed, decent breakfast. Staff very helpful and friendly. One of the managers, Kevin, goes out of his way to make your stay very nice. Will definitely be back.

Clean, comfortable rooms and grounds, family friendly and very attentive and professional staff. Beds and pillows are fantastic. The pool was very clean and the grounds were well maintained. We have been here many times over the years and this property continues to improve. Free hot breakfast, juices, yogurt, cereals, breads and muffins and in their movement to becoming more environmentally conscious, they have even eliminated the use of styrofoam plates from their dining area. *** A big plus — we stayed here as our base for the viewing of the 2017 solar eclipse and no price gouging or bumped bookings. Very reputable. Kevin, the general manager, made daily morning rounds in the dining room to ensure all the guests were comfortable and to personally attend to any needs that they required. Very nice touch. Overall, an excellent value for the money and highly recommended for families or just anyone who wants a very comfortable and quiet place to stay on their road trips.

We were in town for a ball tournament and stayed here because this is where family was staying. The 1st night, the clerk was extremely nice and let us check in early. The room could really use some updating. However I woke up the next morning with bites on my face and arms. I immediately started searching the bed and yep… Before Bugs! I took one to the front desk and showed them. She said she would have to call her manager to see what to do. So they credited us for the night on wanted to move us to a different hotel. That would have been great if we weren't in the middle of nowhere! So they gave us a different room. Then stated on Fridays they have a company that comes in and takes care of these things! Thank Goodness it was only 2 nights!

Checked in very late, I should have known based on the upkeep of the exterior… it wasn't going to get better. The rooms looked good, until I saw a roach on pillow! The bathroom had constant run, in bathtub and the tile on floor was nasty. The icing on the cake was when I stopped for coffee, a roach was crawling in breakfast area. I guess since it's near a truck stop, they get business regardless because of convenience. … This is one of the worst, QIS I've ever stayed at… a definite not by choice, I'd it wasn't so late, I would have tried another hotel, in the area.

They did the classic bait & switch with the traveler coupon from the rest area. The coupon said $55 room but when we showed the coupon to the front desk they said all those rooms were "sold out"! We paid $110 with AAA discount and it was supposed to be a king bed and it was a queen. Tub was nasty, microwave and frig were unplugged and the AC was off! Do not stay here!

Very rude! Didn't tell us about the free breakfast or that the pool was locked. I went to the office to ask if the pool was closed and the lady was very rude! The breakfast was gone and the lady didn't refill nothing.

Check-in was fast and friendly. Room was exactly what I expected. Air-conditioning was noisy but highly efficient. Pool was clean and a perfect temperature.

Very disappointed. The room wasn't the best, and we were specifically looking for a cheap hotel with a POOL. Now don't get me wrong, there was a pool. What was wrong with it? IT WAS GREEN! AND THEY WERE TRYING TO FIX IT AND STILL ADVERTISING THEY HAD A POOL ON THEIR SIGN! We called Choice Hotels and they basically just said "sorry" and that was it. We asked the lady at the desk if she was aware of the pool and that they were still advertising it and she said "Yeah" and began walking away. We just got a refund and took our business elsewhere to the Red Roof Inn across the street that was cheaper AND gave us what we were expecting. But as for the Quality Inn, we will never be staying at another one again. Ever.

There was absolutely nothing "Quality" about this Inn. If I could give this zero stars, I would. We stopped after a long day of driving with our 3 kids. We booked the room online and requested non-smoking. Our room reeked of smoke. The room was dirty with either spider webs or lint hanging from the ceiling, there were roaches in the bathroom and we noticed the next morning that it looked like there was even old blood on the inside of the door. The bathtub had a continuous leak and there was even hair in the "wrapped" cups in our room. Had it not been after 11:00 at night, we would have left and moved on to somewhere else. There is no way we will ever stay at this place again and I will definitely think twice before booking another Quality Inn anywhere else as well. We couldn't get out the room fast enough the next morning.

Hotel is old but the rooms are nice enough and clean. Current decor has a more modern vibe. Place has three seperate buildings surrounding a swimming pool. Has one outlet in each lamp on each side of single bed.

This has got to be the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. Filthy walls, rotten door jambs on the bathroom doors and VERY questionable patrons coming and going. I would not say the overall environment is a stable one and I am contemplating leaving before the night is over. Not a place to stay with your family.

Let me start off by saying I'm a funny as person when it come to staying at hotels… OCD… this hotel is where I'll stay at every time me and my boo visit… Staff is very friendly… The room was clean, bed comfortable with six pillows… only two flaws… a wash cloth was left on the shower curtain and bathroom is to small but other than that our experience was AWESOME…

We pulled into this hotel at 11 pm with 4 kids and booked a suite for the 6 of us (2 queen beds and a full pull out couch). After getting the kids settled, I went to pull out the couch and realized there were no sheets, pillows or blankets for the sofa and called the main office. After talking to the manager, I was informed there were no sheets available and that we could either stay on the sofa without sheets or leave immediately. We had to wake up the four young boys and put them back in the car. I've never experienced customer service so poor.

Pros: clean room, free parking, ok breakfast. Cons: full beds, not queen I would recommend this place, but not my first choice for a one-night lodging.

Filthy bed skirts and bathroom moved to another room and no better. Obvious furniture change with holes in wall with pencil markings from previous layout. No fresh paint or washed walls, perhaps left over decorating for Halloween. YIkes!

Stayed there for the Memorial day weekend. Here is the short review: 1. Average rooms. Means, the rooms look older, not well lit, restrooms tend to look old. 2. Breakfast room is good and they have a good variety of food. 3. Pool area is ok. 4. The location of the hotel is very good to drive to Hilton head island or Tybee island. 5. During my stay of 2 nights, the Wifi was completely down and the TV reception is extremely bad. Advice would be to upgrade the rooms.

Undergoing renevations. Our room was nice. Not sparkling clean, but not dirty. Breakfast was typical free hotel breakfast and serving area was clean. The staff was super personable. Total overnight was $74 including tax.
