My husband and I choose this place based on reviews and were highly disappointed. A huge roach crawled across my face and woke me up. It was around 3 am I couldn't return to sleep. I was unable to contact management but the staff did come and spray and close a huge gap at the bottom of the door. Housekeeping didn't come when asked. The room was cold and humid so everything felt slimy to walk around or sleep in the bed. It was a last min find as all hotels were booked otherwise I would have never chosen this place. It was renovated and furnishings are nice, large but lack of amenities for price and lack of professionalism from management made it a problematic stay.

We stayed one night. Checked in late but was still greeted with a smile. Room was clean and cool. Ac was working great. Bed not that comfy for me. But still slept good. Breakfast had sausage and eggs and pancakes. Water pressure was good for a hot shower. No bugs of any kind. Would stay again and would recommend.

Myself and 2 other work colleagues of mine stayed for about a week. The rooms are very nice, clean. The TV is very accessible for gaming devices and such. Can't say much on the way of Wi-Fi, cause I didn't attempt to use it since most hotels I've been in don't support gaming devices on their networks. The bed was comfortable, showers were very nice as well, the glass doors was a nice touch.

Reasonably clean, morning breakfast area extremely hot and small, I believe to keep people uncomfortable so they won't sit down. The afternoon maintenance man was more than a pleasure. Early desk guy needs to learn English.

Price performance absolutely fine. Nice staff and clean rooms. You don't need more than that for transit.

The hotel itself is nice. The rooms are clean and the staff was nice. However, the area around the hotel was a bit questionable. Another guest told us he was almost carjacked less than a mile away.

I booked online ahead of time and my card was charged before our actual check in at the property and then we were charged again at check in for our full stay. I was told the initial charge was essentially a “deposit” that we would get back after check out. I hope no one else has experienced this because I have never had this happen at any hotel I have stayed in. Other than that mishap, the rooms are nicely renovated and our experience was decent. This Days Inn advertises as pet friendly so we were able to bring our dog. One major downside was no available grass area on the property for my dog to do his business I had to walk over past the property.

The hotel has been recently remodeled. It's very nice, staff is very friendly. I have no complaints after staying in other Days Inn.

Rooms were spacious, but a little dirty. Excellent price though. Staff was very friendly. Know what you're expecting — — it's a no frills place. But I would stay there again.

Newly renovated. Excellent decor. Very updated. Decent price per night. Great water pressure. Only had one problem that the staff was unable to resolve… 3 calls over two days about a very active child running amok in one of the rooms near ours. Staff called three rooms but the problem persisted. Just giving my personal experience.

Horrible! I left some clothes in the laundry bag that had medications and a little money in the pocket of a pair of jeans and immediately reported it to the owner who reassured me that my bag would be there untouched when I came to get it. Well, it wasn't. I was told that there was nothing found in the room, that if it had, it may have been thrown away because housekeeping may have thought it was trash… wow! Then they bring in the housekeeper who does not understand anything we are talking about… ok then, guess I am calling Goose Creek Police!

I am a defense contractor working at the nearby Joint Naval Base Charleston. I am always treated with the upmost courtesy and respect from this Days Inn. The staff, especially the Front desk clerk Anne. She has a great personality. She is very professional and kind. She takes the time to accommodate our needs when asked. I always return when I am in the area. Thanks for the service.

Stayed here while visiting our son who is going to school for the Navy. What more can I say, it was a Days Inn. The room and bathroom were clean. They could do some maintenance around the place. Our dead bolt was inoperable so we had to make sure the security arm was engaged when we were in the room. The area around the hotel didn't seem like a high crime area but better safe than sorry. Parking is limited but we were lucky to always get a spot close to the room. All and all, will probably stay here again if we come back while our son is in school.

Noticed my review was cut short so tried to update* dee at front desk was extremely nice and marshall checked room head to toe behind housekeeping upon my checking it. Breakfast ended a bit early but she left it out 30 mins for me. It was not cleaned behind last people however. They were willing to do whatever needed to assist me in my stay. Rooms updated. Ask for children on bottom, floors were thin and we got a call but had 3 yr old so he doesnt understand tiptoe for someone that sleeps early. Exercise room plus. Con no pool. Security cameras everyhwere is plus, seemed to be drug deal in back and shortly after we saw cops ride through. Marshall maintenance man used backpack blower (on second floor) early in a. M. Instead of just using a utility broom or simply waiting until after check out to do top floor if he has to do it that way. Walking by the room multiple times made the room smell of gas fumes and woke our baby and that was a huge down fall. Also walking distance from grocery and food. Overall the best hotel stay we've had in a long time due to The respect and updated rooms as well as trying to be secure.

Very Bad experience! Especially when you state no smoking room yet we arrived and there is not just 1 but 5 cigarette holes in the comforter blanket. I have mixed feelings because I have stayed at Days Inn many times in Plano, TX and room was amazing. This place in Goose Creek was not Days standard I am accustomed to. Although the did renovations the room was old looking, numerous flies, the bathroom looked as if someone was badly hurt in there and door look like it was broken in but the painted over. We went to front desk to get another room was told all booked up. We tried to do some housekeeping but we were still uncomfortable with situation so manager did gives us a full refund. I really liked the new trainee who was trying so hard to accommodate but it fell short do to the short-comings of this particular site. I will continue to patronize Days Inn (just not this locale) and the other entities for my rewards points as long as they are in a good neighborhood with excellent customer service satisfaction.

Even though it's a bit of a drive from Charleston, it was definitely worth it. Room was clean and recently renovated. The staff was very accommodating. Parking was a little tight but we had no complaints and nothing but positive remarks. Would look into booking again on my next visit.

You get what you paid for. Very nice family run and staff. The room was very clean and recently renovated. We were in town for a conference. The room only had two large towels and the iron did not work. The iron soaked my husband's shirt. I asked for a replacement and one extra towel but it never came. Also, the internet did not work and receptionist had no answer to help with the problem. Like I said, very nice family and very clean but for my conference I needed internet and a wrinkle free shirt.

Staff was very nice although area was sketchy, whoever did drywall needs some more experience in patching, the shower glass door has a 1 an a half inch gap. Very uneven walls. And the water? Ya! Tremendously nasty taste. A fire would turn it away! Bed? Very comfortable was the best thing.

I got a $20 off deal through a third party website. They handled it very well at the front desk with smiles and professionalism. The rooms are quaint and all you need. Clean, has a working (very loud) AC unit, has working warm and cold water, nice bed and pillows. The breakfast is disappointing. I had stale cereal and weird tasting eggs/sausage. The internet is stable enough to get the job done! I'd stay here again for the price.

Location is pretty good about 15 minutes from downtown and 10 minutes from I-26. The rooms are pretty very ordinary and basic. The service is mediocre. It's just your average hotel.

Heard non-stop sirens. Room was clean, and smelled fresh, which was nice. I was under the impression they had a pool when I booked, however that was not the case. In room coffee pot didn't work properly, but got the job done. Free breakfast was your basic cereal, bagels, toast, etc. They had yogurt, oatmeal, and gravy for the biscuits. Overall it wasn't a bad experience.

Breakfast sucked. Rooms nasty. Tubs were not clean at all. Looks like a truck stop locker room.

I stayed for Memorial Day weekend & I didn't really have any problems. I was only there to sleep really, and while the rooms weren't that spectacular, they were average. It was kinda noisy due to the busy road it's on, but I didn't mind it too much. Bathtub was a bit old but the shower worked well. Next time I come, I will probably stay again!

The room was discusting. The bathroom exhaust vent was hanging off the ceiling. Was afraid to use the bathroom or take a shower because we felt like people in the room above us could see into our bathroom. Not that I would even bathe my dog in that tube. It was disgusting Plus we were double charged for the room and the front desk didn't give us a receipt. So we didn't discover the double charge until the next month. We are still arguing over that. Stay away from this motel. It's not a place to stay for travelers or people visiting out of town. The room gives you the impression that they have a certain clientele.

Average room and bathroom, Check-out time was 11am and the front desk called 20 minutes prior to ask us if we were coming down. Seems like they were impatient for us to leave! But still a good room for the price.

Had a horrible experience, staff was down right rude, hotel was dirty, the tub looked like it had not been cleaned in months. Also non smoking room smelled like smoke, and they offered no other alternative. Great location to the base, but would not recommend it, nor will I ever stay there again.

The room smelled like urine and was musty. I got a refund and went to a different location.

Reserved thru priceline a nonsmoking room with 2 beds. Got there late friday night to hear them say they had us down for smoking — then they lied and said we had to take smoking or nothing so spent hour on phone with priceline to find out that they magically did have a 2 bed nonsmoking room available so wasted a lot of time for nothing. Will never go there again and other Navy families should not put up with this either! When we first got there we went to a room and it was the "smoking" room — room 127 — my feet stuck to the floor and it smelled rancid — razor wire surrounds the buildings — moldy bath curtains and hair everywhere —

Clean room. Helpful staff. Shower backed up when water running. Very close to NNPTC.

The location is super convenient, there are gas stations and fast food places nearby. The rooms are well maintained and looked nice upon arrival. Staff gave a courtesy call in the morning to remind about the checkout time. Overall it was a great experience.

Decent Wi-Fi and a clean room, what more do you need?

When I first walked in the lobby it smelled like mold. But the lady the front desk from NJ was very nice. Now the room look very nice when I opened the door but had a smell in the room. Ok at this point I can deal with it cause we only staying for 1 day. But I took a shower at 12 am from a long day driving I pull the sheets back and saw the unthinkable a BUG CRAWLING. It look like a tick or something. I take the bug to the front office to let the lady no and she said all the sheets are washed and clean my reply is if the sheets are clean and was washed and dried than the bug would have died from the heat in the dryer. She gave me new sheets and my night was fine and the bed felt good.

Good value for the price. Nice staff.

Disgusting room, never again would I stay there even if free. We booked two nights but left after the first. I have seen better couches on the side of the road, this one was stained everywhere and had trash under cushions, blanket smelled like dog and rotten feet, A/C looked like it had mold and controls were tore up, missing. Very dangerous exiting property, shrubbery overgrown at edge of busy 6 lane road and you just had to pull out and hope nobody hit you.

The good: very friendly staff; fresh paint, clean counter and bathroom; bed was firm and comfortable. In addition to a TV there was a decent size comfortable couch, a microwave and a frig. There was a decent size mirror on the wall and the room was decorated with two pictures (although they were the same picture). The room was clean, and there was plenty of hot water for a long shower. The neighborhood seemed to be a decent community, fairly safe environment for an over night stay. Extremely convenient to restaurants, shopping and downtown Charleston. The bad: thin walls, busy highway, the florescent light above the bathroom sink slow to come on, and there wasn't a rubber mat for the tub (the tub did have a piece of fiberglass missing (defect? ). In a nutshell, if you need a place to rest this is as good as any. For it's price range I'd give it all 5 stars. Face it, it's half the price of a room down town Charleston.

My huband and I rented this location threw hotwire, I was unsure about staying at this, location. I never saw the property aswell as hotwire rated it as a 2 star hotel, we went anyway and we discover it was clean inside and out and very comfortable. The shower head was awesome, but what really impressed me when I, checked out I, forgot my ingagement ring on the night stand I was all the way home before I remebered. Whom ever the housekeeper was turned my ring in. Thank you.

Having been around, is this world class? No. My stay was 5 days, nonsmoking king bed room on the second floor of the main building. The room was clean, everything worked. I didn't see any 'thug life' but I sleep well anywhere. It was an acceptable accommodation for a reasonable cost. Don't look for anything more and you won't be disappointed. If you want better and have the resources, stay in downtown Charleston.

I had my girlfriend come to goose creek to see my A-School graduation at NNPTC. The location for that was perfect, only minutes away from the base and minutes away from the freeway. The room was perfectly clean and free of any bugs. The price was extremely good and the room was cool and comfortable. I will definitely use the days inn the next time she comes down and I recommend it for anyone whos having family visit, especially on an enlisted budget.

I am currently visiting my sailor at the Naval Weapons Station. What's convenient about the location is that it's literally 5 minutes away from the base. However, I booked a King Room (Smoking, because my sailor loves to smoke), and it was unfortunately unsettling. The green couch is ripped, there was a hair in the bathroom, and overall, the look and feel of the place felt unsettling. Though I can understand the overpowering smell of smoke (it is a smoking room), the area even feels very unsafe — — and I come from four years of living in South Central LA as I'm a graduate from USC. I don't recommend people to stay here. I called at 9PM for an extra towel, and the lady was very, very rude. She even said, "Well, you can come down here and pick it up, " and hung up on me. Very bad service. I am never staying here again.

This Days Inn was chosen primarily for the convenient location to the Charleston Naval Weapons Station. We were pleasantly surprised to find our non-smoking room very clean and the beds very comfortable. There were no frills, but just a clean, comfortable, and convenient place to stay while visiting our Sailor. We will certainly stay again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
