This hotel housekeeping is gross! The furniture is beyond trash and disgusting inches of dirt on the shelves and inside cabinets along with dirty dishes on shelves and in the oven. Kitchen sink didn’t drain nor did the bathtub properly. The elevators are gross humid no a/c. The a/c in the room does not work where you program it! I understand we are in a pandemic but even more reason for things to be clean the toilet was caked in urine around the bottom and all corners of the bathroom caked in dirt! They do not give you towels for the bath or pool you have to request them daily you also do not get clean sheets. The restaurant in the hotel is open odd hours and only one staff member to bartend waitress and bus tables. To say this establishment is unkept is putting it mildly. I contacted VaCasa who runs these establishments who refused a refund or room switch. Numerous people there had the same issues if not worse including bathtubs filled with water never cleaned prior to their arrival it’s just gross here!

I would give 3 of 5 Room was as expected per the pictures. Resort was clean and nice. Breakfast is great as long as you do NOT get the buffet. Pancakes were like rubber. They were stuck to the pan, they did bring a new tray out and they actually bounced when dropped on the plate. They then had the chef make more. These did not bounce but they are not edible. The French toast is so thin and not edible either. A order of pancakes separate from the buffet are huge pancakes that are fluffy and really great. The ones in the buffet are all pre made. Not sure why or how they can serve the buffet food. Service was really good though.

This place was amazing, great staff and very clean rooms. Can’t wait to go back and stay again.

I feel my room was awful for the price I paid, our towels were dingy, our bathroom was half cleaned… the room was just poor quality, to be 100 a night, the bathroom is terribly small you can barely utilize it… you'd think the quality would of been amazing… I didn't like my stay at Patricia Grand Lodging… big false advertising…

My daughter’s boyfriend who is 24 booked this hotel for a trip with my daughter who is 20. Their reservation was then canceled because he is not the legal guardian of my 20 year old daughter. This ridiculous policy was not stated on the website. Thankfully, they were able to receive a refund.

Love everything about it… We arrived Saturday morning at 11:30a. M. And our room was ready, Great view… the room was clean bed is very comfortable… definetly will come back here.

I am loving it here. Kinda noisy on the weekend ppl yelling and playing loud music off the balcony at 11 pm. But hey its vaca and people have been coopes up during covid19. But the hotel is amazing so clean friendly staff. The pools are gorgeous and the view is amazing. Walking distance of everything but not in the middle of all the chaos and shops. So its great. Its so quiet. I am usually. Never really impressed with hotels but I am here. Oh and its pet friendly. Love seeing all the wagging tails. Def reccomend.

To begin with the resort is beautiful! It is very well maintained, exceptionally clean and well taken care of! It's in a great location close to shops and restaurants. The restuarant is great, operated by very caring people who give you their very best! And the views can't be beat!

Awesome view, beautiful suites, quite rooms. It's close to all the attractions. Easy to get to and great parking. I would be coming back again soon.

Me and my sisters really enjoying ourselves for 10 whole days and the staff is awesome and the kitchen staff is really terrific. Especially the kitchen manager … Patricia Montgomery. Very tentative and beautiful personality.

Well let's see, our bikes got broken into & they say they have 24 security cameras, but only @ the entrance! Don't park in the garage! Then they DONT WANNA DO CRAP ABOUT IT! Very rude & unprofessional! The police was super nice tho.

The poor staff in dinning room is lost! I ordered food to take to the room and it took almost an hour so I asked for a vodka cranberry while I waited and was told by the "bartender" she didn't know how to make that! Oh my my!

Elevators suck.
Cleaning crew use them causing 10-20 min waits on elevators. Also be careful at the pool bar the bartender will assume certain people are with you and will charge drinks to your room. Was a good stay though breakfast was decent great place for the money.

Great location, but poor room service, poor food service (over 2 hours to wait for our dinner to be served). Stayed here with our baseball team for our tournament. Would not recommend this hotel for anyone let alone large groups.

I loved the hotel, pools, location, restaurant, etc. Everything went great. What I did have an issue with was housekeeping. We brought our dog, and I assumed that was the issue since they offered us other things if we opted out but we said no we wanted the house keeping. It never came, we called the front desk everyday for it, never happened. I would even crate the dog just in case someone would show up. I complained at checkout and was given $20 credit, but it’s still the fact. ALSO, our balcony door kept sticking due to the sand in the track. I ended up just cleaning it out myself and spraying WD40 on it. It works perfect now. I should also get the maintenance pay for it but other than those 2 things we really enjoyed ourselves.

Good ocean view hotel with kitchen and laundry. Few things need to be improved like maintenance in bathroom. Overall it is good for long vacation. I would recommend this hotel if you are going out to spend some peaceful time with your loved ones.

So I was going to give this place a 2 but I didn't have necessarily a bad stay. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't great. Just another 4 walls and a bed. It did have a very musty smell throughout upon entering however. The couch also looked like the one on that 70s show. Well… All the furniture looked very old. On the upside though it's right on the ocean so it's definitely located on prime real estate. This is not a hotel but rather a timeshare property. We booked through a 3rd party that is a time share rental company and as a result we couldn't just show up at the property and check in as you would a normal hotel stay. We had to go by the office of the vacation rental company (which luckily was less than 5 minutes away) to pick up the necessary paperwork to be able to check in prior to going to the property. Not really a big deal since it was close but since we arrived after 5:30pm we had to get the paperwork from a lockbox which had me a bit weary but they assured me that someone would be available via phone 24 hours if we had any trouble. After checking in however we had to return to the vacation rental office the following day to sign paperwork for our stay. So though my wife and I are a part of a vacation club where we have the opportunity to stay in timeshares without the hassle that comes along with owning one we hadn't done so prior to this stay so this being the first one we were surprised but a couple things.

The rooms definitely need to be updated and especially the carpet because it makes the room smell, since is pet friendly. The sliding door to the balcony was extremely hard to open and close. The bathroom was so small and not very cleaned there was rust underneath the toilet. The beds were not the most comfortable. The service at the front desk needs some speed! There would be 10 people in line to either check in or check out and the line would not move. However, the Pools and bar was a thumbs up.

Decent room. Good view. The bathroom was tiny. You couldn't open the door while using the bathroom it was so small. The parking was good. The pools were nice and it is right on the beach. No long path to the beach like some other places we have stayed. The door to the room needed to be painted and the glass closet door was off the track. Other than that it was pretty good.

I wish that I could give a negative zero… I booked this hotel because my brother died and we were going to the beach to getaway as well as dispose of his ashes. When we arrived they had the incorrect dates for my stay. I showed them my reservation email with the correct day. Thus, instead of the manager coming to rectify the situation he chose not to show his face. I honestly feel like RACE was a factor. Another lady kept saying she couldn't do anything with out her manager. However, someone came in after me and had the same situation but they found a room for them. Again race was a determining factor! To make a long story short we were not accommodated despite their error, therefore we ended up at Captains Quarters. They were booked also but after explaining my situation the Manager found us a Suite at a great price. She was very friendly. Unfortunately I will never ever stay at patricia grand as I usually do for harley davidson week. I will make sure that non of my clients ever stay there as well. This was the worst experience that i've ever had to endure. I will be contacting the general manager bob singleton also. Beware if you ever stay here.

I love it here. There is so many pool options, a bar, and beautiful view of the beach. Parking garage across the street. Starbucks coffee shop inside. So many amenities and discounts. Free complimentary breakfast. The staff is nice. House keeping checks on us for fresh towels and service everyday. They also provide beach towels for the pool if you would like. They also had live music for a couple hours today. Nice and clean place. Staff is really nice and it's pet friendly. My kids have enjoyed it and so have I. Will definitely be coming back!

This resort is very tired and worn. So not worth the $$$ we paid to stay there. When we arrived our door wouldn't close and had to have maintenance up to our room at 11pm. During our 3 night stay the air conditioner quit and the stove never worked. The towel rack was falling off the wall, the rugs were stained with paint from the last time the walls were painted and were disgusting and dirty. The room smelled musty and the elevators took forever. There was dog poop on our balcony that we had to have housekeeping come up and clean up. The balcony is carpeted and it was soaking wet the whole time we were there because of rain. I will say despite the condition of the resort the staff was very nice. We would not go there again.

If didn’t have to stay here because of a baseball tournament I would’ve walked out. The hotel is ancient with none of the charm. It’s so outdated and run down. The pictures should be false advertising. The beds squeak and have divets from being used past the date of disposal. The price should be $89 a night not $250. Whoever owns the hotel is just taking money and only fixing what breaks. The deals they run with stay to play is what is keeping them alive. Triple Crown shoul…d be ashamed of themselves for sending people to this resort. Check in is a nightmare. Parking to drop off your luggage is ridiculous. Elevators take forever. You can’t even tell what floor your in until the door opens and you look for number. Too much to detail. Stay away unless you are ok with a $89 a night hotel for the price of $250.

Very clean rooms and nice amenities! Great location for all travelers. Ask for a 1 bedroom oceanfront room with a full kitchen! Awesome customer service! Very comfortable luxury beds! Pet-friendly with FREE parking in private parking deck directly across the street! Heated pools and walking distance to the sky wheel! Recently stayed at the Patricia Grand For 5 nights in May between the Bike weeks and had a wonderful stay. Friendly service from front desk, housekeeping and poolside bar staff. A nice location with a short walks to everything you need on a getaway. We are planning to return next year.

Nice view from the hotel. I believe all, if not most rooms have ocean view. Balconies have carpet, which are always wet because of the humidity. I did see a pretty big cockroach on the balcony wall. I did not see any inside, but they can sneak in through the holes of the sliding door, so zip up all your luggage. Toilet was clogged since we got there (overflowed at one point), had to contact maintenance twice. Boardwalk is about a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel, couple of other restaurants within walking distance.

Was here for a week and my time spent was overall good. The location is not my favorite once I was down there. Now knowing I will most likely won't be back. The place was nice, and clean, the room I was in the not feel modern. Little dated, but who cared I was outside!

Showing it's age certainly. I had a one bedroom with ocean view that was decent at best. The other room was a 1 bedroom suite that was ocean front. That room was ok but dated as well. Had a terrible experience with April at the front desk then good experiences otherwise. If the room price is low enough I'd stay again.

Fire alarm blaring at 3am to run down 11 flights of steps to be told it's a false alarm. And then continues every hour on the hour till 11am. Elevators on south side are questionable. Descend super fast and skip floors with large amounts of people in them. Indoor pool was closed for construction. We stayed 4 days 3 nights and didn't get room service till we had to call down to the front desk and ask for it. Plus side. Ocean front views pool side bar and an indoor heated lazy river.

I loved this hotel! A negative point at the level of the kitchen rooms. There was no kitchen table and no sofa for TV. We moved to a suite. Great confo. Well laid out. Cleanliness is just OK. There's no mosquito net in the patio doors. Strange? Sea view and impression of being on the. Direct place so c is near the sea. Wow! We had to ask twice for the room to be done because at 6pm. 7:00 it was not done. Clearly forgotten… so we did it but quickly quickly… so not as well.

Very nice, clean room. Pet friendly which is a great thing. Most friendly and accommodating staff I have ever encountered. Only negative is parking, which is tight if you have a large vehicle. Overall a great stay.

This hotel is very beautiful and in a great location. The room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The view from my balcony was absolutely amazing, I could see the ocean right from the bed even. They have a beautiful swimming pool outside and inside (inside one was under renos while here, which was noted prior to booking). Also have an indoor lazy river and hot tub and they even have free movie rentals as well. The staff was exceptional, meeting everyone of my needs and requests and even going above and beyond for me as well. I am very pleased with my stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone. Cant wait to come back again. Thank you so much Patricia Grand staff for making this an amazing experience.

The room was very clean. The parking lot is VERY tight so if you drive a SUV or larger vehicle you will have to park behind the parking deck. The elevators are VERY slow and at times scary. Kids ran through the hallway making noises for awhile during the night. My friend was promised a private balcony. We could literally look in other guest rooms. When he called the front desk to speak with someone about the room. He was told there is nothing that could be done and he was free to leave a review (WOW). I like Myrtle Beach if we return WE WILL NOT STAY AT THE PATRICIA GRAND.

The bed was very comfortable, the accommodations in general were nice. There was no hair dryer and coffee wasn't replaced for the second day. Bathroom was cramped! You had to step back to open the door from the inside. Overall nice, but the parking deck brings out from great to OK. The parking deck! Horrible! The ramps up were tight tight tight and you could see where cars have scraped the walls. It was difficult to get up, and the spaces themselves were very small and tight, with lots of weird pipes to navigate around. Also, if you park on an A level you have to walk up/down the ramp if you need to catch the elevator. We enjoyed our stay, the hotel was nice, staff was friendly, room was comfy, but I'll never consider staying here again because the parking deck is so difficult — — I use parking decks daily and this one is the worst. It was engineered terribly and they should tear it down and start all over.

The staff was great and the prices were affordable. They were doing construction which was not great but you have to update. Also our ocean front room had a palm tree right in the way of enjoying the view. I would recommend to a friend.

I would actually prefer to give it a 2.5… the staff was very friendly, even with my room not being ready by 4pm. They were great in assisting me. The resort looks nothing like the pictures. The indoor pool and fitness center are smaller than pictured on their website. The bed was so uncomfortable that I felt like the bed beat me up overnight. Really thought about finding a Planet Fitness just to jump in the massage chair for my back. That's how sore I was the next day from sleeping on the bed. Bathroom was super small. Back to the positives, great view and location. The room was pretty clean.

Make sure to get clean room and get one. We had to change rooms. Being animal lovers and pet friendly is good. But 1st room was embarrassing and absolutely disgusting. The front desk 2nd shift was nice and helped get a clean room that didn't need to be embarrassed to be in. Overall nothing fancy and only minutes away from many things to do. Only 3 of 5 as that's what you have at this property and 3 is high. Parking is across street don't drive a big vehicle here.

Was hesitant due to other bad reviews but our experience couldn't have been better… Except for the weather. The room was modern with a comfortable bed, great pillows, and a big bathroom. Paint was relatively fresh, everything was immaculately clean, toiletries were present along with ample towels, washcloths etc. Will be back.

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. When we first checked in the room was clean, but we didn’t have wash cloths or hand towels. We were informed by the cleaning staff (when we inquired about it) that they were waiting for them to be delivered. By the third or fourth day, we had wash cloths and hand towels. Upon arrival, the room also lacked hand soap/face soap or a bath bar. We also had these things toward the end of our stay. HOWEVER, the reason they are getting two stars instead of the three I was going to give them is because the last full day of our stay, we had asked for fresh towels and for the room to be CLEANED (as it had not been properly cleaned since we got there). About three hours later we stopped at the front desk again because nobody had been around with towels or to clean the room. I understand it’s a big place and cleaning takes time (I am a custodian at my apartment building). The part that is earning them this review is that when we arrived back to the room for the evening our beds were poorly made, the towels were just tossed in the bathroom, hand soap and toilet paper was just tossed on the bathroom counter, the trash bags were taken but not replaced, and things looked like they had cleaned out of spite. As if us requesting them to do their job was rude. Probably will not be staying here again.

Our stay was nice because it was Myrtle Beach. Hotel front staff were a little rude and the hotel could have been cleaned up a little. Great location and access to the beach, plus it’s pet friendly.

Of all of the hotels that I have stayed, I believe this was definitely one of my personal favorite hotels! Although, I really wish I had more time to spend, there are PLENTY of features of the hotel, fitness center, hot tub, pool, lazy river, etc! The only thing is that I wish that I didn’t have to be fifteen floors high! Personally, I recommend this hotel for those who will be staying for longer four days because it fully equipped with everything you need.

Overall The Patricia Grand was amazing. Even for a facility doing mild renovation you could barley notice it. The view from our room was amazing, the bed was a tad rough and the bathroom a little crowded. But it still was an incredible stay and a very comfortable one at that. I would advise people to come hear year around it is well worth it.

My husband and I decided to have a weekend getaway here, mostly because we found cheap prices with it being the off season. We enjoyed the pools and the room wasn't terrible. It was definitely an old room and needs to be updated and the king bed was small. Our complaints are… we didn't have a single trash can in our room and we asked the front desk twice if someone could bring us one and they never did. We also didn't have a do not disturb sign so the day of check out we were woken up by house cleaning very early. Check out isn't until 11 and they came back at 10 knocking and when we answered she said "you're still here? " Came off rude to us. If you don't mind mediocre then this place is fine otherwise I know there are plenty of other hotels in Myrtle Beach that have higher standards.

Absolutely had a wonderful time. The people at every place we encountered where amazing. From checking in, at the bar, the security, the girls that cleaned up and especially the breakfast buffet! First class so the way! Definitely going back. Soon. Fabulous staff. But just one concern, the TV's needed replaced. But we managed. Again thanks for a wonderful time. Hope to see you again real soon.

Been coming here for years and never had this problem but tonight is the worse! No clean rooms! We booked months ago, check out is at 10 maybe 11 how is it no clean rooms? I was given a room key when I opened the door people were already staying in it, how does that happen? For me this would be my last stay here but unfortunately my husband is so freaking easy going and nice so he'll probably want to come back but I will try my best not to.

Well it's somewhat nice, the outside and pool is awesome but small rooms (kingsize bed) not all the rooms have stoves which sucks && the patio echos so bad you can't even talk to your friends without getting complaints from the other customers. We were whispering and laughing and listening to our phone on low and you can hear us so much! No privacy at all. And I can hear the neighbors in the bathroom ://

We booked this hotel for the weekend and the whole experience was horrible. The room was freezing even after turning the heat all the way up. We had a few guests come by and they all made the same comments as soon as they entered. My husband complained about it the first night and was told that maintenance would come up but they never did. Luckily we spent most of our time outside the room. The last morning of our stay I noticed blood was on my husbands pillow case, it was dark so I new it was old. There was also a brown stain on my daughters pillow. My husband took both pillows down to the front desk and was told that there was no manager on staff but they would try to get one to contact us, that never happened. Finally, about 3 hours after we left and was on the way home I realized that I left my boots in the closet. We called and the MANAGER claimed there was no way that she could get into the room to check for them and the housekeeping manager was gone for the day so we would have to call back. Horrible customer service and sanitation, wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

The front desk staff was amazing. However, the room not so much. Roach crawling around, dirty pillows, and a hole in the wall. This place used to be so much better. I only stayed here because they are pet friendly. Never again!

The staff have been amazing! Kind and very responsive to our every need. The location is central, walking distance or a quick drive to the local restaurants and attractions. The view is incredible! Our room has a nice kitchen, but overall seems a little worn out. The breakfast was pretty good.

We enjoyed our stay here. Clean, reasonably priced and dog friendly. I only make this review to warn people with "oversized" vehicles to make sure to ask where they can park because the parking garage is the most insanely small and tight garage I've ever seen. I had to invent new kinds of geometry to get my regular sized Silverado in and out without scratching it on the walls. Seriously, if you have a truck or tahoe etc don't try it!

Not bad for the price. Good location right on the beach, close enough to lots of restaurants to walk, which is nice. Ocean view is muddled by view of other rooms. You get the view on an angle. Needs to be updated. Lots of peeling paint, our safe didn't work, they only made the bed after we complained about it 3 times for only the last night we were in town. Nice people. Beverly is a great morning bartender. I just wish we could have had things taken care of the way they should have been. The building was under construction that woke us up a few days.

We go to Myrtle Beach several times a year during the off season. Most of the time the weather is nice. We love the hole because it's PET FRIENDLY! Some of the rooms have full kitchens for cooking some rooms have balconies that face the ocean as well as the street. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and there are lots of things to do in the hotel. They offer a Lazy River Ride, heated pool, and a Gym. You can get a massage you Nelson and a full breakfast without even leaving the grounds the only downside is the parking lot is across the street. All and all the Grand is Grand!

COCKROACHES COCKROACHES COCKROACHES! I have stayed here 5 years in a row and loved it, until now. From the moment we got here, we knew something was different. The staff seemed a bit more "rough around the edges" to put it nicely. I noticed the walls in the hallways were dirty but still tried to overlook it. The floors in the hallway looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in months. The cleaning staff were more like "kicking it" in the halls instead of cleaning. Last night we went walking around the pool area and saw multiple cockroaches. If I had to give it a number I'd say over 30! We assumed it was just outside but finally on night 3, I saw the biggest cockroach I've ever seen. The thing looked to be 4-5" long and that thing had wings and flew! Within two hours we saw five more in our room including a baby roach in our sheets! We have videos to prove it folks! I was so grossed out and freaked out that I went to the front desk. I asked the lady if they were under new management. She said yes. I had just asked the same question the night before because of how dirty things were and that lady lied and told me no. This lady admitted to knowing that the hotel as a whole has a COCKROACH problem. She said a manager will be with us in the morning and moved us to another room. This room is 100 times nicer and cleaner but I'm so freaked out, it's after 4 am and I can't relax enough to sleep. I'm just waiting to see another roach! I guess I'll feel better once the sun comes out again.

Rooms are clean and modern. Great view. Pool is great. Right on the beach, parking garage opposite.
But unfortunately, eternal waiting time at check-in! A little earlier check in was not possible as the room was not finished. Toilet defective, safe defective. Otherwise everything is OK.

Very nice place to stay. There was a little bit of construction, but it was not an issue. Rooms were clean, and beds were comfortable. Hot tubs and pool were perfect. Only thing I would have liked if the poolside bar was open past 9pm. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Nice room, pet friendly. Great location! Friendly staff, the room cleaning was great until are last night. And the kitchen is nice to have but not a lot of pans for you to cook. So bring all you need. But we will stay here again. And I have stayed in the pass. The room remodels are a big improvement.

Like most beach front hotels on South Myrtle Beach this one is not new and it shows. I have yet gone to a hotel on the beach here that does not show its age though. The rooms are smartly designed and the staff are friendly. They left a few chairs and sun umbrellas as well as a cute little beach ball in our room for our convenience. And lots of guest took advantage of the fact they allow dogs which is hard to find. To bad they do not allow cats.

The negative reviews on here are really blowing my mind, so I'm posting this is hopes of encouraging others to stay here because it's an amazing place. My husband, dog, and I booked 5 days here and I must say-staff is very friendly (especially elevator maintenance/cleaner guy I met early this morning), our room is perfect-huge clean bed, bathroom setup is ideal, other furniture in room very comfy, nice TV, nice closet, perfect lighting, beautiful ocean view. Probably one of my favorite things is I think the walls are so thick that we've not been disturbed by any other neighbors or outside noise AT ALL! Great dog walking area, plenty of elevator access, hotel is super close to all attractions, etc. I can't praise this place enough, I'm super impressed! Will definitely return.

Hotel was awesome so beautiful. The balcony view was lovely. There was a stove entire fridge and a microwave in our room we couldn't have asked for more. Non smoking hotel but it didn't hurt to go out for a smoke. Even have people to help you up to your roll with your bags! Mike was awesome. Pool inside bar inside with great drinks.

Book this hotel if you enjoy being around cockroaches! Seriously something has to be done about this place. From the outside the place looks great, but as soon as we checked in and began walking towards the elevators we immediately noticed the dead roaches that were stepped on. We enter the elevator and noticed the rickety elevator that was in dire need of a sweeping and a mop. The walls were covered in grime and filth and with the added bonus of a stale urine odor when the elevator doors opened up… Later on in the evening we decided to take a dip in the indoor pool and to notice the area around the pool was swarming with cockroaches. There were huge fully grown roaches to the tiny baby ones crawling all over the place. There were even floating dead ones floating in the water. So we decide to check out the other end of the hotels pool area and we were greeted with the same horror. The tiles in the area were loose and when you stepped on them there would be a family of roaches that would run out of the cracks in the tiles. This being a hotel one would think that it would have the capital to hire a staff for the upkeep of the place, but apparently not. So if you are currently looking for a hotel to stay at the next time you plan on visiting Myrtle Beach I would not even consider this hotel. My best advice would be to avoid this place at all costs. Even if they lower their rates by half I would still not even stay at this place ever again!

We chose to stay at the most expensive suite and this experience has been the worst. I received better hospitality from motels than I did at this hotel. The maids do not come to your room to change the towels, bedding, and trash cans unless you ask. I have stayed at this hotel for an entire week and they never changed the bedding until we asked twice. Then the maid gave us the bedding and told us strip the bed and then dress it ourselves. Worst service ever. When I took the pillow cases off the pillows we had, I found feces and blood stains on there. I am so disgusted. We didn't spend roughly 2.5 grand so we can do our own chores. The hotel also didn't have enough towels during our stay to give to guests. The towels they did give us had various disgusting permanent stains that made me not want to use them. On top of that, the photos online depict a fancy luxurious stay. The photos are more like, what the room and hotel looked like 30 years ago. The hotel room looks really dinky like a ghetto motel. When we arrived on our first day, I literally wanted to cry. This has been the most disappointing hotel experience for the amount of money we paid. The only good thing about this stay has been the window view is ocean front. The Patricia grand needs new management or less lazy maids.

The place is clean and really nice. I do understand the no smoking policy, even on the balconies. Smoking is not illegal, so therefore I would at least take one area and make it nice for smokers to go. I guess I just don't like being condemned because I smoke. Other than that I really love the place, the staff is great. The room excellent.

Awesome location being right on the beach and a short walking distance from many restaurants and shops. A short drive to local attractions such as Broadway at the Beach. Room was clean, staff was friendly and accommodating. I think all rooms have a view of the beach, which was very nice. The only thing I didn't like was that there was no complimentary breakfast — may have been my fault for reading past that part when booking! However, there is a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner at affordable prices. Parking is across the street, but you can unpack right near the doors and move the vehicle when done. Would definitely stay again. Oh, and the bartender by the pool (Beverly, I think? ) was AWESOME and kept us great company while a few storms rolled past! We got our deal through Groupon and honestly once we arrived I was kind of nervous. The photos online were definitely when it was "newer" so I was a tad shocked once we arrived after a 10 hour drive from Kentucky. First let me say, The front desk associates were very polite and got us checked in as fast as possible, especially seeing as it was booming vacation season and right at 3pm! My only complaints are that our room (we got an oceanfront king) was very rundown (super outdated carpet — was badly ripped up around our main entrance door — not to mention we had to put all our body weight into getting it open) bathroom looked like they had at least updated the sink, paint (though it was already chipping) and wood tile flooring — the tub was definitely needing to be replaced — I felt like I was stepping into a spaceship when showering — and it didn't drain correctly. At least two of our large main towels still had stains on them even though they were supposedly clean, also our bedsheets had some kind of black residue staining. Nevertheless, this being mine and my husbands first vacation/tropical getaway I was trying to be very optimistic and low maintenance. The balcony was definitely the biggest let down — the view was beautiful (the ocean was right there! Which is what really had me excited about the trip) unfortunately they have a pretty bad bird problem and the balcony is carpeted and had bird waste all over it so we didn't spend time out there.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. Every staff member was super friendly and always welcoming you. The pool side bar drinks were delicious (if you're 21+) and the bar tender was hilarious! He was very nice and would make any drink you would like! The view is absolutely stunning, open the blinds and there is the ocean and the beach! There were 4 hot tub pools, inside and out! And on top of all of that they also have a lazy river, indoor and outdoor pool, and a whirlpool! I give this hotel a 5/5 stars and recommend it to every single person looking for hotels in myrtle beach with a beautiful view to enjoy!

My stay here was an absolute nightmare and it only lasted 20 min. Where should I start first of all the room was dirty the AC didn't work and it smelled like it was more than just pet friendly it smelled like animals lived in the hotel without people. The front desk person switch our room and the exact same thing occurred. Housekeeping acted like they didn't care that the room was filthy… we ended up gettng our reservation transferred to the Anderson.

If I could I would give this no stars at all! I called to do over the phone reservations made my reservations for April 31st until may 1st a one night stay for a put stop to break up a the drive to disney… I called to make sure everything was good to go and was told my reservations had already passed! How is this even possible? The manager told me there is nothing I can do because we sent you a email I told the lady on the phone I don't mess with my email and she stated it was okay because they just needed it to send this through! Now I paid for a room I didn't even get to stay in and when I told them I would give them bad review manager Tim stated that this would be okay have a nice day! I wish I knew the number to corporate because this is horrible! We don't have the extra money to pay for another hotel and the payment on this of course has already went through so now my kids are stuck in the car for 19 hours! ANYONE HAVE THE NUMBER TO CORPORATE?

Outdoor pools unheated, everyone was stuck inside with very small lazy river and indoor pools. Starbucks is offered onsite only two days a week for a couple of hours. Poolside bar is surrounded by dirty chairs and only open sat/sun for a few hours. Cash only, cannot charge to room. Rooms dirty. Wifi was awful/in and out whole time. Staff nice. Breakfast poor. Up all night coughing from black mold coming from a/c unit. Vents not cleaned in forever. Poor management. There is much better value in myrtle beach for the price. Will most certainly not be back.

Booked a reservation for the first week in March and was disappointed with my stay. While the location is great (right on the beach) the hotel experience itself was very poor. My stay was for 5 days and not once did housekeeping come by to clean the room. I called several times to request them and was told that they would come but the most they did was drop off towels. By then end of my reservation I had a huge mound of towels and sandy sheets. Also, the room next to me seemed to have been abandoned. It was quite creepy. I could look over my balcony into the room and see dirty windows, a broken chair, and a dead bird… I don't believe anyone had been near that room for months. Perhaps the most disappointing part of my stay was the noise. I woke every morning around 7am to what seemed like the sounds of jackhammers. It went on for hours and would not let me get any sleep. Not what you want to hear on vacation. To end on a positive note though, the rooms and view were very nice. The front desk was friendly and almost all attractions are near by.

When we first checked in, the room we had didn't have the heat working. After talking to someone at the front desk, they were quick to fix the situation and move us to a different room. The view from the room is amazing! My wife and I love it. The indoor pool and hot tubs are a lot of fun as well. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

We booked a room through Groupon. We got a good deal for the room. The lady at the front desk was EXTREMELY rude. I understand working third shift is pretty tiring (I work third shift as well). We are from out of town and we had a couple friends (5 to be exact) come and hang out at our room. We had music playing, not loud because I understand people need their sleep. We get a complain, so we turn off the music. Music is off and we are just hanging out, we get a rent a cop to my door saying by law we have to leave our room… I am not writing this review to defend myself, Im writing it to explain how awful the customer service was and how easily they will kick people out. They could of transfered us to another room. I have worked in the hospitality business before. I definitely do not recommend staying here.

This hotel was a STEAL! We got a great deal booking only a month in advance! On the not so busy end of the strip but only mins from everything! When we checked in they greeted us with lemonade and snacks! Staff was friendly and curtious! Room was clean and very up to date, balcony overlooking the ocean. Lobby had a Starbucks which we loved, had direct access to private part of the beach at all times day and night, Lazy river, 2 hot tubs, indoor and outdoor pool! This hotel was a major hit for our vacation! Only complaint would be the elevators are very slow!

We got the Groupon special for a last minute getaway. The staff are friendly. The room was clean with a great ocean view off the balcony. Great location. Was totally worth the Groupon deal only.

Room was exactly what we requested. Very clean, great view! Staff was extremely polite and outgoing. Great price for the stay. We will definitely stay here again!

My vacation was exellent in the patricia grand I love this place I will come back. Very clean facility and I will recomend to any one to stay at the patricia resort.

Good price for this hotel. Rooms were nice and clean, has a lot of pools. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking deck though is a little tough to maneuver through.

Sub par stay… carpet stained, freezer nasty… cockroaches, we left early because of the bugs. Disinfecting everything before the stuff we brought on the trip comes into our home. Very basic pool and lazy river is pathetic. Nice that it is on the beach though. People at front desk were unprofessional. Too busy chatting among themselves than helping customers. We didn't even know there was a restaurant there until we left. They should really explain the facilities there before they check us in! Went to get towels for the pool and there were none. Not a place I would go again.

I was very disappointed in the room we had here. First off, multiple things weren't working correctly in the room. The A/C would turn off randomly and not turn back on till it was hot in the room. The air filters to the A/C were broken and just dangling off the unit. The unit itself looked like it was from 1988. The toilet wouldn't flush correctly, it would also keep running till you jiggled the handle, and the seat would shift a few inches every time you sat down. There was a few tears in the carpet and shower curtain. The sliding glass door was hard to move, and it was apparent that this is an issue at every room because you could hear people slamming them shut and open all night long, whole you're trying to sleep. The one lamp with two power plugs on it wouldn't charge anything unless you wiggled the plugs around. The room even smelled old. A huge issue here too is the elevators. There's not enough elevators for the guests and staff. You typically have to wait a good period of time to go anywhere. The elevators themselves also need some TLC. They after very sluggish getting the doors open, and if you push the door to keep it open, it doesn't reopen, it will fight with you to close on you, so be careful. They also tend to move a little bit even when stopped. The rest of the hotel was decent. There was a washer and dryer on our floor. Had a decent view of the ocean from the room too. The lazy river was very small which was let down for me but, at least they have one.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Room was clean, friendly staff, pet friendly, and a great location. The elevators are definitely showing age and for a short time 2 of the 3 main elevators were broken. However, they fixed them rather quickly and it was not much of a problem. I will stay again soon.

The many just very young ylas are things that there are in are very dirty old do not recommend for Madhouse charge not worth worth.
