The hotel is pretty nice honestly, the breakfast area is better than most I’ve been to (don’t go too late though or there won’t be any milk left! Lol) and they have a nice pool area. An indoor and outdoor pool that are connected. No hot tub here, but a pretty view of the river and it’s pretty well located. So why 3 stars then? Both days we were at the hotel I noticed pretty big spiders in our room by the window. We were on ground level, maybe this isn’t an issue on the upper floors but I don’t like to see bugs in a room I’m paying to sleep in. Overall, besides the spiders it was nice.

When we first arrived, the man at the service desk was super nice and helped us with our questions. The hotel itself is very organized, clean, and easy to navigate. The breakfast was filling and tasted great! The man running the breakfast bar was super nice as well and helped us out even though we came a few minutes before closing. The room is spacious and all the staff are really nice and helpful.

The hotel itself isn’t terrible but it isn’t great either. It’s not a bad place to sleep and the price was great. I got into town at 4AM and was having a hard time finding somewhere that would let me check in even though I just wanted to stay till 11AM check out for full price. It was between here and sleeping in my car and luckily the night auditor Will was extremely friendly and helpful! He got me checked in right away and made a frustrating night so much better! Thanks for being awesome! Also, the side doors are unlocked at night, which isn’t an issue for me but seems worth noting. No key card entry or anything.

Not bad for the price. Right on the water and next to the boathouse bar and grill. For a lot cheaper than most places in the area I would for sure stay here again. Got a free upgrade just for asking if they had that type of room. Great service, people are friendly for sure. Wasn't over the top spectacle, but for sure I place I would not mind staying at again. Like the water feel and the location is convenient for me.

This hotel is under renovation. The room next to mine was being remodeled and it was never a problem. The workers started after ten a. M worked their 8 hours and left. Our room with two queens and a balcony was very clean. Internet was strong. The indoor pool looked wonderfully clean and inviting though we didn't use in. My reasoning for three stars is simply because of renovation. I will not hesitate to stay here again.

Great price. The Boathouse next door had AWESOME food. The room was clean. View was nice being next to the river. Not too far from stuff. Reception was pleasant. My cooler tipped over on the sidewalk and a glass bottle fell and broke so I went to ask a staff member for a broom and he had an attitude. But other than that it was very pleasant. I would stay again.

No stars. This is apparently a locals' motel now. The rooms overlooking the parking lot, & abandoned mall across the street, "haven't been upgraded yet. " There is no jacuzzi, even though the signs are still up. There is no RiverWalk. The handle on our sliding glass door was GLUED ON. The lobby is misleading. Of course, why would you bother changing it? Whoever bought this previously beautiful conference center is only in it for the few bucks he can make off the local inhabitants. This is no longer the affordable, enjoyable destination for a discerning beachgoer. Myrtle Beach should be ashamed.

For the price, it can't be beat. I was skeptical of what it may be like with the price when I booked the room. Yes, it was a little dated but I have stayed in a whole lot worse for a lot more money. My room was clean, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice and clean. The front desk was courteous and helpful and the staff did a great job. Will stay there again.

Well, I do a lot of traveling and I tend to stay at lower cost places (I'm retired) but I have stayed at a lot of more expensive places that didn't come even close to what I got here! The staff were exceptional! Forest and Will couldn't have been better to deal with! The room was a little dated and the tub surround needs to be updated but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I would stay here again anytime I am in the area. I often hear it said "you get what you pay for" Believe me this is one of the best bargains I have found in a lot of years of traveling! Cliff Bignell Lindsay On.

If I could give a negative star I would. First of all the website says you can check in from 3:00 pm until midnight. We (myself and my two children) arrived at 5:15 pm only to be told our reservation was cancelled and the hotel was sold out. After showing my email confirmation as well as the charge already being pending from my bank account (yes I had to log into my online banking to show I had been charged) I was told they would over book the hotel and let me get a room so we would not have to go somewhere else. We got our keys and left back out to enjoy some attractions. We came back to the room and started taking showers. Long story short, roaches were crawling on the wall. I took a picture while my children packed up and we left immediately. The hotel clerk did not seem surprised and told me if we could not find another room (it was 11:45 pm) he would get maintenance to spray and we could return to finish the night! No thank you Sir!
