This is not the hotel for you if you want fancy shmancy. But if you want something at a great price that gets the job done, then go for it! Beds are comfy, service was nice, breakfast was okay but something was wrong with the waffles both mornings we were there. Either the batter was too runny, or the iron wasn’t getting hot enough. That being said, having breakfast included with the price of the stay was very nice and added to the budget friendliness. The room was very basic, and the house keeper tried barging into our room before 8 in the morning, which wasn’t pleasant. But the shuttle bus was timely, and very convenient, and the driver was very nice! We would come to this place again if we were on a budget.

I have stayed at this hotel twice now and left very happy. The room with two double beds (and big TV, fridge, microwave, and desk) also has a separate living room area with a fold out couch and its own TV. The free crib provided is nice and solid. Everything was clean and in good condition. The breakfast was decent and includes fresh waffles. The staff was polite and friendly both times too. The hotel is a little ways off from I-95, but the extra driving was worth it for us.

Very nice rooms for the price. 5 minutes from down town. Free shuttle service to Savannah from 9 am to 9 pm was the reason I chose this moderately priced hotel. The only real down fall I can think of was that the front desk only ever had 1 person working it.

Everyone here was very polite. The room was clean but dated, and our room was only partially serviced one day while we were there. You have to get to breakfast early, or they will run out! The fitness center had a treadmill, bike, and Nordic track as well as some weighted balls. It was farther out than I expected but very close to the interstate, making our drive into town pretty quick.

Finally after searching all of Savannah for a hotel to stay in they had a room available! It was a no smoking room but the room clearly smelled of cigarette smoke. However the bed was comfy. I wasn't in love with the pillows but my husband liked them very much! The breakfast was yummy though!

I just woke up at 2am and noticed bites on my arm. Sure enough I found two bed bugs in my sheets which I managed to physically bring over to the front desk to show them. The woman at the front desk was very courteous. She let me know that the General Manager would issue a refund but not pay for my hotel next door which costs $20, which I found out is managed by the same general manager. For $20 this review could have been a lot better. Since I'm waiting for my clothes in the dryer right now, I figured I might as well be productive with my time at 3am. Coming next door, I noticed that the beds at bed bug protectors on the mattresses, so obviously there is some awareness of a potential issue. I happened to check the bed before I left the previous hotel and there was no such protection. Strange. Please don't book here, bed bugs are a real pain.

American horror story: baymont inn. This place refused to give us a refund after we left a night early because there was 1) dried blood on the sheets AND 2) they gave us a broken bed (knowing full well it was broken). 3) The plumbing was messed up. Hotel manager was absolutely useless and continues to block our refund request. There is also a paper/poultry mill around it so the air WILL smell weird and you WILL be sad you stayed here.

This is long but worth it if you want to be treated like an equal human being: Rooms were decent, however the owner made our stay there unpleasant. We went for SPD weekend. We are 4 mature adults who wanted to dress up and experience the famous Savannah scene. Shuttle service was advertised as complimentary, it wasn't. We were informed at check-in that wrist bands were available for 10.00 for the entire weekend. So we bought them. The next day, we are told we need to buy new ones for the new day. Now there is no way that 4 of us misheard the girl from the previous day. Instead of honoring the wrist bands, or making it right since their front desk misinformed us, the manager said he would give us our money back but refused to give us new wristbands… any person with half a brain knows that doesn't make sense. I tried to explain to him how incredibly wrong that was, they made a mistake and giving us our money back and refusing to sell us new wristbands DID NOT FIX it. No matter how many angles I tried to come from to explain it he just refused. Basically to show he had power over us. To further this HE TRIED TO KICK US OUT OF THE HOTEL! This man just wanted to show us he could do whatever he wanted. When he walked outside, I looked at the girl and asked her if she realizes what they were doing was wrong. She gave me a sympathetic look and shrugged saying "he's my boss". Then I felt bad for the staff.

Baymont Inn by and Suites is a great hotel to stay at. It is very close to the historic district. We stayed St Patrick's Weekend 2018. They have shuttles going and coming to the historic district. The staff is friendly and always greeted us with a smile and had answers for our questions and concerns. Megan Brittny and Tasha… You girls were Awesome!

The management here is lazy. Could use major improvement. They won't return guest calls. Then complain about how things aren't their problems. The bathroom sink in my room won't drain. The AC don't work like it should. The room smells musty. Plus they royally messed up my reservation, even with repeated calls prior to arrival. Now, on a good note… The front desk staff is awesome. The room service cleaning is awesome. The overall quality of my room is awesome, aside from the sink and smell. Will I stay here again? Probably. But only with rewards points for free nights.

This hotel is fairly close to downtown Savannah. Toilet has a black ring around it, the shower looks like it has never seen a sponge. The fridge had yogurts and tortillas left in it! Housekeeping obviously does not do their job. Staff has an I don’t care attitude. The breakfast was out of eggs and sausage… when they finally stocked them they were cold and burnt. I have seen better one star hotels! I applaud you Baymont!

3 miles+ Outside of Savannah, but easy to get into the city. Clean and comfortable but not much to eat for breakfast. The coffee is the water down version. The staffs have the "don't care" attitude Not a nice neighbor hood to go out for a walk or bike.

Far from the published opinions. Sad hotel. Light cleanliness of the center. Poor breakfast.

Value for the money. Suburban, but works if you don't have/want a car (see below). Very, very friendly, helpful staff. Lots of "we're small but we try harder" stuff like fresh baked cookies put out every day at 6pm, and the offer of a small library of books and DVDs (with a loaner player) for rainy days. More than just the continental breakfast advertised, there were hot food items too. Nice big rooms with10 foot ceilings (I was on second floor, not sure about first). Yes, the furniture was a little (only a little) shopworn, so what? Yes, there is a nearby train line serving the Savannah River port terminals, so you will hear some, reasonably distant, train whistles and maybe even boat horns. Some say nuisance, I say charming. Goes with the location, which is on a kind of empty country highway. Actually, a plus, in my estimation. A narrow, but dense, band of forest completely, I mean completely, insulates the back of the property from the busy, and kind of low rent, Augusta Rd. Corridor, and the front faces more forest leading down to the distant, invisible, shipping complexes. So services like grocery, gas, cheap eats, package store, laundromat, Family Dollar department store, and, hey if you need it, title pawn shop are all incredibly close (walkable, actually) but safely out of sight and mind. Downtown Savannah is, maybe 15/20 minutes away. I used regular city buses (routes 3 and 3B) on Augusta Rd.

This hotel is in a great location close to the heart of Savannah. We had such a great time during our stay in the rooms were spectacularly clean. Everything we needed was provided and the staff was very accommodating. This is our second stay and just as good as the first.

While the room was nice, I only paid 64 for the night and the front desk agent told me rooms normally go for 99, and this is most certainly not a $99 room. The hallways smelled terrible, I had to hold my breath when briskly walking to my room. When I got in my room, there was a smell that wasn't bad, but clearly covering up the smell in the hallway. The carpets in the halls were filthy and stained too. The room itself was nice and the bed and bathroom were clean. The hotel was close to downtown and the staff was very friendly. The free breakfast looked terrible except for the cold cereal.

If you are looking for a hotel that cares about it's customers, this hotel is NOT it. The customer service here is breathtakingly bad. On Dec 18th 2017, more than a 1000 flights were cancelled due to the Atlanta airport shut down, and my flight was one of them. My flight and car rental agencies were very empathetic and helpful in issuing prompt refunds for the cancelled trip. The customer service agent at this hotel, on the other hand, could not have cared less. The manager did eventually approve the refund request, though I was never able to directly talk to him/her despite my multiple requests. Even after they said they would allow a refund, I still had to go through a long process to get them to actually issue it.

This place is a real gem. The outside of the building doesn't look like much but the rooms are great. One area with comfortable seating and TV. Next part of the room was a standard hotel room. The staff was great. Micro and fridge in the room. Bathroom was very clean and updated. We are planning another trip to Savannah just to stay in this hotel. Full disclosure, it doesn't take much of a reason for me to plan a trip to Savannah. I love that City.

Wish I could give 0 stars. The customer service is TERRIBLE. The manager is so rude. I reserved my room well in advance and they didn't have me in their system. They told me they wouldn't have a room ready until 6pm, I tried to be understanding but they wouldn't even let me wait in the lobby. So they told me I could look for another hotel, as long as I canceled my room before 6pm. So I found another hotel, and called to cancel my reservation there. The girl on the phone said it was fine and they wouldn't charge me. Then the manager called me BACK, and said the they were charging me, and his employees were in training so it's not his fault they told me wrong. He was incredibly rude and not apologetic in the least. If you want to enjoy your vacation, I suggest you DO NOT stay here.

Very clean and friendly. Cookies were great. Very nice continental breakfast. Bed was so comfortable. Room all updated. Only one negative, put the ashtray by the back door further away.

Very happy with my stay in this hotel. Building looks new or recently renovated. Big rooms, it was very clean and very confy beds. Microwave and coffee maker in room. Continental breakfast included eggs, sausage, biscuits, yogurt, cereal, bread. Complimentary shuttle to historic district.

Nice room. Helpful staff. We slept very well. Nice bed, sheets, pillows, and towels. Good breakfast — — scrambled eggs, gravy, biscuits, waffles, and more. Nice TV and a separate sitting area where I could read while my husband watched a football game. Would have given 5 stars, but pool was closed for maintenance, and it would have been nicer to be in the historic district. Even so, it was a short drive to the downtown area. This motel is near the port, and the truck traffic is a bit noisy — — but only during the day. Stay on the 2nd floor and you'll sleep snug as a bug… Traded in my book for one from their free library. It was a very good book too. Hope someone else enjoys it! Thanks Baymont!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was wonderful especially Tasha at the front desk. Had to evacuate there because of hurricane Irma. The staff did their best to make us comfortable during the stressful time. Wine & cheese, good breakfast and sandwiches. Thank you Baymont for taking care of us. Love the Frison family/ Sugar Mama's Pralines & More.

It's located in the hood. Front desk doesn't give good customer service. We requested a room with two queen beds and a roll-out bed through a third party and all we got was for two queen beds. We tried to resolve this with the front desk and she did not know how to settle the balance and get us a roll out bed.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff was rude, snippy and condescending. As we were trying to check in, the woman working the desk was on her phone and made us wait for her personal conversation to end before checking us in. They charged our cards multiple times and then gave us grief when we tried to dispute the charges. We tried to get a hold of one out of the three managers, but each were conveniently never in during our three day stay. Gave our number to a front desk clerk named JR and he said he would tell the manager to give us a call. Come to find out, JR never even relayed the message, but gave us attitude when we wanted updates on the manager's whereabouts. Hotel also isn't in the best neighborhood. Do not stay here!

Great experience! The room was clean, smelled good and pretty big! The hotel trolley to and from downtown and amtrak is a great plus because they have service hourly. The breakfast was so and so, but hey if you want the usual all American breakfast you're good to go! Eggs, sausages, waffles, oj, coffee etc… I really liked this hotel! We will definetely come back to Savannah and will use the same hotel for sure!

Decent rooms and amenities for the money. Staff is accommodating. Not much within walking distance but close to highway. If your looking for fried Chicken, it is the only thing within a short drive.

Great hotel, clean and affordable. Friendly staff. Only drawback was vending machine on floor was out of order. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Convenient location close to downtown Savannah without the high downtown prices. Breakfast was great with a good selection of food. The rooms smelled funny and are a little outdated but other than that we were pleased with our stay.

A great place for the money. Staff has been absolutely wonderful. Clean rooms. Super comfy beds. Decent breakfast, nice little variety. Pool is wonderful after a day walking around Savannah or after sometime at the beach. Not very crowded and free shuttle. Sometimes you just want to escape the hustle and bustle. Will definitely book here again for future visit.

Hotel correct unfortunately very eccentric Savannah. However a free shuttle system is proposed to go to the city centre. Attention also to the presence in front of the hotel to a railroad where spend endless freight trains. The pool is perfect.

My husband and I stayed here on our way back home from our honeymoon. The staff was friendly, the room was great, and it wasn't too far from downtown Savannah. The hotel even had a shuttle that ran to the historic district, which was very convenient. They also served cookies at the front desk at a certain time, which I thought was a nice touch! Definitely recommend!

Super Motel. Staff very friendly. Rooms large and clean. Good to stay there even with a toddler. There is a very small mini kiosk, if you have evening hunger. You can do also laundry there cheap. Good for a motel. Especially the coffee. Several times a day, there's a free shuttle service from the hotel to the city centre and back. Otherwise it is also drive yourself in 10 minutes to the city centre. Only criticisms are that despite offered washing machine staff has any change as a change, to be able to wash and the maid enters the room before check out several times in the morning and wants to clean even though checkout is until 11: 00. Otherwise top Motel at a good price. Would stay there again.

We were very pleasantly surprised after several reviews of the last few weeks about this Inn! We should a check in earlier and it was a free shuttle to Savannah offered historical district. The room was huge and really nicely decorated. Perfect with all our suitcases and for our daughter to crawling. The baby's cot was 1 a regular mattress.
There was a super breakfast (American typical just) but completely sufficient!
And at 18, there are cookies you free! ;)
However, there were two little disappointments affecting but not the star. You can for 1, $25 wash or dry. However, the welcome absence of quarters could not switch…
The housekeepers, were another matter. Despite checkout at 11 am right after the breakfast from 9 am constantly knocked and came… goofy when you sleep… just put the baby in the room.

I stayed here during the Aegis Nova Ingress anomaly. The staff were chill, and it was a good price. Not bad at all.

Suites are clean and price is great for an overnight stay. Staff were welcoming would stay again.

Service is friendly. A fairly decent stay. No major complaints.

Tremendous value. Clean, large rooms. Staff was VERY accommodating. Wedding guests were quite pleased.

Bsymont Inn & Suites seems like the best lodging option available in Savannah for the price. Two friends and I stayed in a 2 bed room for just under $100 for the night, and jt was very nice! When the surrounding area left us feeling unsafe at night, BI&S was our sanctuary! The staff was very friendly (and forgiving — we were about six minutes late for checkout at 11 AM but were greeted only with smiles and no consequences. We enjoyed a conplimtery breakfast and watched TV in the lobby while waiting for a car repair. If I find myself in the area again, I would definitely stay at Baymont Inn & Suites.

We had a whole wedding party and family members staying here. The rooms very clean and the staff was very friendly. They went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one. The shuttle into Savannah was a great extra as parking there can be a nightmare. Thank you Baymont Garden City for being so accommodating.

Just left after trying 4 rooms. Between ac not working, smelling of urine, and general poor cleanliness, we won't be back. Not to mention a guy who looked drugged out following my wife. Hotwire listed this as a 3 star property, think this was my last Hotwire reservation as well.

I would stay here again in a heartbeat. We had 3 rooms in our party and everyone was thoroughly pleased with this GardenCity Baymont. The shuttles to and from Savannah were a blessing. The staff at this hotel went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and we thank them for it. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast pleased everyone, the pool was great and the price was right.

My husband and I stayed at this location during a short three day stay in Savannah this past week. This was my first time in Savannah and the location of this hotel was perfect. It was 3 miles from downtown/river street, 20 minutes from Tybee Island, and very close to several stores and shops. The hotel was clean, the price was right, the breakfast was good, the room was clean (a little hair in the bathroom but not major), the staff was very nice and professional. I would definitely stay her again and again, as long as they continue doing what they are doing now. The reviews I viewed before booking were on point.

It's a pity! The hotel itself could be a nice place, but the employees behave like they're not in the mood for service. First of all, they messed up our reservation and checked someone else in under my name. After waiting 20 min. After a long drive they figured it out and upgraded us to a suite which was okay. The room had a big Flat-TV but no save, W-Lan worked fine. At the first breakfast, milk was empty and it took them 15 min. To buy new one at a supermarket. The second day there were no spoons and the annoyed receptionist told me they are empty. An hotel without spoons? Great! The Jacuzzi in the pool area could have been a great place, but it's devastated and nobody's caring, neither cleaning nor heating it up. My recommendation for the management: Hire new employees and it could become a recommendable stay.
