Paid for a high floor room, got a room on the first floor because they were fully booked apparently. The room was dirty — the sheets were dirty, used towels on the ground, used room key from the previous guest, trash full of other people's trash, stains on the couch, short and curlys on the bed sheets. Everything was filthy. Worst of all, the AC didn't work. By far the worst Hyatt I've ever stayed at. While the entire state is open, they still have a closed pool and aren't doing daily cleanings (or any cleaning apparently). Hotel staff was nice but that's about it. This place was yuck. We saw a giant roach in our room but it scurried back into the wall before I could get a picture. Found one in their parking lot though, they have a serious infestation. This place is nasty.

Ice machine was broken on the third floor. Blankets were thin. It’s was fair for the price. Nothing special. Was clean. The staff was less than enthusiastic. It’s was blahhhh but when traveling and you can no longer see straight anymore…. Anything will do. And that it did.

Super duper clean suite! Felt safe staying here for the weekend! Very courteous staff too! The room is very large with a bar with sink, swinging flat screen TV, sectional couch, vanity area and king size bed in the adjoining section!

Mold in showers, food & drinks from previous guests in fridge.

Nice staff but when we got in the room there was trash and food left in the room from previous guests. Used band-aids and tissues in the trash can by the sink, french fries and used tissue by the sofa, gummies and a water bottle under the pullout sofa, price tag left on the toilet, dirty tub and shower curtain. I ended up taking pictures of everything to show the front desk because it just became ridiculous. Housekeeping would benefit from being retrained.

Staying here for work, but I couldn't have asked for a nicer hotel. Beds are incredibly comfortable, breakfast & coffee is good. The bar is nice with a good selection of reasonably priced cocktails, and guest service reps are extremely kind & professional. They have a stock of toiletries in case you forget something. My only complaint is, they should have a microwave in the rooms! can't heat up my take out. Would stay here again if needed.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Wonderful staff, great breakfast! They need more kid friendly channels on TV for when kids need to wind down after traveling but other than that, it was great all around!

Last night we packed up our 3 kids, 2 dogs and everything we thought we wouldn’t want lost forever, decided to leave town and drive thru the night instead of leaving in the am. We couldn’t find a hotel to take our dogs so we decided to still leave and were planning to just sleep in the car along the road, until I found this hotel. You guys are life savers, literally! Thank you all again! There have been reports of hotels price gouging and this place was very affordable. We would’ve paid anything but we were lucky to have found such a safe haven.

My truck was Stolen — from the parking lot 8-2-2018, guess what no working cameras. Not a safe hotel as they as Marriott claims. They do not care about your security at all. At least an employee drove my husband to get a rental. Seems Marriott wants to make it clear it happened at this locationTownePlace Suites by Marriott Columbia Northwest/Harbison That location dosen't have a FB page so be warned my truck was stolen from the better neighborhood. Either way Marriott doesn't have working cameras to keep you safe.

Really nice hotel… very clean! still has the new building smell even though it has been open 3 years! Good breakfast, and very nice staff! Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our time at TownePlace Suites. It was very clean and a nicely updated hotel. Breakfast was decent. My only complaint was that maybe they need to have a better spot for workers to take a smoke break. We tried to have breakfast out on the patio with our young kids, and there were three workers sitting out there smoking. I understand they need a break, but maybe away from where guests would be eating.

It was pretty clean and comfortable. Breakfast was pretty bland but other than that it was a great stay for the price.

Nice clean rooms! I always enjoy my stay, the staff is EXCELLENT and The housekeepers have the greatest attitude.

This was my first stay at a TownePlace. I frequent Marriott properties and I was pleased with this one. This hotel was cleaner and nicer than the Residence Inn in Chattanooga Downtown that I recently stayed in. The room was a bit small for a family of four but we only needed it for one night. The biggest contention over the room was that the pull out sleeper sofa permits no access to the opposite side of the king bed. Every just 1ft of space would have made this better but it wasn't a deal breaker. I would stay here again if I had the opportunity in the future.

I always love coming to this hotel. The people are very friendly and it is always very clean and organized. The breakfast is small, but it's just enough. The rooms are cozy. I've never had an issue here and I will return when I come back to Columbia.

Very nice property. Many amenities and great atmosphere. New manager called my room to remind me to check out. Kinda rude. Told him so. Never had this experience at Marriots for 35 years. Will probably reconsider staying here again.

It's very comfortable staying here. Their room has small but clean kitchen. Bathroom is clean with decent size. Sofa bed is not comfortable to sleep on but it's not something you should have high expectations.

The hotel is nice and clean, most of the staff are very friendly. I've been here for 2 weeks and have a few more weeks here as my house is getting remodeled. The general manager is a sweetheart, as well as the older black woman who serves breakfast. There's one staff member named George who is very condescending and seems to talk down to the patrons. He's very nice nasty and seems like a disgruntled employee. I have even considered changing hotels and stay elsewhere because of him. His not so friendly attitude will cost the hotel to lose money, as the next time something occurs involving him I will gladly take my business elsewhere.

Hotel is convenient located by many restaurants and shopping. The hotel was very clean and with updated finishings. The room comes with a full refrigerator, sink, hot plates and a dishwasher. And serves a hot breakfast. I enjoyed my stay.

Our experience was wonderful, the hotel is very nice. The rooms were kept very clean and the staff was exceptional. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Columbia. We will definitely be staying here again.

While I would just say it's a hotel, service was great. Employees were nice and free water and lemonade for the eclipse. Made it more fun.

The entrance was a little tricky to find. Beautifully decorated hotel. Excellent service. Clean and comfortable rooms.

Was very clean and spacious. A little bit of road noise could be heard but the A/C fan was able to drown it out for the most part. Would definitely recommend. Also, the breakfast with very good.

First I would like to commend Norlaine for being so helpful and kind! We were here for a convention and it was a great experience! The room was great and the service was great. Standard continental breakfast, the dining area is a little small but nice and clean. There is a pool but I did not use it. Looked clean. No bar area. Carts for luggage available, we had no problem getting one. Nice area, sufficient parking and well lit.

Room and breakfast were nice but we were overcharged for our rooms. We booked the hotel rooms (2 separate rooms) two months ahead of time. When got there, we used two different cards, one to pay for the rooms and one to pay for the incidentals fee. The first card that we used was good for the first room but the front desk worker said it was declined for the second room. We knew this was incorrect because we had more than enough to cover both rooms. After speaking with the bank and looking at the bank account through the phone app, it was confirmed that the hotel charged us twice for the first room, leaving little to no money left in the account! We informed the front desk worker of this error but she insisted that on her end it only charged the card once. We asked to speak to the manager, Mark, but he wasn't there at the time, so we were told to try and catch him the next day. We went the entire weekend without actually speaking to the manager and on one of the days, we got locked out of the room because they said we didn't pay for it! The management at this hotel is terrible and very irresponsible. If a customer has an issue, especially with something like being overcharged, the manager should come down and talk to the customers in person. When we got back home we had to set up a conference call between the hotel manager, and our bank. The bank walked him through the transaction and he finally saw where we were charged twice for the room.

Well I like this place because the front desk man was awesome. He was very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious. Then bed nice and comfortable. I stayed here for the kitchenette. The best place in the area. So I needed to cook. They had everything pots pan utensils. Extended stay & home town suites doesn't.

I made reservations months ago and requested a specific tion because the layout was good for my bad leg. I check in… they had in the notes that I asked for the specific room but he said whoever did the reservation didn't do it. No apology… is a shame… this was our go to place.

Location is perfect in relation to shopping and Downtown Columbia. The room had a small kitchen which is good if you don't necessarily want to spend money on eating out. Very modern look and feel. Comfortable as well.

The Harbison Road area is full of restaurants and shopping, so once you check in you do not to travel very far to get a bite to eat. They have a nice fitness room, with new equipment, and you can also access a full service health club less than a mile down the road. Wi-Fi is good. The hotel is fairly new, the rooms are clean and the staff friendly. My only complaint is the traffic noise from the Interstate, so turn that A/C up try to drown it out with "white" noise.

I just stayed here for 4 nights. Very nice spacious and clean rooms. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good every morning. I only have 2 complaints. The hair dryer has no high setting. Took me forever to dry my hair. I would recommend not putting someone actoss from kitchen. I would use that room as last resort. Very noisy in the morning and some noise at night.
I would stay here again!

Generally clean, rooms are always nice, staff helpful. Coffee in lobby and in room, breakfast options are nice good place for a traveler or small family. Noisy from road. A great gym for a hotel with small free weights and a bench, treadmills, elliptical machine.

It is in a great location for dining and shopping especially if you bring your fam. Breakfast was not as I expected. Cleanliness definitely needs improvement though.
