We had reservations to stay at this Econolodge for 4 nights this weekend. We were disappointed upon arrival! It almost looked like they were out of business. After checking out the room we immediately went to the Comfort Inn right down the road! The Econolodge is disgusting! We would never stay in a place that dirty! Ugh!

Very nice suite for a nice rate. Loved the sound of frogs all night long… slept peacefully.

Nice little place, with much more than expected in the room! Stove, microwave, fridge, and 2 TVs. Will definitely consider using here again on next trip!

Great place to stay. You can't beat the prices either! A nice clean environment.

Filthy and smelled like a truck stop bathroom. Coffee pot was nasty and the condiment pack for it was opened, stomach is still turning even after only being inside for a few short minutes.

The room was filthy. There was hair in all the drawers, hair all over the beds, the mattress covers were taped together, and we found black bird feathers in the mini fridge. They only have us one bath towel and it was also full of hair. There was a live bug on the table. There was a build up of dirt on the walls and molding. Staff didn’t seem to see an issue. Never again!

Nice size rooms. Can sleep up to 6 with sofa bed. Not 5 star, but very reasonable for the price. Perfect for a quick family getaway.

After book at this motel with no refund I get there at 9 30 at night aft we r driving 3 hours I wait in the lobby for 30 minites nobody there I call the place the guy give me all kind of an attitude about wait for him come out in a rage like I disturbed him trying to give him busness like I am an inconvenience has a attitude with me about him not being there and was a totle jerk to me treated me like scum the place is a dump the customer service is more than terible they are disrespectfun and the place is not well managed or taken care of I would suggest any place other than this one even if u have to pay 5 more dollars absulout trash … can even being to describe how terrible this place is save your money and spend it on something better.

If I could give zero stars to this dump I would. It is dirty, outdated, and has bad customer service. You get what you pay for. They would only give us 2 towels for 4 people. There was a dirty glove on the bathroom floor. The furniture looked nasty. No dishes, utensils, or pans in the kitchen. Don't stay here.

Best price in the Poconos. Huge rooms, newly renovated. Thumbs up.

The consensus is true… dirty. Run down. Had to ask for everything. Mist uncomfortable furniture… garbage never picked up… what they show on pic is not true. Brought my own sheets and pillows. Any more … no screens. Dirty windows. I could go on…

Low rates and lots of space in the room, but not a lot else. King bed was a little too hard, you can hear your neighbors (we were on the bottom floor and the guest upstairs was stomping around in the middle of the night), and the tap water was cloudy.

Nice rooms. Like a small apartment. Run by very kind family. Simple complimentary breakfast.

I like it alot especially compared to surrounding hotel. Bed feels great after 10 hr drive from Chi.

The room was nice and spacious. That was the only pro. The cons are: There was no hot water for 2 days for a shower, the owner I'm assuming was rude as hell, the phone goes off at all hours of the night, and in the morning. Our things were moved all over from house keeping, and there could be better parking. Safe to say I won't be there ever again. The card keys never work and the sliding glass door never locked along with the hand turn lock on the door. Glad I didn't even try the breakfast!

This place is great. Rooms are all one bedroom apartments with kitchens. Newer furniture and TV's (in living room and bedroom). Kitchen appliances are older but work just fine and everything is clean (I always check the bed including under the mattress). Low rate and nice wooded location but not too far from things. Owners were also friendly. Pretty much the opposite of some of the bad reviews on here. I will definitely stay here again!

I would give 0 stars if possible! stay away from this dump. We checked out within an hour and found better arrangements near by. Dirty, outdated, no working ac in room, utterly disgusting. Would rather sleep in car at a truck stop all weekend then stay in that room.

Excellent place for what it is. I've stayed 3 nights a year for the past 6 years and more to come. Management is great.

Can't wait to go back. This is fourth year in row for cardboard classic. Rooms this years were updated with new furniture and tv. They also provide room service if you need to order food from next door 940 pizza place. Pizza was really good. Outside of motel still need update.

It was best stay ever nice comfortable room separate sleeping area, big flat screen TV in both room. Kitchen was extra on top. This was best value for price. It is older property so don't expect to be fancy.

Place just seems like a dump and when you walk in it puts the cherry on top, everything was out dated. Wallpaper was peeling, room phone was dead, TV didn't work, bathroom panels were loose, key cards wouldn't read right, frame of the tub had a hole in it and the beds just felt like hard wood. And it had this weird stench. So overall I would not recommend this place unless you wanna bask in something you knows there but can't see it.

Good facilities and updated furniture and electronics. Big, suite style rooms, friendly staff and nearby lots of outdoor amenities and skiing. Nice spot to get away for a few days.

This place was a horrible stay! My room was not cleaned prior to me checking in. There was mouse droppings on the stove and sink in the kitchen and the bathroom shower had a green residue that stained the tub and there was hair everywhere! I called the front desk and the receptionist wasn't nice ; all I wanted was someone to come and clean. I never requested any compensation for the inconvenience but she automatically assumed which I didn't like either. And then when I got to the bed there was dead bugs on the boxsframe. I will never stay here again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The suite was great because we could put our kids to bed, close the bedroom door, and still have a living room, kitchen, and bathroom. Central air kept the whole suite cool and quieter than many hotel rooms. Breakfast was small, but I was looking for a bargain and got it with this older motel. We stayed there in July 2011.

Most of the time I stayed at this motel the Wi-Fi didn't work and whenever there was signal it was "very low" that my computer couldn't get connection. I informed the manager about this who said "I am sorry". She didn't say if it would get fixed, rather she left the office!
