Crowne Plaza Suites, Pittsburgh South was wonderful to work with for our wedding. We had an awesome wedding planner that helped us with everything! The tables were perfect. The food was great and everything went according to plan. My family even said that the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful with dinner. Thank you for all your help in making our wedding day extra special!

I can't even give the Crowne Plaza and staff enough stars for our experience with them! Kelli and her assistant made all of my dreams come true the night of my wedding. Seeing how they made everything come together brought tears to my eyes, they went above and beyond to make our wedding a night we would never forget. My experience with Kelli from the moment I booked her to the very end was amazing. She was quick to respond to ALL of my emails and as a bride you have a million and one to ask! She even had no problem dealing with my crazy great uncle who wanted things a certain way. The staff for the wedding was incredible, always helping and making sure not only my husband and I were happy but every single one of our guests as well. The food was incredible! We did a buffet which I wasn't so sure about in the beginning, turned out to be the best choice ever because it made everything so easy and simple. For everything you don't think of for the special day they have covered and will ask you before you get the chance. For all you Brides who are on the fence about a venue to choose this is no doubt the best choice to make. I can promise you that you will not regret it for one moment!

Our last night on our trip, we stayed here while visiting friends in Mt. Lebanon and Dormont. The hotel was a perfect end to our long week. The staff were friendly and helpful. Emily greeted us and then followed up with a text a bit later to check on our satisfaction with our room. The hotel was beautifully renovated, clean, and quite comfortable. We will return next time we are in town.

The hotel was very clean, amenities very nice. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. A staff member even phoned the room once in order to assist a family member trying to get in touch with me. Only issue, which was very small, was that the air conditioner continued to cool the room down past the set temperature. It's the type of thing happens at many hotels, so we didn't feel the need to report the matter to staff. Overall, good experience.

It was very clean and the atmosphere was inviting, classy, lobby/ hallways, bar were all clean and well staffed. Servers in bar and at wedding were great. How ever — there was a leak in the ceiling in banquet room which happened to be almost directly over the wedding cake. Not only did they repeatedly wipe the floor up right in front of wedding party table during dinner/ reception. But they did this for half hour at least before finally looking at ceiling. At which point a manager and a few other staff members brought out a huge ladder and proceeded to open up the ceiling tiles. STILL OVER CAKE! (Moving cake table would've been a Very simple, quick, tactful move) … but they dug in ceiling and all crowded around and STILL HAD THEM CUT CAKE at the same exact time appx 2 ft away! The female manager who clearly is soooo well trained,

We hosted a fundraising event there last week. The Event staff were wonderful to work with, making the event a huge success. They helped us get all the details organized and made the room look gorgeous. The chicken wellington was delicious. The food was well prepared and served well. Thank you Crowne Plaza!

Dirty toilets. Plastic from seats literally ripping apart. The toilet seats were completely yellow and you know the reason. Most comfortable mattress we ever slept on. The mattresses are probably beyond their service age. The staff was helpful in making us change the room and that’s what 2 stars are for.

The lobby offers lots of space to gather. My room was very clean and offered everything, even modern charging stations. Bathroom was large, well lit, and the tissue paper is perfect. Had a magnifying mirror which is a real bonus. Staff was super attentive. Emily followed up daily to make sure all was well. Nic runs a top notch establishment. I attended an evening function and the fish was superb. The area is surrounded by shopping opportunities and really handy.

Wife hab a seizure. The staff was very quick to respond an sat with her until EMS got here. I'm very impressed.

The lunch was good. The salad bar offering as a main course was unique. The only drawback is that some of the conference rooms are so far from the main door and there are very few luggage carts to take things too and from the car. If I had to have an event they would certainly be a location to consider.

I was there for an event, not an overnight guest. The interior of the lobby area seems nice and contemporary. The staff is polite. Plenty of parking. That's pretty much all I can say.

Great stay. Have been staying here alot due to some work being done in the area. Traveling from New York every weekend.

The hotel has wonderful service. The interior is beautiful with plenty of rooms and space. I attended a wedding reception and a rehearsal dinner there. The staff are friendly and quick to remedy a situation. I didn't stay over night, but my family thst did loved it. Close to a mall and several stores.

Great location! Right across the street is a mall filled with great stores and restaurants. The hotels restaurant, gather, is also wonderful! The hotel gym is very clean and has practically brand new equipment. Rooms are very clean with lots of extra towels and a tall mini fridge. Great stay, will be back again!

Had a stay here for 14 days. Nice rooms, excellent service. Bar in the lobby, and they serve dinner even at midnight. The breakfast is the only downer — not a good selection. And if your staying for more then a weekend — grab something with you from another place and store it in the freezer in your room overall a good stay and the service was perfect.

I have stayed here for 3 months now. The staff are amazing. Molly is the most helpful person.

Me personally. It was just okay. Friends in our group couldn't get hot water for 3 days. Restaurant was not the best. They ran short of food. Some soups were nothing more than broth, and needed to be sent back to be heated. Service was fair. Breakfast servers were great.

It was an enjoyable experience. Friendly staff. Nice, clean, spacious rooms. Only complaint is the walls were a little thin, but I can sleep through anything.

I give no stars. No extra blankets and only a thin cotton blanket on the bed — we like to sleep in a cool room with a warm blanket. Only one short towel rack for both our bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths. Ridiculous. Only one chair and an ottoman. So only one of us can sit back and relax. No safe in the room — it is downstairs at front desk. Very inconvenient. Not bough coffees in the room. Have to chase more at front desk and they then order them. nothing works smoothly. Staying here kicks off many small frustrations.

Nice, clean rooms. Very friendly service. Restaurant attached looked very nice, but didn't dine.

Attend Crown Plaza Suites Pittsburgh South for a wedding reception and stayed the night. Reception felt flawless. Food and dessert was very good. Event had open bar and drinks were good. Room was very clean, bed was a bit soft for my taste. Overall if planning a wedding reception where need a place for guests to stay would not hesitate to use this facility.

Nice big and clean wheelchair accessible room for my grandmother and me… also had 2 beds… sometimes hard to find with accessible rooms.

Room was clean and comfortable, have absolutely no complaints. Hotel set up a beautiful wedding reception and was more than accommodating to our large groups after party in the pool area. Only negative is that this hotel does not offer a free breakfast of any kind.

Attended family event in conference space. Parking is great and space was nice. Breakfast provided was average for catered hotel. Staff deemed a little overwhelmed with a larger event next door; responsiveness could have been better.
