Sometimes even shoe string songwriters stay in style. The Best Western Plus Country Cupboard Inn in Lewisburg, PA is a beautifully maintained, friendly, clean, quiet, and convenient stay, right off of Route 80. My room was exceptionally spacious and impeccably clean, and so quiet that I slept better than I’ve slept in a long time. The complimentary breakfast was solid with veggie omelets, sausage, fresh fruit and good coffee. The comfy chairs in the lobby by the fire made for a good spot to catch up on email before hitting the road. I will stay here again when performing the Bullfrog Brewery down the road in Wiliamsport, PA.

Such an amazing and wonderful place to stay and will be staying there every time we come for the world series.

Lovely stop over at the Best Western! The area is nice and the Country Cupboard (next to the hotel) is a wonderful shop for fresh baked goods, jams, jellies, gift items and local goodies. The beds were comfy, the room was very clean and breakfast was good. The only reason I deducted 1 star is because the ac in our room wasn't working great so it was humid in there. The staff was very attentive.

The hotel is a bit dated but was very clean and the service was great. Breakfast was basic but well presented. Internet was free and consistent. The bed was comfortable. Keurig coffee in room. I did not get a chance to use the gym or indoor/outdoor pool but having these are important aspects of any of my stays. I would recommend staying here.

So nice to have both indoor and outdoor pools. Both are quite large with nice seating areas. The breakfast buffet was very nice with lots of choices. One great idea was that they had pre bagged ice for us which was fast and clean. Not sure if they always do this… we were here during LITTLE LEAGUE WORLD SERIES so this was a great value and only twenty miles away.

A very nice hotel to stay at. Our room was nice and clean and very comfortable. The breakfast menu is like no other with tons of choices to choose from. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable. They get two thumbs up from this girl. Way to go Best Western. I will be returning in the future and would highly recommend to friends and family.

This was a fantastic place to stay! The hotel was extremely clean, well staffed with friendly helpful people. The grounds are very well landscaped and we enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the pond. The breakfast bar was so wonderful, much larger than any I've ever seen in a hotel and so many food choices, hot and cold. The store and restaurant are wonderful too. The dining room is very well maintained and the staff are all friendly and so efficient. The food is fantastic! We also love the well stocked store and friendly staff there, particularly Lynda in the clothing/jewelry area and Melinda and Alex in the dining room.

Wow, just wow. First time at this Best Western Plus and absolutely loved it. Largest Best Western property I've ever been to and it was all incredibly clean. Fitness Center was among the best I've seen in a hotel. Plenty of cardio and weight training options. The pool area was great, wish I had time for the hot tub. Breakfast area was spacious, nice to be able to get a quiet spot to read while enjoying the healthy choices that were available, even during the busiest hour. The room was spacious and laid out well. So much area for electronics to charge while still working. Love having the mini fridge and microwave. Like the rest of the hotel, the room was spotless. Also love having multiple sinks. So helpful if I was traveling with someone. Though I didn't have time, I did see a terrific looking patio and it sits on a pond. It would be a great place to read, study or just unwind. Look forward to coming back.

VERY NICE, CLEAN, FRIENDLY STAFF! There is a very nice restaurant and bakery beside the hotel. Room (suite) was clean and spacious with microwave, and a refrigerator (including complimentary water bottles). SPECIAL NOTE: If need Handicapped Parking … as long as you have a placard/official license plate you can use the "15 Minute Parking" spaces near the front doors. There are NO marked Handicapped spaces.

Great staff. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Loved the hot tea and coffee always available. Very clean. Internet did keep cutting in and out. Lighting in the room could have been better. Overall a great place to stay.

This hotel is extremely well-run. I have stayed there at least four times every year for the past 4-5 years. Staff is always professional and friendly. The rooms are spotless, bedding very comfy, with all the usual amenities provided. The breakfast room is large and inviting with a large selection of food choices. I highly recommend.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The outside grooming was very eye appealing. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast bar kept clean. My family will definitely come back.

It was not the first time here. I love the hotel, it's pretty, well maintained, clean, and perfectly located. Staff was great, breakfast adequate, and overall good. I will be back. My only complaint, the bed was a bit saggy or worn, but was manageable. If that's my biggest complaint then I will be fine.

SO close to being perfect! Our only complaint was the requirement to walk through the smokers each time we entered and exited the hotel. The two benches just outside the automatic lobby main entrance door were other guests' favorite place to come out and smoke. I was surprised to see this (daily) because we thought it was a smoke-free property (? ) so at first my husband and I wondered if maybe these smokers were unsanctioned, breaking hotel policy but the smokey entrance and exits to the hotel continued all three days of our stay and we noticed there was a hotel-provided cigarette-butt disposal next to each bench :-/ Our 7 and 8 year old made it a game to see who could run through the dual-smoker benches the fastest without inhaling (comical, but not the hallmark of a family-friendly property. ) This is a shame because otherwise it is an EXCEPTIONALLY WONDERFUL Best Western property which boasts beautiful garden areas, full delicious breakfast, child-friendly amenities and caring staff. So close to being 100% amazing — — please take it all the way with a smoke-free entrance!

UPDATE: We’ve just received a phone call from the owner about our experience, which is truly appreciated. They have offered to “make it right” and spoke with the staff that we interacted with that day. If nothing else, I can at least say as a business owner, I would do the same if a customer had any issues. Thank you for reaching out to us and for your sincere apology and concern. Out of desperation, we still walked over to the hotel to check in. As we got to the front desk to check in, I produced my service dog’s documents — she wouldn’t even look at them — a Korean man walked up behind us (he thought our car was parked at the door and needed clearance) our very tired dog simply alerted that someone was coming up to me — not a full out bark — just a chirp. I assured him that she was friendly and not aggressive, she just wanted to say hi. And then out walks what I assume was a manager. He immediately had a very aggressive and unwelcoming demeanor. Tells the clerk she needs to get us checked in right away to get this dog out of the lobby. We were being rushed for no reason. I assured him the dog was friendly and we’d be ok.

We stay here every Memorial Day weekend. We love the location. During our most recent stay the staff went above and beyond to make things easy for me and my newborn baby.

I have stayed here several times. It is conveniently located, always clean. The staff is always cheerful and helpful. The pool and rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is DELICIOOUS.

I love this place a very nice view the staff very attentive and very professional is a very quiet and relaxing place, my people would recommend it.

Hotel was very nice. Overall appearance was excellent and you can tell it is a well maintained property. Beautiful surroundings. Very friendly staff. Gift store and restaurant was very nice. Food for dinner was very good. Breakfast staff did a great job. Food was hot and delicious. Homemade cinnamon rolls were my favorite.

Excellent for food and meetings. Thoroughly enjoyed the buffet, especially the Red Pepper Crab Soup. The acoustics of the meeting room were well balanced. I would highly recommend the facility.

This hotel is beautiful! Grounds are lovely with a pond and outdoor pool. The location was perfect just off I 80. Breakfast is better than the usual hotel fare and if you want to rest, no worries there is no need to go anywhere. The indoor pool/hot tub and sauna are very nice. There are also little shops, a bakery, restaurant and a sport house grill on site. And very close by is Sheetz, Walmart, a flea market and a few more eateries. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

Had a great stay! Room was a clean, great size, staff was pleasant, and the free breakfast was perfect for a quick bite to eat. Definitely would stay again!

Best Western in Lewisburg is an excellent hotel for my needs. I visit my granddaughter in Bucknell. It is close to the University and the staff is extremely helpful with directions, accommodations and restaurants. I will definitely return for the next 3 years.

Very nice Hotel. Very friendly and accommodating. We would come back. Nearby is a Walmart and opposite mattys (a Sports Bar) with good Beer and nice special Dishes (Burgers, Wings, Rips)

We booked through Expedia and chose this place because they were supposed to have long term parking. First they could not find our reservations. While waiting throughout check in they tell me they do not have long term free parking. Ended up we did have to pay for 2 out of 8 days. The room was clean and fairly inexpensive and shuttle to and from airport for our travel was a plus!

This is the cleanest, most professional hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff is friendly, and they go out of their way to help you. The breakfast is fresh and hot, the rooms are very clean and fresh, and the beds are very comfortable. They truly made us feel at home while at our conference.

The room and bathroom were nice and clean. It was a nice surprise our room had a refrigerator and microwave and bottles of water were cool in the fridge upon arrival. The only complaint was the breakfast. The eggs weren't hot and the bagel I had wasn't the freshest. Overall, it was a great stay.

The location was perfect for our needs. The room was appointed very nicely with a nicer than average bathroom. Staff was very cordial and helpful with any requests. Top that off with a very nice continental breakfast. This will be our choice of lodging the next time we are in the area.

This hotel is the best in its class! We don't normally stay at Best Westerns, but this one is very different from the norm. Beautiful pool area, immaculately clean, great breakfast, and very helpful staff.

This hotel and resort have been a family favorite for us for over 20 years. The hotel and rooms have always seemed fresh and up-to-date. The dinner buffet is always good. The Broasted chicken and baked corn are worth coming for on their own. The restaurant staff are friendly and pleasant. The atmosphere of the restaurant is that of a family-oriented operation. The restaurant is 'dry'. To have it any other way would detract from the family atmosphere. To top it off, you have the year-round Christmas shops and the bakery to distract you. Oh, and check out the fudge counter!

Nice hotel for an overnight with extremely clean rooms and an exceptionally friendly staff. Breakfast was nice. Would stay here again without hesitation. Love that they have my favorite candy in the lobby.

It was a nice hotel. It's an interesting point, the average customer was in there retirement years. So I don't know if it's a branding issue, or simply older individuals travel during the week… But it was interesting that we were half the age of other overnighters. The buffet country cupboard patrons has the same observation. Good food. Matty's it's awful don't go there.

Great place to stay in this area! Delicious full breakfast with many options is offered. Comfortable bed! Good Wi-Fi. If we are here again this is where we will stay!

A first class hotel at a very reasonable price that offers everything a traveler would enjoy. We have been coming to this hotel for years and still enjoy their accommodations. The breakfast buffet is a model every hotel should use. The staff is friendly, the rooms are updated and the hotel is adjacent to the restaurant and gift shop. They can accommodate busloads of people but, you would not have to wait in line for very long. If their hotel is full they also have another hotel on their property. This hotel is for everyone but, they especially accommodate senior citizens and handicapped people.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. The quality and service are outstanding. The rooms and common areas are in great shape. Indoor and outdoor pools, fitness room, in house breakfast and a short walk to a sports bar, nice shops and a restaurant/buffet. Just a few minutes south of Interstate 80. This is my go to place.

This is a wonderful complex of hotel, shops and restaurant. Very comfortable and well maintained. A great destination just in itself! Very family oriented. Warm, friendly and well managed! One of the nicest places to stay!

I loved this place, and plan to return, as well as plan to recommend it to all my friends and relatives who have to travel through central PA. It seems like people went through and tried to completely anticipate their guests' every need, every behavior and instinct. This is one (rare) hotel room where the towels and bathroom fixtures and amenities are not awkward and frustrating, but rather, flow easily, cleanly, instinctively. From the placement of towels and trash can, to the black bag embroidered "Hair Dryer. " This anticipation of design carries through the lobby and hallways and grounds, for a "complete comfort" experience. The furniture, lights, fixtures are tasteful and lovely and not run-down or worn. The room was very clean. The breakfast is outstanding. The staff are delightful, friendly, helpful. Its proximity to the Country Corner shopping experience is a real benefit! I love all the shops and bakery and always come away with terrific finds and gifts. This hotel is worth its fee, and as a Best Western Gold member, we are treated like very special guests.

We loved staying here! Delightful place, lots of room and so clean! Would definitely stay here again! There is a path around a pleasant pond, outside the hotel, that was so nice to walk and stretch our legs after traveling.

Typically, I use a different hotel chain for my stays, but I had an event close by where the rooms were blocked. I was pleasantly surprised by my stay here. The hotel was nice as was the room. Service was good. Would stay again.

Very enjoyable stay would definitely recommend this hotel and want to stay again when in area. This hotel I must say is very ideally located as well. The grounds were immaculate and beautiful. Bring your bathing suit both pools were much relaxing and clean. I took lots if pictures slept well and really can't say enough pleasant things about my stay.

My husband and I loved this hotel. The rooms were very up to date and clean, and the location/proximity to nearby restaurants and shops was great. Also love that they have an outdoor pool! I would recommend finding a nearby restaurant for breakfast; the Continental breakfast provided I would give 2.5/5 stars.

Wonderful hotel! Rooms were clean, spacious, had an actual counter for food, drinks etc… with a mini keurig! Indoor pool was great, hot tub and sauna area clean with plenty of towels. Complimentary breakfast was amazing with lots of hot food choices and cold, much more then expected! Beautiful decor and landscaping, staff friendly and nice, hotel guests not rowdy or crazy. We're hoping to return in summer to try out the outdoor pool!

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times. Twice for the Little League World Series, and a few times as we travel back and forth between Michigan and NYC. We love it. The staff is friendly and kind, the rooms are clean, the indoor pool is great, and the free breakfast has many choices. (Love the waffles you can customize! ) I drove 80 miles through blinding snow in the mountains last night to get to this hotel on my way home from NYC. I didn't want to take a chance on any other hotel. I knew what I was getting and it was worth the white knuckled drive to get there! Highly recommended!

We'd stayed here before and really enjoyed it and when we were looking for a place to stop on the way south, we almost went past the BWPCCI because it was pretty early for us to stop. We were on motorcycles headed for Florida via the AutoTrain and we figured we could get another 75-100 miles in so we stopped for gas next door at the Sheetz Gas. Station and, low and behold it began to rain and then it was raining hard. The price at BWPCCI was fluctuations but mainly pretty high but when I called, Trish answered the phone and was very peasant. I asked for their best rate and she gave me a rate lower than the Internet rate by a couple dollars and then told me that AAA would bring that down 10%. We were in! I told her we were calling from next door and would be right over. We made a dash for the bikes and scooted through the back parking lots and pulled in under the front overhang. When I walked in the door, the paperwork was already completed, the keys created and she had towels for us to wipe the bikes off, along with small first aid kits, discount coupons for the gift shop and house made chocolates. She remembered us from our last visit and we had a nice chat while a wedding party shot some photos. The room was great! Spotless and big! We dried of with a bourbon after a good days ride and decided on the Country Cupboard Restaurant for dinner, another fgood stop with a big buffet.

Clean large room, friendly, professional staff, pool with hot tub and sauna. Attached restaurant with homestyle cooking and reasonable cost. Gift shop with a great selection of items. We stay there every year!

Very well appointed rooms, awesome, friendly staff and a great place to stay if you are visiting Bucknell University. Good internet, gym, two pools and close to restaurants. Throughly enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast spread was excellent. Staff were very helpful. Room was very spacious with all amenities you would need. Only let down was the smell in the corridor and room which was a bit unpleasant.

Clean, nice facilities. Power strips on the night stands is a nice touch. Breakfast is tasty and varied. One of. The nicer places we've stayed at.

It is a great place to relax after a 4 1/2 hour drive to get there. I love swimming they have an indoor and outside pool. Staff friendly — free breakfast with great selections. Restaurant a walk away. We booked it again this year.

The room — a double — was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The internet is satisfactory, although there is still room for improvement. The staff were friendly and courteous, including the room cleaning staff.

Great hotel but for any important Bucknell weekend if you are coming from out of state don't expect to get a reservation. For the graduation they'll tell you to call on a certain date and time and you'll never get in. I suspect that you have to have some frequent guest "in" to get into the system.

We've stayed here many times as a halfway point from Virginia to New York, and we continue to come back. This hotel is beyond spotless and well appointed. Very nice breakfast in the morning. Rooms are always clean, with very comfortable beds. They really think of everything with bottle of water in the fridges, and small bags of ice for travellers. We have never been disappointed with a stay here, and will continue to return a few times a year.

I was touring a bunch of schools this week and was never too excited about the hotels I was staying at. The best Western was the nicest I've stayed at this week. Nice, clean rooms, friendly staff. Not much to do except Bucknell in Lewisburg so location kind of boring. Nice hotel though.

This Best Western was located 5 miles from I-80. We were on a multi-state trip. They checked us in quickly and had our room ready. Good service. In the morning, they had an excellent breakfast including great sticky buns. My only complaint was that there was no central heating, so each time the heating unit turned on, it made noise, which was annoying while sleeping.

Absolutely spotless. Soon as you layed down, you could smell the clean sheets. Free breakfast buffet with really good walnut cinnamon rolls. I didn't get to experience the whole hotel but outside the window there was a beautiful outdoor seating along the pond. Would recommend to anyone.

Andy/Mike/Kelly and their co-workers provides exceptional service. The rooms are well represent i. E. Clean. The Cleaning Staff always acknowledge us with a Hello. Lastly the breakfast program which includes Oatmeal is excellent… The conveniently located Country Cupboard dinning facility next Door is a most visit.

Very nice hotel. Used points to pay for night with no hassle. Clean, nice smelling, good coffee. Walls are a little thin, you could hear out in the hall pretty clearly, but it was not a problem. Signage was on the floor (looked/smelled like renovations had recently happened). Nice laundry room. Complementary bags of ice, no machines.

I can't say enough good things about the experience my wife and I had at the entire complex. The whole team, from the desk receptionist to the GM Jennifer, were top notch! I chided with my wife that we were getting the 'white glove' service. But we really did! We're local, but wanted a night away from the house to relax and it was great! Local or out of town, I'd recommend the Best Western and the great food next door at the Country Cupboard to anyone.

Beautiful, comfortable, lots to do within walking distance. Great place to lounge, relax in the beautiful gardens or shop. Good restaurant. Antiques too.

Loved the hotel, the staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was very good for a "continental" breakfast and included the famous country cupboard sticky buns! Clean, easy to access, great amenities, nice pool and hot tub, fitness area, everything top notch.
