I have stayed with them in the past and it’s been a good experience large clean room. Can’t seem to get a hold of them for reservations this year I get a phone recording but never get a call back.

My husband and I stayed September 8th & 9th, 2018, for an event that I had! 1 Star is an extremely high rating for such a disgusting and horrible place! The room was moldly, with water raining inside the room all the night due to water damage in the ceiling. When we asked the attendant they stated the the place was full. At checkout we showed the pictures to someone at the front desk and they just asked us to call Peter the owner. When we called on Monday not only did we never get a return call back, but not even an apology for renting such a disgusting room. Not only was the smell of mildew horrible, but the place was extremely outdated and GROSS!

The breakfast was lackluster. The rooms really need a deep cleaning. But the service is awesome. The location is perfect. There's a nice pool. And the grounds are well kept. Great for hanging out quietly in Amish country. For the price it's a great deal.

Overnight stay with late check-in. Rooms were large, with the usual appliances (mini fridge, microwave, etc). Beds were nice. Firm mattresses with great pillows. Bathroom was clean. Only slightly off the main rt 30 path, but rates were reasonable. Beautiful county setting.

We have stayed at Cherry Lane several times over the past 10 years. Clean, welcoming staff and nice outdoor pool. Love the location, your in the middle of Amish farm land. You get to see plenty of horse and buggies. Cherry Lane needs some updating but nothing that would keep me from going back. Nice breakfast offered, fresh hot coffeee, bagels, cereal and juices.

$75 a night for bare minimum. Layers of dust on lights and floors in room, ice maching downstairs so dirty (and cost money) was a no go for me, and the "breakfast" was the cheapest quality packaged Danish and dry muffins and cheap bagels. Two kinds of cheap bulk cereal. No hot food. Bananas served very early were green. Cost us an extra $27 for breakfast elsewhere, that could offset a higher quality facility. Plus, a not so customer service friendly note on the door stating that breakfast food does not go to the rooms. Television was Direct TV at the bare minimum and poor quality. Could not view properly so turned off. Definitely the cheapest of everythong the motel could get away with and advertise for. Professionally travels frequently.

Location and small pool are the only good things about this place. Rooms need renovations and the air conditioning was not that cold.

Nice quiet place to stay. The owners are very friendly and respectful. Says continental breakfast but none was served due to it being "winter". The heat in the room couldve been better and the bathroom needed remodeled. But other than that I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet night in Amish country. Reasonable price.

Would not recommend this place at all. I walked into my room and it smells real musky and gross, its really discusting. Place is really outdated and overall just creepy.

Young guy that works here has bad attitude. I felt like when ever I asked something I was being a burden. Shame because this is nice quiet place if u only the help was kind and respectful.

The staff was courteous and helpful. They couldn't do more to make the stay enjoyable. The rooms were rustic and very well kept and organized. As with all motel and hotels there were some minor issues, but nothing to worry about and that wasn't rectified by the staff.

Cozy, quaint, clean and affordable. This is a family owned business in Amish country. I have read the other reviews; there is no mold smell in the hallway. The motel is connected to a farm so there is a hay smell just outside and in the general area. Often outside it smells like a neighbor is burning wood, again, Amish country. The family is so kind, the evening clerk is a kind woman. They are super friendly and accommodating. I was very comfortable in my bed, lots of pillows! This is an old building with well water. The water gets hot and I took a comfortable bath. If you want a quaint and cozy getaway, place to rest your head, or looking for cheap and clean kid friendly place this is it! If you are expecting the Hilton for the price of a motel and do not like farmland smells in the air, this is not for you. I will be back again and again! Support mom and pop businesses! This is their livelihood and this family works very hard!

3 stars carried by location — adequate for the night. A mixed bag here, PROs: location is perfect for the main attractions — restaurants, Kettle Village etc — very close. And for the location, the price is reasonable with a friendly inn keeper. The grounds are well kept but unfortunately, the room was in poor shape, broken furniture, mini closet sized bath room, floor hazards covered over with carpet. The bed mattress was sloped so I actually slid to one side. If they event money to take care of the rooms, they could get the 100 per night the area commands — adequate.

Beautiful, quaint, hidden treasures of Lancaster county, spacious rooms, model, yet country style, deserves much more notoriety than it has obviously has not gotten, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Quite, peaceful, clean. Everytime I come down to the area, I only stay there. Oh did I mention CHEAP!

Nice location, room was comfy and very clean, bit out dated but not on the important things. The ac was a little undersized, it seemed to have a difficult time keeping the room cool. You get real keys to the rooms! 4 pillows on both our queen beds. I definetly have this on my list of hotels I'd stay again!

We very much enjoyed our stay here, brief though it was. Clean, spacious, friendly. No hassle. And very well situated in Amish Country, the perfect launching point from exploring the region.

Cherry Lane is beyond messaure in the heart of Amish Country. The owners and staff are simply the best. This experience will have me as a return guest for years to come. Do yourself a true favor and experience this amazing hotel.

Many cons to this inn: my family stayed in an upstairs room, the entrance hallway smelled of wet rags and dust. The floor in the room had two sagging holes. The included couch was dirty. The rooms decor looked like it hadn't been updated in 20 years. The water pressure in the shower was extremely weak, and seemed to only have two settings: frigid or scalding. In my opinion, the only nice thing about this inn is the actual beds — they were clean and comfortable. That's the only pro. We won't be going back and can't recommend it to others.

Charming and quaint, this hidden gem of a motel was surprisingly neat and nicely furnished. The mattresses are firm and the bathroom very clean. Has a slightly antiquated feel but everything is kept in very good condition. Cold continental breakfast available. We did not use the pool.

Good location, smelly, rooms, had open door, an windows to air, pool needs cleaning, bathroom needs updating, new housekeeper needed! 1, with good eyesight, that can clean an Hover! Guy at front desk had the check to ask for extra $5, for ground floor room,

Arrived to find that you get what you pay for. The cement around the pool is missing chunks the walkway to the extra rooms that are above the office is in poor shape and grown over the stairs near the door also needed attn the door didn't shut properly the handrail going up on one side was broken the bathroom was very Tiny but clean there was paint cracking and missing From the window sill and the side of the vanity. The fridge stunk like hot dogs over loaded circuits the lawn chairs older rocker style look nice but not too safe. And the picnic tables were falling apart the place was dated the breakfast was basically bread or bagels or pre pkg Danish coffee or juice the orange tasted rather old the good point was the pool in poor condition was clean and the people pleasant oh and the ice machine was Broken… watching the Amish buggies go by was priceless all day.

I booked our room online weeks in advance of my trip. It took us 7 hours to reach this destination. Upon our arrival, we checked in, 1st we could not get in the room with the key given to us, we had to have staff come open the room, which they even had issues. The room was musty smelling and the carpet was stained. We were then showed another room that looked at little better but still extremely musty. Finally we were given a room in the newer part of the motel, which had very old outdated furniture, as well as old bedspreads, counter tops, etc. But it appeared to be clean. This motel really needs to do some updates. The staff was nice, but if I had been able to find a room elsewhere, I would have gotten a refund!

The best experience I ever had. The rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful. And they have a pool, the best place for kids along with a playground for them. I would definitely recommend it!

Rooms were nice and really cheap! However I wasn't happy with the bedding and shower. Pillows were hard and difficult to sleep. If going for one night and tight on budget. Then I would recommend this place.

Experience at Cherry Lane was above average. Location is really good in the Amish neighborhood. We were provided 2 small rooms which was great. Staff was great and they had turned on the room AC before we went there. Pros: location, price, staff. Cons: bed was a little uncomfortable. Shower was very small. Other than that it was a decent experience. I would recommend it if you are going there for 1 night or 2 may be.

Room was OK! But after 1hour in the room, l found a bed bug walking up my blanket. I begun looking for more. I found 4 more, let's leave Now!. Got my refund, will not be back here again. Good luck people.

Clean, comfortable rooms at a good price. Friendly staff and tucked away from the highway traffic so it's quiet. Great access to all of Amish country.

Super friendly staff. Affordable. Great Wi-Fi. Not the Hilton but the only place we stay when in Amish Country. Highly recommend.

Exceptional quality! This is my first time at this hotel and I got to my room late. The feeling I had when I crawled into that cozy comfortable bed says it all. One of the things I noticed that was really nice as well was the heating system, I couldn't hear it and the room was just cozy and warm. My entire experience from the minute I checked in until the minute I checked out was perfect. The managers treating me like family and went out of their way to make sure that I was satisfied. I highly recommend this hotel to travelers visiting the greater Lancaster area.

Had a nice stay here last weekend (Nov 8-10, 2013). I stayed in room 39 and my sister in room 41. Both rooms were on the second floor of the original house. They were very clean and very interesting rooms. The decorations made you feel like you were staying with family instead of some motel. Not the standard cookie cutter room! I had a great view of the buggies going up and down Ronks Rd. I'm definitely looking forward to returning and staying there again!

Have stayed here 4 times now and I am going again thursday. Clean comfy rooms, excellent staff, great location. Also a very handicapped friendly establishment. They go out of their way to make my daughter comfortable. My daughter is in a wheel chair. Diana.
