Nice friendly comfortable hotel.

Worst stay I’ve ever had at a Comfort Suites. Checked into a room that wasn’t even ready as housekeepers were still in there. Keys didn’t work on numerous occasions and would have to go back to desk. Bathroom was disgusting with hair and dirt all in the tub. Blanket for pullout bed had something all over it. A/C so loud no one slept. So many other things yet no one was ever at desk. Had to wait twenty minutes for someone to be there to get toilet paper. Of course so one there at check out to speak to and no one ever got back to me. Would never stay here again or recommend to anyone. While I can 100% empathize with how things are right now with Covid at the end of the day those staying and paying should have at least a comfortable stay.

The handicapped bathroom was amazing big and great access for wheelchair use room was clean staff helpful. This to me is a top 10 choice hotel and I've stayed in plenty.

Excellent place to get away too. I have stayed here over and over again. If someone say let's get away I will tell them let's go to Comfort Suite in Grandville pa.

Close to the casino. Clean room and hot tub. Soft king size bed. Overall enjoyed my stay.

The customer service was great… the room was so clean. We chose the room with the hot tub which we loved … we loved it so much we are going back next month! Can’t wait.

Amazing experience…

Every time we have stayed here the service has been great. The rooms are clean the beds super comfy and there are more than enough pillows on the bed. The whirlpool tub in the room was an added bonus.

Short version: very outdated/broken amenities, overall filthy and the staff was poorly managed. Would highly suggest staying elsewhere. We booked a King size suite for an overnight stay Sunday to Monday. When we arrived at the hotel at 3:15 (check-in is at 3) we were disappointed to be told our room was not yet cleaned and the staff commented how 'this never happens here' and wouldn't give me a clear eta. We waited for close to an hour before our room was clean and we received our key cards. As we went to our room we quickly noticed how filthy the floors of the hallways were.
Since we running late on our plans, we just dropped off our stuff and left. When we came back and began to explore the room, we discovered our mini fridge had a large crack on the inside like someone stabbed it with a screwdriver, the inroom hair dryer didn't work at all, the outlet closest to the bed didn't work, majority of our towels were old had black and brown stains (was set up by housekeeping with stains facing out). Also, we seen the ice machine on our floor (2nd) was full of mold.
However, the most frustrating part was that the a/c unit was set to 55°. We increased the temperature of the thermostat before we went to sleep but found the a/c refused to increase past 62° and we awake to a cold room. We tried to turn it off completely as well, but the a/c still was pushing out cold air. The thermostat must've had low battery's or something cause the a/c was not responding.

Amazing full breakfast, great staff, constant hot water, lots of free TV stations, comfortable beds, anything we needed was taken care of in a timely manner, We had a very enjoyable stay. I recommend this hotel.

Checked in over Memorial Day weekend and the room has no A/C and they weren’t able to change our room because they were sold out. The carpet was filthy with large stains. Received an email from the General Manager admitting the issues and said for me to contact him but after leaving several messages, I still have not heard back from him.

Great staff, really good breakfast and extremely comfy beds.

Definitely will be back♥! Absolutely loved our Jacuzzi room on NYE! BIG bed. CLEAN Gorgeous Room. Waffles in the morning. Super friendly staff. Check out they already took care of. Great price wasn't rediculous cause of New Years & was still vacancy even though we decided last minute. We chose here cause its super close to Hollywood so we got an Uber over. Stay here! No Question!

UPDATED REVIEW: My family and I arrived more than 2 1/2 hours past our reserved check in time. We were asked to wait with a 7 year old and a 1 year old (who’d been played out on a family outing all day) while they made sure there was a room ready. They told me they had a lot of walk ins. What’s a reservation for? They pretended that it was ready. I heard the woman on the phone asking about it. We got up to the room (on a different floor than the one the woman was asking about…) to find housekeeping had just left the room. We found a dirty pair of socks in a drawer. The breakfast was a huge mess. Some foods weren’t available most of the time we were there. The place was dirty and beyond out of date. Mind you, they were apparently quite short staffed due to many call outs for the holiday. I feel bad for those who were left to do all of their work. That said, this seems to be a common experience aft r reading reviews on here. They did give me a We’ve stayed at a few Choice hotels. We don’t do this often, due to our budget. It was a family trip for our daughter’s Birthday. We’ve given good reviews. This place isn’t on that list. I called corporate today and explained that the points they were offering wouldn’t rally help us. They called here to see if they could get me a discount. Know what they offered? TEN DOLLARS! Generous, eh?

My family and I booked this hotel for an end of summer getaway to Hershey. Upon arriving, we asked to extend our stay by an additional night because it was supposed to rain on the day we were to go to the park. The receptionist quoted us the rate for that additional night and we agreed to it. However, when checking out we looked at the invoice and it was more than double the rate that we were told. After bringing it to the receptionist, she said that her manager was not there and that he would fix it when he came in the next day. So, I gave her my info. No one ever called. I called them a few days later, and no one was looking into it. To make a long story short, I was basically called a liar and said that they spoke with the receptionist and she said that she never quoted me that lower rate. After pushing back and having to raise a stink about the issue, they finally made the adjustment. I can't believe we had to go through that! Other than that, the rooms are pretty beat up and wore out. And breakfast is an absolute madhouse and complete mess. Every morning you had to fight for food. And every morning they were out of many things at breakfast. The location is not in a nice area, but the drive to Hershey is pretty simple and about 10-15 minutes. Overall, the hotel is way overpriced for the value you receive and do not expect to get treated like a valued customer. Based on this experience I would never stay at a Comfort Suites again.

Everything was really nice and the breakfast was served at a resonable time. The pool was kept very clean as well and room service kept the room very neat too. The first floor hotel bathroom was also very clean and neat and had a waiting chair in the bathroom.

People were very nice, but our room was very hot and we asked the maintenance guy to come up and fix and he came up he didn’t do anything about it. We were miserable all night. The next day we went out to Hershey Park for the day and when we got back our door was wide open. Our stuff could have been stolen but thank god it wasn’t. But the the pool and gym were okay. Front desk workers were very nice. I do not recommend this hotel but there is a holiday inn right next to this one.

Excellent rooms. They were larger than expected. Clean, spacious, with plenty of room to unroll a yoga mat and do practices. The cleaning staff was very friendly. The front desk seemed slightly computer-inept and less enthusiastic. I'm sure they're ready to have a vacation rather than sell them. :p The breakfast bar is more elaborate than most and, overall, it's a viable stay option to be close to Hershey Park with a lower rate.

Hotel breakfast here is excellent. Very well managed. Good selection, they refill everything quickly, the items are fresh, and the coffee's excellent. The management is very nice, hospitable, and accommodating. And it's a short drive from Hershey Park. Overall great experience. Thanks!

Upon checking in today August 7, 2018 for a 3 night stay the experience started off pretty good. Friendly faces greeted us at the front desk but that is where the pleasantries stopped. We left the hotel for some dinner and returned to use the pool. The pool is a disappointment to say the least. The indoor pool is not heated and the salt water pool is not very clean. I can look past that because the pool is used on a daily basis by many, what I can't look past is the fact that we had an employee of the hotel just walk into our room as my young child was about to get into the shower. My wife was quick to stop him from entering the room. I then went to the front desk to address the situation with someone of higher authority. The young man who tried to enter the room made his way to the front desk in a hurry to explain to the lady at the front desk. She then proceeds to tell me that it was a simple mistake. A simple mistake is double booking a room, not doing your job right and updating your paperwork before you send someone to do their job. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told that there was not one available. Pretty sure a corporate hotel chain would have someone to handle any and every problem on duty at all times, especially around 8 o'clock in the evening. I will be reaching out to choice hotel corporate office to let them know of the practices or lack of practice this particular hotel used tonight.

It was an awful experience. We checked in and there seemed to be no AC working in the lobby and hallway. Once we got to the room, it was a nice big room so we were excited and started to get unpacked. We called the reception desk because we wanted to know what restaurants delivered to the hotel, and no one answered for about ten minutes. An hour later our toilet clogged and when we called they said “we’ll hold the plunger at the front desk for you. ” I went to the front desk and asked why a maintenance person couldn’t do it to which the woman rolled her eyes at me and said there was no one who could do it. Upon checking out the next day, I asked for a discount on the room and I was given the run around how the manager is not there and she can’t do that. I filed a complaint through orbitz, since I booked it through them, and the hotel manager still hasn’t answered them after three weeks. Stay away!

I currently spent 1 night at the Comfort Suites in Grantville, PA to attend a wedding. Please see pictures below as I am completely disgusted with the condition of this room. The dirt, unknown substances, sub-par maintenance is appalling. The TV didn't work the phone was broken. My sister in laws room the door wouldn't even lock. To Pay $194 for 1 night and be subjected to this is unbelievable. The pillows are barely the size of our heads. The TV size is ridiculous. When I pulled out the bed in the couch I wanted to vomit! The mattress is old and urine stained. It was approximately 3 inches deep. S. Was exceptionally nice. B. Came in to our room with an attitude, told me I'm wrong that the stains were the coloring on the mattress. She actually argued with me. Who is the paying customer? There was not even a chair to sit on in the room. The air conditioning kept our son up all night long. It sounded like it was pouring rain.

Run down, old, crappy breakfast. We had a room with a "hottub" and it was a bathtub in the living area. If you just need a place to sleep it will work.

The rooms are a good size. The beds are comfortable, the pillows are quality. The pool is small but the kids loved it. I'm giving this 5 stars because or their continental breakfast. Food is very important to me, and what they've got going on here is fantastic.

Room was very clean and really nice. Only not so great thing was the pool was freezing and salty. Very close to Hollywood Casino and other great shopping spots.

The front desk customer service was great. The young lady was quick and helpful. The room was very clean and peaceful. The bathroom was very clean. I love this place. I only had one issue wit someone smoking next door. I smelled the smoke early in the morning.

We are staying here this weekend. We have a beautifully updated king size Jacuzzi suit, room 328. Bed is very comfortable. Extra blankets and pillows are provided in our closet along with a safe. Coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge all work great. The room was spotless when we arrived last night. The staff is extremely helpful and even allowed me into the breakfast area before the start of breakfast hours to get extra coffee this morning. Very pleased!

It was a nice hotel for the price. It's not very up to date but it is far from falling apart. The only downfall is that it is beside a major highway and you can hear all of the trucks going by all night long.

At first we thought great room for a great price. We were a little taken back to hear our sink leak all night long but we really got upset when our kids were verbally attacked while swimming in the pool because they splashed another person who was just standing in the pool… when reported to the front desk they did NOTHING. If you want to feel secure and have the employees stand up for you DO NOT stay here! P. S. The mattress on our pull out bed was very stained. We travel almost weekly and this was by far the poorest comfort if ever been too.

Had a nice stay. The large tub in the king suite was a plus. Little dated on the room decor but it looks a lot like it’s being changed at the moment and there are tons of recent improvements to the facility. The little store in the front was a nice touch and I rather enjoyed the breakfast there. Also very friendly employees, appreciate it.

We arrived Christmas Eve — they were not busy & the girl at the desk was nice enough to give us an upgraded room — we had a Jacuzzi tub — this was just what we needed & loved. The staff was so nice, the room clean & very comfortable. Thanks to Sonya & The Comfort Inn for a wonderful evening complete with Jacuzzi. Best Wishes from Evan & Gail.

Very comfortable room was clean. Pool was amazing it was like bath water. Had a jacuzzi room it was geat. The only downfall was breakfast was over st 930 we went for breakfast at 9 and there was nothing left even the coffee was gone.

Excellent service! As busy as it was with all the Hershey Park visitors, the staff at the front desk and the breakfast were phenomenal and on top of their game. The second they ran out of something at breakfast they were replacing it — never ran out of food or coffee! The rooms are as you expect for Comfort Suites — comfortable and clean but nothing super fancy. Highly recommend!

I've stayed in roughly 200 hotels the last 2 years for work and have only wrote one review which was due to a excellent experience with a one of the employees. I try not to complain much… But today I'll make the effort. The last thing I want to hear first thing in the morning or ever actually is a table full of hotel employees (5 to be exact) in the breakfast area all talking over one another. Now normally I find a Spanish speaking woman interesting but 5 of them LOUDLY talking at once over one another is enough to make anyone's head explode. I actually thought I was at a Ricky Martin concert.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out was smooth. The room seemed small but it was clean and suitable for our 1 night stay. Breakfast was hot, good variety and well-stocked. For the price, it was perfect for our stay. I would return if ever in the area again.

If you only care about large and inexpensive rooms for sleeping, the hotel is fine. Don't eat here. Containers of half-and-half sat out unrefrigerated for 24+hr. Most of the single-serving packets of butter had melted and re-congealed. The overworked staff routinely ran out of food for "complimentary" breakfast. Don't swim here. Our kids swam 4 feet deep in the pool and we couldn't see them. Don't rent on the fourth floor. The showers only run intermittently.

This hotel is beyond disgusting! Everything made my skin crawl. The bed sheets were stained, the sofabed blankets and sheets were dirty so I brought them to the front desk where I was told they would bring clean ones. That never happened, they brought us 1 coverlet, which was stained like The other 2 on The beds. The room was warm due to the AC not working well so at least the kids weren't cold without the blanket we were promised. The towels were very dingy looking, the carpet is filthy and the breakfast wasn't edible. The pool would have been nice if, it wasn't freezing cold. The doors which are allegedly secured at 10 pm never locked. You'll want to stay somewhere else!

Do not stay here! We had no running water, the telephone in our room didn't work, and the pull out couch was awful. You could feel every spring in the bed. Whenever we would ask for help the front desk lady would roll her eyes at us. The next morning we tried to have breakfast, which is supposed to end at 9:30 but when we went up at 8:30 there was only cereal left with no milk. Very little coffee, no hot food, etc. I was very disappointed with our stay here. Please safe your money and go somewhere else.

First impression is wow when you walk in. Very friendly and helpful and super clean. We have a 2 bed/pull out couch room and it fits all 5 of us nicely. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The attention from housekeeping is top notch and they promised large towels and didn't forget. Big plus we are about 6 or 7 minutes from Hershey park so the location is perfect. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. The continental (free) breakfast was so much more that expected. Eggs hash browns bacon and sausage, waffles yogurt, muffins, bagels, and every drink you could imagine. We love it here.

Phone in room did not work. No ironing board in room. No pool towels for 2 days. Told front desk did not a thing.

Worse hotel I have ever stayed at! Costumer service is terrible and so unprofessional. If I could go give them a negative 5.0 start rating I would! The guest service on third shift is rude and has no costumer service experience. She actually shhhhhhh'd us when we're were being told that we were being loud in our room (we weren't loud) and to top it off when we went to check in rooms weren't even ready, our friends got keys to a room someone already was in. It's valentine's weekend and we can't even enjoy a room we pay 100 and something for. Last year I stayed at Holiday Inn hotel and it was way better loved it there but comfort Inn I hate it! NOT WORTH IT AGAIN ALL! DON'T BOTHER!

Terrible… Staffing was short the day we got there and couldn't get checked in for a while. Ice machine had black mold in every bucket. Went to every floor and every machine was like that. Walls were dirty in room like something was spilled and not wiped off. Candy was found in sofa bed. Room temp was hot and even though it was turned down it still blew hot air. Equipment in fitness room did not work. The video games took our money. The bacon wasn't cooked. Wi-Fi was a terrible connection. The hotel got ice from somewhere and kept behind the desk but would only give small snack size bags to us one at a time. No water pressure in shower and faucet squealed during a shower waking my other people in the room and ran out of hot water. Will not be staying here again…

Good room, paid more than I was hoping to. Only issue was had trouble finding the road the hotel was on. It was dark and a little foggy and went by it twice — looked like a small service road. Thought maybe it was up at the next exit off 81 — you could see it from Highway and the exits aren't too far apart down there. That was out 3rd mistake. Oh well. We got there. But maybe a well placed sign is needed?

I thought it was nice at first until nothing works. Vending machines… All out or broken. You have to go to the desk and pay 2$ for water. Tv was fuzzy as hell, and I had the shower on and flushed the toilet and brown came out… Needless to say this review will continue to the better business bureau.
